Auto-draws the pre-market and in-session levels I watch into the NY morning — prior session, Asia, London, 6am, overnight, opening range, daily 50%, NWOG, swings — plus multi-timeframe FVGs. Every level is anchored to the time it formed, cuts when liquidity is taken, and merges with nearby levels so the chart stays readable.
WHAT IT DOES
This indicator draws the key liquidity levels and fair-value gaps for the New York morning session automatically, so you don't have to mark them by hand each day. It's built for intraday index-futures trading (NQ/ES) on a low chart timeframe, but works on any symbol.
LEVELS DRAWN (all times America/New_York)
• Prev Session H/L — prior RTH session (09:30–16:00)
• Asia H/L — 19:00 to 02:00
• London H/L — 02:00 to 08:00
• 6am H/L — 06:00 to 10:00 (the 06:00 4H candle)
• Overnight H/L — 18:00 to 09:30
• Opening Range H/L — 09:30 to 09:45
• Daily 50% — midpoint of the CME daily candle
• NWOG — New Week Opening Gap (Mondays: Fri RTH close to Mon RTH open)
• 1H / 4H swing H/L — pivot highs/lows on those timeframes
FAIR-VALUE GAPS (FVGs)
Every open 3-candle gap on the 15m, 1H, and 4H timeframes is drawn as a shaded zone, tinted by timeframe. Gaps move through a lifecycle:
• Unmitigated (untested) — read louder; these are the actionable targets
• Mitigated (price entered the zone but hasn't traded through) — faded, tagged "Mitigated"
• Filled / aged out — removed automatically
When multiple gaps overlap (e.g. a 1H gap nested inside a 4H gap), their tags stack into a single legend so you can see every timeframe at that price without the labels colliding.
HOW IT BEHAVES
• Time-anchored: every level is stored with its formation time and spawns from its true origin, so it never shifts when you change or zoom the chart timeframe.
• Cuts on sweep: when liquidity is taken, the line stops at the exact bar where it happened (toggleable — turn off for full reference lines).
• Confluence merge: levels at the same price collapse into one line, showing the most significant name (e.g. an Opening Range low sitting on the Prev Day low just reads "Prev Day L").
• Distance filter: only levels within a set distance of price are drawn, so the chart stays clean.
• Replay-safe: intraday sessions and the opening range are computed chart-native, so they form correctly during bar replay and register sweeps at first touch.

Bullish Order Block: Formed by a bearish candle, followed by a bullish candle, followed by a strong bullish continuation. The zone is drawn over the initial bearish candle.

Renaissance Mean Reversion [JOAT]RENAISSANCE MEAN REVERSION
A tribute to the Medallion-style statistical-arbitrage approach: do not trade price — trade the spread between price and its smoothed expectation , measure how reliably that spread mean-reverts using an AR(1) half-life regression , and only fire signals when the half-life is fast enough to be tradeable. The result is a discipline-enforcing engine that says no more often than yes : it refuses to take a reversion trade until the spread shows it actually reverts.
The synthetic spread
The script builds a synthetic pair from two views of the same instrument:
Leg 1 — current price (configurable source).
Leg 2 — long EMA of price (default 50-bar; configurable).
Spread = price − long EMA (or ln(price) − ln(EMA) when log-spread mode is on, removing scale).
The spread is then Z-scored over a configurable lookback (default 100 bars) to produce a stationary stationary signal that says: "how many standard deviations is the spread from its own mean right now?". This is the textbook stat-arb construction, single-leg version.
Half-life regression — the gate
This is what makes the script institutional rather than retail. Reversion is meaningless if the spread does not actually revert. The script fits an AR(1) regression over a configurable window (default 120 bars):
Δspread_t = α + β · spread_{t−1} + ε_t
The half-life of mean reversion is then:
HL = −ln(2) / ln(1 + β)
When β is negative and close to zero, HL is short — the spread reverts quickly. When β approaches −1, HL is huge — the spread barely reverts. When β is positive, the spread is anti-mean-reverting (trending) and the script will refuse to trade.
A configurable Max Half-Life (default 20 bars) gates signals — entries only fire when HL is below this threshold. A configurable Min Half-Life (default 0.5) floors the estimate to avoid degenerate near-zero values that would otherwise produce explosive signals.
This is the headline filter. Roughly 50–70% of bars on most instruments fail it — which is the point. You only trade when the spread has earned the right.
Entry / Exit logic
R-LONG — fires when Z < −entryZ (default −2.0) AND HL is below the max threshold AND the re-entry cooldown has elapsed. Spread is stretched too far below, will revert.
R-SHORT — fires when Z > +entryZ AND HL is below the max threshold AND cooldown elapsed.
R-EXIT — fires when |Z| drops below exitZ (default 0.25) OR when Max Hold Bars (default 40) has been reached, whichever comes first.
A configurable re-entry cooldown (default 3 bars) prevents immediate re-firing on the same side.
Visual system — minimal mono institutional

This is the script's own performance audit — you see whether the engine is finding genuine reversion or whether the current regime is breaking it.

Three alert conditions, each independently controllable:

How to read it
Three reads, in order of conviction:
R-LONG / R-SHORT with very fast HL (e.g. HL = 4 bars on a 1H chart) — the script's intended high-conviction setup. The spread is stretched, the math says it will revert quickly, the chart agrees. This is the institutional setup.
Half-life crossing above max (alert) — regime warning. The instrument is shifting from mean-reverting to trending. Any open R-positions should be re-evaluated; new R-entries should be paused until HL re-tightens.
Sustained R-EXIT triggers from time-stop (max-hold) rather than from Z returning to neutral — the script is exiting because the trade ran out of time, not because the thesis played out. Recurring time-stop exits mean the current parameters do not fit the instrument.
The rolling backtest win-rate is your auditor. When it climbs, the engine is finding edge. When it grinds flat or declines, the regime has changed and the parameters need adjustment.
Suggested settings
Defaults (long EMA 50, Z lookback 100, regression window 120, max HL 20 bars, entry Z 2.0, exit Z 0.25) are tuned for 1H–4H on liquid markets where mean reversion is statistically meaningful. For lower timeframes drop everything proportionally (long EMA 25, Z 50, regression 60). For HTF raise everything (long EMA 100, Z 200, regression 200). The max HL is the most sensitive parameter — narrow it (10–15) for high-conviction-only filtering; widen it (25–30) for more frequent signals.
Originality / what's reused
The synthetic-pair Z-score construction is textbook stat-arb. The AR(1) half-life regression is published quantitative finance — the Ornstein–Uhlenbeck-process speed-of-reversion estimator. The implementation here — the dual-leg synthetic spread with optional log construction, the rolling Z-normalisation pipeline, the AR(1) regression with HL formula and min/max-HL gating, the entry/exit state machine with cooldown and max-hold, the rolling N-trade backtest tracker, and the minimal-mono institutional aesthetic — is JOAT-original. No third-party code reused. The script is a tribute to the Medallion-style approach, not a direct replication of any proprietary Renaissance Technologies code.
Limitations
The single-leg "synthetic pair" (price vs its own EMA) is a degenerate stat-arb construction by design — true stat-arb uses two genuinely co-integrated instruments. Pine's per-script symbol limitation makes a two-instrument cointegration construction impractical for a standalone indicator; this script captures the methodology of stat-arb (spread + Z + HL gate) on the single-instrument case. The HL estimate is statistical and needs the regression window populated; early bars give a warm-up read.

2-Candle Reversal
This is the faster swing model.
A bullish 2-candle swing looks for a strong rejection wick followed by a stronger confirmation candle.
A bearish 2-candle swing does the opposite.
This can help catch earlier reversals before a full 5-candle pivot is confirmed.

Grid Construction: On script load, the indicator computes N price levels between the configured High and Low bounds. In Geometric mode (default), level k is at High × (Low/High)^(k/(N-1)), giving constant percent spacing — approximately 1.02% per step at default settings. In Arithmetic mode, levels are linearly spaced by absolute price.
Per-Slot Logic: Each grid level is an independent slot tracked by a boolean ownership flag. When bar close moves price down through an empty slot's level, the indicator marks a virtual long opened at that level for one slot's worth of capital (Investment / N) and dispatches its buy webhook. When bar close moves price up through the level immediately above an owned slot, that slot is closed, the round-trip profit between the two adjacent levels is realized, and the close webhook fires.
Honest Virtual Bookkeeping: Total cost and qty are updated incrementally on every event, so the avg entry, deployed capital, Open PnL, and realized net profit displayed in the status table reflect the actual broker-equivalent position state — no shortcut, no synthetic averaging.
Lifetime Realized PnL: Each closed slot accumulates its round-trip profit into a persistent counter. The status table displays both Open PnL (current unrealized state) and cumulative realized net profit, so live performance is visible directly on the chart.
Capital Bounds: Total virtual deployed capital cannot exceed the configured Investment. When all 62 slots are filled, no new slots open until price rises and starts closing slots. This structural cap is the indicator's primary risk control.

🔷 Considerations Before Using the Indicator:
Market Selection & Range Validity: Grid tools are most profitable in range-bound, mean-reverting markets. On strong directional trends below the configured Low, slots will keep loading as price falls and won't close until price reverses. The default High/Low (0.5795 / 0.3134) was set against TWT's recent observed range; update both whenever the regime changes.
Loaded-Grid Dynamic: When TWT sits in the lower half of the range, most slots are bought and waiting — the bulk of the value shows up as Open PnL rather than Realized PnL. This is normal grid behavior: realized profit only accrues as slots complete their round-trips. On the companion strategy's reference window the net closed profit was thin (+0.96%) for exactly this reason — nearly all levels were loaded at the end of the sample.
Aggregate Drawdown: Per-slot reference risk is moderate (~1.6% of equity), but if price collapses below the Low bound, aggregate unrealized loss can grow further — the companion strategy's backtest reached a 20.03% maximum equity drawdown, driven by the fully-loaded-grid dynamic. Match the indicator's per-slot allocation and Investment to your bot's configuration to keep the avg-entry and PnL display honest.
No Stop Loss: There is no exit signal on adverse moves below the lowest grid level. Slots whose entry sits above current market simply wait until price comes back. Risk is structurally capped by the bounded per-slot allocation; if a hard exchange-side stop is required, configure it on the bot directly.

If the indicator is added mid-deployment or the live bot diverges from the signal stream (manual interventions, partial fills), the indicator state may not match the live bot. Toggle the indicator off and on to reset.
Backtesting Note: This is an indicator, not a strategy. There is no built-in P&L tester — but the live realized-profit counter in the status table gives a running approximation. Grid Construction: On script load, the strategy computes N price levels between the configured High and Low bounds. In Geometric mode (default), level k is at High × (Low/High)^(k/(N-1)), giving constant percent spacing — approximately 1.02% per step at default settings. In Arithmetic mode, levels are linearly spaced by absolute price.
Per-Slot Logic: Each grid level is an independent slot tracked by a boolean ownership flag. When bar close moves price down through an empty slot's level, a long is opened at that level for one slot's worth of capital (Investment / N). When bar close moves price up through the level immediately above an owned slot, that slot is closed, locking the round-trip profit between the two adjacent levels.
No Trailing, No Stop Loss: By design, each slot has a fixed exit (the level above). The strategy never trails the exit and never stops a slot out for a loss — slots whose entry price is below current market simply wait until price comes back. This is the canonical grid-bot behavior.
Capital Bounds: Total deployed capital cannot exceed the configured Investment. When all 62 slots are filled, no new orders are opened until price rises and starts closing slots. This structural cap is the strategy's primary risk control.

- Per-Level Webhook Ledger: Every fill and close emits a fully-formed JSON alert payload tagged with the specific grid slot ("Grid_BUY_L5" / "Grid_TP_L5"). The strategy can drive a DCA Bot configured for grid emulation without any glue layer.
- Pre-Allocated State: All up to 200 slot ledgers live in fixed-size arrays, so state lookups are constant-time and the chart can render every active slot with no performance overhead.
- Honest Backtest Surface: The avg entry line plotted on the chart and the open PnL displayed in the status table both reflect the actual broker-equivalent position state — derived from fill-by-fill bookkeeping, not synthetic averaging. - Calibrated for TWT 15m: Default bounds, level count, and step size are set against TWT's recent observed range. The 62-level geometric ladder gives roughly 1.02% per step — wide enough to clear taker fees on each round-trip, granular enough to keep catching 15m swings inside the range.
🔷 Considerations Before Using the Strategy:
Why the Net Profit Looks Small: At the end of the reference backtest the net closed profit is thin (+192.35 USDT / +0.96%) — but this is not the whole picture. Because TWT drifted down toward the lower half of the range and sat there, almost all grid levels are currently loaded: a large share of the capital is tied up in open long slots that have been bought on the way down and are still waiting for price to rise back through their exit level. Those slots are holding unrealized value that has not yet been converted into realized profit. In a grid strategy the realized profit only accrues as slots complete their round-trip; when the grid is nearly fully loaded near the lows, most of the equity is sitting in open positions rather than banked profit. If price recovers into the upper half of the range, those loaded slots close in sequence and the realized profit rises accordingly.
Market Selection & Range Validity: Grid strategies are most profitable in range-bound, mean-reverting markets. On strong directional trends below the configured Low, slots will keep loading as price falls and won't close until price reverses. The default High/Low (0.5795 / 0.3134) was set against TWT's recent observed range; update both whenever the regime changes.
Capital Deployment & Drawdown: The default Investment of 20,000 USDT equals 100% of starting capital — high-conviction setting that assumes the configured range holds. Per-slot risk is moderate (~1.6% of equity), but if price collapses below the Low bound, aggregate unrealized loss can grow further — the reference backtest reached a 20.03% maximum equity drawdown, driven by the same fully-loaded-grid dynamic described above. Scale the Investment input down to match the worst-case drawdown you are willing to absorb.
No Stop Loss Justification: There is no exit on adverse moves below the lowest grid level. The strategy's per-trade risk is structurally capped by the per-slot allocation (Investment / N levels) — at defaults that is ~323 USDT per slot, inside the conventional 5–10% per-trade band. The aggregate unrealized exposure is controlled separately via the Investment input.
Trade Volume & Fees: Grid bots on 15m generate a high number of round-trips — the reference backtest logged 1,227 closed trades, far above the ~100-trade floor for statistical relevance. What it does
The indicator watches for volume spikes — bars where volume rises above its own moving average by a set threshold — and marks each one with a directional triangle:

2. FAIR VALUE GAPS — Standard 3-candle imbalances (bullish `low > high `, bearish
`high < low `), with an optional displacement filter and a minimum-size filter to
cut noise. Each gap is drawn as a box and tracked until filled (Wick / Close /
Average mitigation).
3. CONFLUENCE — the point of the tool. A gap is "confluent" when it overlaps the OTE
band (strict) or, in the looser mode, when a bullish gap sits in discount / a bearish
gap sits in premium. Confluent gaps are highlighted with a ★. Turn on "Show ONLY
Confluent FVGs" and the chart reduces to just the high-probability zones.

🔷 HOW IT DETECTS THE ZONES
Fair Value Gaps: a three-candle imbalance. A bullish FVG is marked when the low of the current candle sits above the high of the candle two bars back, leaving an untraded gap. A bearish FVG is the mirror. Gaps smaller than your Min FVG size (measured in ATR) are filtered out so the chart stays clean.
Order Blocks: displacement based. When a candle closes with a body larger than your Displacement setting (in ATR), the toolkit marks the last opposing candle before that move as the order block. A strong bullish move leaves a bullish order block on the last down candle, and the reverse for bearish.

Every zone extends to the right until price closes through it (mitigated) or it passes the Max zone age. That means the boxes on your chart are the ones that are still unmitigated, not old clutter.

A compact, positionable panel shows the live count of unmitigated bullish and bearish Fair Value Gaps and Order Blocks, plus a total. Drop it in any corner.
🔷 HOW TO USE
Treat the zones as areas of interest, not automatic trades. Watch for price to return to an unmitigated order block or fair value gap in the direction of your higher-timeframe bias, then confirm with your own analysis and use a stop. Higher timeframes produce fewer and stronger zones.

Fair Value Gaps: show on/off, Min FVG size (x ATR), colours. Order Blocks: show on/off, Displacement (x ATR), OB lookback, colours. General: Max zone age, Extend right, Info panel + position.
