This indicator is an extended version of "HTF Candle Boxes" (also by syouske), combining the original candle box visualization with a built-in breakout signal detector. The HTF candle box rendering code is shared from the base indicator — if you only need the boxes without signals, use the standalone "HTF Candle Boxes" instead.
The Idea — Candlestick Anatomy
Every candlestick tells a story through its anatomy:
- The open marks where the crowd committed at the start of the period.
- The wicks reveal where price was rejected — liquidity was swept and the move failed.
- The body shows where price actually accepted and closed.
- The close is the final vote of the period.
When a 4H candle opens and immediately wicks away from its open (sweeping liquidity), then returns back to the opening area, the market is showing a failed move. That open price becomes a magnet. If price then breaks out of that opening zone with conviction, it signals that the sweep was a trap and the real move is beginning.
This indicator makes that entire sequence visible and alerts you the moment the breakout confirms.
How It Works
1. The 4H candle opens and wicks away from its open — this is the sweep.
2. Price returns to the opening zone (open ± ATR-based buffer).
3. Price breaks out of the zone on a confirmed bar.
- Bull setup: wick swept DOWN first, returned to open, broke UP
- Bear setup: wick swept UP first, returned to open, broke DOWN
HTF Candle Boxes
Each higher timeframe candle is rendered as three live zones that expand in real time:
- Upper wick zone (gray) — where price was rejected from the top
- Body zone (green/red) — the accepted range between open and close
- Lower wick zone (gray) — where price was rejected from the bottom
- Optional outer box wraps the full candle range
The boxes grow bar by bar as the HTF candle develops, so you always see the current structure clearly on any lower timeframe chart.
Opening Zone
A cyan box drawn around the 4H open price, sized using ATR from a selectable timeframe. This is the area price must return to before a breakout signal can fire. Fully adjustable via the "Zone ATR multiplier" and "Zone ATR timeframe" inputs.
Signal Rules
A signal fires only when all of the following are true:
- Phase 1: price swept away from the 4H open by at least "Min Wick Size" ATRs
- Phase 2: price returned into the opening zone
- Breakout: the previous bar closed inside the zone, current bar closes outside it
- Buffer: signal is suppressed during the first N minutes after the 4H candle opens
- Cooldown: minimum time between signals (default 5 minutes)
- Entry Filter (optional): Volume spike or Last Candles trend confirmation
Entry Filter Options
- NA — no additional filter, signal fires on zone breakout alone
- Volume — requires the EMA5/EMA10 volume oscillator to exceed a set threshold
- Last Candles — all N bars before the zone touch must be trending in the signal direction (bearish approach for bull signal, bullish approach for bear signal)

The indicator includes a fully session-aware **Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)** plotted in purple. Two modes are available via the settings:

The script focuses on market structure context, liquidity-driven order block formation, optional volume information, and clean multi-timeframe visualization. Core Features
Primary Order Blocks
The primary order block engine can run on the chart timeframe or on a custom timeframe selected in the settings. Bullish and bearish zones are detected from confirmed swing structure and are filtered by size using an ATR-based threshold to avoid excessively large zones.
Secondary Timeframe Order Blocks
An optional secondary timeframe can be enabled to display another layer of order block context on the same chart. This is useful for combining lower-timeframe execution with higher-timeframe structure, or for comparing two separate intraday/session perspectives.
Primary zones use the default bullish/bearish colors, while secondary zones use a contrasting blue/yellow palette so the two timeframe layers are easy to distinguish at a glance.
Liquidity Sweep Requirement
The indicator includes an optional liquidity sweep filter. When enabled, a bullish order block requires a prior sell-side liquidity sweep, and a bearish order block requires a prior buy-side liquidity sweep. This helps focus the script on setups where price has first taken liquidity before forming an order block.
Volumetric Information
Volumetric display can be enabled to show the total volume associated with each order block and a relative high/low volume balance percentage. When enabled, internal volume bars are drawn inside the zone:
- Primary timeframe volume bars use the primary bullish/bearish colors.
- Secondary timeframe volume bars use the secondary blue/yellow colors.
- Historic or breaker zones are displayed with a faded appearance.
Zone Invalidation
Zones can be invalidated by either wick or close, depending on the selected setting. When a zone is invalidated, it can either be hidden or shown as a historic/breaker zone if Show Historic Zones is enabled.
Zone Count Control
Both the primary and secondary timeframe layers have independent zone count settings:
- One
- Low
- Medium
- High
Higher settings show more historical zones, while lower settings keep the chart cleaner and may improve responsiveness.
Optional Zone Combining
The script can optionally combine overlapping zones of the same effective direction and timeframe. This can help reduce clutter in dense areas of price action. Combining is disabled by default for better performance and a more transparent view of individual zones, but it can be enabled from the settings.
Discount / Premium Range
An optional Discount / Premium overlay can be enabled to display a dealing range based on recent swing highs and lows. The range includes premium, discount, and equilibrium levels, and can be calculated on the chart timeframe or a custom higher timeframe.
Swing Point Display
For additional context, the script can show confirmed swing highs and swing lows used by the order block detection logic.
Performance-Oriented Defaults
The default configuration is designed to keep the chart responsive:
- Historic zones are off by default.
- Volumetric information is off by default.
- Zone combining is off by default.
- Secondary timeframe display is off by default.
These features can all be enabled manually if you want more detail or broader context.
Suggested Usage
Use the primary timeframe for the main execution or analysis timeframe. Enable the secondary timeframe when you want to overlay higher-timeframe or alternate-timeframe order blocks. For example, a trader may use the chart timeframe for active entries and enable a higher secondary timeframe to identify broader reaction zones.
The liquidity sweep requirement can be useful for filtering out weaker order blocks and focusing on zones formed after a liquidity event. If you prefer more zones and broader structure, you can disable this requirement.
Important Notes
This script is an analytical tool and should not be used as a standalone trading system. Order blocks can fail, repainting-style expectations should be avoided, and zones should be interpreted alongside market structure, trend context, liquidity, session timing, and risk management.
The indicator is intended to help visualize potential areas of interest, not to provide buy or sell signals.

This indicator plots three fully customizable moving averages, each calculated from an independent timeframe of your choice. Instead of being limited to the timeframe of your chart, each MA pulls data directly from its assigned timeframe — giving you a layered view of trend across multiple time horizons simultaneously.
By default the three MAs are set to 15 minutes, 1 hour, and 4 hours, all using a 50-period SMA. This makes the indicator best suited for use on a 5-minute chart, where all three timeframes sit above your chart and give you a clear short, medium, and macro trend stack in a single view.

**Settings**
Each of the three MAs has its own independent group of controls:
- **Show MA** — Toggles the MA line on or off without removing it from the settings.
- **Show Label** — Toggles the end-of-line label that appears to the right of the last candle. The label displays the MA type, length, timeframe, and current value.
- **Length** — The number of candles used to calculate the MA, based on its assigned timeframe. Default is 50 for all three.
- **Timeframe** — The timeframe the MA is calculated from, regardless of what timeframe your chart is on. You can type any valid timeframe directly into this field.
- **Type** — The moving average algorithm. Choose from SMA, EMA, WMA, VWMA, RMA, or HMA.
- **Line Style** — Choose between Solid, Stepline, or Circles.

**How to Use**
Keep your chart timeframe at or below the lowest MA timeframe you have set. With the defaults of 15min, 1h, and 4h, running the indicator on a 5-minute chart gives you the most meaningful read. When all three MAs are stacked and sloping in the same direction, trend is aligned across all three timeframes — the highest conviction environment for a trade. When they are tangled or conflicting, the market is in an indecisive state and it is generally best to wait for clarity.

Dealing RangeDealing Range (DR) — Session Range Tracker
Automatically maps the full CME session range from 6:00 PM to 4:15 PM New York time, tracking the highest high and lowest low as the session develops in real time. DR.High and DR.Low expand bar by bar and freeze at session close, giving you a clean visual boundary of the day's full price delivery range.
Within that range, the indicator plots the 25%, 50%, and 75% equilibrium levels. The 50% acts as the session's premium/discount divide — price trading above it is in premium, below it is in discount. The 25% and 75% levels mark the first standard reaction zones within each half of the range, useful for anticipating where price may stall, reverse, or accelerate through.
At the open of each new session, the completed range is preserved as the Previous Dealing Range (PDR.High, PDR.Low) with its own set of percentage levels. These static reference lines carry forward as key context for the incoming session — particularly the PDR 50%, which frequently acts as a draw on liquidity or a decision point during the early hours of the new session.
All visual elements are independently configurable. Current DR boundaries, current DR levels, previous DR lines, and labels for both sessions can each be toggled, recolored, resized, and restyled without affecting one another.

Is this symbol aligned enough to trade, or should I wait?
The indicator combines 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1H, 4H, and 1D trend data on the active chart symbol, so you can see whether a short-term move is likely part of the bigger trend, a pullback, or a lower-quality conflict.
The Dashboard: Read It From Top To Bottom
ACTION - This is the first cell to read. It gives the current bias state: NO TRADE, WAIT, LONG WATCH, SHORT WATCH, LONG ONLY, SHORT ONLY, LONG BIAS, or SHORT BIAS.
WHY - Explains the main reason behind the action, such as H1/4H disagree, Low volatility, HTF risk, Strong bull confluence, or Bear regime only.
TF Rows - These are diagnostics for each timeframe. Use them to see which timeframe agrees or disagrees.
SESSION - Shows London, New York, London/New York overlap, Asia, or off-hours, plus the session multiplier.
How To Decide If It Is A Good Time To Enter
Start with ACTION .
If ACTION says NO TRADE , do not enter. The dashboard is blocking the setup.
If ACTION says WAIT , there is no clean edge yet.
If ACTION says LONG WATCH or SHORT WATCH , the intraday regime is starting to lean one way, but confluence is not strong enough yet.
If ACTION says LONG ONLY or SHORT ONLY , only look for your own setups in that direction. Do not chase immediately unless your execution plan confirms.
If ACTION says LONG BIAS or SHORT BIAS , confluence is strong in that direction, but entries are still discretionary.
Check WHY before entering. If it says H1/4H disagree, Low volatility, HTF risk, or No clean setup, the trade quality is weaker.
Use the 5m, 15m, 30m, and 1H rows to confirm your entry chart agrees with the active intraday direction.
Dashboard Terms
SCORE - A confluence score from -100 to +100. Positive favors long bias. Negative favors short bias.
H1+4H BULL - 1H and 4H are both bullish enough to prefer long setups.
H1+4H BEAR - 1H and 4H are both bearish enough to prefer short setups.
H1/4H CONFLICT - 1H and 4H disagree. In Aggressive and Balanced presets this is a context warning; in Conservative preset it blocks trades.
HTF RISK - The active intraday direction is fighting 4H or 1D context.
LIVE - Preview score from the currently forming candle. It can change before that timeframe closes.
ATR / EMA - Shows volatility condition and whether that timeframe's EMA stack is bullish, bearish, or mixed.
Chart Lines
The indicator can plot local and higher-timeframe moving averages. These are visual context lines, not automatic entry signals.
Local EMA 9 - Cyan. Fast current-chart momentum.
Local EMA 21 - Yellow. Short-term pullback/momentum guide.
Local EMA 50 - White. Current-chart trend guide.
1H EMA 50 - Orange. 1-hour dynamic support/resistance.
1H EMA 200 - Dark orange. Major 1-hour structure level.
4H EMA 50 - Magenta. 4-hour dynamic support/resistance.
4H EMA 200 - Purple. Major 4-hour structure level.
Practical use: if the dashboard is bearish and price bounces into a level you care about, such as a fib zone or moving average area, the dashboard helps confirm whether the broader intraday context still supports short-only thinking. The same applies in reverse for bullish pullbacks.
How The Trend Score Works
Each timeframe is scored using:
EMA stack alignment.
EMA slope normalized by ATR.
RSI regime and RSI direction.
Price location versus the EMA band.
VWAP location when available.
Volatility quality using ATR versus its baseline.
Bias Presets And Default Weighting
Aggressive - Prioritizes 5m, 15m, 30m, and 1H. 4H is light context.
Balanced - Default. Uses 15m, 30m, and 1H as the main intraday stack, with 4H as context.
Conservative - Requires stronger 1H/4H agreement and gives 4H more influence.
1D - Shown as regime context only. It is not part of the confluence weight.
Confirmed vs Live Preview
The main ACTION, WHY, SCORE, and alerts use confirmed multi-timeframe values to reduce repainting. The LIVE column is only an early preview and can change before the candle closes.
Session Weighting
London, New York, and the London/New York overlap receive higher confidence. Asia and off-hours receive lower confidence because intraday conditions can be less reliable.

The script follows a systematic hierarchy to determine the market state and trading bias:
1. Structural Raw Bias (HTF)
The primary direction is derived from the Higher Timeframe (HTF) market phases. If the structure is in an expansion or correction phase, it is assigned a directional value:
• Long (+1): Bullish Expansion or Bullish Correction.
• Short (-1): Bearish Expansion or Bearish Correction.
• Neutral (0): No clear structural phase.
2. EMA Regime Filter
To ensure trend alignment, a "Regime Lock" is applied. A structural bias is only validated as an Uptrend or Downtrend if the price remains on the correct side of the EMA. If the structural bias and EMA alignment contradict each other, the market is classified as Sideways.
3. Trading Bias & Risk Assessment
The final trading bias (Long/Short) is then cross-referenced with the current price range:
• Trend Continuation: If the HTF is trending and the market is not overextended, the bias follows the trend.
• Counter-Trend Awareness: If the HTF is "Extended ⚠️" (overheated) and the Lower Timeframe (LTF) shows a correction, the bias reflects a potential mean reversion or temporary shift.
• Sideways Handling: In sideways markets, the bias remains neutral unless specific range conditions are met.
