IV/HV ratio 1.0 [dime]This script compares the implied volatility to the historic volatility as a ratio. The plot indicates how high the current implied volatility for the next 30 days is relative to the actual volatility realized over the set period. This is most useful for options traders as it may show when the premiums paid on options are over valued relative to the historic risk. The default is set to one year (252 bars) however any number of bars can be set for the lookback period for HV. The default is set to VIX for the IV on SPX or SPY but other CBOE implied volatility indexes may be used. For /CL you have OVX/HV and for /GC you have GVX/HV. Note that the CBOE data for these indexes may be delayed and updated EOD and may not be suitable for intraday information. RSI Binary Strategy Another basic strategy most people learn at the beginning of their trading carreer (like me) is the RSI strategy. This is an adaptation of the built-in RSI strategy for use in binary options. Who knows, maybe one day i will graduate to CFD trading, but my time for trading in general is limited at the moment and I am very much still at the beginning of this entire topic. The rather specific values for the RSI bounds and length I saved have been developed for the EURUSD short term (5min.) interval, giving the highest amount of winning vs. loosing trades as of the publishing date of this script, which is the only important factor for binary options in my understanding. Use at your own risk. Feel free to comment, give me pointers and/or recommendations.

Binary option trading by two previous bars This simple script uses the idea of inertia of the market. if 2 previous candles have the same color, current meant to have that too. Following this signal is equal to buying a binary option on the start of the bar (week here). Signals are shown as arrows on the series. The color of the bar shows the outcome of the current option: yellow is success, black is failure. The same outcomes are at the bottom of the chart. The blue line is the total revenue of all options so far. Can be used as template for strategy simulation.

Deviation Back Tester (Great for Credit Spreads)!Error with math fixed in this one. Please use this one. This is great for credit spreads! Lets say you wanted to know if you had sold a 15% OTM Bull Put vertical 2 months out, how often would you win? This Turns green if you would have been correct with your credit spread had it expired on that date, or red if you would've been wrong. Great for Back testing! This could also be used for ATM debit spreads credit spreads etc. Example, how often does SPY deviate outside a 10% range relative to two months, 5% (if your doing straddles perhaps) etc. This Can be used with any stock. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IT TESTS DEVIATION IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. THEREFORE IT WILL HIGHLIGHT RED ON BOTH THE UPSIDE AND DOWNSIDE. WHEN BACKTESTING BE SURE TO CHECK WHETHER IT IS RED BECAUSE OF DOWNSIDE OR UPSIDE.

vdubsox I've been asking for this concept for a while, a simple MA that rides the top side of the trend instead of the bottom, and by accident came across the 'Hull ma' on a TV blog post. I've added another two simple Moving averages to act as strength indicator with close proximity to the price. The strategy is simple MA cross over but with the early indication using Hull ma gives you a heads up on trend / price reversal. I'm using this in conjunction with BB set at 34. on a 1/3/5 min charts & Heiken Ashi to smooth out the noise with awesome success trading Binary options.
