How it works

Swing Detection Length — how many bars define a swing high/low. Lower = more (and smaller) order blocks; higher = fewer, more significant ones.
Max Displayed Blocks (Per Type) — cap on how many bull/bear blocks show at once, oldest gets dropped first.
Delete OB on Full Invalidation — auto-removes a block the moment price fully closes through it, so dead zones don't clutter the chart.
Machine Learning Training Lookback — how much history the model trains on each retrain cycle. More = smoother/slower-adapting probabilities; less = more reactive to recent conditions.
Retrain Frequency (Bars) — how often the model retrains. Lower = fresher but more compute-heavy; higher = more stable scores.
Bullish/Bearish OB Color — self-explanatory, sets zone colors.
3D Depth Shift (Bars/Ticks) — controls the offset of the "rear" face that creates the 3D look. Bigger = more pronounced depth effect.

This indicator identifies price areas where former supply may become demand. Instead of marking every pivot or zone touch, it looks for complete market structures supported by price action, volume, trend context, separation, and confirmed buyer response.
The indicator includes three independent detection paths:
1. CLASSIC SUPPLY-TO-DEMAND FLIP
The indicator first finds a qualified supply rejection and tracks the seller-controlled decline that follows it.
A potential flip requires:
• A confirmed supply pivot with meaningful rejection
• Sufficient upper wick, bearish departure, and relative volume
• A completed seller-controlled decline terminating at confirmed demand
• A strong breakout above the supply area
• Acceptance above supply, normally through consecutive closes
• At least one complete candle trading above the zone before a later return
The original supply zone remains hidden until price returns to it. The first touch reveals the area, but a touch alone does not produce an S→D arrow.
An S→D arrow appears only when a confirmed demand pivot forms inside the original supply zone and passes the wick, reaction, volume, and separation requirements.
This distinction helps separate:
• Price merely returning to a level
• Buyers actually defending former supply as demand
2. BULLISH CONTINUATION BASES
The continuation-base engine detects compact, high-volume shelves that form during an existing bullish movement.
A qualifying base requires:
• A bullish impulse before the base
• A compact multi-bar price shelf
• Consistent participation across the base
• Controlled price spread and limited rollover
• Bullish EMA and VWAP alignment
• A decisive breakout with sufficient body, volume, and closing strength
After price separates above the base and later returns, the indicator displays the original base area and places a BASE arrow beneath the retest candle.
This path is designed for continuation structures that do not begin as traditional supply-rejection pivots.
3. PROGRESSIVE SUPPLY TAKEOVER
Some supply areas are not broken through a clean breakout followed by a later retest. Buyers may instead take control progressively from the lower boundary toward the upper boundary.
The progressive-takeover path looks for:
• Demand appearing near the lower edge of supply
• A close back inside or above the lower boundary
• Preservation of the demand low
• Consecutive accepted closes above the supply top
• Renewed volume during upper-edge acceptance
When confirmed, the original supply area becomes the active demand zone.
The S→D arrow is placed on the candle where the defended demand low originally formed, although confirmation occurs later.
UNDERSTANDING THE DISPLAY
• Green shaded area — Former supply or a continuation base now being monitored as demand
• Red shaded structure — The original supply and seller-control formation
• Aqua shaded structure — The original bullish continuation base
• S→D arrow — Confirmed demand inside a flipped supply zone
• BASE arrow — Retest of a qualified bullish continuation base
• Red INVALID marker — A previously retested demand zone was later broken
The indicator intentionally avoids large external callout labels so price action remains visible.
CONFIRMATION TIMING
The indicator uses confirmed bars and confirmed pivots by default.
Pivot-based demand cannot be known on the support candle itself because later bars are required to confirm that the low held.
For this reason, an S→D arrow may be placed historically on the actual demand candle several bars after that candle occurred.
This keeps the historical chart honest:
• The marker identifies where demand formed
• The signal becomes available only when the required confirmation bars have completed
Intrabar confirmation can be enabled or adjusted through the settings, but confirmed-bar operation is recommended.
ZONE INVALIDATION
Zones can be invalidated using either:
• Close — Price must close beneath the buffered zone boundary
• Wick — A qualifying wick beneath the boundary can invalidate the zone
A small ATR-based buffer can be applied to prevent insignificant penetrations from immediately invalidating a structure.
A valid historical retest is not erased when the zone later fails. The area is frozen at the failure point, and an INVALID marker records the later break.

Sphinx Key Levels DOL Graded Supply & DemandA draw-on-liquidity (DOL) map that plots the reference levels price is drawn toward, then builds supply and demand zones ONLY at those levels using an ICT-style delivery sequence. The aim is confluence by construction: rather than printing supply/demand everywhere, a zone can only exist where a tracked liquidity level was actually raided.
What it plots
Liquidity levels (each toggleable): prior day, week and month highs/lows; prior Asia and London session highs/lows; and the overnight high/low. Nearby levels are merged into a single graded band so the chart stays readable, and untested ("naked") levels are weighted up, since unswept liquidity tends to act as a stronger magnet.
Equilibrium references, kept separate from liquidity: midnight, 08:30 and 09:30 opens, plus optional weekly and monthly opens. A compact table reads price as premium or discount against each open.
Opening gaps: NDOG (new day) and NWOG (new week), drawn at their true range with a consequent-encroachment midline.
How the zones are built
For each enabled level, the script runs a four-step sequence:
Sweep - price trades through the level, raiding the short-term liquidity resting beyond it.
Reclaim - price closes back on the origin side within a set window, rejecting the raid.
Order block - the last opposite-close candle into the swept extreme is marked as the zone, optionally extended to the swept wick so a protective stop can sit beyond the raided liquidity.
Displacement - a fair value gap must form in the move away from the level to validate the zone. No FVG within the window, no zone. This step can be turned off to draw on the order block alone.
A high-type level that is swept and reclaimed produces a supply zone; a low-type level produces a demand zone. Only enabled level types generate zones, so selecting, for example, only prior day high/low restricts zones to those two levels. Each level holds one live zone at a time. A zone is mitigated when price closes through its far side, and by default a zone expires when its underlying level rolls to a new session, so a zone only remains on the chart while a live level of that type stands behind it.
Alerts
Three conditions: a new zone forms, price enters an active zone, and a zone is mitigated.
Notes
Higher-timeframe values use confirmed prior-period data and do not repaint after a bar closes. Zone detection runs on the live bar by default, so a forming zone can update until that bar closes and is fixed on close; an option is included to confirm zones only on closed bars for users who prefer no intrabar movement. Session times are New York based. Built for intraday index futures on sub-hourly charts; other symbols and timeframes will need the sweep and displacement windows retuned.

What it is
Large participants cannot fill size at a single price, so they leave a footprint: the last opposing candle before an aggressive, imbalanced push. That candle marks the zone where unfilled orders rest and where price often returns to be re-accumulated or re-distributed. This indicator locates those zones objectively, manages their lifecycle, and frames the reaction as a trade. It is an original order-block engine with strict zone management.
How it works
• Displacement — the engine measures each impulsive leg over a short window against an ATR multiple. Only moves that exceed that threshold (optionally requiring a fair-value gap) count as institutional displacement, filtering out ordinary candles.
• Order block — the last opposing candle before a qualifying displacement is stored as a zone: the last down candle before a bullish push becomes demand, the last up candle before a bearish push becomes supply.
• Zone management — active blocks are held in parallel arrays, drawn as boxes extended to the right, faded by age and saturated by displacement strength, pruned once mitigated (price closes through them), and capped at a live maximum so the chart stays clean.
• Signals — a Buy fires when price taps a fresh demand block and closes back up (a bullish rejection); a Sell is the mirror at a supply block. An optional trend filter keeps you buying demand in uptrends and selling supply in downtrends, and a minimum-age plus minimum-gap rule stops a freshly formed block from self-triggering and prevents clustering.
Trade levels
Each signal draws a red risk box from entry to a stop placed beyond the block and a green reward box to the third target, with inner dividers and right-edge labels for entry, stop and each take-profit at your R multiples.

An adjustable order-flow-depth panel shows the trend bias, the live counts of demand and supply blocks, the distance to the nearest zone, a conviction estimate, the active signal, and a live first-target-before-stop tally from closed bars only.

The mechanism is straightforward. Each zone is built from a confirmed price swing, and from that moment it is tracked as a living object. Every time price returns, the indicator records what happened — a clean rejection (retest), a failed push-through that snaps back (also a retest), or a decisive break. From that record it computes one honest number, Held: the share of retests where the zone successfully pushed price away. A zone that has held four of five tests is immediately separated from one that keeps breaking.
That same track record then drives what you see. Instead of showing every zone, the indicator surfaces a small set of the most useful ones — ranked by how reliably they have held, how often they have been tested, and how close they are to current price. The result is a clean chart focused on the zones that have actually proven themselves, rather than a wall of boxes you have to filter by eye.

Most supply and demand tools draw every zone the same way and leave the trader to guess which ones still matter.
This indicator takes the position that a zone's history is more informative than its existence. A level that has been tested five times and held four of them is telling you something a fresh, untested level cannot. So instead of treating zones as static boxes, the indicator watches every interaction — bounces, failed breakouts, and clean breaks — and turns that record into a measurable hold rate. A zone earns its place on your chart by performing, not just by existing.

ZONE DETECTION AND BOUNDARIES
What is a zone?
A zone is a price area drawn around a recent swing high or swing low. A swing high becomes a supply zone (an area sellers defended); a swing low becomes a demand zone (an area buyers defended). New zones are only created when they don't overlap an existing one, so the chart never stacks duplicate boxes on the same level.
Why does it matter?
Swings are where the market actually changed its mind, which makes them the most natural place to expect a future reaction. Building zones only from confirmed swings — and skipping overlaps — keeps the set of zones meaningful instead of cluttered. Clean, non-overlapping detection is the foundation everything else builds on: the track record and ranking are only as useful as the zones they start from.
How is it detected and calculated?
The indicator waits for a swing to confirm using the Swing Period: a high or low only counts once that many bars have printed on both sides of it. The zone's outer edge sits at the swing's extreme (the high for supply, the low for demand). The inner edge is set using the average wick of the candles around the swing, so the zone covers the real reaction area rather than a single thin line. Because a swing needs bars on both sides to confirm, each zone appears a fixed number of bars after the swing itself — a normal, non-repainting delay rather than a level that appears and disappears.
Settings
Swing Period — how many bars must confirm a swing on each side before it forms a zone. Higher = fewer, more significant zones; lower = more zones that react faster to price. Default 30.
Lookback — how far back the indicator looks for zones, in bars. Higher keeps older zones on the chart; lower focuses on recent price action. Default 2000.
RETESTS AND FAILED BREAKOUTS
What is a retest?
A retest is when price returns to a zone, touches it, and is rejected — closing back out on the same side it came from. This is the classic supply/demand reaction: price revisits the area and the zone pushes it away. A failed breakout — price pushing through the zone but then closing back inside it — is also counted as a retest, because the zone ultimately won.
Why does it matter?
Retests are the evidence that a zone is still active. A level that keeps rejecting price is one the market is clearly watching. Counting failed breakouts as retests is important too: a level that traps breakout traders and reclaims is often the strongest kind of level, and ignoring those events would understate a zone's true strength.
How is it detected and calculated?
On each closed bar, a zone is checked for a reaction: for a supply zone, price reaching into the zone but closing back below it counts as a retest; for a demand zone, reaching in but closing back above. To avoid over-counting when price lingers at a level, a Retest Cooldown requires a minimum number of bars between two counted retests on the same zone. Separately, if price closes clean through a zone and then closes back inside it on the next resolution, that failed breakout is recorded as a retest as well. All events are evaluated only on confirmed (closed) bars, so nothing is counted on an unfinished candle.
Settings
Retest Cooldown — waits this many bars before counting another test of the same zone, so price lingering at a level isn't counted as many separate retests. Default 3.
Retests (toggle + marker) — show or hide retest markers and choose their shape (Circle, Triangle, Cross, Diamond).
BREAKOUTS AND ZONE FLIPS
What is a breakout?
A breakout is when price closes decisively through a zone and keeps going, rather than being rejected. When a zone breaks, it flips: a broken supply zone becomes a demand zone, and a broken demand zone becomes a supply zone — the same idea as old resistance becoming new support. Crucially, the zone keeps its history through the flip; it doesn't start over.
Why does it matter?
A clean break is the opposite of a hold, and tracking it is what makes the Held statistic meaningful. The flip behaviour also reflects how these levels really work in practice — a level that breaks rarely disappears; it changes role. Keeping each zone's full history across flips means a level that has been a battleground through several cycles is shown as exactly that.
How is it detected and calculated?
When price first closes through a zone, the zone enters a pending state. The very next resolution decides what happened: if price closes through again, it is confirmed as a breakout and the zone flips its side; if price instead closes back inside, it is recorded as a failed breakout (a retest). This two-step confirmation avoids calling a breakout on a single bar that immediately reverses. Each flip also starts a new coloured time segment, so the zone's box visually records when it was supply and when it was demand across its life.
Settings
Breakouts (toggle + marker) — show or hide breakout markers and choose their shape. Off by default to keep the chart clean.
THE HELD STATISTIC
What is Held?
Held is the heart of the indicator. It answers a simple question: when price comes back to this zone, how often does the zone actually hold? It is shown on each zone's stats label as a count and a percentage, for example "Held: 4 (80%)" — meaning four of the zone's five retests successfully held.
Why does it matter?
This is the number that separates a level worth trading from one that just happens to be on the chart. A high Held % means the zone has repeatedly done its job; a low one warns you the level is leaky. Because it is measured from the zone's own history rather than assumed, it gives you an honest, at-a-glance read on reliability.
How is it detected and calculated?
After each retest, the indicator looks forward over the Hold Window — a set number of candles — and checks whether the zone was broken during that window. If the zone survived the window without a breakout, that retest counts as a hold. Only retests old enough to have a full window behind them are judged, so a very recent retest doesn't distort the number before its outcome is known. Held is then the count of successful holds, shown alongside its percentage of all retests.
Settings
Hold Window — after a retest, the zone must avoid a breakout for this many candles to count as a successful hold. Drives the Held stat and the Strongest ranking. Default 10.
STRONGEST AND NEAREST RANKING
What is the ranking?
Rather than crowd the chart with every zone it finds, the indicator shows a limited number per side and chooses which ones using one of two modes. Nearest simply shows the zones closest to current price. Strongest shows the zones that have most reliably held, weighted by how often they've been tested and how close they are to price.
Why does it matter?
Most charts have far more historical zones than are useful at once. Nearest is best when you care about the levels price is about to interact with regardless of their record. Strongest is best when you want the chart to surface proven levels — the ones that have repeatedly held — so your attention goes to the areas with the best track record.
How is it detected and calculated?
The Strongest score combines three things. Reliability is the zone's hold rate, but smoothed so a zone tested only once can't look perfect — its record is trusted more as it accumulates more tests. Evidence rewards zones that have been tested more often, with diminishing returns so one ancient zone doesn't dominate forever. Proximity favours zones closer to price. A small bonus is given to zones already on screen so the displayed list stays steady instead of swapping every bar. Nearest mode, by contrast, simply ranks by distance to price.
Settings
Rank By — Strongest (most reliable, weighted by tests and proximity) or Nearest (closest to price). Default Strongest.
Show — how many supply and how many demand zones to show at once; each side is counted separately. Default 5.
ZONE SPACING AND FADE-OUT
What are spacing and fade-out?
Two features keep the chart readable. Minimum spacing hides a zone that sits too close to one already shown, so you don't get several near-identical boxes stacked together. Fade-out smoothly dims a zone as it drops off the visible list, instead of having it vanish abruptly.
Why does it matter?
A clean chart is easier to act on. Spacing prevents visual clutter at congested levels, and the fade-out makes it obvious when a zone is no longer among the top picks without the chart jumping around distractingly.
How is it detected and calculated?
When selecting which zones to show, the indicator skips any candidate sitting within the Min Zone Spacing distance (a percentage of price) of a zone already chosen. When a previously shown zone is no longer selected, it is moved to a fade list and dimmed over a fixed number of bars before being removed. Drawing is also budgeted internally so the gradient zone fills always stay within the platform's object limits.
Settings
Min Zone Spacing (%) — hides zones sitting too close to one already shown, to keep the chart clean. Set to 0 to show every zone. Default 0.1%.
Supply / Demand colours — the colours used for supply and demand zones, their gradient fills, and their markers.
ALERTS
What alerts are available?
Bullish Retest — price bounced from a demand zone.
Bearish Retest — price rejected from a supply zone.
Bullish Breakout — price broke above a supply zone.
Bearish Breakout — price broke below a demand zone.
When do they fire?
Each alert fires on a confirmed bar at the moment the matching event is recorded, so you are notified of bounces and breaks as they are confirmed rather than on an unfinished candle.
IMPORTANT NOTES
All retests, breakouts and flips are evaluated only on closed (confirmed) bars, so events are not counted on an in-progress candle.
A breakout requires price to close through a zone and then confirm on the next resolution. A single bar that closes through and immediately closes back in is recorded as a retest (failed breakout), not a breakout.
Held only judges retests that have a full Hold Window of bars behind them, so the most recent retest may not yet be reflected in the Held count until its outcome is known.
When a zone breaks it flips side and keeps its full history, so a single long-lived zone can show interactions from several supply/demand cycles.
The number of zones shown is limited per side by the Show setting; other valid zones continue to be tracked in the background and can appear later as conditions change.
UNIQUENESS
Most supply and demand indicators draw zones and stop there, leaving the trader to guess which levels still matter. Supply and Demand Zones treats each zone as a tracked object with a measurable record. Every retest, failed breakout and clean break is recorded over the zone's life, and the Held statistic turns that record into a single, honest reliability number shown right on the zone — a level that has held four of five tests is immediately distinguishable from one that keeps breaking. Failed breakouts are folded into retests rather than ignored, capturing the trap-and-reclaim behaviour that often marks the strongest levels, and broken zones flip side while keeping their entire history instead of resetting. The Strongest ranking is driven by that same measured record — reliability, number of tests, and proximity — with smoothing so a single lucky test can't masquerade as a perfect level, meaning the chart automatically surfaces the zones that have actually proven themselves. The result is a supply and demand tool that doesn't just show you where zones are, but how much each one has earned your trust.

Exhaustion Zones (Momentum Episodes) [HermesCore]WHAT THIS INDICATOR DOES
Exhaustion Zones (Momentum Episodes) watches RSI, the Relative Strength Index, a standard momentum gauge that runs from 0 to 100. When it closes beyond a threshold (70 high, 30 low by default), a saturation episode begins. While the episode lasts I track two things: the most extreme price it prints, and the highest or lowest RSI it reaches. The moment RSI closes back inside, the episode is over and one event fires.
That event leaves a zone on the chart. Not an arbitrary band: the zone is the wick of the bar that printed the episode extreme. That wick is the exact range where the last buyers or sellers ran out. The question this script keeps asking is simple: where did price stand when the fuel ran out, and does that place get respected afterwards?
Every zone gets a 0 to 6 quality score at birth, and from then on the script counts what happens: held or broken, per grade, with sample sizes shown.
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Most overbought and oversold tools mark the moment and move on. An arrow prints at RSI 70 and nobody ever counts what happened next. My rules are:
- An episode is one event, not a stream of signals. RSI can sit above 70 for thirty bars; that is still one episode, one zone. The state machine needs no cooldown tricks because episodes are naturally separate: RSI has to leave and come back.
- The zone is price structure, not decoration. It spans the wick of the episode-extreme bar, padded to a minimum thickness when the wick is thin, rejected entirely when a single mega-candle would paint an unusable block (the dashboard counts those rejections too).
- The score never changes after birth. It is built only from facts known the moment the episode ends.
- Every zone resolves and every resolution is counted. Held versus broken, per grade, with n. If grade A zones hold no better than grade C zones on your chart, the dashboard will tell you so.
- Everything updates on confirmed bars only. An episode cannot start, peak or end within a forming candle. No intrabar flicker, no repainting events.
HOW TO READ THE CHART
- Zone box: red above price (exhaustion high, resistance), green below (exhaustion low, support). A label like "Exh High A S:5 RSI:77" reads: exhaustion high, grade A, score 5, the episode peaked at RSI 77.
- The saturated inner band at the extreme side is the core: the final half ATR (Average True Range, a standard volatility measure) of the wick, where the move was most exhausted. The fainter remainder is the rest of the wick.
- The vivid one-candle stripe inside the zone marks the exact bar that printed the extreme.
- Gold color with a soft glow: the grade is A or S. Those are the premium zones.
- Thicker border: the zone was touched, price came back to it at least once.
- Faint grey boxes without text: resolved history. A slightly stronger outline means the zone held, a weaker one means it broke. History whispers, it does not shout.
- Zones farther than 6 ATR from price render dimmed, so your eye goes to what is in play.
THE SCORE
- Saturation depth: peak RSI reached 80 or beyond (20 or below for lows), +2. Just past the threshold, +1.
- Climax volume: the extreme bar traded above its own volume average, +1.
- Fast fade: RSI closed back inside within 5 bars of its peak, a fast rejection, +1.
- Episode divergence: price printed a more extreme level than the previous episode while peak RSI stayed less extreme, +1. Compared episode to episode, and stated as such.
- Wick quality: the rejection wick of the extreme bar is at least 45 percent of its body, +1.
Grades: S (6), A (5), B (4), C (3), D (0 to 2). The strength filter is off by default: episodes are scarce enough to show them all and let the grade speak. Turn it on if you only want premium zones.
HELD VERSUS BROKEN
A zone is broken when price closes beyond its far edge. A zone is held when it survives to its maximum age (400 bars by default) without that happening. Every resolved zone lands in the per-grade statistics: "18% held 32 / 149 (n=181)" reads as 32 held, 149 broken, 181 judged in total.
Be aware what the definition means: held is a strict standard. Surviving 400 bars unbroken is a long time, so the absolute percentages run low by design. What matters is the ordering. On my charts S grades hold clearly better than A and B, which hold better than C. That ordering is the evidence that the score measures something real, and your own dashboard will show you whether it does on your market.
DASHBOARD
RSI now with its state. Episode now: when a saturation episode is live you see its running extreme and peak RSI update bar by bar, so you watch the zone being born. Active zone count per side. Five grade rows with held percentage, raw counts and n. Lifetime events per side plus total touches. Guard rejects, the oversized zones that were refused. Heat bars are proportional.
HOW I USE IT
This script is deliberately timeframe agnostic: an RSI episode means the same thing on every chart, only the rhythm changes.
- 4H is where I read regime. Episodes are scarce there and the zones land on swing highs and lows you would have marked by hand. An A or S exhaustion high on 4H is a place I expect sellers to defend.
- 1H is the middle ground: more events, still clean structure.
- 15m is the execution and evidence frame. Episodes are frequent, so the statistics build n fast, and I use the zones as intraday reaction levels. Expect more mediocre grades here; the dashboard shows you exactly how mediocre.
My core read is the combination of grade and first touch. A fresh A or S zone that gets its first touch is the highest quality moment this script produces: price returning to the exact range where the last push died, while the statistics tell me how often that place held in the past. A D zone breaking is not a surprise, it is the base rate.
SETTINGS THAT MATTER
- Saturation Level High and Low (70/30): the episode thresholds. Widen to 75/25 for fewer, heavier episodes.
- Deep Saturation Level (80): the line between +1 and +2 for depth.
- Zone Max Age (400 bars): the held standard. Lower it and held becomes easier to earn; the statistics will recalculate accordingly. Neither setting is the truth, they answer different questions.
- Min Zone Thickness (0.25 ATR) and Max Zone Height (3.0 ATR): the zone sanity guards.
- Broken Zones Become: greyed history or deleted. Your choice of how loud the past is.
- Show Exhaustion Core, Highlight Extreme Candle, Focus Fade: the visual layers, all styling only, all on by default.
ALERTS
New Exhaustion High Zone, New Exhaustion Low Zone, Exhaustion High First Touch, Exhaustion Low First Touch, Exhaustion Zone Broken, New A/S Exhaustion Zone. Touch alerts fire on the first touch only.
CALCULATION DETAILS
- All state changes happen on confirmed bars. Episodes start, extend and end on closes only.
- RSI length 14 on close by default. The episode tracks the running price extreme and RSI peak; both freeze the moment the episode ends.
- The zone spans from the episode extreme to the body edge of the extreme bar, padded to the minimum thickness, rejected above the height cap.
- Divergence needs a previous episode on the same side to compare against, so the first episode per side can never score that point.
- The statistics are computed from the bars your chart loads, so they differ per timeframe and per symbol. Neither is wrong, they measure different samples.
HONEST LIMITATIONS
- The statistics describe the past. They tell you how often these zones held on the loaded history, not what the next one will do.
- Held is defined as surviving the maximum age. That is a strict standard and it keeps the absolute percentages modest. Read the ordering between grades, not the raw numbers, and recalibrate the age to your own horizon.
- Scores on a fresh chart need history: volume averages and the previous episode for divergence take time to fill in.
- RSI is calculated on the chart's candles. On Heikin Ashi, Renko or other synthetic chart types the closes are not real prices and every result is distorted. Use standard candles.
- A zone is a place where exhaustion happened, not a guarantee of reversal. Strong trends break exhaustion zones routinely; that is exactly what the broken counts are there to show you.
ORIGINALITY
Overbought and oversold are as old as RSI itself. The episode state machine, the wick-anchored zone construction, the 0 to 6 scoring, the held versus broken accounting per grade and the visual language are my own work, built from scratch in Pine v6. Every number on the dashboard is recomputable from the rules in this description.

The script focuses on auction behavior around a dynamic ribbon. When the ribbon layers align and slope together, the state becomes directional. When price stretches beyond the deviation envelope and then returns, the script can mark supply or demand zones for later retests.

1. Zero-Lag Source
The source is adjusted by comparing current price with a half-length historical value. This produces a more responsive input for the ribbon calculations.

Upper and lower deviation levels are built around the ribbon midpoint using ATR. If price pushes beyond a deviation level and closes back inside, the script creates a compact supply or demand zone.
5. Retest Logic
Retest signals occur when price interacts with a live zone or the ribbon itself while the ribbon state remains directional. These signals are confirmed on closed bars.

Vesper Structure Ledger is an open-source market structure indicator built around KAMA trend context, pivot-based BOS and CHoCH events, liquidity sweeps, equal high/low probes, premium/discount zones, demand/supply boxes, right-side structural rails, managed signal boxes, and a top-right dashboard.
The script is intended to make structure easier to read without relying on arrows or cluttered labels. It distinguishes continuation structure from potential character shifts, then adds trend, impulse, volume, and higher-timeframe context before qualifying stronger events.
Core Concepts
1. KAMA Trend Core
The KAMA engine uses an efficiency ratio to adapt smoothing. When price moves efficiently, the trend line responds faster. In noisy conditions, it slows down and reduces whipsaw sensitivity.
2. Pivot Structure Memory
Confirmed pivot highs and lows are stored as structural references. These levels become the next possible break points for BOS or CHoCH events.

3. BOS vs CHoCH
A Break of Structure confirms continuation in the current structural direction. A Change of Character marks a break against that direction and can signal a potential shift. Vesper also tracks BOS counts before allowing some character changes to carry more weight.

Liquidity sweeps occur when price probes beyond a swing level and closes back through it. Equal high and equal low probes mark nearby repeated liquidity levels.
5. Demand/Supply and Managed Structure Map
Confirmed qualified signals can create demand or supply zones and a managed visual box with entry, invalidation, and target levels. These levels are for context and planning only.

How to Use This Indicator
Step 1: Read trend context
Use KAMA and the dashboard trend row to understand whether price is above or below the adaptive trend.
Step 2: Watch BOS and CHoCH
BOS events suggest continuation. CHoCH events warn that character may be changing.
Step 3: Mark liquidity
Sweeps and equal-level probes identify areas where price has tested or reclaimed liquidity.
Step 4: Use zones as references
Demand/supply boxes and right-side rails help frame current structure. They are not automatic entries.
