This script plots Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) lines that are automatically anchored to the beginning of key timeframes — daily, weekly, and monthly. VWAP is a widely used trading indicator that shows the average price of an asset weighted by trading volume, making it useful for identifying fair value and institutional trading levels.
The “automatic anchored” feature means that you don’t have to manually select starting points. Instead, the script automatically resets the VWAP at the start of each day, week, or month, depending on the chosen setting. This ensures the VWAP always reflects the true average price for that period, providing traders with a consistent reference for support, resistance, and trend direction across multiple timeframes.
Notice:
On the chart, you may notice visible “jumps” in the VWAP lines. These are intentional. Each jump marks the reset point at the start of a new day, week, or month, depending on the selected setting. This design keeps the VWAP history from the previous period intact, allowing you to clearly see how price interacted with VWAP in past sessions.
By keeping these historical resets, you can easily compare short-term (daily) VWAP behavior against longer-term levels like weekly and monthly VWAP. This provides valuable context, helping you spot when price respects or diverges from fair value across different timeframes.
In short:
Daily VWAP resets at the start of each trading day.
Weekly VWAP resets at the beginning of each trading week.
Monthly VWAP resets at the start of each month.

█ How It Works
⚪ Profile Construction
The price range (from highest to lowest) is divided into a number of levels (buckets). Each bar’s volume is added to the correct level, based on its average price. This builds a map of where trading volume was concentrated.
You can choose to:
Aggregate all volume at each level, or
Split bullish vs. bearish volume , slightly offset for clarity.
This creates a clear view of which price zones matter most to the market.
⚪ 3D Effect Creation
The unique part of this indicator is how the 3D projection is built. Each volume block’s width is scaled to its relative size, then tilted with a slope factor to create a depth effect.

█ How to Use
⚪ Support & Resistance Zones (HVNs and Value Area)
Regions where a lot of volume traded tend to act like walls:
If price approaches a high-volume area from above, it may act as support.
From below, it may act as resistance.
Traders often enter or exit near these zones because they represent strong agreement among market participants.
⚪ POC Rejections & Mean Reversions
The Point of Control (POC) is the single price level with the highest volume in the profile.
When price returns to the POC and rejects it, that’s often a signal for reversal trades.
In ranging markets, price may bounce between edges of the Value Area and revert to POC.
⚪ Breakouts via Low-Volume Zones (LVNs)
Low volume areas (gaps in the profile) offer path of least resistance:
Price often moves quickly through these thin zones when momentum builds.
Use them to spot breakouts or continuation trades.
⚪ Directional Insight
Use the bull/bear separation to see whether buyers or sellers dominated at key levels.

How It Works

Volume Z-Score

This metric is a powerful way to spot when institutional or large players might be entering the market. A high Z-Score suggests a significant event is taking place, regardless of direction.
Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD)
CVD tracks the net buying and selling pressure across different timeframes. The script uses a lower timeframe (e.g., 1-minute) and anchors it to a higher timeframe (e.g., 1-day) to capture intraday pressure. A positive CVD indicates more buying pressure, while a negative CVD suggests more selling pressure.
Cluster Categories
The script analyzes the confluence of these two metrics to assign a cluster to each bar, providing actionable insights. The clusters are color-coded and labeled to make them easy to interpret:

What it measures
Pace (RVOL): current bar volume vs the recent average (smoothed).
Direction proxy: uptick/downtick by comparing close to close .
Pulse (histogram): direction × pace, so you see who’s pushing and how fast.
Colors
- Lime = Buy surge (pace ≥ threshold & upticking)
- Red = Sell surge (pace ≥ threshold & downticking)
- Teal = Buy pressure, sub-threshold
- Orange = Sell pressure, sub-threshold

Background tint mirrors the current state so you can glance risk: greenish for buy pressure, reddish for sell pressure.
Signals & alerts
- BUY surge – fires when pace crosses above the surge threshold with uptick direction (optional acceleration & uptick streak filters; cooldown prevents spam).
- SELL surge – mirror logic to downside.
- Slowdown – fires when pace crosses below the yellow slowdown line while direction ≤ 0 (early fade warning).
Climax (exhaustion)
- Buy Climax: previous bar was a buy surge with a large upper wick; current bar slows (below slowdown line) and direction ≤ 0.
- Sell Climax: mirror (large lower wick → slowdown → direction ≥ 0).
- Great for trimming/tight stops or fade setups at obvious spikes.
- Create alerts via Add alert → Condition: this indicator → choose the specific alert (BUY surge, SELL surge, Slowdown, Buy Climax, Sell Climax).
How to use it (playbook)
- Longs (e.g., VWAP reclaim / micro pullback)
- Only take entries when the pulse is teal→lime (buy pressure to buy surge).
- Into prior highs/VWAP bands, take partials on lime spikes.
- If you get a Slowdown dot and bars turn orange/red, tighten or exit.
Shorts (failed reclaim / lower-high)
- Look for teal→orange→red with rising pace at a level.
- Add confidence if a Buy Climax printed right before (exhaustion).
- Risk above the spike; don’t fight true ignitions out of bases.
Simple guardrails
- Avoid new longs when the histogram is orange/red; avoid new shorts when teal/lime.
- Use with VWAP + 9/20 EMA or your levels. The pulse is confirmation, not the whole thesis.
Inputs (what they do & when to tweak)
- Pace lookback (bars) – window for average volume. Lower = faster; higher = steadier.
Too jumpy? raise it. Missing quick bursts? lower it.
- Smoothing EMA (bars) – smooths pace. Higher = calmer.
Use 4–6 during the open; 3–4 midday.
- Surge threshold (× RVOL) – how fast counts as a surge.
Too many surges? raise it. Too late? lower it slightly.
- Slowdown drop from 30-bar max (%) – how far below the recent peak pace to call a slowdown.
Higher % = later slowdown; lower % = earlier warning.
- Neutral band (× RVOL) – paces below this fade to gray.
Raise to clean up noise; lower to see subtle pressure.
- Min seconds between signals – cooldown to prevent spam.
Increase in chop; reduce if you want more pings.
- BUY/SELL: min consecutive upticks/downticks – tiny streak filter.
Raise to avoid wiggles; lower for earlier signals.
Require pace accelerating into signal – ON = avoid stall breakouts; OFF = earlier pings.
Climax options: wick % threshold & “require slowdown cross”.
Raise wick% / require cross to be stricter; lower to catch more fades.

Reading common patterns
- Ignition (likely continuation): lime spike out of a base that holds above a level while pace stays above yellow.
- Exhaustion (likely fade): lime spike late in a run with upper wick → Slowdown → orange/red. The Buy Climax diamond is your tell.
Limits / notes
This is an OHLCV-based proxy (PulseWire Pine can’t read raw tape/DOM). It won’t match Bookmap/Jigsaw tick-for-tick, but it’s fast and objective.

By transforming multiple complex data streams into a single aggregated signal, Volume Pressure Arrows help traders answer some of the hardest questions we can face: is the current move backed by conviction? is there true momentum? Is price action about to reverse?
Why It’s Different
Traditional oscillators often create conflicting signals, forcing traders to guess which one to trust. This indicator integrates five perspectives on volume and momentum pressure into a single framework, balancing raw flow (CVD), relative positioning (VWAP), trend conviction (OBV slope), volatility expansion (ATR), and directional bias (DMI). The result is a weighted, probability-minded score capped between -100 and +100 for consistency and clarity.

How to Read It
Bullish Arrows appear below the candles when the pressure score pushes above the neutral threshold, signaling meaningful buyer dominance.
Bearish Arrows appear above the candles when pressure drops below the negative threshold, indicating strong selling pressure.
Neutral Arrows (smaller, faded) mark conditions where pressure exists but is not decisive—useful for spotting early rotations or fading momentum.
Color Gradients dynamically adjust with score intensity, making stronger signals visually brighter and weaker ones softer.
How to Use It Effectively
This tool is best applied as a confirmation and timing layer. It is not meant to replace your core strategy, but to validate whether momentum pressure supports your trade thesis.
Combine with trendlines, chart patterns, or breakouts to gauge conviction.
Use bullish or bearish arrows as filters, only take trades when price action aligns with strong directional pressure.
Watch neutral arrows near key levels; they often foreshadow balance breaking into directional moves.

Trading Activity Index (Zeiierman) is a volume-based market activity meter that transforms dollar-volume into a smooth, normalized “activity index.”
It highlights when market participation is unusually low or high with a dynamic color gradient:
Light Blue → Low Activity (thin participation, low liquidity conditions)
Red/Orange → High Activity (active markets, large trades flowing in)
Additional percentile bands (20/40/60/80%) give context, helping you see whether the current activity level is in the bottom quintile, mid-range, or near historical extremes.

⚪ Dollar Volume Transformation
Each bar, dollar volume is computed:

Dollar volume = price × volume, smoothed by a configurable SMA window.
The result is log-transformed, compressing large outliers for a more stable signal.

Watch transitions from blue → orange as a signal of growing institutional participation.

This tool provides a quantitative “void” proxy: when price travels far with unusually thin volume, the move is flagged as likely inefficient and prone to mean-reversion/mitigation.

Sell-Side Imbalance = aggressive sell move (price goes down on low volume) → expect price to move up to fill it.
Buy-Side Imbalance = aggressive buy move (price goes up on low volume) → expect price to move down to fill it.

Volume Baseline Length — Bars for the volume trend used in VolShock. Larger = smoother baseline, fewer low-volume flags.
Vol Shock Z-Score Lookback — Bars to standardize VolShock; larger = smoother, fewer extremes.
Low-Volume Threshold (VolShock Z ≤) — Defines “thin participation.” Typical: −0.5 to −1.0.
Return Z-Score Lookback — Bars to standardize the 1-bar log return; larger = smoother “extremeness” measure.
Fade When Volume Not Low (0–1) — Weight applied when volume is not low. 0.00 = ignore non-low-volume bars entirely. 1.00 = treat volume condition as irrelevant (pure return extremeness).
Upper Threshold (Osc ≥) — Trigger for Sell-Side Imbalance (void below).
Lower Threshold (Osc ≤) — Trigger for Buy-Side Imbalance (void above).

Dynamic Volume Stress Calculation: The indicator calculates volume stress based on a Simple Moving Average (SMA) of volume and its standard deviation. The length of the SMA and the multiplier for the standard deviation are fully customizable, allowing you to adapt the indicator to different market conditions and trading styles.
Visual Volume Zones: The script visually categorizes volume into distinct zones:
Low Volume Zone: Represented by a white background, indicating periods of lower-than-average trading activity.
Normal Volume Zone: Highlighted in blue, signifying typical trading volume.
Medium Volume Zone: Displayed in yellow, denoting a moderate increase in volume.
High Volume Zone: Shown in orange, indicating significant volume spikes.

Volumetric Compressed MAVCMA (Volumetric Compressed Moving Average) uses the compressor and weighted standard deviation functions originally translated to pinescript by @gorx1 to plot moving averages in order to use for entry confirmation.
🔹 Concepts and Idea:
When we do music we always use different kinds of filters (low-pass, high pass, etc) for equalization and filtering itself. That stuff we use in finance as well. What we also always use in music are compressors, there dynamic processors that automatically adjust volume so it will be more consistent. Almost all the cool music you hear is compressed (both individual instruments (especially vocals) and the whole track afterwards), otherwise stuff will be too quite and too weak to flex on it, and also DJing it would be a nightmare.
🔹 Model:
I don't wanna explain it all in statistical / DSP way for once.
First of all, I think the population of volumes is log-normally distributed, so let's take logs of volumes, now we have a ~ normally distributed data. We take linearly weighted mean, add and subtract linearly weighted standard deviation from it, these would be our thresholds, the borders between different kinds of volumes explained before.
The upper threshold is for downward compression, that will not let volume pass it higher.
The lower threshold is for upward compression, all the volumes lower than this threshold will be brought up to the threshold's level.
Then we apply multipliers to the thresholds in order to adjust em and find the sweet spots. We do it the same way as in sound engineering when we don't aim for overcompression, we adjust the thresholds until they start to touch the signal and all good.
Afterwards, we delete all the number 1 and number 3 volume, leaving us exclusively with the clear main component, ready to be processed further.
We return the volumes to dem real scale.

🔹 Settings:
MA Type: Moving average type to be used for comparison after calculating the compressed version of volume. This creates the second line after the compression line, so we can consider crossovers for confirmation entries.
Upward threshold: Upward threshold where the compression of volume is calculated. Increasing usually causes smoother lines.
Downward threshold: Downward threshold where the compression of volume is calculated. Decreasing usually causes smoother lines.
Compression Lookback: The Main lookback window of a volume that is used for compression. Increasing this would provide smoother lines but might cause delayed signals. Decreasing means more signals, but might cause whiplash and distorted signals.
Comparative Lookback: This is our lookback to be used with our ma type selection. There is no static better or worse lookback value for this indicator. It should be adjusted based on the pair.
🔹 Where to use:
This indicator should be used as another confirmation tool for your entry signals in your existing strategy/market following combination. Green dots (crossovers) mean bullish movement is expected, and red dots (crossbounders) mean bearish movement is expected. Automated crossover alerts are available. A reminder is that this kind of indicator should not be used on its own for trading, but rather should be used as a confirmation along with your trend detection and main entry indicators to provide additional confidence.

We calculate the ratio of the compressed volume and plot it against the base MA. Base MA's length is determined by the Compression Lookback input compared to the Comperative Lookback that is used for the compressed version.
