Problem Statement
A Judas Swing is commonly described as "price sweeps one side of the session open and reverses," but that description alone matches an enormous number of ordinary, low-quality wicks. Scripts that flag every such wick generate far more noise than usable signal, because a sweep and a close-back-inside is only the first half of the institutional sequence — it says nothing about whether the reversal has real structural or momentum support, or whether it agrees with the underlying daily trend.
This indicator addresses that gap by treating the Judas Swing as a seven-stage sequence and only surfacing a signal once every enabled stage has been satisfied on confirmed price data, with the overall setup then ranked by a disclosed, weighted confidence score.
Methodology
A session window (London Open, New York Open, or a fully custom session and timezone) drives an Initial Range engine that locks the session's high and low once a configurable opening window (5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes) elapses. The Initial Range is drawn as a transparent box and extends for the remainder of the session.
Once the Initial Range is locked, the script watches for a liquidity sweep: a wick that pierces beyond the Initial Range high or low by at least a minimum ATR-based distance, with the same candle closing back inside the range. This closing-back-inside requirement is what separates a genuine sweep-and-reject from an ordinary breakout continuation.
A confirmed sweep becomes a pending candidate. If Market Structure Confirmation is enabled, the candidate must be followed by a genuine structure shift measured against minor swing pivots that form strictly after the sweep bar: a higher high following a low-side sweep, or a lower low following a high-side sweep. Candidates that do not produce this structure shift within a configurable bar timeout are discarded with no signal created.
A qualifying candidate is then subjected to a Displacement Filter, requiring the confirming candle's body to reach a minimum ATR multiple, and an optional Higher Timeframe Bias check, requiring a fast/slow EMA relationship on a user-selected higher timeframe (e.g. 1H, 4H, Daily) to agree with the reversal direction. Only after every enabled stage passes does the script compute the Judas Confidence Filter score.
The Judas Confidence Filter combines five independently disclosed, user-weighted factors into a single 0-100 score: sweep depth (how far price pierced beyond the Initial Range in ATR units), displacement (the confirming candle's body size in ATR units), HTF agreement (the normalized separation between the fast and slow higher-timeframe EMA, reflecting how decisively the higher-timeframe trend supports the direction), rejection quality (where the sweep candle closed within its own range), and reversal aggression (how few bars elapsed between the sweep and structure confirmation). Weights are user-adjustable and auto-normalized. A signal is only plotted and only triggers alerts if its score meets the Minimum Confidence Score threshold — this is a genuine filtering mechanism that changes what is drawn, not a cosmetic label applied afterward.
Confirmed signals optionally draw an Entry Zone between the 50% and 62% retracement of the confirming displacement candle, reflecting where institutional-style retracement entries are commonly sought after a confirmed reversal, along with a stop-reference line at the sweep extreme. Both extend forward and are visually dimmed once price closes back through the sweep extreme, marking the setup invalidated.
Signal Workflow
Step 1 — the selected session opens and the Initial Range begins building from the session's first 5-30 minutes of price action.
Step 2 — the Initial Range locks; the script now watches for a liquidity sweep beyond either side of that locked range.
Step 3 — a wick pierces beyond the range by a minimum ATR distance and the same candle closes back inside, registering a pending sweep candidate.
Step 4 — if enabled, the candidate must be followed by a market structure shift measured against post-sweep swing pivots, within a bounded bar timeout.
Step 5 — the confirming candle must clear the ATR-based displacement threshold, and if enabled, the higher-timeframe EMA bias must agree with the reversal direction.
Step 6 — the completed sequence is scored by the Judas Confidence Filter across five weighted factors; only scores at or above the minimum threshold are plotted and alerted.
Step 7 — an optional 50%-62% entry zone and stop-reference line are drawn from the confirming candle and remain active until price closes back through the original sweep extreme.
Why This Indicator Is Different
Most public "Judas Swing" or session-sweep scripts fire on the sweep-and-close-back-inside event alone, with no structural or momentum confirmation and no higher-timeframe context.
This script models the full institutional sequence explicitly — session, Initial Range, sweep, rejection, structure shift, displacement, HTF agreement — and only creates a signal after every enabled stage resolves in order on confirmed bar closes.
The Judas Confidence Filter converts five independently disclosed factors, including reversal aggression measured in bars-to-confirmation and rejection quality measured from close position within the sweep candle's own range, into a single adjustable score rather than a binary flag.
Confidence weighting is fully exposed, letting the ranking be tuned toward sweep depth, displacement strength, higher-timeframe agreement, rejection quality, or reversal speed depending on the trader's approach.
The optional 50%-62% Entry Zone models a specific, disclosed institutional retracement convention rather than simply marking the signal bar.

Practical Usage
Use the status panel's HTF Bias reading as directional context before evaluating an individual Judas signal.
Treat a High-Confidence (Elite) signal as a materially stronger setup than one that merely clears the minimum threshold, since it reflects agreement across all five scored factors rather than a narrow pass.
Raise the Minimum Confidence Score on lower timeframes or noisy instruments to reduce the number of marginal signals generated.
Disable Require MSS Confirmation only if you specifically want to evaluate the sweep-and-rejection event on its own, understanding this removes one of the seven confirming stages.
Combine the alert feed with a broader trade plan, since each alert marks a structural event, not an execution signal.
Limitations
The Initial Range and session logic depend on the chart's intrabar data matching the selected session window; behavior on markets with irregular or 24-hour sessions may differ from traditional FX/futures sessions.
Market structure confirmation depends on minor swing pivots, which require bars to form on both sides before they confirm, introducing an inherent, bounded delay.
Confidence scoring is a relative, disclosed ranking and does not predict the outcome of any individual signal.
The higher-timeframe bias is read via a standard non-repainting security call and reflects EMA relationship only; it is not an independent trend-strength model.
As with any structure-based tool, results will vary across instruments, timeframes, and market regimes.

Every Smart Money indicator draws order blocks and tells you they work. This one scores them 0–100 and then forward-tests whether the score is actually true — on your instrument, on your timeframe.
It maps liquidity, detects stop-hunts, builds entry zones from the displacement that follows, confirms them with real order flow, and grades every zone that price returns to. Instead of "here is an order block, trust me", the panel tells you something like:
Tier-A zones returned +0.23R vs +0.08R for a matched control, n=61, t=2.1 — PROVEN
...or, just as usefully, NOT PROVEN. It is built to be able to tell you it doesn't work.
This is a research and framing tool. It is NOT a strategy, NOT a signal service, and NOT a validated edge.
WHY THESE PARTS ARE ONE TOOL (mashup rationale)
The Smart Money / ICT model is a SEQUENCE. Each step is meaningless on its own, and that is why they are combined here rather than sold as separate scripts:
1. LIQUIDITY POOLS — Stops cluster above equal highs (buy-side) and below equal lows (sell-side). Swing points within an ATR tolerance are clustered into a single pool; the more swings, the more stops resting there. A pool is not a signal. It is a magnet and a target.
2. THE SWEEP — Price wicks THROUGH the pool and closes back INSIDE it. That is a stop-hunt, and it is the only part of the sequence that reveals intent. A sweep alone is still not a trade.
3. DISPLACEMENT — An impulsive, ATR-normalised move away from the swept level. This is what separates a SWEEP (reversal) from a RUN (continuation).
4. THE ZONE — Displacement leaves footprints: a FAIR VALUE GAP (a three-bar imbalance) and an ORDER BLOCK (the last opposing candle before the impulse). Where an FVG sits INSIDE an order block, two independent structures agree — flagged as a confluence zone.
5. LOCATION — The zone is then judged on WHERE it sits. Against the VOLUME PROFILE (value area, point of control, and untested "naked" POCs), and against the DEALING-RANGE EQUILIBRIUM. A bullish zone in DISCOUNT is a zone you are being paid to buy; the same zone in premium is not.
6. ORDER FLOW — The question structure cannot answer: did anyone actually show up? Intrabar delta signs each lower-timeframe bar's volume by its own direction. A bullish zone born on NEGATIVE delta is a vacuum, not a footprint — and scores nothing for it.
7. THE ENTRY — Price is never chased. The engine arms only when price RETRACES into a fresh zone, then frames entry / stop / target — the target being THE NEXT OPPOSING POOL OF STOPS, because that is where the next batch of liquidity is resting.
8. THE CALIBRATION — Without it, everything above is folklore.
Remove any one of these and the tool marks noise, chases price, targets nothing, ignores where value actually is, or reports a confidence it has not earned.
THE SCORE (0–100, eight measurable components, no discretion)

Tiers: A (70+) · B (40–69) · C (below 40). Every weight is an input — if you think the sweep matters more than I do, turn it up, and let the calibration tell you whether you were right.
THE CALIBRATION — AND WHY IT IS HONEST
Every zone trade is paired with a MATCHED CONTROL: the same bar, the same direction, and the SAME R:R — but entered at market with an ATR stop instead of at the zone. This isolates exactly one variable: does entering AT THE ZONE beat entering anywhere else on identical geometry? Under a random walk, this control has zero expectancy, so anything the zones earn is real.
Each tier is tested against its OWN control, because an A-zone may carry a very different R:R from a C-zone, and a trade's hit rate depends on its R:R.
Results are reported as EXPECTANCY IN R, not hit rate. When R:R varies from trade to trade, a hit rate on its own is meaningless: a 6R winner at 20% is +0.4R (excellent), while a 1R winner at 55% is +0.1R (barely worth the commission).
A Welch t-test decides whether the difference is real or luck. The panel does not say "proven" unless t > 1.96.
The panel also answers the one question that matters most: DOES TIER A BEAT TIER C? If the scoring model has any value, A-grade zones must outperform C-grade zones. If they don't, the score is noise — and it will say so.
Conventions are deliberately chosen so the tool cannot flatter itself:
· Both barriers touched on the same bar → the STOP is assumed first.
· Expired trades are marked to market, not counted as wins or losses.
· Everything is logged and resolved on confirmed bars only.
HOW TO USE IT
1. Read the bias, the liquidity map, and the premium/discount shading. Pools above are buy-side, pools below are sell-side, and price usually travels from one to the other.
2. Wait for a SWEEP, then for a zone to be created by the displacement that follows.
3. Do NOT chase. The engine arms an entry only when price RETRACES into a fresh zone.
4. Watch for ABSORPTION at the zone — heavy volume, a small range, price holding. Someone is soaking up the aggression. That is a defended zone, and it is the best live confirmation available.
5. READ THE CALIBRATION BEFORE YOU WEIGHT ANY OF IT. If Tier A is not proven on your instrument and timeframe, a zone is a LOCATION, not a PROBABILITY — treat it as context only.
6. Entry / stop / target and the resulting R:R are drawn on the chart. They are arithmetic, not advice.
Do not tune the weights until the numbers turn green. That is curve-fitting, and the calibration exists to catch it — not to be defeated by it.
ORIGINALITY
The underlying SMC concepts are public and credited below. What is assembled here is the specific synthesis: an eight-component measurable score, the fusion of SMC structure with auction-theory location (volume profile and premium/discount), true intrabar order-flow confirmation, a per-tier matched control, expectancy-in-R reporting, and a significance test that can — and frequently does — return "not proven".
Clean-room implementation. No third-party Pine code is reused.
UNIVERSAL / DATA REQUIREMENTS
Works on any symbol and any timeframe — the engine is ATR-normalised throughout, so it adapts to the instrument rather than assuming point values.
Volume improves the score but is NOT required. On a symbol without real volume, the RVOL, volume-profile and order-flow components neutralise and the panel says so, rather than blanking or pretending.
Intrabar delta requires a timeframe strictly below the chart's. The script AUTO-MAPS this (1m→5s, 3m→15s, 5m→30s, 15m→1m, and so on) because if the intrabar timeframe equals the chart timeframe there is only ONE intrabar — the bar itself — and delta degenerates to ±100% on every bar. Where true intrabar data is unavailable, the script falls back to a close-location proxy AND LABELS IT AS A PROXY in the panel.
NON-REPAINTING
Pools, sweeps, displacement, zones, the volume profile, absorption and entries are ALL computed on confirmed bars only.
Swing points use ta.pivot* and are therefore known only AFTER their confirmation bars. This is why a liquidity pool appears a few bars after its swing. That delay is the honest cost of not repainting, and it is paid deliberately — a level that moves after the fact is worse than no level at all.
The higher-timeframe read uses lookahead_off with a live-bar offset. The calibration harness logs AND resolves on confirmed bars, so its statistics cannot inflate intrabar. Nothing here is drawn and then moved.
HONEST LIMITATIONS — PLEASE READ
Smart Money Concepts is a popular framework, not a proven one. That is precisely why this script measures it instead of asserting it.
The calibration figures are IN-SAMPLE, close-to-close, with NO costs or slippage, and they use overlapping windows. A proven in-sample edge is NOT a guarantee of out-of-sample results.
The rolling volume profile is an APPROXIMATION — each bar's volume is spread uniformly across the bins its range covers. It is not tick data.
Small samples are unreliable. A tier with a low "n" is provisional even if it looks good.
If the edge is near zero, negative, or unstable across timeframes, the honest conclusion is that this model carries no edge on that instrument. The tool is designed to be able to tell you that, and you should believe it when it does.
Nothing here predicts price.

Key Daily Levels by Flip On DipKey Daily Levels marks the reference points most intraday traders watch: the previous day high and low, and the high and low of a session you choose.
Sessions cover New York, London, Tokyo and Sydney, plus a custom option for any other window. Each preset uses the session's local exchange hours and adjusts for daylight saving on its own, so the times stay correct through the year instead of drifting an hour twice a year.
When a session extreme sits at the same price as the previous day high or low, the two are combined into one line instead of being drawn twice. The label then reads something like PDH (NY High), so both are kept without doubling up on the chart.
Each level is drawn from the bar where it formed and runs until price takes it out. The line stops on the exact bar that crossed it. The wick counts, so it doesn't wait for a close. A level still holding is shown solid; once it gets taken it turns dashed and fades, and a small check is dropped on the bar that swept it. A small table in the corner lists each level and whether it has been swept.
Cross detection accounts for gaps, and the trading day is read from each symbol's own calendar rather than a fixed clock, so levels stay accurate on crypto, futures and stocks, on continuous charts and gapped ones alike.
Colors, line styles and width, label options, the sweep marker and the table are all configurable.

A Sweep is triggered when a candle's wick breaks past a key swing high/low, but the candle close returns back inside (denoting rejection of liquidity).
Uses request.security() to evaluate these sweeps on your defined HTF and ITF timeframes.
Inversions:
Tracks Fair Value Gaps (FVGs).
An Inversion is triggered when the price closes completely through a recent opposing FVG (e.g. closing above a Bearish FVG, or closing below a Bullish FVG).
Trend Bias:
Calculates trend direction using a standard EMA crossover (50 EMA vs 200 EMA) to decide if the baseline market environment is Bullish, Bearish, or Neutral.

At the final bar (barstate.islast), the script builds a 2x4 table panel displaying:

📌 OVERVIEW

A sweep occurs when price trades beyond a previously confirmed swing high or swing low.
A reclaim occurs when price returns through that level and closes with enough directional strength to satisfy the active rules.
The engine does not treat the sweep itself as an entry.
Instead, it separates the process into distinct stages:

For a bullish setup, the engine studies a penetration below a confirmed swing low and a later close back above that level.

The script operates through several connected systems.
First, it confirms swing highs and swing lows using the selected pivot sensitivity.
Reactive mode uses shorter pivot lengths.
Balanced mode uses medium pivot lengths.
Structural mode uses wider pivot lengths and is the default.
Custom mode allows manual left-side and right-side pivot lengths.

A valid sweep moves the level into the Swept state.
The reclaim engine then waits for price to close back through the level within the selected window.
The reclaim must pass every enabled strength requirement.
The accepted candidate receives a quality score and grade.
If more than one candidate qualifies, the active Candidate Selection mode chooses the final candidate.
The final signal must also pass direction, bias, market, cooldown, cluster, duplicate-bar, and conflict rules.
Only after the bar closes with all conditions still valid can the permanent BUY or SELL reclaim signal and visual trade model appear.

A bullish sweep-reclaim setup begins with a confirmed swing low.
The swing low must be stored and remain eligible.
Price can then move close enough to place the level in the Armed state.
A bullish sweep is created when price penetrates below the swing-low level and the penetration satisfies the active sweep rules.
The engine may require:
• a wick-only penetration
• a wick or body penetration
• body participation beyond the level
• a minimum ATR-normalized depth
• a maximum ATR-normalized depth
• the first valid penetration attempt
• selection as the nearest valid level
• no simultaneous high-side sweep
After the low-side sweep, the bullish reclaim must occur inside the selected reclaim window.
The reclaim can require:

The script includes a multi-component quality system to reduce low-context reclaim signals.
This is important because not every sweep has the same structural meaning and not every reclaim candle has the same directional strength.
The quality engine evaluates eight components:
Sweep Depth — maximum 15 points
Measures where the penetration sits inside the active minimum-to-maximum sweep range.
The score favors a controlled sweep depth rather than automatically rewarding the deepest penetration.
Reclaim Close — maximum 20 points
Measures the directional location of the candle close.
A bullish setup receives more points when the reclaim closes near the top of the candle.
A bearish setup receives more points when the reclaim closes near the bottom.
Wick Rejection — maximum 15 points
Measures the directional rejection wick.
For multi-bar reclaims, the engine can also consider the stored sweep type and current reclaim structure.
Level Freshness — maximum 10 points
Newer levels generally receive more freshness points than levels that have remained active for a long time.
Relative Volume — maximum 10 points
Compares current volume with the selected baseline length.
When useful volume is not available, the engine avoids treating the setup as automatically invalid.
Displacement — maximum 15 points
Combines candle-body strength and the distance reclaimed through the level.
Market Condition — maximum 10 points
Uses candle range and ATR-regime information.
Level Cleanliness — maximum 5 points
Rewards levels with fewer prior interaction attempts.
The total is rounded and limited to 0–100.

📏 SWEEP / ATR FILTER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The sweep-depth filter measures the penetration beyond a swing level relative to ATR.
For a high-side sweep:
Sweep Depth = (High − Swing High) / ATR.
For a low-side sweep:
Sweep Depth = (Swing Low − Low) / ATR.
Minimum Sweep Depth rejects penetrations that may be too small to represent a meaningful liquidity event.
Maximum Sweep Depth rejects penetrations that may be too deep to represent a controlled sweep and may instead behave more like a breakout.
The default values are:
Minimum Sweep Depth = 0.05 ATR.
Maximum Sweep Depth = 0.80 ATR.
ATR normalization allows the threshold to adapt to changing volatility.
A 0.20 ATR sweep represents a relative move rather than a fixed number of points.
This helps the engine operate across different price scales.
However, ATR normalization does not make one configuration universally suitable.
A symbol with session gaps, irregular volume, or unusual volatility can still behave differently from another market.
A deeper sweep is not automatically a better setup.
Sweep depth is only one component of the complete reclaim process.

🕯️ DISPLACEMENT QUALITY FILTER

The displacement component evaluates whether the reclaim candle moves with enough directional force.
The engine considers:

• bullish or bearish directional recovery
For bullish setups, stronger displacement generally means:

• a close further above the reclaimed swing low
For bearish setups, stronger displacement generally means:
• a larger bearish body
• a close further below the reclaimed swing high
Reclaim Strength Mode can also impose a minimum body-size requirement before the setup reaches the quality-scoring stage.
Loose mode allows smaller directional bodies.
Balanced mode uses moderate requirements.
Strict mode requires stronger completed-candle behavior.
Custom mode exposes the manual threshold.
Displacement is not used as a prediction.
It is used to measure whether the completed reclaim candle demonstrates the selected degree of directional response.

The reclaim can occur on the sweep candle or the next candle.

The reclaim can occur within three bars and is the default.
Custom
The user selects the maximum number of bars.
The engine stores the sweep bar and compares the current bar with the allowed reclaim window.
The sweep state timeout is automatically prevented from becoming shorter than the active reclaim window.
A reclaimed setup can also be blocked by:
• insufficient close buffer
• weak close location
• weak candle body
• missing directional body

The active boxes and lines extend to the right as new candles appear.
The Entry line is intentionally pure white and visually thicker than the TP and SL references.
When TP is reached:
• the trade model closes
• active boxes and lines stop at the closing bar

• completed visuals can remain when Show Historical Trades is enabled
• completed visuals can be faded using Completed Trade Transparency
When SL is reached:
• the TP box is deleted
• the SL box is deleted

If a visual trade model is active, the engine does not open another trade model until the current model closes.
Block Signals During Active Trade can also prevent new final signal labels from being accepted while the active model is open.
Allow New Signal on Exit Bar controls whether a new model can open on the same candle that closes the current model.
The default is disabled.
This design separates:
• market-level calculation
• sweep and reclaim detection
• permission to create a new trade model
The engine can continue updating structural levels and market context while a model is active.
However, the one-active-model rule prevents overlapping TP / SL boxes and conflicting lifecycle states.
This is a visual-management rule.
It is not a restriction on the user’s personal trading activity.

The script begins checking TP and SL after the entry candle.
If both TP and SL are touched on the same later candle, standard OHLC data does not reveal the actual intrabar sequence.
The script therefore provides two selectable assumptions:
Stop First
The stop is processed before the target.
This is the default and more conservative assumption.
Target First
The target is processed before the stop.
This is the more optimistic assumption.
Neither option reproduces exact tick-level broker execution.
The model does not include:
• bid/ask spread
• slippage
• order latency
• partial fills
• queue priority
• execution venue rules
• intrabar tick order
Same-candle handling is a modeling choice required by the limits of standard bar data.

The core insight: price doesn't reverse at random support and resistance — it reverses where resting orders (liquidity) get consumed. A swing high above the market holds Buy-Side Liquidity (BSL); a swing low below it holds Sell-Side Liquidity (SSL). When price spikes through one of those levels and then closes back inside, that is a sweep: the move grabbed liquidity and rejected. Mirage finds those exact events, measures how clean the rejection was, and turns the strong ones into structured setups. It works on any market and any timeframe.
🧩 WHY THESE COMPONENTS WORK TOGETHER
A raw sweep detector fires on every wick that pokes a level — most of which go nowhere. A pure structure tool (CHoCH/BOS) tells you the trend flipped but not whether liquidity was actually taken first. A risk calculator gives you a stop and targets but has no idea where the trade should go. Used separately, each one leaves a gap the others could fill.
Mirage fuses them into a single pipeline:
Swing memory → Liquidity sweep detection → 5-factor quality score → CHoCH structure confirmation → Wick-anchored risk engine (SL / TP1-3 / break-even) → Liquidity target projection → Outcome tracking & stats
The swing engine remembers recent highs and lows and tags them as resting liquidity. The sweep detector only triggers when a level is pierced and reclaimed on the close — a stop-hunt, not a clean break. The quality score then rates that sweep so weak pokes are filtered out before they ever become signals. CHoCH confirmation (optional) makes price prove the reversal by breaking minor structure before you commit. The risk engine anchors the stop to the actual sweep wick — the precise point invalidating the idea — and projects the next opposite pool of liquidity as the logical objective. Finally, every closed setup is tracked so you can see the strategy's behavior in real time.
Without the score, you drown in low-quality sweeps. Without CHoCH, you front-run reversals that never come. Without wick-anchored risk, your stop sits in an arbitrary place. Without the liquidity target, you have no idea where the move is actually drawn. The combination is what turns "a wick touched a level" into a complete, rule-based trade.
🔍 WHAT MAKES IT ORIGINAL
1️⃣ 5-factor sweep quality score (0-100) — the heart of the system.
Every detected sweep is scored before it can qualify. The score blends five independent, normalized factors:
— 📐 Wick depth (weight 0.30): wickComp = min( max(wick, 0) / ATR , 1.0 ). For a bullish sweep, wick = min(open, close) − low; for bearish, wick = high − max(open, close). Bigger rejection wick relative to ATR = stronger grab.
— 🔄 Reclaim (weight 0.25): rclComp = min( max(reclaim, 0) / ATR , 1.0 ). Bullish reclaim = close − level; bearish = level − close. Measures how decisively price closed back on the right side of the swept level.
— 🕯️ Close position (weight 0.20): closePos = (close − low) / (high − low). For bulls the raw value is used; for bears it is inverted (1 − closePos). Rewards candles that close near the rejection extreme.
— 📊 Volume (weight 0.15): volComp = clamp( (volRatio − 1) / (volMult − 1) , 0, 1 ), where volRatio = volume / SMA(volume, 21) and volMult defaults to 1.5×. On volume-less feeds this factor neutralizes to 0.5 automatically.
— 🧭 HTF bias (weight 0.10): htfComp = 1.0 if the sweep aligns with the higher-timeframe EMA trend, else 0 (or 0.5 if the filter is off).
Final score = (wickComp×0.30 + rclComp×0.25 + cpComp×0.20 + volComp×0.15 + htfComp×0.10) × 100.
A sweep only qualifies when its score ≥ Min Sweep Score (default 50). This single number is your master quality dial.
2️⃣ Sweep vs. break distinction — closes decide everything.
A stored level is treated three ways. For a swing low: if price closes below it, the level is simply consumed (a real breakdown — no signal). If price wicks below but closes back above, that is a bullish sweep. The mirror logic applies to swing highs. This close-based rule is what separates a genuine liquidity grab from a trend break, and it is why the detector ignores most noise wicks.
3️⃣ Two-stage signal — sweep then CHoCH confirmation.
With confirmation on (default), a qualifying sweep becomes a pending setup rather than an instant entry. The signal only fires when price then breaks the most recent minor pivot (Change of Character) within the Confirmation Window (default 13 bars). Minor structure is tracked with its own pivot length (default 8). Turn confirmation off and the signal fires on the sweep bar itself — responsive, but earlier. Pending setups expire automatically if no CHoCH arrives in time.
4️⃣ Wick-anchored risk engine with a minimum-distance guard.
Entry = close of the signal bar. The stop is placed beyond the actual sweep wick:
— Long: SL = sweepLow − ATR×buffer
— Short: SL = sweepHigh + ATR×buffer
If the resulting stop sits closer than ATR×0.5 to entry, it is widened to exactly ATR×0.5 to avoid an unrealistically tight stop. Risk distance dist = |entry − SL|, and targets are pure R-multiples: TP1/TP2/TP3 = entry ± dist × multiplier.
5️⃣ Risk presets — one click from scalp to swing.
Five presets set buffer / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 instantly (SL buffer in ×ATR, TPs in R):
— Conservative: 0.50 / 1R / 2R / 4R
— Balanced (default): 0.25 / 1R / 2R / 3R
— Aggressive: 0.15 / 1.5R / 2.5R / 4R
— Scalping: 0.10 / 0.8R / 1.5R / 2R

6️⃣ Break-even automation after TP1.
When TP1 is touched, the stop moves to entry. From the next bar a wick back to entry closes the trade at break-even — protecting the position once it has paid out its first target. The SL line dims and the entry label annotates "→ SL (BE)" so the state is always visible.
7️⃣ Resting liquidity map — BSL / SSL + EQH / EQL.
Every un-swept swing high is drawn as Buy-Side Liquidity and every un-swept swing low as Sell-Side Liquidity (most recent N per side, default 6). A level disappears the instant it is swept, so the map always shows live, untapped pools. Consecutive near-equal swings (within Equal H/L Tolerance × ATR, default 0.15) are connected as Equal Highs / Equal Lows — the strongest liquidity magnets and the most common sweep targets.
8️⃣ Liquidity target projection — the draw-on-liquidity objective.
On each entry, Mirage projects a line to the nearest opposite un-swept liquidity pool: a long aims at the closest BSL above entry, a short at the closest SSL below. This is the logical place the move is "drawn" toward, independent of the fixed R-multiple TPs.
9️⃣ Higher-timeframe bias as a soft, non-repainting filter.
The HTF trend (close vs. EMA, default 4H / EMA-50) is requested with confirmed prior-bar values and contributes only 10% of the score — it nudges quality rather than hard-blocking signals, so counter-trend sweeps can still fire if they are clean enough.
🔟 Honest, transparent outcome tracking.
The dashboard records every closed setup: wins, losses, win rate (with a visual gauge), and a recent-form strip of the last 10 results. A setup is counted as a WIN the moment TP1 is touched, and a trade closes on a stop-out or when TP3 is reached. This definition is stated openly so you always know exactly what the numbers mean — see Important Notes for the full caveats.
🧠 HOW IT WORKS — CALCULATION FLOW
Step 1 — Map the swings: Confirmed pivot highs/lows (length 21) are stored in bounded memory and tagged as un-swept BSL/SSL.
Step 2 — Detect a sweep: On each new bar, un-swept levels within Max Sweep Distance (default 80 bars) are checked. A wick-through-then-close-back-inside event is flagged as a sweep; a close beyond the level just marks it consumed.
Step 3 — Score it: The 5-factor formula rates the sweep 0-100. Only sweeps at or above Min Sweep Score, after warm-up, on a confirmed bar, qualify.
Step 4 — Resolve the signal: If CHoCH confirmation is on, the sweep becomes a pending setup and waits for a minor-structure break within the window; otherwise it fires immediately.
Step 5 — Build the trade: Entry, wick-based SL (with the ATR×0.5 minimum guard), and TP1/TP2/TP3 as R-multiples are calculated. Only one position runs at a time.
Step 6 — Manage it: Bar by bar, hits are checked on confirmed bars. TP1 triggers break-even; a stop-out or TP3 closes and records the result.
Step 7 — Visualize & report: Lines, labels, the liquidity map, the target projection, and the dashboard all update live.
📖 HOW TO USE (beginner-friendly)
🎯 Quick start — 5 steps:
1. Add the indicator to any chart and any timeframe (15m–4H is a good starting range).
2. Leave every setting on default. The Balanced preset and a Min Score of 50 are a sensible baseline.
3. Wait for a green Long ▲ or red Short ▼ marker. That is your entry signal — and it only appears once a sweep has passed the quality score (and, by default, a CHoCH confirmation).
4. Read the entry, stop, and three targets straight off the chart lines and labels. The numbers are already calculated for you.
5. Manage the trade using TP1/TP2/TP3 and the automatic break-even — see the dashboard for live status.

— 🟢 Long ▲ / 🔴 Short ▼ = a confirmed signal (a trade opened here).
— ✖️ Small × mark = a raw sweep (liquidity was grabbed) — shown even when no trade opens.
— Dashed level line = the swing high/low that was swept, drawn from where it formed.
— Thick vertical tick = the penetration depth — how far the wick pierced beyond the level.
— ENTRY line = where the trade opened. SL line (red) = stop. TP1/TP2/TP3 lines = targets; a target turns solid teal with a ✓ once touched.

🔧 Tuning guide (common fixes):
— Too few signals? Lower Min Sweep Score (e.g. 40-45), shorten Swing Length, or turn off CHoCH confirmation for earlier entries.
— Too many weak signals? Raise Min Sweep Score (60+), keep CHoCH on, and enable the Volume filter.
— Stops feel too tight/wide? Switch presets (Conservative widens, Scalping tightens) or set the SL buffer manually in Custom.
— Choppy market? Increase Swing Length and lean on the HTF bias filter so only trend-aligned sweeps score highly.
💡 Trading ideas:
— EQH/EQL hunt: watch a marked Equal High/Low — when it is swept and reclaimed with a high score, the rejection is often clean.
— Draw-on-liquidity: use the gold target line as a partial-exit zone; price frequently reaches the next opposite pool.
— Confirmation toggle: use CHoCH-on for selective swing entries, CHoCH-off on lower timeframes for faster scalps.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
— 🚫 No repainting. Signals require confirmed bars (barstate.isconfirmed); swing pivots use equal left/right lookback, so the actual pivot is in the past by Swing Length bars and is drawn only once confirmed — this is delayed confirmation, not repainting of future values. The HTF bias is requested with confirmed prior-bar values, and all alerts fire on bar close.
— 📊 How wins are counted: a setup is marked a WIN as soon as TP1 is touched (1R by default). A trade that reaches TP1 and then reverses to break-even still counts as a win. This is a deliberately transparent definition, not an inflated one — read it that way when interpreting the win rate.
— 📐 Stats are session-based and simulated. The dashboard reflects the indicator's own single-position logic on the loaded history and resets when the chart reloads. It is not a broker-accurate backtest and includes no fees, slippage, or funding.
— ⚖️ One position at a time. A new signal can only open while flat — sweeps that occur mid-trade are shown but not traded.

HOW IT WORKS
The script detects swing pivots and clusters nearby highs (and nearby lows) into single liquidity zones using an ATR-based tolerance, so the levels travel across instruments without re-tuning. Each zone gets a strength score from 0 to 100 built from three factors:
• Touches — how many times price reacted at the level
• Freshness — recent levels score higher and decay over time (configurable half-life)
• Volume — relative volume that accumulated at the level

The HTF Session Sweep Model is a session-based market structure tool designed to help traders observe how price interacts with the previous confirmed higher-timeframe candle during active trading sessions.
This script was created because session trading can become messy when traders manually mark multiple highs, lows, opens, boxes, sweeps, breakouts, and traps across different timeframes. Instead of adding unrelated indicators together, this model uses one central reference point: the previous confirmed HTF candle. Once an enabled session begins, the script maps that HTF candle’s high, low, midpoint, and optional session open level onto the chart. Price action during that session is then classified around that reference range.
The purpose of the script is not to predict price. The purpose is to provide a clean framework for reading session behaviour around a higher-timeframe range.
Core Concept
The script is built around the idea that the previous higher-timeframe candle can provide useful reference levels for intraday price behaviour. Its high and low can act as areas where liquidity may be taken, where breakouts may develop, or where failed breakouts may occur.
The model does not project the HTF candle before the session opens. It activates when an enabled session opens. At that point, it takes the most recent fully confirmed HTF candle and uses it as the active session reference.
This creates a consistent question for the trader:
How is price reacting around the previous confirmed HTF candle during the current session?
What Makes This Script Original
This script is not designed as a simple combination of unrelated indicators. The components are connected through one session-based model:
1. Session engine
The script allows users to enable Asia, London, and New York sessions. Each session can use its own time window and timezone setting.
2. HTF reference map
At the start of an enabled session, the script maps the previous confirmed HTF candle. This includes the HTF high, low, midpoint, optional candle body, and optional session open level.
3. Sweep model
The script checks whether price sweeps above the HTF high or below the HTF low. Users can choose between a basic wick sweep or a stricter sweep that requires price to close back inside the HTF range.
4. Delivery shift confirmation
After a sweep occurs, the script can wait for a delivery shift confirmation before marking a sweep entry. A bearish confirmation requires price to break below a recent low range after a high sweep. A bullish confirmation requires price to break above a recent high range after a low sweep.
5. Breakout model
If price closes and holds outside the HTF range, the script can classify the move as a breakout. Users can set how many bars price must hold beyond the range.
6. Displacement filter
The breakout model can optionally require stronger candle movement by comparing the candle body against ATR. This helps filter weaker breaks that do not show meaningful displacement.
7. Failed breakout trap model
If price breaks beyond the HTF high or low and then returns back inside the range, the script can classify that move as a failed breakout trap. A Bull Trap means price broke above the HTF high and failed back inside. A Bear Trap means price broke below the HTF low and failed back inside.
These parts work together because they all answer the same question: did price sweep the HTF range, accept beyond it, or fail after breaking it?
How The Script Calculates The Model
When a new enabled session begins, the script requests the previous confirmed candle from the selected higher timeframe. The selected HTF may be adjusted by the user, such as 1H, 2H, 4H, Daily, or Weekly.
The script then stores the following values:
* Previous HTF open
* Previous HTF high
* Previous HTF low
* Previous HTF close
* Previous HTF midpoint
* Current session open
These values become the session reference map.
During the active session, the script checks price against the HTF high and low.
High Sweep:
A high sweep is detected when price trades above the previous HTF high.
Low Sweep:
A low sweep is detected when price trades below the previous HTF low.
Close Back Inside Sweep Mode:
When this stricter mode is selected, a high sweep requires price to close back below the HTF high. A low sweep requires price to close back above the HTF low.
Sweep Entry:
A sweep entry is not triggered by the sweep alone. After a sweep, the script waits for a delivery shift confirmation using the selected lookback length.
Breakout Long:
A breakout long is detected when price closes above the HTF high and holds above it for the selected number of bars.
Breakout Short:
A breakout short is detected when price closes below the HTF low and holds below it for the selected number of bars.
Bull Trap:
A bull trap is detected when price breaks above the HTF high but later closes back below the HTF high.
Bear Trap:
A bear trap is detected when price breaks below the HTF low but later closes back above the HTF low.
Volume Filter:
The optional volume filter compares current volume against a moving average of volume multiplied by the selected volume multiplier. When enabled, sweep and breakout conditions must also pass the volume filter.
Bar Close Confirmation:
The script includes an option to confirm signals only after the bar closes. This is enabled by default to make signals more stable for alerts and historical review.
How To Use This Script
1. Choose the reference timeframe
Select the HTF candle you want to use as the session reference. Intraday traders may use 1H, 2H, or 4H. Higher-timeframe traders may prefer Daily or Weekly.
2. Enable the sessions you trade
The script supports Asia, London, and New York sessions. Users can enable or disable each session and adjust the session window and timezone.
3. Watch the HTF range during the session

This indicator is based on an open-source "Change in State of Delivery (CISD)" community script, which detects the ICT concept of a delivery shift — the moment price reverses and closes back through the opening level of the opposing momentum leg that produced it. The original tracks swing-point liquidity, detects bullish and bearish CISD events using a displacement-ratio test, marks the origin level, and flags "strong" CISDs that occur right after opposing liquidity is swept. This version keeps that detection engine intact and adds a Viprasol confluence and execution layer: a 0-4 confluence score with A/B/C grading, optional volume-surge and higher-timeframe bias filters, a signal cooldown, a minimum-score gate, and an ATR-anchored Entry/SL/TP risk overlay drawn on qualified signals.
It is built for ICT/SMC traders who use CISD as a confirmation of intraday delivery direction and want each event graded by confluence, with optional filters and an automatic risk projection.
How It Works
Swing Liquidity (from original):
Pivot highs and lows over the swing period create horizontal liquidity lines that extend forward each bar. A line is mitigated when price trades through it (high >= level for a high, low <= level for a low) on a confirmed bar, and removed; lines older than the expiry threshold stop updating. The most recently mitigated high and low, and how many bars ago they were taken, are retained for the sweep test below.
CISD Detection (from original):
When a candle flips color (a down candle followed by an up candle, or vice versa), its open is stored as a potential CISD origin along with its bar index. On each later bar the script checks whether price has closed back beyond that stored open. If it has, it measures the displacement of the leg as a ratio: for a bearish CISD, (highest close in the leg − origin open) / (top of the bearish run − origin open). If that ratio exceeds the Noise Filter, the event qualifies as a CISD, the origin level is drawn, and the trend state flips. Weaker candidates are discarded and the scan continues to older candidates.
Liquidity-Sweep Confluence (from original):
A CISD is flagged "strong" when it fires within the liquidity-lookback window after the opposing liquidity was swept — a bearish CISD where a swing high was just taken and price closed back below it, or a bullish CISD where a swing low was taken and price closed back above. These print the labeled sweep arrows.
Confluence Score & Grade (new):
Every CISD event is scored 0-4 by summing four independent confluence checks:
score = strongDisplacement? + liquiditySweep? + htfAligned? + volumeSurge?
- strongDisplacement = the measured ratio is at least halfway between the Noise Filter and 1.0 (a decisively strong leg, not a marginal one).
- liquiditySweep = the original sweep confluence is present.
- htfAligned = the CISD direction agrees with the higher-timeframe EMA.
- volumeSurge = volume on the CISD bar exceeds its rolling average × the multiplier.
The score maps to a grade — A (>= 3), B (= 2), C (<= 1) — labeled at the origin level.
Filters & Qualified Signals (new):
Four optional gates can be applied without altering the original CISD drawing: a volume-surge requirement, a higher-timeframe EMA bias (bull only above, bear only below), a per-signal cooldown (minimum bars between qualified signals), and a minimum-confluence-score requirement. A CISD that passes all active gates becomes a "qualified" signal, which is what the risk overlay and the two new qualified alerts use. With every gate at its default (cooldown 0, filters off, min score 0), every CISD qualifies and the original behaviour is unchanged.
Risk Overlay (new):
On a qualified CISD, the script projects three lines: Entry at the CISD origin level, Stop-Loss beyond the CISD swing extreme (the highest/lowest close captured during detection) plus an ATR buffer, and Take-Profit at Entry ± risk × the Risk:Reward ratio, where risk is the Entry-to-SL distance. Colored ENTRY/SL/TP price labels mark the line ends. Only the most recent qualified signal's projection is kept, to avoid clutter.

- Filters and the minimum-score gate reduce the number of qualified signals; in choppy conditions valid CISDs may not qualify, while with all gates off qualified signals equal raw CISDs.
