Most currency strength meters calculate strength from price change over X bars. This one works the other way around: you provide the input. It turns your own directional biases per pair into a ranked currency strength table.
How it works
Each pair bias is a pairwise comparison between two currencies:
EUR/NZD short → NZD is stronger than EUR
GBP/USD short → USD is stronger than GBP
For every bias you set, the stronger currency gets +1 and the weaker one −1. The table (top right of your chart) ranks all currencies from strongest to weakest, showing each currency's net score and the number of pairs it was compared in.
Usage
Open the settings and set a bias per pair: "Long" (base currency stronger), "Short" (quote currency stronger), or "—" (pair not included). All 28 major and cross pairs of the 8 major currencies (EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD, USD, CAD, CHF, JPY) are available. The more pairs you assess, the more reliable the ranking — with only a few biases, one wrong assessment can flip the order.
Why manual instead of automatic?
If your methodology is built on your own top-down analysis, an automatic strength meter measures something different from what you actually trade. This tool doesn't replace your analysis — it organizes it. It shows you the ranking that logically follows from your own pair assessments, so you can spot which pairs combine your strongest and weakest currencies, and check whether your biases are internally consistent.
Note: the ranking is only as good as the biases you feed it. This is an organizational tool, not a signal generator — always validate any pair against your own trading plan before taking a setup. Indicator

Price does not move randomly — it moves in sessions. Asia sets the range, London expands it, New York reverses or continues it. The highs and lows each session leaves behind become liquidity pools — resting stop orders that smart money targets. ◆ HOW IT WORKS
Every bar is assigned to a session from its own timestamp (no repainting from higher-timeframe data). The session's running high and low build the box in real time. When a new session opens, the previous session's extremes are locked in as liquidity levels. A liquidity sweep is flagged only when price trades beyond a prior session's high/low and then closes back inside it — a genuine rejection — so a clean break straight through does not trigger a false signal. This keeps the chart clean and every sweep meaningful.
◆ HOW TO USE IT
Trade the killzones. The London and New York opens produce the biggest, cleanest moves — focus your entries there.
Use prior session highs/lows as targets. Untapped levels act as magnets; price often runs them before reversing.
Fade or follow sweeps. When a sweep prints, the raid has taken liquidity — fade it back into range, or trade the reversal in the opposite direction.
Read the dashboard for context. Know which session is active and which had the widest range before you commit.
Set your times/timezone. Adjust each session's hours and the timezone in the settings to match your market and broker.
Combine with your own market structure, order blocks or bias for higher-probability confluence.

Sessions are an intraday concept — use a 1m to 4h timeframe. On daily or higher the panel shows a reminder and no sessions are drawn.
Default session times are in GMT; set the timezone and hours to match your instrument and broker feed, as session boundaries vary by symbol.
A liquidity sweep shows that a level was raided and rejected — it is context and confluence, not a standalone buy/sell signal.
Session ranges reflect the data of your chart's feed; different brokers can differ slightly.

The core idea behind SMT Sniper Entry Engine is that two markets with a meaningful positive relationship do not always take corresponding liquidity at the same time.
When one market trades beyond a prior liquidity reference while the other market holds its own reference, the difference can create an SMT divergence.
However, the divergence alone contains limited information.
A basic SMT event does not automatically explain:
• whether the sweep was meaningful relative to volatility
• whether the sweeping market reclaimed the reference
• whether the chart candle closed with directional rejection
• whether the candle range expanded enough to matter
• whether the selected markets remain sufficiently correlated
• whether the event occurred near a useful external-range location
• whether the non-sweeping market clearly held its own level
• whether price produced directional displacement afterward
• whether the SMT candle was actually broken
• whether an FVG or micro-structure break confirmed the reaction
• whether the setup remained valid during the confirmation window
• whether another recent final signal is still inside the cooldown period
The engine therefore uses a staged sequence:

The engine accepts a sweep from either market.
The sweeping market must reclaim the prior-low reference when reclaim validation is active.
The completed chart candle must also satisfy the active quality requirements.
The default Sniper profile evaluates:
• sufficient ATR-normalized sweep depth
• bullish chart-candle direction
• a close in the stronger portion of the candle
• minimum candle-range expansion
• minimum Base Quality Score
• minimum positive pair correlation
• location near the lower portion of the external range

Strong Supertrend Engine | ProjectSyndicateStrong Supertrend Engine maps the session around a Supertrend trend-stop and power-ranks the with-trend zones where price is most likely to continue, not reverse. Every session it reads one decision from the prior completed session's daily Supertrend — is the session open above the Supertrend a green, buy-only regime or below it a red, sell-only regime — and then projects an ATR-scaled ladder of reaction zones around the session open. On top of the zones it draws the session's best continuation setups as zone-to-zone arrows: in a green regime it points up from a pullback zone to a target zone; in a red regime it points down from a rally zone to a target below. The whole tool runs on one idea: trade dips with the trend, not against it — buy dips into support while the Supertrend is green, sell rips into resistance while it is red, and favor the stronger-graded zones.

This is the engine's core long thesis. The session open is above the green Supertrend, so the regime is BUY-ONLY and buy arrows point up from the dip zones toward higher targets.
▪️ Setup: wait for price to pull back / dip into a support zone below the open — prefer the stronger-graded zones higher score / more stars, ideally one a buy arrow points up out of, with Laguerre momentum up.
▪️ Entry: long on the dip into the zone, in the direction of the green regime the with-trend bounce.
▪️ Stop: below the entry zone — one tier deeper — with the green core Supertrend stop as the hard invalidation. A decisive close below the green ST flips the regime; the long thesis is then wrong, stand aside.

• Optionally accepts the event immediately through Early Trigger mode.
• Optionally arms the setup and waits for renewed momentum through Momentum Confirmed mode.
• Measures momentum alignment, histogram strength, histogram expansion, MACD slope, and acceleration.
• Produces separate bullish and bearish 0–100 Momentum Quality Scores.
• Measures market regime using ADX, directional efficiency, EMA separation, and volatility expansion.
• Produces a separate 0–100 Market Regime Score.
• Evaluates candle direction, body quality, close location, MACD separation, persistence, and price impulse.
• Produces separate bullish and bearish Entry Qualification Scores.

The script is a rule-based educational momentum framework that explains how a raw MACD event becomes an accepted or rejected setup.

🧠 CORE IDEA
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The core idea behind MACD Momentum Entry Engine is that a crossover alone contains limited context.
A basic crossover only confirms that one MACD line has moved through another.
It does not automatically explain:
• whether the histogram is expanding
• whether momentum is accelerating
• whether the move is occurring in a directional or choppy market
• whether the signal candle supports the direction
• whether MACD separation is meaningful relative to recent behavior
• whether momentum has persisted
• whether price is aligned with an optional trend filter
• whether a recent signal already occurred
• whether a visual trade model is already active
The engine therefore uses a staged sequence:
MACD event
→ setup classification
→ momentum-quality scoring
→ optional trend-bias validation
→ anti-chop regime scoring
→ entry qualification
→ additional signal filters
→ confirmed signal
→ visual trade model
→ TP / SL lifecycle
→ result handling
For bullish conditions, the script studies upward MACD transitions, positive histogram alignment, renewed expansion, positive slope, positive acceleration, bullish candle behavior, and directional persistence.
For bearish conditions, the same process is mirrored.
The purpose is not to find the largest possible number of signals.
The purpose is to make the acceptance process visible, configurable, and understandable.

🧩 WHY THIS SCRIPT IS NOT A SIMPLE BUY/SELL INDICATOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
MACD Momentum Entry Engine is not designed to be used as a blind buy/sell system.
A raw MACD event must move through multiple stages:
A crossover or momentum event appears
→ the event is classified
→ the momentum-quality layer is evaluated
→ the trend-bias layer is evaluated
→ the anti-chop layer is evaluated
→ the candle and entry-quality layer is evaluated
→ zero-line and absolute-strength filters are checked
→ cooldown and active-trade restrictions are checked
→ the setup must remain valid at candle close
→ a permanent LONG or SHORT setup is printed
→ Entry, SL, TP1, TP2, and TP3 are projected
→ the trade model is monitored from the following candle
→ the model closes at TP3 or Stop
→ the final chart result is preserved or cleaned
Each module serves a different purpose.
The MACD core defines the momentum relationship.
The setup engine identifies what kind of event occurred.
The momentum-quality engine measures the internal strength of that event.
The anti-chop engine measures whether the broader environment is directional enough for the selected mode.
The entry-qualification engine evaluates the signal candle and immediate price response.
The trend-bias engine optionally restricts direction.
The trade engine standardizes the visual risk framework.
The dashboard explains the current engine state.
This makes the script a coordinated momentum-analysis workflow rather than a basic crossover marker.

⚙️ HOW THE SCRIPT WORKS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The script operates through connected calculation stages.
First, it calculates every supported moving-average type on every candle.
The selected average type is then used for the fast MACD average, slow MACD average, and signal average.
The MACD line is the difference between the selected fast and slow averages.
The histogram is the difference between the MACD line and the signal line.

The histogram visual multiplier changes only the displayed column length.
It does not change:
• the MACD line
• the signal line
• the histogram used by calculations
• quality scores
• setup detection
• trade results
After the MACD core is calculated, the engine measures:
• absolute histogram strength
• one-bar histogram expansion
• MACD slope
• momentum acceleration
• adaptive baselines for each measurement
The setup engine then checks the enabled event types.
The quality, trend, regime, qualification, and additional-filter stages determine whether the setup is eligible.
A final permanent signal is accepted only after the candle closes and every enabled condition remains valid.

🟢 BULLISH MACD MOMENTUM LOGIC

A bullish setup begins with one of four enabled event types.
Bullish Reversal
A bullish MACD crossover occurs while the MACD line remains below zero.
This represents a momentum turn from the negative side of the zero line.
Bullish Continuation
A bullish MACD crossover occurs while the MACD line is at or above zero.
This represents renewed bullish alignment on the positive side.
Bullish Zero-Line Reclaim
The MACD line crosses above zero while:
• MACD is above the signal line
• the histogram is positive
• the bar is confirmed
Bullish Momentum Expansion
The histogram resumes positive expansion after a short contraction while:
• MACD remains above the signal line
• MACD slope is positive
• no new crossover is being used on the same bar
• no new zero-line cross is being used on the same bar
The event must then pass the active momentum-quality requirement.
When enabled, it must also pass:
• chart EMA bias
• confirmed higher-timeframe EMA bias
• EMA slope confirmation
• ATR distance from the trend EMA
• anti-chop regime requirement

This confirms that the configured bullish momentum conditions were valid at candle close.
It does not mean price must continue upward.

Bearish Reversal
A bearish MACD crossover occurs while the MACD line remains above zero.
This represents a momentum turn from the positive side of the zero line.
Bearish Continuation
A bearish MACD crossover occurs while the MACD line is at or below zero.
This represents renewed bearish alignment on the negative side.
Bearish Zero-Line Reclaim
The MACD line crosses below zero while:
• MACD is below the signal line
• the histogram is negative
• the bar is confirmed
Bearish Momentum Expansion
The histogram resumes negative expansion after a short contraction while:
• MACD remains below the signal line
• MACD slope is negative
• no new bearish crossover is being used on the same bar
• no new bearish zero-line cross is being used on the same bar
The setup must then pass the same quality, trend, regime, candle, separation, persistence, strength, cooldown, and trade-slot controls.
A permanent SHORT signal appears only when all active conditions remain valid at candle close.
The script can then display:
• a neon red dot on the MACD line
• a SHORT label on the main chart
• setup type, grade, and score information
• Entry, SL, TP1, TP2, and TP3 references
This confirms that the configured bearish momentum conditions were valid at candle close.
It does not guarantee continued downside movement.

💎 MACD MOMENTUM QUALITY FILTER SYSTEM

The script includes a separate bullish and bearish Momentum Quality Score.
The quality layer evaluates five components.
Alignment — maximum 20 points
Bullish alignment requires:
• MACD above the signal line
• positive histogram
Bearish alignment requires:
• MACD below the signal line
• negative histogram
Histogram Strength — maximum 25 points
The absolute histogram value is compared with an adaptive EMA baseline.
This measures whether current separation is meaningful relative to recent MACD behavior.
Histogram Expansion — maximum 20 points
The engine measures the one-bar change in absolute histogram strength.
Points are awarded only when the histogram is expanding in the setup direction.
MACD Slope — maximum 20 points
Bullish setups require positive slope for this component.
Bearish setups require negative slope.
The slope magnitude is compared with its own adaptive baseline.
Momentum Acceleration — maximum 15 points
Acceleration measures the change in MACD slope.
Positive acceleration supports bullish scoring.
Negative acceleration supports bearish scoring.

The score is not a win rate.
It is not a probability.
It measures how closely the current MACD event matches the engine’s momentum-strength framework.

📏 VOLATILITY / ATR NORMALIZATION FILTER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The indicator uses ATR normalization to compare certain values across changing volatility conditions.
The Absolute Strength Filter calculates:
Absolute Histogram Strength = |Histogram| / ATR × 100.
This value is used as an additional minimum-strength condition.
The default settings are:
• Normalization ATR Length: 14
• Minimum Absolute Strength: 1.0
• Use Absolute Strength Filter: enabled
ATR normalization helps reduce dependence on the raw numerical scale of a market.
For example, a raw MACD histogram value cannot be compared directly across instruments with very different prices and volatility.
Normalization places the histogram in relation to the instrument’s recent ATR.
The same ATR framework is also used by:
• optional price-to-EMA trend buffers
• EMA-separation regime measurement
• price-impulse scoring
• ATR-based trade management
ATR normalization does not make one configuration universal.
Symbols, sessions, exchanges, and data feeds can still behave differently.

🕯️ DISPLACEMENT QUALITY FILTER

The entry-qualification engine evaluates whether the signal candle shows enough directional response.
The Candle component contributes up to 25 points.
It is divided into:
Directional Body — maximum 12.5 points
For bullish setups, the engine measures the positive candle body relative to the full candle range.
For bearish setups, it measures the negative body.
Close Location — maximum 12.5 points
Bullish setups receive more points when the close is nearer the candle high.
Bearish setups receive more points when the close is nearer the candle low.
Price Impulse contributes up to 15 additional points.
The engine compares the one-bar directional price movement with ATR.
A bullish price impulse measures positive close-to-close displacement.
A bearish price impulse measures negative close-to-close displacement.
This layer does not predict the next candle.
It measures whether the completed signal candle supports the direction of the MACD event.

📊 REACTION STRENGTH FILTER

The engine includes a separate Entry Qualification Score.
Its components are:
Candle Quality — maximum 25 points
Combines directional body and close location.
MACD Separation — maximum 25 points
Measures current histogram separation relative to its adaptive baseline.
Momentum Persistence — maximum 20 points
Measures how long directional MACD and histogram alignment has remained active.
Price Impulse — maximum 15 points
Measures directional close-to-close movement relative to ATR.
Trigger Context — maximum 15 points
Confirms that an eligible setup event is currently active.
The total is limited to 0–100.
Available modes are:
Off
Removes the minimum Entry Qualification Score restriction.
Loose
Requires a minimum score of 45.
Balanced
Requires a minimum score of 60.
Strict
Requires a minimum score of 75 and is the default.
The final signal also uses internal candle-direction, separation, and persistence requirements.
These internal parameters remain active in the background to keep the public settings menu cleaner.
The Entry Qualification Score is not a verified accuracy figure.
It describes the quality of the completed entry context according to the script’s rules.

Permanent LONG and SHORT signals wait for candle close.
The engine uses confirmed-bar checks on:
• MACD crossovers
• zero-line crossings
• expansion triggers
• momentum confirmation
• final LONG and SHORT conditions
The higher-timeframe trend layer also uses previous completed higher-timeframe values.

This approach prevents an unfinished higher-timeframe candle from becoming the permanent trend reference.
Entry Timing provides two workflows.
Early Trigger
Uses the confirmed setup event directly.
Momentum Confirmed
Arms the setup and waits for a later confirmed candle with:
• continued MACD alignment
• directional histogram
• renewed histogram expansion
• directional MACD slope
The confirmation opportunity is temporary.
If renewed momentum does not appear inside the internal window, the armed setup expires.
The script does not plot final signals into earlier candles.
Historical results can still change when:
• settings change
• symbol data changes
• timeframe changes
• the data provider revises history
• the available chart-history range changes

The Entry reference is the close of the confirmed signal candle.

The indicator includes two risk models.
ATR Based
Stop distance is calculated as:
ATR × ATR Stop Multiplier.
The default settings are:
• ATR Length: 14
• ATR Stop Multiplier: 1.50
• TP1: 0.50R
• TP2: 1.00R
• TP3: 1.50R
The minimum distance is protected by the symbol’s minimum tick.
XAUUSD Fixed Pips
Stop and target distances use:
Selected Pips × XAUUSD Pip Size.
The default settings are:
• Pip Size: 0.01
• Stop Loss: 1000 pips
• TP1: 500 pips
• TP2: 1000 pips
• TP3: 1500 pips
Under the common 0.01 convention, those values correspond to:
• Stop distance: 10.00 price units
• TP1 distance: 5.00 price units
• TP2 distance: 10.00 price units
• TP3 distance: 15.00 price units
Broker conventions can differ.
Users should verify their symbol specification before relying on fixed-pip distances.
The XAUUSD protection system checks the symbol.
The dashboard shows:
• ✅ XAUUSD VERIFIED when XAUUSD Fixed Pips is used on a recognized XAUUSD symbol
• ⚠️ CHECK SYMBOL when the mode is used on another symbol
• 🛡️ ATR MODE when ATR Based is selected
The warning does not block calculations.
It tells the user to verify pip size and target distances.

🎯 TAKE-PROFIT RR MODEL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The visual model contains three take-profit levels.
ATR Based mode calculates targets from the initial stop distance:
TP1 Distance = Initial Risk × TP1 RR.
TP2 Distance = Initial Risk × TP2 RR.
TP3 Distance = Initial Risk × TP3 RR.
XAUUSD Fixed Pips mode uses independent fixed target distances.
The script enforces the following order:
TP1 < TP2 < TP3.
If a selected value would violate that order, the next target is moved at least one minimum tick beyond the prior target.
The trade model internally treats the position as three equal portions.
Each target represents one-third of the model.
If Stop is reached after TP1 or TP2, the script calculates an internal net-R result from:
• the portions already modeled as closed at reached targets
• the remaining portion or portions modeled at Stop
This internal calculation supports Data Window counters.
It is not broker-verified performance.
It does not account for:
• spread
• commission
• slippage
• latency
• partial-fill differences
• financing
• order rejection
• execution venue behavior

📦 ACTIVE TP / SL BOX SYSTEM

When a confirmed trade model opens, the script can draw on the main chart:
• Entry line
• TP1 line
• TP2 line
• TP3 line
• Stop Loss line
• TP1 reward box
• TP2 reward box
• TP3 reward box
• SL risk box
• LONG or SHORT label
The Entry line is white.
The TP lines are green and initially dashed.
The SL line is red and solid.
The SL box uses a solid border.
When a target is reached:
• the corresponding box becomes more visible
• the corresponding target line becomes solid
• the target line becomes thicker
• the dynamic target alert can fire
When TP3 is reached:
• the complete model closes
• the original LONG or SHORT label remains
• a separate electric-purple TP3 FULL TARGET label appears
• the trade model can remain historically visible
When the model closes at Stop before TP3:
• all active boxes are deleted
• all active trade lines are deleted
• the original LONG or SHORT label is converted into the final result
• the final result becomes SL, CLOSED TP1, or CLOSED TP2
Only TP3 outcomes can retain completed historical boxes and lines.
This is a chart-cleanliness decision.
It does not imply that other outcomes did not occur.

🚦 ONE ACTIVE TRADE AT A TIME
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The script uses one-active-trade-at-a-time visual management.
When the trade engine is enabled:
• a new trade model cannot open while another model is active
• a new trade cannot open on the same candle that closed the previous model
• the internal setup engine continues calculating
• permanent signals are restricted by trade-slot availability
This prevents overlapping Entry, TP, and SL structures.
It also keeps the trade lifecycle easier to interpret.
When the trade engine is disabled, qualified signals can still be evaluated without opening a visual trade model.
The one-active-model rule is a visual and analytical design choice.
It does not restrict the user’s personal trading activity.

⚠️ SAME-CANDLE TP / SL HANDLING
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Trade monitoring begins after the entry candle.
If a later historical candle touches both Stop and one or more targets, standard OHLC data does not reveal the exact intrabar sequence.
The indicator therefore provides two assumptions.
Stop First
If Stop and a target are both touched on the same candle, Stop is processed first.
This is the default and more conservative assumption.
Targets First
Reached targets are processed before Stop.
If TP3 is reached, the model closes at TP3.
Otherwise, remaining portions can close at Stop.
Neither mode reconstructs tick-level execution.
The indicator does not know:
• whether the high occurred before the low
• the bid/ask path
• actual fill sequence
• spread at the time
• slippage
• queue priority
• partial fills
The selected same-bar rule is a modeling assumption required by the limits of OHLC candles.

The indicator operates in a separate MACD pane while selected trade visuals, entry labels, and the dashboard are forced onto the main price chart.
The MACD pane can display:
MACD Line
A white line representing the difference between the selected fast and slow averages.
Signal Line
A red line representing the selected signal smoothing.
Histogram
Color changes communicate momentum condition:
• stronger green for bullish expansion
• softer green for bullish contraction
• stronger red for bearish expansion
• softer red for bearish contraction
Histogram Visual Length
The default multiplier is 1.60.
This changes visual column length only.
It does not affect calculations.
Neon Signal Dots
Qualified LONG setups produce a neon green glow and center dot on the MACD line.
Qualified SHORT setups produce a neon red glow and center dot.
Momentum Background
The pane background changes according to strong or weak bullish and bearish momentum states.
Anti-Chop Background
A neutral gray background can identify conditions blocked by the Anti-Chop Engine.
Each major visual element can be shown or hidden independently.

🧹 SETUP INVALIDATION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Not every raw MACD event remains eligible.
A setup can be rejected or expire because:
• its momentum score is below the selected threshold
• trend bias does not permit the direction
• the market regime is below the active Anti-Chop threshold
• the Entry Qualification Score is insufficient
• candle direction does not support the setup

Adaptive multiplier: ATR is ranked by percentile over a lookback window; the percentile sets the SuperTrend multiplier between your min and max.

This is a trend/volatility tool, not a complete system — always confirm with price action and risk management.

Every major directional move in every liquid market is preceded by a period of compression. Price range contracts. Volume dries up. Volatility percentile falls toward historic lows. The Bollinger Bands compress inside the Keltner Channels. Narrow range bars form consecutively. This compression is not random — it is the mechanism by which institutional positions are accumulated quietly, without moving price, before the delivery move begins.
Most traders see this compression phase as boring or unreadable and look elsewhere for setups. CATALYST is built on the opposite premise: the compression phase is the most important and readable phase of the entire price cycle . The depth of the compression tells you how much energy is coiling. The directional bias during the compression tells you where that energy is most likely to be released. The higher timeframe alignment tells you whether that release is likely to be with or against the macro institutional flow.
By the time the breakout candle is obvious to everyone, CATALYST has already been tracking the setup for multiple bars — measuring compression depth, monitoring accumulation bias, and computing the ignition probability score in real time. When ignition fires, it fires with advance conviction — not reactive confirmation.

⚙ The 6-Stage Regime State Machine
CATALYST is built around a deterministic 6-stage regime cycle that every market passes through on every timeframe. Understanding the regime is the foundation of using CATALYST correctly — the dashboard, background colors, and regime flip labels all communicate exactly which stage the market is in at every bar.
Stage 0 — QUIET
The market is dormant. No significant compression is building (score below 35). Volatility is neither low nor building toward a setup. This is the baseline state — the market is between cycles. Gray background tint. No actionable context.
Stage 1 — BUILDING
Compression is beginning to develop (score between 35 and 75). One or more compression signals are present — the squeeze may be turning on, narrow range bars may be forming, volume may be beginning to dry. The coil is winding up. Orange background tint intensifies slightly. The bias vector label appears on the current coil box to indicate which direction accumulation is occurring.
Stage 2 — COILED
Maximum compression state (score 75+, full BB/KC squeeze active). The spring is fully wound. Energy is at maximum concentration. This is the highest pre-ignition alert state. Deeper orange background tint. The coil box is rendered with higher opacity. The COILED flip label appears on the chart. Dashboard shows COMPRESS at 75%+ and SQUEEZE ON. This is the state you watch most closely — ignition can occur at any bar from here.
Stage 3 — IGNITION
A single-bar flash state. The regime transitions through IGNITION on the bar where all ignition conditions are simultaneously met — compression deep enough, bias directional enough, expansion candle large enough, ATR expanding. The cyan background tint and IGNITION flip label mark this bar. The IGNITE signal label fires on this bar. This is the entry bar. Immediately transitions to TRENDING on the next bar.
Stage 4 — TRENDING
The expansion phase. Price is in directional delivery. The regime holds TRENDING until one of the exhaustion conditions fires: RSI reaching extreme levels with climax volume, a significant wick rejection candle in the trend direction, a squeeze reforming during the trend (stall), or a reversal candle closing through the 21 EMA. Yellow-green tint during bull expansion, red tint during bear expansion.
Stage 5 — EXHAUSTION
The expansion energy is spent. One of the exhaustion conditions has triggered. Purple diamond markers appear above or below price. This is the early warning that the trend leg is ending — not necessarily the trend itself, but the current momentum leg. After EXHAUSTION, the regime resets: if compression begins building again, it cycles back to BUILDING; if not, it returns to QUIET and the cycle begins again.
Why the state machine matters: Every signal in CATALYST is regime-gated. Ignition signals can only fire from the COILED state. Exhaustion warnings can only fire from the TRENDING state. This ensures signals are always contextually appropriate — you cannot get an ignition signal without prior compression, and you cannot get an exhaustion warning without a prior trend.

📉 The Compression Score Engine — Measuring the Coil
The compression score is a 0–100 composite reading that quantifies exactly how tightly the market is coiling at any given bar. It is the primary input to the regime state machine and is displayed live on the dashboard.
Six compression components and their weights:
Squeeze State (up to 30 points):
The BB/KC squeeze is the most powerful single compression signal. When Bollinger Bands are fully inside Keltner Channels, the market is at maximum volatility contraction — 30 points. If the squeeze fired on the previous bar (just released), 15 points are still awarded, capturing the residual compression energy at the moment of release.
Narrow Range Pattern — NR (up to 20 points):
The current bar's high-low range is measured against the lowest range over the lookback period (default: 7 bars). When the current bar has the narrowest range in the lookback window, 20 points are awarded. This is the NR7 pattern generalized to a configurable lookback — the classic volatility contraction signal.
NR Streak (up to 15 points):
Consecutive narrow range bars amplify the coil energy. When the NR count over the minimum coil duration reaches the threshold, 15 additional points are awarded. Multiple consecutive NR bars indicate the market has been compressing for a sustained period — a deeper, more energetic coil.
Volume Dry-Up (up to 15 points):
Current volume below the configurable fraction of its moving average (default: 65% of the 20-bar SMA) confirms institutional accumulation is occurring quietly — institutions are building positions without creating visible volume signals. 15 points awarded when volume is dry.
Volume Dry Streak (up to 10 points):
Multiple consecutive bars of volume dry-up, identical logic to the NR streak. Sustained low volume over multiple bars is a stronger coil signal than a single dry bar.
ATR Percentile Rank (up to 10 points):
The current ATR is ranked against its own history over the configurable lookback (default: 100 bars). When ATR is in the bottom 25th percentile of its historical range — meaning volatility is at a historic low for this instrument on this timeframe — 10 points are awarded. Below the 40th percentile scores 5 points. This ensures the compression is genuine historically, not just temporarily quiet in an already volatile market.
Reading the score:
0–35 — QUIET, no meaningful compression building
35–55 — BUILDING, compression developing but not yet actionable
55–74 — COILING, significant compression present
75–100 — FULLY COILED, maximum compression, squeeze active. Ignition-ready state

🧭 The Bias Vector — Who Is Accumulating During the Coil?
Compression tells you the market is coiling. The Bias Vector tells you which direction institutions are accumulating during that coil. A range of -100 (fully bearish) to +100 (fully bullish), the bias vector is a composite of five independent directional pressure readings — each measuring accumulation from a different angle.
Volume Delta (up to ±25 points):
The estimated directional volume pressure — bull volume EMA minus bear volume EMA — forms the primary bias input. When delta is positive and rising (buyers accelerating), 25 points are added. When delta is positive but not accelerating, 10 points. The inverse applies for bear delta. This is the most direct measure of whether buyers or sellers are winning the quiet accumulation battle during compression.
Close-Position Bias (up to ±20 points):
Where closes fall within each bar's high-low range, averaged over the lookback period (default: 10 bars). When the average close position is in the upper 55%+ of the range — candles are consistently closing near their highs — buyers are controlling the candle closes. ±20 points based on whether the close bias is bullish (above 0.55) or bearish (below 0.45). This is a subtle but powerful measure of who is controlling the close during the coil.
Micro Structure (up to ±20 points):
Higher highs or higher lows over the structure lookback (default: 20 bars) vote bullish. Lower lows or lower highs vote bearish. ±20 points. Micro structure during compression tells you whether the coil is forming as a higher low (bullish coil) or a lower high (bearish coil) — the internal structure of the compression box reveals directional intent.
HTF Bias (up to ±20 points):
The higher timeframe EMA alignment (default: 60-minute, 50-period EMA). When HTF close is above the HTF EMA — the macro trend is bullish — +20 points. When below, -20 points. When Require HTF Alignment is disabled, this component is neutral. The HTF bias ensures the coil's directional reading is contextualized against the macro institutional flow.
Price vs BB Basis (up to ±15 points):
Whether the current close is above or below the BB basis (Bollinger Band midline). Price above the basis during compression means the coil is forming above fair value — a mild bullish signal. Price below the basis is mildly bearish. ±15 points. This adds a relative positioning dimension to the bias.
Reading the bias vector:
+35 to +100 — bull bias. Buyers are accumulating during the coil. Long ignition is favored
-35 to -100 — bear bias. Sellers are distributing during the coil. Short ignition is favored
-34 to +34 — neutral bias. No clear directional accumulation. Ignition may fire in either direction — lower conviction
Bias Arrow:
During BUILDING and COILED regime stages, a live bias arrow label appears below (bull bias) or above (bear bias) the coil box on the current bar, showing the directional score in real time. As new bars form, the arrow updates continuously — you can watch the bias building or shifting during the coil.

🔥 The Ignition Score — 0 to 100 Probability Gate
Every bar in the COILED regime, CATALYST computes two separate ignition scores — one for long ignition, one for short. These scores gate whether a signal fires. Only when the score meets the configured minimum threshold (default: 62) does a signal become eligible.
Long ignition score components:
Compression depth (up to 20 points) — fully coiled scores 20, isCoiling scores 10, moderate compression scores 10
Squeeze state (up to 20 points) — squeeze release scores 20 (maximum — the spring just released), squeeze still active scores 10
Bias vector alignment (up to 25 points) — bias above +50 scores 25, above +35 scores 15, below 0 deducts 15
HTF alignment (up to 15 points) — HTF bullish scores 15, disabled scores 15 (neutral)
Expansion candle quality (up to 15 points) — strong bull body above ATR threshold scores 15, any bullish close scores 8
ATR expansion (up to 5 points) — ATR expanding above its short-term average confirms the coil is releasing
Volume delta confirmation (up to 10 points) — accelerating buy delta scores 10, positive delta scores 5
The short ignition score mirrors this structure with all conditions inverted.
What the score thresholds mean in practice:
90–100 — near-perfect setup. All components aligned. Extremely rare
75–89 — elite setup. Multiple high-weight components confirmed simultaneously
62–74 (default threshold) — high-quality setup. Sufficient confirmation to fire
50–61 — moderate quality. Available if you lower the threshold, but carries more false signals
Below 50 — low-quality ignition conditions. System will not fire at any reasonable threshold setting
The live long and short scores are displayed in real time on the dashboard as IGNITE L and IGNITE S — color-coded yellow-green or red when they meet the threshold, neutral otherwise. You can watch the ignition score building toward threshold in real time during the coil phase.

⚡ The Ignition Signal — IGNITE Entry
The IGNITE label is CATALYST's primary entry signal. It fires when all of the following conditions are simultaneously confirmed on a bar close:
Hard requirements (all must be true):
Regime is in COILED state (compression score 75+, squeeze active)
The expansion candle body meets or exceeds the configured minimum (default: 1.15× ATR) — the breakout candle is large and directional
The bias vector is aligned with the signal direction (+35 or higher for long, -35 or lower for short)
ATR is actively expanding above its short-term average — the volatility expansion has begun
Squeeze has released on this bar or was releasing on the previous bar (when Require Squeeze Release is enabled)
Ignition score meets the minimum threshold (default: 62)
Session filter is satisfied (when enabled)
Signal cooldown has elapsed since the last signal
Signal label: A large IGNITE label appears below the bar (long) or above (short) on the exact ignition bar. Yellow-green for long, red for short.
Why this is fundamentally different from a standard breakout signal: A standard breakout indicator fires when price closes above a resistance level or a band. It reacts to what has already happened. CATALYST fires on the ignition bar only after verifying that the preceding compression was deep enough (COILED regime), that the directional bias during the coil was confirmed (bias vector), that the breakout candle itself is sufficiently large (body ATR check), and that the volatility is genuinely expanding (ATR expansion). Every component addresses a specific failure mode of basic breakout trading — false breakouts, weak breakouts, counter-HTF breakouts, and low-compression breakouts are all filtered before the signal fires.

🔮 The Compression Coil Box
When the compression score crosses 55 and the BUILDING regime begins, CATALYST draws a live Coil Box — an orange-tinted rectangle spanning the high-low range of the entire compression period from the first coiling bar to the current bar.
What the coil box represents: The coil box is the visual representation of the spring being wound. Every bar that the coil remains active, the box extends to the right and expands to incorporate the new bar's range. The box's height represents the total price range of the compression period — the tighter this range, the more compressed the energy.
Box opacity: The box becomes more opaque when the compression reaches the fully COILED state (score 75+, squeeze active). This visual intensity progression gives you an immediate sense of compression depth — a faint box means early-stage building, a deep orange box means maximum coil.
Box on ignition: When ignition fires, the box remains on the chart at the coil range, giving you a clear visual reference for the compression zone that preceded the move. The coil box range is also used for structural stop loss placement — the SL Beyond Coil Box Edge setting places the stop loss beyond the coil box boundary rather than a fixed ATR distance from entry.
Box cleanup: When the regime returns to QUIET (compression fully dissipated without ignition), the box is deleted. When ignition occurs, the box is retained as a reference.

⚠ Exhaustion Radar — Early Warning System
The Exhaustion Radar monitors the TRENDING regime for signs that the expansion energy is being spent. When exhaustion conditions are met, purple diamond markers appear above (bull trend exhaustion) or below (bear trend exhaustion) the bar — a warning that the current momentum leg is likely approaching its end.
Exhaustion conditions (any one is sufficient):
RSI climax with volume spike — RSI above the overbought threshold (default: 72) in a bull trend with volume exceeding the configured climax multiple (default: 2.2×). This combination of extreme RSI and high volume is the classic climax top pattern — buyers are exhausting their buying capacity simultaneously
RSI climax with volume spike (bear) — RSI below the oversold threshold (default: 28) with climax volume in a bear trend. Sellers exhausting
Wick rejection in trend direction — a bar with a rejection wick exceeding the configured minimum percentage (default: 55%) in the direction of the trend. A bull trend bar with a massive upper wick indicates aggressive selling into the highs — supply overwhelming demand at the extreme
Trend stall squeeze — when a squeeze (BB inside KC) forms during the trending phase while volume is also drying up. This indicates the expansion move has stalled into a new compression without resolution — energy is being absorbed rather than continuing
Reversal candle through 21 EMA — a strong opposing candle that closes through the 21-period EMA in the trend direction. In a bull trend, a strong bearish close through the 21 EMA indicates the trend's immediate momentum structure has been broken
How to use exhaustion signals: Exhaustion diamonds are not reversal signals. They indicate that the current momentum leg is likely complete — not that the trend has ended. Use them to take partial or full profit on trend trades, tighten trailing stops, or wait for the next CATALYST compression cycle to develop before re-entering.

🎯 Coil-Anchored Risk Guidance System
On every IGNITE signal, CATALYST draws forward-projecting risk guidance levels for the duration of the trade.
Stop Loss (SL):
When SL Beyond Coil Box Edge is enabled (default: on), the stop is placed beyond the coil box boundary — below the coil box low (long) or above the coil box high (short) — plus a small ATR buffer. The coil box represents the full compression range: if price returns into and through the opposite side of the coil box after ignition, the breakout has failed and the setup is invalidated. This gives the stop structural meaning beyond just an ATR distance. When the coil SL is less conservative than the fixed ATR SL, the system uses whichever is further from entry to ensure adequate protection.
TP1 — First Target:
2.0× ATR from the entry close (configurable). The initial partial profit target. At TP1, consider scaling out 50% of the position.
TP2 — Extended Target:
4.0× ATR from entry (configurable). The full expansion target for the remaining position — allowing the trailing stop or regime-based exit (exhaustion signal) to manage the remainder.

Step 1 — Monitor the Regime
Check the dashboard REGIME row. If it shows QUIET, nothing actionable is developing. If it shows BUILDING, a compression cycle is beginning — start paying attention
Watch COMPRESS build toward 75+. When SQUEEZE shows ON simultaneously, the market is in maximum coil state. This is your highest-alert pre-signal phase
Note the Coil Box forming and narrowing on the chart. The tighter the box, the more energy compressed inside
Step 2 — Assess the Bias During the Coil
Watch the Bias Arrow label near the coil box. Is it showing ▲ BIAS or ▼ BIAS? A strong positive bias (+50 or above) during a tight coil is the strongest possible pre-ignition setup
Check HTF BIAS on the dashboard — does it confirm the bias arrow direction? HTF alignment is worth 15 ignition score points and significantly increases the probability of a clean directional ignition
Watch VOL DELTA — are BUYERS or SELLERS winning the accumulation battle during the quiet phase?
If the Bias Vector is below ±35, the coil does not have strong directional conviction. Lower your size expectations or wait for bias to build
Step 3 — Watch the Ignition Scores Approach Threshold
As the coil deepens, watch IGNITE L and IGNITE S scores on the dashboard climbing toward the minimum threshold. When a score crosses the threshold and highlights, the system is primed — ignition can fire on the next qualifying expansion bar
The squeeze release (SQUEEZE shows RELEASE) is the most important single event in the ignition sequence. When the squeeze releases on a strong expansion candle in the bias direction, ignition fires immediately if the score is sufficient
Step 4 — Enter on the IGNITE Label
The IGNITE label marks the exact ignition bar. Enter on the close of the signal bar or the open of the following bar
The SL is placed beyond the coil box edge — below the coil low (long) or above the coil high (short). This is your structural invalidation: if price re-enters and closes through the opposite side of the coil box, the breakout has failed
TP1 at 2.0× ATR — scale out 50% here. Move the remainder to breakeven
Let TP2 or the first exhaustion diamond manage the remaining position
Step 5 — Exit on Exhaustion or Regime Shift
A purple diamond marks the exhaustion condition. Take profit on the remaining position or tighten the stop aggressively
The dashboard shows EXHAUSTION regime — the trend energy has been identified as spent
If no exhaustion fires and price continues, the system will track the regime as TRENDING — let the move run until exhaustion appears
After EXHAUSTION, the regime resets. Watch for a new compression cycle to build in the updated directional context

All signals are confirmed on bar close — the indicator is non-repainting by design. Regime state, compression score, bias vector, and ignition scores all finalize on confirmed bars
The regime state machine is sequential — IGNITION can only be reached from COILED. This means no signal can fire without prior confirmed compression regardless of how strong the expansion candle is
The ATR percentile rank requires the configured lookback history to be available. On charts with fewer bars than the ATR Percentile Lookback setting, the rank may underperform until sufficient history accumulates. This warm-up effect resolves naturally
The bias arrow label is drawn only on the last bar and refreshes on every tick during live trading. It does not appear on historical bars — only the current bar during BUILDING and COILED regimes
The SL / TP guide lines are redrawn on every new ignition signal. Previous signal levels are deleted when a new signal fires

When Bollinger Bands contract inside the Keltner Channel, volatility is compressing — the market is coiling like a spring. Low volatility is always followed by high volatility. The squeeze tells you a big move is building; the momentum histogram tells you which direction it is most likely to release. Trading the release of a squeeze is one of the highest-reward, lowest-risk setups in technical analysis.

◆ HOW IT WORKS (under the hood)
Bollinger Bands (length/multiplier) measure compression; Keltner Channel (ATR-based) is the volatility reference. A squeeze is active when both BB edges sit inside the KC edges.
Three KC multipliers create three compression tiers so you can tell a mild coil from a maximum-tension coil.
Momentum is a linear regression of price versus the average of the Donchian midline and the moving average (LazyBear method).
The script tracks the tightest tier reached during each coil; a fire is only flagged when the coil reaches your chosen tier and then releases — so arrows mean something.
Coil Energy accumulates from how long and how tightly price has been compressed, and discharges on release — a unique read of stored breakout potential.

0.50% - 5.50% = -5.00 pp
This means Japan’s policy rate is 5.00 percentage points lower than the USA. In the heatmap, this would appear as a negative differential and would be colored toward the negative side of the gradient.
Example 2: Stock Index Performance Differential
Suppose the selected dataset is Stock Index Performance and Differentials and the timeframe is set to Monthly .
If:
USA S&P 500 monthly return = +4.20%
Japan Nikkei 225 monthly return = +2.10%
Then Japan’s stock index performance differential versus the USA is:
2.10% - 4.20% = -2.10 pp
This means Japan’s equity market underperformed the USA by 2.10 percentage points during that monthly period.
Example 3: Raw Stock Index Performance
If the calculation mode is set to Raw Value , the indicator displays each country’s own index return for the selected period.

Most indicators are based on price and time. Volume profile is based on price and volume — it answers a completely different and more important question: at which prices did the most trading actually happen? Those prices are where institutions, liquidity and "fair value" concentrate. High-volume areas act as magnets and strong support/resistance; low-volume areas are vacuums that price rips through. By making this structure obvious, Smart Volume Profile helps you trade with the auction instead of against it.
◆ WHAT IT DRAWS ON THE CHART
POC — Point of Control (gold ray): the single most-traded price in the window. This is the market's fairest value and its strongest magnet. Price returns to the POC again and again; it is the most important pivot on the chart.
VAH / VAL — Value Area High & Low (dashed rays): the top and bottom of the zone that contains 70% of all traded volume (fully configurable, 40–95%). Inside this band the market is "comfortable"; outside it the market is in discovery / imbalance.
High Volume Nodes (HVN): thick, bright rows = heavy acceptance = strong support & resistance and reaction/reversal zones.
Low Volume Nodes (LVN): thin, dim rows = rejection / fast-move zones where price tends to travel quickly and gap.
Gradient histogram: every row is colour-graded by its volume, so the profile literally glows where volume is heaviest — you read the structure at a glance instead of squinting at bars.
All levels extend as live rays with clean, high-contrast labels showing the exact price.

A plain volume profile just draws lines. This indicator adds a compact, modern analytics panel that computes context you cannot see on the chart and condenses it into one glance:
Signal — the headline call, colour-coded: ▲ LONG revert, ▼ SHORT revert, ▲ BREAKOUT, ▼ BREAKDOWN, or ● BALANCED. This is the playbook for the current moment (logic explained below).
→ POC — the live distance from current price to the Point of Control, in %. This is your mean-reversion target and a quick read of how stretched price is from fair value.
In VA — a clean segmented meter showing where price currently sits inside the value area (from VAL on the left to VAH on the right). Instantly tells you if you're at the top, middle, or bottom of value.
Acceptance — the split of volume traded above vs below the POC (e.g. 52% ▼ / ▲ 48%). Reveals which side the market is building value on — a directional bias the chart hides.

◆ HOW IT WORKS (under the hood)
Binning: the chosen lookback window is divided into price rows ("buckets"). Resolution is adjustable for coarse or razor-sharp profiles.
True volume distribution: instead of dumping each bar's volume at its close, the indicator can spread each bar's volume across every price it actually traded through (high→low), producing a far more accurate profile than close-only methods.
POC detection: the row with the maximum accumulated volume becomes the Point of Control — by construction always the longest bar in the histogram.
Value Area expansion: starting from the POC, the algorithm steps outward toward whichever neighbouring row holds more volume, accumulating until the target (default 70%) of total volume is enclosed. The final boundaries become VAH and VAL — the same methodology used in classic Market Profile.
Order-flow analytics: the script measures volume above vs below the POC (Acceptance) and buy-bar vs sell-bar volume (Pressure) across the window.
Smart Signal engine: it blends Acceptance and Pressure into a single order-flow reading and combines it with price location relative to the value area to classify the situation as a rotation or a breakout (see below).
◆ THE SMART SIGNAL LOGIC
A naive volume-profile tool always says "revert to POC", which gets you run over in trends. This one is smarter:
Price BELOW value + order flow NOT confirming the drop → ▲ LONG revert (rotation back to POC).
Price BELOW value + order flow confirming the drop → ▼ BREAKDOWN (continuation — don't catch the knife).
Price ABOVE value + order flow NOT confirming the push → ▼ SHORT revert (rotation back to POC).
Price ABOVE value + order flow confirming the push → ▲ BREAKOUT (continuation — trade with it).
Price INSIDE value → ● BALANCED (range conditions — fade the edges back toward POC).

◆ HOW TO USE IT
Mean-reversion / range trading: in BALANCED or revert states, fade moves at VAH/VAL back toward the POC. The → POC distance is your target; HVN rows are logical stop zones.
Breakout / trend trading: in BREAKOUT / BREAKDOWN states, trade in the direction of the move and target the next HVN. Avoid counter-trend fades when order flow confirms the break.
Support & resistance mapping: treat thick HVN rows as high-probability reaction zones and expect rapid, low-resistance moves through LVN gaps.
Bias & confluence: use Acceptance and Pressure for directional bias, and combine the POC/VAH/VAL levels with your own structure, liquidity, order blocks or session tools for higher-conviction entries.
Multi-timeframe: raise the Lookback for higher-timeframe value (swing context), lower it for intraday/scalping context. Increase Rows for more precise POC placement.

You place an entry and a stop on the chart, and the script returns the
position size that risks a fixed fraction of your account, then projects
your reward targets as R-multiples. Direction (long or short) is inferred
from where you click. The focus is getting currency-correct sizing right
with as little input as possible, and catching the sizing mistakes that
quietly distort risk.
📊 What it does
- Sizes the trade so the entry-to-stop distance equals a fixed percentage
of account equity. Default is 0.75%, a conservative fixed-fractional
risk rule, but the percentage is adjustable.
- Reports the result in the correct unit for the instrument: lots and
units for forex, or contracts/shares sized off point value elsewhere.
- Projects a configurable number of reward targets spaced in R-multiples
(1R, 2R, 3R ...), each labeled with its R-multiple and the reward amount
in your account currency.
- Draws the risk zone (entry to stop) and reward zones, plus an info panel
summarizing account, risk, direction, stop distance, size and R:R.
⚙️ How it works
- Risk amount = account size x risk %. Position size = risk amount /
(stop distance x point value x conversion rate). For forex this is
converted into standard lots.
- Direction is read from the two clicks: a stop below entry is a long,
a stop above entry is a short.
- Instrument detection is automatic (forex, JPY pairs, metals, index,
crypto) via symbol info, with a manual override if you need it.
- Account-to-quote currency conversion is explicit and manual. The
account-currency dropdown is a display label only; the single field
that adjusts lot size is the conversion rate. The panel flags the two
mistakes that actually distort risk: leaving the rate at 1.0 on a
mismatched pair, and applying a non-1.0 rate when the currencies match.
- An optional ATR-based stop can override the clicked stop (length and
multiplier adjustable). Direction still comes from your clicks.
- Repaint-free by construction: no higher-timeframe requests, entry and
stop are static prices, and all drawing is deterministic.
📋 How to use it
1. Add the script. It prompts you to click an entry price, then a stop.
2. Set account size and risk % in settings (default 0.75%).
3. If your account currency differs from the pair's quote currency, enter
the conversion rate (account currency per one unit of quote currency).
The panel warns you when a rate is needed.
4. Read position size, R:R and target levels from the panel and on-chart
labels.
5. For a new setup, open the indicator menu, choose Reset points, then
re-click entry and stop. The Re-arm toggle pauses the current
projection so a stale setup cannot mislead you.

Overview
Momentum Candle is a technical indicator designed to detect strong momentum candles based on body size and wick ratio validation. It is built to help traders quickly identify whether a candle represents genuine bullish or bearish momentum, or merely noise — across multiple forex pairs and BTCUSD.
This indicator is an evolution of the previous Momentum Candle v3, with significant improvements including multi-pair support, EMA trend filter, consolidation validation, dual signal modes, and a time-based alert system.
How It Works
The indicator evaluates each candle using two core criteria:
Minimum Body Size — The candle body (|close − open|) must meet or exceed a user-defined minimum size (in pips), configured separately for each pair and each timeframe (M5, M15, M30).
Wick Ratio — The total wick length must not exceed a configurable percentage of the total candle range (body + wick). Default is 30%, meaning candles with excessive wicks are filtered out.
Signal Modes
Two signal modes are available via the "Mode Candle" input:
Agresif (Aggressive): A signal is generated when the body is large enough and the wick ratio is acceptable, regardless of wick direction. Suitable for traders who want more frequent signals.
Konservatif (Conservative): Adds an additional directional wick check — bullish signals require the lower wick to be smaller than the upper wick, and vice versa for bearish. This reduces noise and false signals.
Alert Modes
Two alert timing modes are available via the "Mode Alert" input:
Agresif: Alert fires immediately every bar when the signal condition is met.
Konservatif: Alert fires only in the 20–90 second window before candle close, reducing premature alerts caused by candles that may still change before closing.
Consolidation Validation (Optional)
When enabled, the indicator checks that the N previous candles (configurable, default 3) are each smaller in body size than the current signal candle. This helps confirm the signal appears after a period of lower volatility, adding context to the momentum reading.
EMA Trend Filter (Optional)
An EMA trend filter can be activated to restrict signals to the direction of the prevailing trend:
Bullish signals only appear when price is above the EMA.
Bearish signals only appear when price is below the EMA.
The EMA timeframe (M5, M15, M30, H1) and period are fully configurable. Recommended: M5=21, M15=50, M30=50, H1=100.
A live trend label (table, top-right) shows the current EMA trend direction.
Supported Pairs and Timeframes
Each pair can be enabled or disabled independently. Minimum body size is configurable per pair and per timeframe:

WHAT IT DOES
• Detects liquidity pools automatically — swing highs / lows and equal highs / equal lows (EQH / EQL) where stop-losses cluster.
• Scores each pool 0–100 with the Magnet Score, a transparent weighted formula.
• Flags the strongest pool as the NEXT TARGET with a live arrow, price and probability.
• Marks pools as swept the moment price closes through them, then fades them.
• Shows a clean live dashboard: next target, probability, distance, bias and pool counts.
• Recolors the chart with neon gradient candles (turquoise bullish / violet bearish).
HOW THE MAGNET SCORE WORKS
The Magnet Score is fully transparent — no black box. Each unswept pool is graded on four weighted factors:
1. Proximity — how close the pool sits to current price (closer pulls harder).
2. Momentum — whether current momentum is moving toward the pool.
3. Age — how long the pool has rested untouched (older pools hold more liquidity).
4. Touches — how many times price has tagged the level (more taps = more stops stacked).
The four factors are combined into a single 0–100 score. The pool with the highest score, within a maximum distance from price, becomes the NEXT TARGET. If no pool is strong or close enough, the panel honestly reports "No clear magnet" instead of inventing a far-away target.
HOW TO USE IT
1. Read the BIAS in the panel — BUY-SIDE PULL means liquidity above is the draw (look for longs into the target); SELL-SIDE PULL means liquidity below is the draw (look for shorts).
2. Find the NEXT TARGET — the highlighted pool is where price is most likely to sweep liquidity next. Use it as a logical take-profit / objective.
3. Check the PROBABILITY bar — higher score = stronger magnet. Weak scores mean price is in a low-liquidity void; be patient.
4. Watch DISTANCE — how far the target is in %. Tight distance = an immediate objective; large distance = a swing objective.
5. Trade the sweep — as price reaches a pool and sweeps it, watch for the reaction. Swept pools fade automatically so the chart always shows live, unmitigated liquidity only.
Tip: combine the NEXT TARGET with your own entry model (FVG, order block, market structure). Liquidity Magnet tells you WHERE liquidity sits and which pool is the draw — you choose the entry.

• Probability bar — visual 0–100 strength of the current magnet.
• Distance — % distance from price to the target.
• Touches — how many times the target level was tested.
• Bias — overall liquidity pull (buy-side vs sell-side).
• Buy-side / Sell-side pools — count of active unmitigated pools on each side.

All liquidity pools are built from confirmed pivots (a fixed lookback of closed bars), and every sweep is confirmed on closed bars only — barstate.isconfirmed. Scores and visuals are display-side and never rewrite history. No request.security, no lookahead, no future leak. What you see is what actually happened.
SETTINGS
Liquidity Engine
• Swing length — pivot lookback; higher = only major swings become pools.
• Equal-level tolerance — how close two highs/lows must be (in ATR) to merge into one pool and count as a touch.
• Max pools per side — cap on active pools above and below.
• Max pool age — pools older than this are removed.
Magnet Score
• Proximity range, Momentum lookback / range — sensitivity of the score factors.
• Weights: proximity / age / touches / momentum — fully customizable scoring.
• Min score to flag target — hide weak magnets below this score.
• Max target distance % — a pool farther than this can never be the NEXT TARGET.
Neon Candles
• Neon gradient candles on/off, Glow halo on/off.
Panel
• Show panel, position, background / text / accent colors.
