Dynamic RSI Trend Coloring
The RSI can automatically change color based on the relationship between a fast and slow RSI:

Overview
MA Retest Strategy is a trend-following system built around a simple but powerful idea: price rarely moves in a straight line — it pulls back to test a moving average before continuing in the direction of the trend. Instead of just plotting two moving averages and leaving you to guess, this indicator turns that pullback-and-continuation behavior into a complete, rule-based trade framework: it detects the retest, marks the exact entry, calculates a volatility-aware stop-loss and take-profit, tracks the outcome of every signal, and even scans four other symbols of your choice for the same setup in real time.
The trend direction is defined by two Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) — a fast one (default length 50) and a slow one (default length 200). Their relationship (fast above slow = uptrend, fast below slow = downtrend) is combined with a retest of the fast EMA: price must pierce through the fast EMA against the trend and then close back on the trend side. That close is the signal.
Trading Logic
Long entry conditions:
1. The fast EMA is above the slow EMA (uptrend).
2. Within the last few bars, price has pierced below the fast EMA (a genuine pullback, not just noise).
3. The current candle closes back above the fast EMA, confirming the retest is over and the trend is resuming.
When all three conditions align, the indicator plots a BUY label, and immediately draws four price levels: Entry, Stop-Loss, Take-Profit, and Breakeven, each as a line with a live price tag on the right edge for easy order placement.
Short entry conditions are the mirror image: fast EMA below slow EMA, a pierce above the fast EMA, and a close back below it.
If price is currently trading between the two moving averages (neither clearly above nor below), no new signal is evaluated — this "no man's land" filter avoids chasing signals in a choppy, undecided market.
Once a setup is triggered, it stays open (as a pending order, then as an active trade once price reaches the entry) until it's resolved by hitting the stop, hitting the target, timing out, or being invalidated by an opposite signal — only one setup per direction is ever open at a time, and an opposite signal automatically cancels whatever is currently active.
Risk Management
The stop-loss is never left to guesswork. You can choose between three calculation methods:
• Swing (High/Low): stop placed at the nearest swing low/high within a lookback window.
• ATR: stop placed at a multiple of the Average True Range from the entry price — automatically adapts to the current volatility of the instrument.
• Percent of Price: a fixed percentage distance from the entry price.
Regardless of the method chosen, a hard risk ceiling (expressed as % of price) prevents the stop from ever being placed unreasonably far away — for example because of a single abnormal wick or a bad tick in the data feed. Swing mode additionally has its own volatility-aware clamp (a maximum deviation expressed in ATR multiples), since raw swing highs/lows are the most exposed to being skewed by one outlier candle.
The take-profit is calculated as a multiple of the initial risk (an "R-multiple"), and a separate breakeven marker line shows where price would need to reach for you to consider moving your stop to entry — because in a mean-reversion-to-trend system like this, once price reaches roughly 1R in your favor, the probability of it snapping back toward the moving average (rather than continuing cleanly to the full target) increases, so protecting the trade at breakeven is a sound practice.
Dual Dashboard System
Statistics Panel — tracks every signal the indicator has generated on the current chart and breaks the results down into Take-Profit, Stop-Loss, and Breakeven outcomes (a stop hit after price already touched the breakeven level is counted separately from a "clean" stop-loss, since in practice you'd have moved your stop by then). You can filter the statistics to the full history, the last N days, or from a fixed date — ideal for quickly gauging how well the current settings are performing on a specific symbol before you commit to trading it.
Symbol Scanner — lets you monitor up to five other symbols for the exact same setup, in real time, without leaving your current chart. For each symbol it shows whether a signal is currently pending or already active, in which direction, and its entry/stop/target levels. Note: the scanner applies the same strategy settings (moving average lengths, stop method, R-multiple, etc.) that are set for the main chart — it is not independently configurable per symbol.
How to Use
1. Open the symbol and timeframe you're interested in, and check the Statistics panel — a strong win rate and consistent R:R suggest the market is currently trending cleanly enough for mean-reversion entries to work.
2. If the recent win rate is high, the market is respecting the moving average structure and the setup is worth trading. If it's dropping, the market may be entering consolidation — better to wait for a cleaner trend to re-establish.
3. Use the plotted Entry/Stop/Take-Profit/Breakeven lines and their price tags to place your actual order.
4. Once price reaches the breakeven marker, consider moving your live stop-loss to entry — this is a discretionary decision the indicator flags for you but does not automate.
5. Use the Symbol Scanner to keep an eye on other assets in your watchlist without switching charts constantly.
Settings Reference
General
• Source — the price series used to calculate both moving averages (default: Close).

• MA fast — length of the fast EMA (default 50).

• Swing Point Lookback (bars) — lookback window used to find the nearest swing high/low for Swing-mode stops, and also used as part of the warm-up gate before the indicator starts evaluating signals (default 10).
• Take Profit, R (risk multiple) — target distance expressed as a multiple of the initial risk (default 3 = 3R).
• Max Bars in Open Setup (timeout) — if a signal doesn't resolve (neither stop nor target hit) within this many bars, it's force-closed and logged separately as a timeout rather than left open indefinitely (default 300).
• Stop Loss Calculation Method — choose between Swing (High/Low), ATR, or Percent of Price.
• ATR Length — averaging period for the ATR calculation (default 14).
• ATR Multiplier for Stop — multiplier applied to ATR when the Stop mode is set to ATR (default 1.5).
• Stop, % of Entry Price — fixed stop distance used only when the Stop mode is set to Percent of Price (default 1%).
• Max Allowed Risk, % of Price — hard ceiling on stop distance, applied regardless of the selected mode, to protect against abnormal candles or bad data ticks (default 5%).
• Also Cap Swing Stop by ATR (recommended) — an additional, volatility-adaptive safety clamp that applies only in Swing mode, tighter and more responsive than the flat percentage cap.
• Max Swing Stop Deviation, x ATR — multiplier for the clamp above (default 3).
• Move to Breakeven, R (risk multiple) — the R-distance at which the breakeven marker line is drawn (default 1 = 1R).

Направление тренда определяется двумя экспоненциальными скользящими средними (EMA) — быстрой (по умолчанию период 50) и медленной (по умолчанию период 200). Их взаимное расположение (быстрая выше медленной — восходящий тренд, быстрая ниже — нисходящий) сочетается с ретестом быстрой EMA: цена должна проколоть быструю EMA против тренда, а затем закрыться обратно на стороне тренда. Это закрытие и есть сигнал.
Логика торговли
Условия входа в лонг:
1. Быстрая EMA выше медленной EMA (восходящий тренд).
2. За последние несколько баров цена проколола быструю EMA вниз (настоящий откат, а не рыночный шум).
3. Текущая свеча закрывается обратно выше быстрой EMA, подтверждая, что ретест завершён и тренд возобновляется.
Когда все три условия совпадают, индикатор рисует ярлык BUY и сразу же размечает четыре ценовых уровня: вход, стоп-лосс, тейк-профит и безубыток — каждый в виде линии с "живым" ценником у правого края для удобной постановки ордера.
Условия входа в шорт зеркальны: быстрая EMA ниже медленной, прокол быстрой EMA вверх, и закрытие обратно ниже неё.
Если цена в данный момент находится между двумя скользящими средними (не выше и не ниже отчётливо), новый сигнал не рассматривается — этот фильтр "нейтральной зоны" не даёт индикатору гнаться за сигналами на "рваном", неопределившемся рынке.
После срабатывания сетап остаётся открытым (сначала как отложенный ордер, затем как активная сделка после достижения цены входа), пока не будет закрыт по стопу, по тейку, по тайм-ауту или отменён встречным сигналом — в каждый момент времени открыт только один сетап на направление, и встречный сигнал автоматически отменяет текущий активный.
Управление риском
Стоп-лосс никогда не рассчитывается "на глаз". Доступны три метода расчёта:
• Свинг (high/low): стоп ставится на ближайший минимум/максимум в пределах окна поиска.
• ATR: стоп ставится на расстоянии, кратном среднему истинному диапазону (ATR) от цены входа — автоматически подстраивается под текущую волатильность инструмента.

У режима "Свинг" есть дополнительный, чувствительный к волатильности предохранитель (максимальное отклонение в множителях ATR), поскольку "сырые" свинг-хаи/лоу сильнее всего подвержены искажению одной нетипичной свечой.
Тейк-профит рассчитывается как кратное исходному риску значение ("R-множитель"), а отдельная линия безубытка показывает, на каком уровне цены имеет смысл задуматься о переводе стопа в точку входа — потому что в системе возврата-к-тренду вроде этой, как только цена проходит примерно 1R в вашу пользу, вероятность отката обратно к скользящей средней (вместо чистого продолжения до полного тейка) возрастает, поэтому защита сделки на безубытке — разумная практика.
Двойная система панелей
Панель статистики — отслеживает каждый сигнал, сгенерированный индикатором на текущем графике, и разбивает результаты на исходы "тейк-профит", "стоп-лосс" и "безубыток" (стоп, сработавший после того как цена уже коснулась уровня безубытка, считается отдельно от "чистого" стоп-лосса, поскольку на практике к этому моменту вы, скорее всего, уже перевели бы стоп). Применение
1. Откройте нужный актив и таймфрейм и посмотрите на панель статистики — высокий процент выигрышных сделок и стабильное R:R говорят о том, что рынок сейчас достаточно чисто трендовый для входов по возврату к средней.
2. Если недавний винрейт высокий, рынок соблюдает структуру скользящих средних, и сетап стоит торговать. Если он снижается, рынок может входить в фазу консолидации — лучше дождаться, пока тренд снова выровняется.
3. Используйте отрисованные линии входа/стопа/тейка/безубытка и их ценники для постановки реального ордера.
4. Когда цена достигает отметки безубытка, стоит рассмотреть перевод реального стоп-лосса в точку входа — это решение, на которое индикатор указывает, но не выполняет автоматически.

Confirmed pivots can provide useful reversal context, but a pivot alone does not answer:

• whether the setup occurs during the selected trading session
• whether the pivot candle contains a meaningful rejection wick
• whether price has moved sufficiently away from the confirmed pivot
• whether the confirmation candle supports the intended direction

⚙️ HOW THE SCRIPT WORKS

The script runs directly on the main price chart.
It calculates confirmed price pivots using independently adjustable left-side and right-side lengths for highs and lows.
The default pivot configuration is:
• Pivot High Left Bars: 10
• Pivot High Right Bars: 10
• Pivot Low Left Bars: 10
• Pivot Low Right Bars: 10
The signal engine then combines:
• confirmed pivot status
• Bullish / Bearish / Both bias permission

A BUY signal is based on a confirmed pivot low.
A SELL signal is based on a confirmed pivot high.

Pivot High Left Bars determines how many candles to the left must have lower highs than a potential pivot high.
Pivot High Right Bars determines how many completed candles must form to the right before the potential pivot high is confirmed.
Pivot Low Left Bars determines how many candles to the left must have higher lows than a potential pivot low.
Pivot Low Right Bars determines how many completed candles must form to the right before the potential pivot low is confirmed.
Higher left and right values generally identify larger and less frequent swing structures.
Lower values generally identify smaller and more frequent structures.
The high and low settings are independent.
This allows users to study symmetrical configurations such as 10 / 10 for both directions, or asymmetrical configurations when market behavior requires different sensitivity for pivot highs and pivot lows.

The script uses confirmed pivot functions.
A pivot is not known on the original pivot candle.
For example, with Pivot Low Right Bars set to 10:
• the potential pivot low occurs
• ten additional candles must complete to its right
• the pivot becomes confirmed on the later calculation candle
• the BUY candidate can then be evaluated
The signal label is displayed on the later confirmation candle.
The trade Entry is stored at the close of that confirmation candle.
The script does not backdate the BUY or SELL trade label to the original pivot candle.
This means:
• the pivot price belongs to an earlier historical candle
• the signal becomes available later
• the displayed Entry reflects the later confirmation close
• increasing right-side bars increases confirmation delay
• decreasing right-side bars confirms smaller structures earlier
The script also requires barstate.isconfirmed for raw pivot candidates.
Signals are therefore based on completed chart candles.
This reduces unfinished current-candle changes, but it does not remove the inherent delay required by pivot confirmation.

The final score contains five components worth up to 20 points each:

It is not a probability forecast.
A 75% label does not mean there is a guaranteed 75% probability of profit.
It means the setup received 75 points out of the script’s 100-point quality model.
The Minimum Signal Strength input controls the required score.

The script maintains one active tracked trade.
However, new eligible signals are not ignored while a trade is active.
When a new eligible BUY or SELL signal appears:
• the current active trade is valued at the new signal candle’s close
• its current R result is added to statistics
• its active lines and labels are removed
• the new signal opens a new tracked trade
This behavior applies to eligible same-direction and opposite-direction signals.
The replacement exit is not a broker fill.
It is an internal close-based accounting rule used to keep only one active tracked trade.
Because replacement exits can occur before TP3, Stop Loss, or Break-Even, NET R can include partial positive or negative R outcomes.

The active Stop receives priority.
This applies to the original Stop Loss and the active Break-Even stop.
Trade-management checks begin on the candle after Entry.
The Entry candle cannot immediately close the new tracked trade.
The conservative priority rule can produce different results from lower-timeframe reconstruction or tick-level execution data.

Market Structure BOS, CHoCH, HH HL LH LL & Trend Health [LunqFX]Market structure is the skeleton of every trend: a series of higher highs and higher lows, or lower highs and lower lows, until a break says the trend has changed. This indicator maps that skeleton automatically — labelling every swing as HH, HL, LH or LL, drawing each Break of Structure (BOS) and Change of Character (CHoCH) — and adds one thing no other structure tool has: it tells you the trend is failing BEFORE the structure actually breaks.
❶ THE STRUCTURE MAP
▸ SWING LABELS — every confirmed swing point is labelled HH (higher high), HL (higher low), LH (lower high) or LL (lower low). The sequence of those four labels IS the trend, and having it on the chart removes the guesswork from reading price action.
▸ BOS — Break of Structure. Price closes through the last swing level in the direction of the trend: the trend is continuing. Drawn as a dashed line from the broken level with a BOS label.
▸ CHoCH — Change of Character. Price closes through the last swing level against the trend: the trend has flipped. Drawn as a solid, highlighted line — this is the reversal signal smart-money traders wait for.
▸ STRUCTURE CANDLES — the candles themselves are coloured by the structural trend, not by whether each bar closed up or down. Green means the market structure is bullish, violet means bearish, so the regime is obvious at a single glance. Their brightness fades as Trend Health falls.
❷ TREND HEALTH 0–100 — THE EARLY WARNING
Every other structure tool tells you a trend has ended after CHoCH prints. By then the move is already gone. Trend Health measures the two things that decay before every structure break:
▸ EXPANSION — in a healthy trend each new extreme clears the previous one by at least as much as the last leg did. When new highs barely exceed the old ones, the trend is running out of fuel.
▸ RETRACEMENT — in a healthy trend pullbacks stay shallow. When each pullback eats deeper into the previous leg, control is shifting to the other side.
Both are measured on the live leg, normalised by ATR so the score behaves the same on any symbol and timeframe, and blended into a single 0–100 reading. When it drops below your threshold the dashboard flags WEAKENING — while the trend is still technically intact. That is the warning CHoCH cannot give you, because CHoCH is confirmation, not anticipation.
❸ THE STRUCTURE TAPE
Instead of a table of numbers, the dashboard shows a timeline of the last five structure events, oldest to newest: BOS ▲ · BOS ▲ · CHoCH ▼ · BOS ▼. Reading the sequence tells you instantly whether the market is trending cleanly (a run of BOS in one direction) or chopping (CHoCH flipping back and forth) — context you cannot get from a single label on the chart.
❹ HOW TO TRADE IT
1 — Establish the bias from MARKET STRUCTURE in the panel. Bullish structure = look for longs, bearish = look for shorts. Do not fight it.
2 — Use BOS as continuation. A BOS in the direction of your bias confirms the trend is intact; the broken level often becomes support or resistance on the retest.
3 — Use CHoCH as the reversal trigger. A CHoCH against the prevailing trend is the earliest confirmed signal that structure has flipped. Wait for it before trading a reversal.
4 — Use TREND HEALTH for timing and risk. Health above 65 with a run of BOS on the tape = a clean trend, hold your position and trail. Health falling into WEAKENING = tighten stops, take partials, and stop adding — the structure is decaying and a CHoCH becomes more likely.
5 — Read the tape for market state. Several BOS in a row = trending market, trade continuations. Alternating CHoCH = choppy market, stand aside or trade the range instead.
❺ HOW IT WORKS
Swing points come from confirmed pivots, so a swing only exists once the bars on both sides of it have closed. The most recent swing high and swing low become the active structure levels. When a bar CLOSES beyond one of them (a wick-based mode is available), the break is registered: in the direction of the current trend it is a BOS, against it a CHoCH, and the trend state flips. Trend Health compares the size of the current expansion leg with the previous one in ATR units, and the depth of the latest pullback against the leg it retraced, then blends them 60/40 into the 0–100 score. Immediately after a CHoCH there is no second leg to compare yet, so the panel honestly reports NEW TREND instead of a misleading health reading.
Works on every symbol and timeframe — forex, gold, indices, crypto and stocks — because every threshold is either structural or ATR-normalised, with nothing to configure per market.

ST-EP06 is a multi-scale structural trend channel indicator built on a σ-normalized coordinate system. It is designed to solve one of the oldest unaddressed problems in technical analysis:
trend angles that cannot be compared across instruments, timeframes, or volatility regimes.
A trend line drawn on a chart appears to carry a measurable angle — yet that angle is an artifact of the display window, not a property of the market. Resize the chart horizontally and the slope flattens; compress it and the slope steepens. A given price movement on Gold daily and Bitcoin 1-hour may produce visually identical slopes on screen while reflecting entirely different structural conditions. This happens because traditional charts use a coordinate space where the vertical axis (price) and the horizontal axis (time) share no fixed dimensional relationship.
The consequence is not merely cosmetic. A trader cannot meaningfully compare the steepness of a trend on one instrument with another — or even across timeframes on the same instrument — because the weight of "one unit of price per bar" varies with the instrument's current volatility.
As the author of this indicator, I sought a coordinate system where trend angles would be an intrinsic structural property of the market, independent of charting software or display settings. The goal: a space where a 30° uptrend on EUR/USD weekly carries the same structural meaning as a 30° uptrend on NASDAQ 5-minute — indicating that each market is moving at the same rate relative to its own realized volatility.
The solution draws on the principle of dimensional analysis, well established in physics and engineering. Just as the Reynolds number normalizes fluid flow to make behavior comparable across different pipe sizes and fluid viscosities, this indicator normalizes price movement by realized volatility, producing a dimensionless space we call the Isotropic Coordinate System (ICS).
In ICS, price is expressed in natural logarithmic form and scaled by a volatility estimate (σ) derived from the Yang-Zhang (2000) method — a drift-invariant estimator that incorporates Open, High, Low, and Close data. The resulting vertical axis is dimensionless: one unit equals one standard deviation of recent realized price behavior. When trend angles are measured in this space, 45° indicates approximately one σ of movement per bar — whether the chart shows a penny stock, a major currency pair, or a commodity index.
Traditional chart coordinates assign no fixed relationship between the price axis and the time axis. Resizing the chart window changes the visual slope of the same price movement — a compressed view may show 52° while a stretched view of the same data shows 25°. The angle is a display artifact, not a market property. The Isotropic Coordinate System (ICS) addresses this by normalizing log-price by realized volatility (σ). 🔷 DATA ANCHORING
Every structural computation in ST-EP06 — volatility, block means, direction, channel coordinates, state machine transitions, and dashboard narrative — is governed by a single anchoring reference, selected through the Calculation Bar input.
Live Bar mode (default): the anchor is the current forming bar. Values update with each incoming tick. This is standard PulseWire behavior and means the indicator may exhibit intra-bar repaint — the live bar's data enters all computations as it evolves.
Close Bar mode: the anchor shifts to the last fully confirmed (closed) bar. The forming bar is excluded from every computation. Values lock once a bar closes and do not change retroactively. This mode is intended for structural analysis, back-testing, and any workflow where historical consistency is a priority.
One deliberate exception is maintained in both modes: the dashboard header always displays the current live closing price (Live Exception protocol), preserving real-time price awareness regardless of how the indicator's structural engine is anchored.
Two modes, same chart moment. In Live Bar the anchor sits on the forming bar, so every value updates tick-by-tick and may repaint within the bar. In Close Bar the anchor shifts to the last closed bar, locking all structural values once the bar closes. The only exception is the dashboard header row, which always displays the live closing price in both modes, so real-time price awareness is never lost.
🔷 YANG-ZHANG VOLATILITY (σ)
The foundation of the ICS is a robust volatility estimate. ST-EP06 uses the Yang-Zhang (2000) realized volatility estimator, an academically established method that combines three variance components:
Overnight variance — capturing the gap between consecutive sessions, measured from the prior close to the current open.
Intraday variance — capturing the movement from open to close within each session.
Range-based variance — using the Rogers-Satchell (1991) estimator, which extracts additional information from the high and low prices without assuming zero drift.
These three components are blended using an optimal weight that is designed to minimize estimation error. The resulting σ updates every bar, adapts to changing market conditions, and — crucially — is drift-invariant: it is intended to remain unbiased whether the market is trending strongly or mean-reverting.

Rather than analyzing individual bars, ST-EP06 partitions recent price history into consecutive non-overlapping blocks. Each block spans a user-defined number of bars (the Trend Block Period input) and is reduced to a single representative value: the geometric mean of the block's highest high and lowest low, computed in logarithmic space.
This log-midpoint serves as the block's central tendency. Unlike a simple average of closing prices, it captures the structural center of the entire price range within the block, avoiding bias toward any single price point. The number of consecutive blocks compared is controlled by the Trend Block Groups input — more groups means deeper lookback and the ability to detect longer structural trends.
Price history is partitioned into consecutive non-overlapping blocks. Each block reduces to a single log-midpoint — the geometric mean of its highest high and lowest low. Connecting the midpoints forms the representative chain used for trend detection.
🔷 DIRECTION DETECTION + ICS ANGLE
Once blocks are constructed, the engine compares their geometric means in sequence, starting from the most recent. It identifies the longest consecutive segment where each block's central tendency moves in the same direction — either consistently rising or consistently falling. A single reversal terminates the segment.
The slope of this segment is then measured in ICS space: the logarithmic price difference between the oldest and newest blocks in the segment, divided by σ, divided by the number of bars between them. The arctangent of this normalized slope produces the ICS angle in degrees.
If the absolute angle falls within the Range Threshold (a user-configurable dead zone in degrees), the direction is classified as ranging rather than trending. This threshold acts as a sensitivity filter — wider values require steeper moves before declaring a trend, narrower values respond to subtler directional shifts.
An ICS angle of 45° indicates approximately one σ of price movement per bar. An angle near 0° suggests the market may be structurally flat. Because σ adjusts for volatility and the logarithm adjusts for price level, these angles are intended to be directly comparable across any instrument and any timeframe.
🔷 CHANNEL FITTING
Within the identified trending segment, the engine locates four price extremes: the highest high, the lowest high, the highest low, and the lowest low — each paired with its bar position. These four points define two linear boundaries in ICS space.
During an uptrend, the upper boundary is fitted through the lowest high and highest high (capturing the rising ceiling), while the lower boundary is fitted through the lowest low and highest low (capturing the rising floor). During a downtrend, the fitting order reverses to capture descending structure. During a ranging market, the channel uses horizontal boundaries at the segment's absolute high and low.
All boundary computations occur in the σ-normalized logarithmic coordinate system, meaning the channel lines represent geometric (log-linear) paths in price space — curves that naturally follow multiplicative price behavior rather than additive assumptions.
Within the trending segment, four extremes — HH, LH, HL, LL — define two log-linear boundaries. In an uptrend, the upper line fits through LH and HH, the lower through LL and HL. The direction reverses the fitting order for downtrends, and a ranging market uses horizontal boundaries.
🔷 6-SCALE PARALLEL ANALYSIS
A single temporal scale may capture the trend at one resolution but miss structure at others. ST-EP06 runs the complete pipeline — volatility normalization, block construction, direction detection, ICS angle, and channel fitting — independently at six different scales: 3, 7, 13, 19, 29, and 47 bars per block. These values were chosen as prime numbers to minimize harmonic overlap between scales.
Scale 19 serves as the primary engine and maps to the user's Trend Block Period input. The other five scales use fixed periods, providing a structural context that the primary engine alone cannot offer.
The dashboard displays each scale's independent trend direction. A consensus count shows how many of the six scales agree: 5/6 or 6/6 agreement suggests a structural trend that is visible across multiple temporal resolutions, while low agreement may indicate transitional or conflicting structure.
🔷 BREAKOUT / RETEST STATE MACHINE
ST-EP06 includes a 5-state finite automaton that tracks price's structural relationship to the primary channel boundaries:
Inside — price is observed between the channel floor and ceiling. The dashboard shows the position as a percentage: distance from floor and distance to ceiling (summing to 100%).
Breakout Up / Breakout Down — price has exited above the ceiling or below the floor. The dashboard shows the breakout price and the percentage of channel width that price has moved beyond the boundary.
Retest Up / Retest Down — after a breakout, price has moved at least one σ away from the boundary (establishing distance), then returned to test it. The dashboard shows both the original breakout price and the current retest level.
Transitions between states use dynamic σ-based thresholds rather than fixed percentages, meaning the sensitivity automatically adjusts with market volatility. Additional flags track:
✓ Confirmed — a breakout that has been retested and bounced at least one σ away from the boundary.
(gap) — price crossed the entire channel width in a single transition.
Failed breakout — price re-entered the channel after initially breaking out.
Direction reset — the primary trend direction changed, wiping all breakout state.

All chart-overlay elements are drawn from the primary engine (scale 19):
Channel lines — solid upper and lower boundaries from the segment start to the anchor bar, colored by trend direction (configurable up/down/range colors, width, and line style).
Projection lines — dotted forward extension of the channel slopes beyond the anchor bar, providing a visual reference for potential future support and resistance. The projection offset, width, and style are independently configurable.
Channel fill — semi-transparent shading between channel boundaries, with independent color selection and adjustable transparency. Applies to both the solid channel and projection segments.
Diamond markers (◆) — placed at the channel endpoints on the anchor bar. Hovering reveals a tooltip with the anchored close price, ceiling level, floor level, and the price's position as a percentage of channel width.
