Key Features
Auto Timeframe Detection — Automatically selects an appropriate HTF based on your current chart resolution (e.g. 5m chart → 15m markers, 1H chart → 4H markers), or set a manual timeframe if you prefer full control.
Two Display Modes
Full Height — draws a vertical line stretching across the entire chart at the start of each new HTF period.
Session Range — draws a live-updating box confined to the actual high/low range of the developing HTF candle, expanding in real time as the period forms.
HTF Open Price Line — Plots a horizontal line at the open price of each HTF candle, independent of the vertical marker settings. Choose how it extends:
Until Next Period — stops automatically where the next HTF candle begins.
Full Right — extends indefinitely into future bars.
Full Chart — extends across the entire chart in both directions.
Useful as a quick reference for whether price is trading above or below the current HTF open — a key reference level in many ICT/SMC frameworks.
Smart Timestamp Labels — Each vertical marker is labeled with contextual text that adapts to the timeframe:
Sub-weekly HTFs show time and weekday (e.g. "09:30 / Monday"), or weekday-only if preferred.
Weekly HTFs show the week-of-month (e.g. "Week 2").
Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly HTFs show calendar-relative labels (month name, quarter number, or year) instead of a redundant time stamp, since higher-timeframe opens always land on the same weekday/time.
Timezone Control — Labels are calculated using a selectable timezone (default America/New_York), so your markers align with the session times your strategy is actually built around, rather than the raw exchange timezone.
Full Styling Control — Independently adjust color, width, and style (solid, dotted, dashed) for both the vertical markers and the open line, plus label size and a configurable cap on how many historical markers/lines are kept on the chart.
How It Works
The indicator tracks the start of each new HTF bar using request.security and draws a vertical marker at that boundary. In Session Range mode, the box continues updating its top/bottom/right edges on every bar until the HTF period closes, giving you a live read on the developing range. At the same time, an independent open-price line is plotted at the HTF candle's opening price and extended according to your chosen mode. Older markers and lines are automatically pruned once you exceed your configured maximums, keeping the chart uncluttered.

Multi-Timeframe Moving AveragesMulti-Timeframe Moving Averages (MTF MAs) is an all-in-one moving-average overlay with 16 independently configurable slots: eight calculated on the chart timeframe and eight calculated on user-selected timeframes. It combines local and higher-timeframe structure without requiring multiple indicators or repeated chart changes. Every line can be shown or hidden and assigned its own length, calculation type, and color.
The higher-timeframe averages are calculated inside their requested timeframe. For example, a 20-period one-hour EMA on a five-minute chart is calculated from 20 one-hour observations, not from 20 five-minute observations or by scaling an existing chart-timeframe EMA. This preserves the mathematical meaning of the selected length and timeframe.
Its distinctive feature is the MTF display. Completed intervals show finalized MA levels, while the developing interval is rendered as one horizontal line that grows across the interval and adjusts to the current MTF value. This keeps the active higher-timeframe level clear instead of leaving behind a noisy trail of provisional updates.
MOVING-AVERAGE TYPES
Every chart and MTF slot supports nine calculation types:
- SMA uses equal weighting; EMA and RMA use recursive weighting that emphasizes recent observations.
- WMA applies linear weighting, while HMA combines weighted averages for greater responsiveness.
- VWMA weights price by volume, and LSMA returns the endpoint of a least-squares regression line.
- DEMA and TEMA combine multiple EMA stages to reduce conventional EMA lag.
Each method processes the selected source over the selected length. The methods differ in weighting, smoothness, responsiveness, and potential overshoot; none is inherently best for every instrument or market condition.
HOW THE MTF DISPLAY WORKS
Suppose a one-hour EMA is displayed on a five-minute chart. The value changes while the hour is still forming. Connecting every five-minute snapshot can produce a noisy path that obscures the level currently in effect.
MTF MA uses a two-layer rendering method:
- Completed intervals display the finalized higher-timeframe MA value across the chart bars belonging to that interval.
- The developing interval uses the current, unconfirmed MTF value to draw one horizontal segment from the beginning of the interval to the latest bar.
As new chart bars arrive, the live segment extends horizontally and relocates vertically. Its previous provisional positions are not left behind as a separate path. When the higher-timeframe bar completes, its final level joins the historical display and a new live segment begins.
Optional labels identify each active MTF line by timeframe, length, type, and current value. Labels are placed four chart bars to the right for readability only; this horizontal placement does not represent future data.
WHY TWO MTF CALCULATIONS ARE USED
The script requests each MTF average twice. In simplified Pine Script, the calculation is:

Placing `ma_type()` inside `request.security()` is important: PulseWire evaluates the selected MA from bars in the requested timeframe. The script is not calculating an MA from lower-timeframe bars and then relabeling or rescaling it.
The historical request supplies the finalized value used to draw each completed interval. The realtime request supplies the developing value of the active interval. The script counts how many chart bars have elapsed inside that interval and recreates one horizontal line at the latest realtime value:

Both endpoints use the same price, so the live MTF display remains horizontal. Its left endpoint stays at the beginning of the higher-timeframe interval, its right endpoint advances with the chart, and the entire segment moves to the latest developing value. This historical/realtime separation provides a visually clean completed record without sacrificing a responsive current level. The same pattern is applied independently to all eight MTF slots.
HOW TO USE IT
Use Chart Timeframe MAs for averages calculated directly from the current chart bars and MTF MAs for averages calculated from another timeframe. Each slot may be enabled independently. Set its length, type, and color; MTF slots also have individual timeframes and labels. Source is shared by the chart MAs, while MTF Source is shared by the MTF group. Show MTF Historical Lines and Show MTF Labels are master display switches.
The intended use is to select MTF periods equal to or higher than the chart timeframe. This makes it possible, for example, to monitor a one-hour, four-hour, and daily moving-average structure while executing from a lower-timeframe chart.
LIMITATIONS AND REPAINTING
Moving averages are descriptive transformations of past and developing price or volume data. They are not support or resistance guarantees, forecasts, trade signals, or evidence that price must react when a line is reached.
The active horizontal MTF segment is calculated from an unconfirmed higher-timeframe bar. It intentionally moves as that bar develops, and its final value may differ from levels displayed earlier in the interval. The indicator does not preserve that sequence of provisional live values.
Historical MTF segments are retrospective by design. To display a completed higher-timeframe level across its full interval, the script uses lookahead when mapping the finalized value onto the interval's lower-timeframe bars. The historical segment therefore shows where the final level belongs visually, not the sequence of values that was available while that interval developed. Historical price contacts, crosses, or apparent reactions must not be treated as time-causal signals or used for backtesting.
Selecting an MTF period below the chart timeframe returns only limited intrabar information and is not the intended use of this indicator. Results also depend on the chart's source data, session, and candle type. Standard candles are recommended when comparing moving-average values with actual traded prices.

What it is
Trading a single timeframe blinds you to the larger context; watching many by eye is slow and inconsistent. This indicator evaluates a grid of timeframes and trend methods, turns the whole grid into one alignment score, and signals when top-down agreement forms. It is an original multi-timeframe aggregation tool built to avoid the common pitfalls of higher-timeframe requests.
How it works
• The matrix — a set of higher and lower timeframes is each assessed by several independent trend methods (such as a moving-average relationship, a directional trend measure and a momentum read). Each cell of the grid returns simply bullish or bearish, so the picture is easy to interpret.
• No lookahead — every higher-timeframe value is pulled with lookahead disabled, so the indicator never borrows future data from an unclosed higher-timeframe bar. This is a deliberate, disclosed design choice that keeps the signals honest and non-repainting on historical bars.
• Alignment score — the grid is condensed into one signed score representing how strongly all timeframes and methods agree. Full agreement produces a strong reading; a split grid produces a weak, near-neutral one.
• State-machine signals — a Buy fires when alignment turns sufficiently bullish from a non-bullish state; a Sell is the mirror. Requiring a state change means the matrix will not re-signal the same direction repeatedly — the signals are self-spacing.
Trade levels
Each signal draws a red risk box to the ATR stop and a green reward box to the third target, with inner dividers and right-edge labels for entry, stop and each take-profit at your R multiples.
The dashboard
An adjustable alignment-matrix panel displays every timeframe-by-method cell as bullish or bearish, a bipolar alignment-score headline, the active signal, a conviction estimate, and a live first-target-before-stop tally from closed bars only. The grid shows exactly which timeframes agree and which disagree.
How to use it
• Works on any asset; pick a base timeframe and let the grid supply the higher-timeframe context.
• Favour entries when the grid is broadly aligned; be cautious when it is mixed.
• Use it as a top-down filter alongside your own entry method, or take its aligned signals directly.

Originality and usefulness

This script was created because session trading can become messy when traders manually mark multiple highs, lows, opens, boxes, sweeps, breakouts, and traps across different timeframes. Instead of adding unrelated indicators together, this model uses one central reference point: the previous confirmed HTF candle. Once an enabled session begins, the script maps that HTF candle’s high, low, midpoint, and optional session open level onto the chart. Price action during that session is then classified around that reference range.
The purpose of the script is not to predict price. The purpose is to provide a clean framework for reading session behaviour around a higher-timeframe range.
Core Concept
The script is built around the idea that the previous higher-timeframe candle can provide useful reference levels for intraday price behaviour. Its high and low can act as areas where liquidity may be taken, where breakouts may develop, or where failed breakouts may occur.
The model does not project the HTF candle before the session opens. It activates when an enabled session opens. At that point, it takes the most recent fully confirmed HTF candle and uses it as the active session reference.
This creates a consistent question for the trader:
How is price reacting around the previous confirmed HTF candle during the current session?
What Makes This Script Original
This script is not designed as a simple combination of unrelated indicators. The components are connected through one session-based model:
1. Session engine
The script allows users to enable Asia, London, and New York sessions. Each session can use its own time window and timezone setting.
2. HTF reference map
At the start of an enabled session, the script maps the previous confirmed HTF candle. This includes the HTF high, low, midpoint, optional candle body, and optional session open level.
3. Sweep model
The script checks whether price sweeps above the HTF high or below the HTF low. Users can choose between a basic wick sweep or a stricter sweep that requires price to close back inside the HTF range.
4. Delivery shift confirmation
After a sweep occurs, the script can wait for a delivery shift confirmation before marking a sweep entry. A bearish confirmation requires price to break below a recent low range after a high sweep. A bullish confirmation requires price to break above a recent high range after a low sweep.
5. Breakout model
If price closes and holds outside the HTF range, the script can classify the move as a breakout. Users can set how many bars price must hold beyond the range.
6. Displacement filter
The breakout model can optionally require stronger candle movement by comparing the candle body against ATR. This helps filter weaker breaks that do not show meaningful displacement.
7. Failed breakout trap model
If price breaks beyond the HTF high or low and then returns back inside the range, the script can classify that move as a failed breakout trap. A Bull Trap means price broke above the HTF high and failed back inside. A Bear Trap means price broke below the HTF low and failed back inside.
These parts work together because they all answer the same question: did price sweep the HTF range, accept beyond it, or fail after breaking it?
How The Script Calculates The Model
When a new enabled session begins, the script requests the previous confirmed candle from the selected higher timeframe. The selected HTF may be adjusted by the user, such as 1H, 2H, 4H, Daily, or Weekly.
The script then stores the following values:
* Previous HTF open
* Previous HTF high
* Previous HTF low
* Previous HTF close
* Previous HTF midpoint
* Current session open
These values become the session reference map.
During the active session, the script checks price against the HTF high and low.
High Sweep:
A high sweep is detected when price trades above the previous HTF high.
Low Sweep:
A low sweep is detected when price trades below the previous HTF low.
Close Back Inside Sweep Mode:
When this stricter mode is selected, a high sweep requires price to close back below the HTF high. A low sweep requires price to close back above the HTF low.
Sweep Entry:
A sweep entry is not triggered by the sweep alone. After a sweep, the script waits for a delivery shift confirmation using the selected lookback length.
Breakout Long:
A breakout long is detected when price closes above the HTF high and holds above it for the selected number of bars.
Breakout Short:
A breakout short is detected when price closes below the HTF low and holds below it for the selected number of bars.
Bull Trap:
A bull trap is detected when price breaks above the HTF high but later closes back below the HTF high.
Bear Trap:
A bear trap is detected when price breaks below the HTF low but later closes back above the HTF low.
Volume Filter:
The optional volume filter compares current volume against a moving average of volume multiplied by the selected volume multiplier. When enabled, sweep and breakout conditions must also pass the volume filter.
Bar Close Confirmation:
The script includes an option to confirm signals only after the bar closes. This is enabled by default to make signals more stable for alerts and historical review.
How To Use This Script
1. Choose the reference timeframe
Select the HTF candle you want to use as the session reference. Intraday traders may use 1H, 2H, or 4H. Higher-timeframe traders may prefer Daily or Weekly.
2. Enable the sessions you trade
The script supports Asia, London, and New York sessions. Users can enable or disable each session and adjust the session window and timezone.
3. Watch the HTF range during the session
Once the session opens, the script draws the previous confirmed HTF candle range. The high and low are the main reaction levels.
4. Read price behaviour around the range

What it does
Killzones — Draws up to four configurable session boxes (defaults: Asia, London, NY AM, NY PM) with optional session high/low pivot lines, midpoints, day-of-week labels, opening-price lines, and an "opening candle" marker. WHAT EACH COMPONENT DOES

1. HTF CANDLE (plotted to the right of price)
A full OHLC candle from a higher timeframe is rendered live to the right of
your current price action. It updates tick by tick — the body, wick, and
color all reflects the evolving HTF candle in real time. Up to 5 historical
HTF candles can be displayed side by side for recent context. The wick is
precisely centered on the candle body, and the candle repositions itself
automatically on every bar so it always floats cleanly beyond the rightmost
price bar.
What it tells you: the current mood of the higher timeframe. A bullish daily
candle forming while the 5m sells off is a very different scenario than a
bearish daily candle in distribution.
2. HIGH / LOW LINES
Solid horizontal lines are drawn from the HTF candle's high and low, running
across the chart and labeled "High" and "Low." These mark the range that
institutional players defined on the higher timeframe. Price tends to respect
these levels — they act as magnets, decision zones, and areas of liquidity.
3. MIDLINE (dotted)
A dotted line sits exactly halfway between the HTF High and Low — the
equilibrium of the HTF range. In SMC theory, this is called the "50% level"
or "CE" (Consequent Encroachment). Price retracing to this level inside a
bullish candle is often an optimal entry zone. It is subtle by design —
informational, not dominant.
4. FAIR VALUE GAP (FVG)
A Fair Value Gap is a three-candle imbalance pattern. When a candle moves so
aggressively in one direction that it leaves a gap between the first and
third candle's wicks — price skipped over that zone. Institutions tend to
return to these gaps to "fill" the imbalance before continuing the move.
Bearish FVGs are highlighted in red, bullish in green. A label mark each
box. Up to a user-defined maximum number of FVGs are tracked and old ones
are automatically removed.
5. MARKET STRUCTURE SHIFT (MSS)
An MSS occurs the moment price decisively closes beyond a prior swing point,
signaling a change in directional intent. A bearish MSS is when price
closes below a recent swing low — the market is no longer making higher
lows. A bullish MSS is when price closes above a recent swing high. A
horizontal line is drawn at the broken level and labeled "MSS." Up to 5
recent MSS events are displayed; older ones clean up automatically.
6. DISPLACEMENT ZONE
Displacement is a series of consecutive strong candles in one direction
where the average body size exceeds a multiple of the ATR. It represents
institutional aggression — the moment "smart money" stepped in hard and
drove price. These zones are shaded on the chart and serve as reference
for where the real move originated, helping traders distinguish displacement
from manipulation.

HOW TO TRADE WITH THIS INDICATOR

The indicator does not generate buy or sell signals. Instead, it provides a
structured framework for identifying high-probability setups using confluence.
The following is a general workflow:
STEP 1 — READ THE HTF CANDLE
Before anything else, look at the HTF candle on the right. Is it bullish or
bearish? Is it nearing its high or low? This tells you about the directional bias for
the session. Only take trades in the direction of the HTF candle unless you
have strong evidence of a reversal.
STEP 2 — IDENTIFY THE RANGE
The High and Low lines define the playing field. Price at or near the HTF
High is at resistance — look for bearish setups. Price at or near the HTF
Low is at support — look for bullish setups. The midline is a secondary
decision zone — often acts as a magnet when price is between the levels.
STEP 3 — WAIT FOR STRUCTURE (MSS)
An MSS on the lower timeframe in the direction of your HTF bias is one of
the strongest confirmation signals. For example: if the daily candle is
bullish, wait for a bullish MSS on the 5-minute chart — a close above a
swing high — before entering long. This tells you short-term structure has
flipped in your favour.
STEP 4 — LOOK FOR AN FVG ENTRY
After an MSS, price often retraces into a Fair Value Gap before continuing.
This gap is your precision entry zone. Enter at the edge of the FVG closest
to current price. Place your stop loss below the FVG (for longs) or above
it (for shorts). The FVG acts as your entry trigger and risk anchor.
STEP 5 — CONFIRM WITH DISPLACEMENT
If the MSS was preceded by a Displacement Zone — meaning price moved
aggressively to create the structure break — the setup is higher quality.
Displacement followed by a retracement into an FVG, with an MSS confirming,
is the textbook SMC entry pattern this indicator is designed to highlight.
STEP 6 — SET TARGETS
Common targets are the HTF High (if long) or HTF Low (if short). The
midline is a partial-take-profit level. Always assess the risk-to-reward
before entry — aim for a minimum of 1:2.

EMA's [Ordinary Trader]EMAs by Plots two parallel stacks of three EMAs — one anchored to a Higher Timeframe of your choice, one following the chart's current timeframe. Built around the Ordinary Trader methodology, where the 15-minute 50 / 100 / 300 EMA stack acts as a higher-timeframe directional filter while trading on lower timeframes.
**WHAT YOU SEE ON THE CHART**
Six EMAs total, split into two groups:
- **HTF EMAs** — three EMAs locked to a higher timeframe of your choice (default 15-minute). They stay anchored to 15-minute data even when you drop the chart to 1m, 3m, or 5m. Drawn as **thick** lines.
- **LTF EMAs** — three EMAs that follow the chart's current timeframe (or any specific lower timeframe you pin them to). Drawn as **thin** lines.
Same colour for the same EMA length across both groups: 50 = sage green, 100 = terracotta orange, 300 = purple-grey. Thickness tells you which timeframe you're looking at; colour tells you which EMA length.
**HOW TO USE IT**
The default setup is the Ordinary Trader 15-minute filter: HTF set to 15-minute, LTF following the chart. Pull up a 1m, 3m, or 5m chart and you'll see both groups at once — the thick lines are your 15-minute anchor, the thin lines are your chart-timeframe stack for entries.
By default the 50 and 100 EMAs are on in both groups; the 300 EMA is off but available. Flip it on in the Settings panel if you want the full stack.
**AUTO-HIDE FOR THE LTF GROUP**
When your chart timeframe is equal to or higher than the HTF timeframe, the LTF group hides automatically. So on a 15-minute chart (with HTF still at 15-minute) only the HTF group shows — no point drawing the LTF stack on top of an identical HTF stack. Same on the 1-hour, daily, or higher.
**VISUAL SMOOTHING**
When a higher-timeframe EMA is plotted on a lower-timeframe chart, it naturally looks stepped — each new HTF bar updates the EMA in one chunk, so the line moves in jumps rather than smoothly. The Visual Smoothing option (on by default) applies a light smoothing pass so the line reads cleanly on lower-timeframe charts. It trades a tiny amount of lag for a cleaner look — turn it off if you'd rather see the raw, stepped HTF values.

Heikin Ashi Cloud Overlay | Rainbow MatrixGENERAL OVERVIEW
The Heikin Ashi Cloud Overlay renders a Heikin Ashi cloud directly on top of traditional candlesticks, giving traders both views in a single chart. HA candles smooth macro trend perception by filtering individual-bar noise, but they sacrifice entry-bar precision because each HA candle does not represent the actual price range traded on that bar. This script preserves both signals simultaneously: the HA cloud surfaces directional context, while the underlying real candles preserve precise execution-bar timing.
A compact corner HUD reports current HA direction, consecutive streak length, and body-size anomalies relative to a 20-bar rolling average — useful for monitoring momentum exhaustion and impulsive expansion in real time without analyzing the cloud manually.
The script adds a visual intelligence layer on top of the standard HA pattern: cloud fill opacity dynamically reflects body intensity (impulsive bars render densely opaque, normal bars render lightly), and small colored dots flag body anomalies (current body > 3× rolling average) directly on the chart.
WHAT IS THE THEORY BEHIND THIS INDICATOR?
Heikin Ashi candles are derived from traditional OHLC via a recursive smoothing formula introduced by Munehisa Homma in 18th-century Japanese rice trading and popularized in modern Western technical analysis through the work of Dan Valcu and others. The transformation produces candles that emphasize trend persistence over discrete price action: consecutive same-color HA candles indicate ongoing directional pressure, while doji-like HA candles or sudden color flips often signal pivots.
The trade-off is well-known: HA candles do not show real OHLC. The haOpen of each candle is the average of the previous haOpen and haClose, not the actual session open. This makes HA excellent for trend reading but unreliable for entry timing — orders need to reference the actual price range of the bar, not the smoothed projection.
The conventional solutions are either to switch back and forth between HA and regular candle views (cognitive overhead), or to use HA as the primary chart and lose precision on entries (execution cost). This indicator takes a third approach: render the HA candles as a transparent overlay envelope on top of the standard candlesticks. The trader sees both at once. The HA envelope communicates trend context; the underlying candles preserve real-bar precision.
The state machine layered on top — direction tracking, streak counting, and body-size anomaly detection against a rolling average — converts the visual cloud into a numerical readout, surfacing exhaustion and impulsive moves that might be missed at a glance.

🔹 What It Does
For each bar on the chart, the indicator computes the four Heikin Ashi values (haOpen, haClose, haHigh, haLow) using Pine Script's canonical recursive formula. It then renders a thin envelope between haHigh and haLow with semi-transparent fill, plotted on top of the underlying traditional candles.
🔹 Method
The computation follows the standard HA definition:
◇ haClose = (open + high + low + close) / 4
◇ haOpen = average of the previous haOpen and the previous haClose (recursive)
◇ haHigh = max of (high, haOpen, haClose)
◇ haLow = min of (low, haOpen, haClose)
A `var float ha_open = na` seed pattern handles the first-bar initialization safely, avoiding NA propagation that would corrupt the recursive chain.
🔹 Visual Behavior
The envelope is rendered as a thin top-bottom band with translucent fill. The fill color reflects the HA direction: bullish (haClose ≥ haOpen) renders in the configured bull color (PulseWire native teal by default); bearish (haClose < haOpen) renders in the bear color (PulseWire native red by default). An optional midline (dotted) at the (haOpen + haClose) / 2 level can be toggled for traders who prefer an explicit midpoint reference.
BODY INTENSITY MODULATION
🔹 What It Does
The cloud fill transparency is dynamically modulated based on the current HA body size relative to the 20-bar rolling average. Bars with above-average body push the fill toward more opaque, surfacing impulsive expansion clusters visually without requiring HUD analysis.
🔹 Tier Logic
◇ Body < 1× average: standard transparency (user-configured slider value)
◇ Body 1-2× average: −10 transparency (notable bar — slightly more opaque)
◇ Body 2-3× average: −30 transparency (strong bar — clearly more opaque)
◇ Body ≥ 3× average: −50 transparency, floor 20 (anomaly — densely opaque)
The floor cap of 20 prevents the fill from becoming so opaque that the underlying candle wicks become unreadable, preserving the dual-view principle of the indicator.
🔹 Why It Helps
Body intensity modulation converts the cloud from a static color band into a momentum-aware visualization. During quiet conditions, the cloud whispers; during impulsive expansion or capitulation phases, the cloud intensifies visually. Traders monitoring multiple charts can identify regime changes peripherally without focusing on any single chart's HUD.
🔹 Toggle
The feature is enabled by default and can be disabled via the "Body Intensity Cloud Opacity" input in the HA CLOUD group, which restores fixed transparency from the slider.
BODY ANOMALY VISUAL MARKERS
🔹 What It Does
A small colored dot appears on the chart whenever the current HA body exceeds 3× the 20-bar rolling average. Bull anomalies render as a dot below the bar (location.belowbar); bear anomalies render as a dot above the bar (location.abovebar). Dot colors match the configured bull/bear palette.
🔹 Why It Helps
The markers convert the alert-only body anomaly detection into a persistent visual signal that remains visible on chart history. Traders reviewing past price action can identify impulsive expansion or capitulation events at a glance, without scrolling through alert history or replaying bars.
🔹 Independent of the Alert
The visual markers and the body anomaly alert are independently toggleable. Traders can show the markers without enabling the alert (visual-only mode) or enable the alert without showing the markers (sound/notification-only mode).

HA STATE HUD PANEL
🔹 What It Shows
A compact 4-row corner panel reports three live values:
◇ Direction — current HA candle direction (Bull / Bear), color-coded
◇ Streak — consecutive same-direction count (in current locale, e.g., "7 velas (candles)" in PT)
◇ Avg Body — the average HA body size over the last 20 bars, expressed as a percentage of price
🔹 Why It Helps
The HUD converts the cloud into a numerical readout. Instead of visually estimating streak length or body proportion, traders can read the exact values on each bar. This is particularly useful for traders monitoring multiple charts or running automated rules where consecutive-bar conditions need to be tracked precisely.
🔹 Customization
The HUD can be positioned in any of the four chart corners and rendered in any of five font sizes. The Direction row uses contrasting colors (bull vs bear) for immediate parsing.
THREE OPTIONAL ALERTS
🔹 Alert Types
Each alert is independently toggleable in the indicator settings:
◇ HA Direction Change — fires on the close of a confirmed bar when the HA direction flips (bull→bear or bear→bull). Useful as a confirmation filter on top of other entry signals.
◇ HA Streak Exhaustion — fires when the absolute streak length crosses a user-configurable threshold (default 7). Long consecutive streaks often precede mean-reversion phases, especially in ranging markets.
◇ HA Body Anomaly — fires when the current HA body exceeds 3× the 20-bar rolling average. Anomalous body sizes typically signal impulsive expansion, capitulation, or news-driven moves worth investigating.
🔹 Firing Mechanism
All alerts are gated by `barstate.isconfirmed`, which means they only trigger on the close of the bar that satisfies the condition — never intra-bar. This prevents false signals from intrabar fluctuations that get rejected before close. Each alert uses `alert.freq_once_per_bar` to avoid duplicate firings on the same candle.
🔹 alertcondition() Mode
A dummy `alertcondition` titled "HOW TO SETUP ALERTS (READ)" is exposed at the bottom of the script. It provides setup guidance via its message field, instructing users to select "Any alert() function call" in the PulseWire alert condition menu and filter individual alerts via the indicator settings.
MULTILINGUAL INTERFACE
The indicator supports five languages for the HUD display and alert messages: English (default), Português, Español, Русский, and 中文 (Chinese). Code, comments, and configuration tooltips remain in English regardless of the selected language.

CUSTOM PALETTE TOGGLE
🔹 What It Does
By default, the indicator uses native PulseWire teal/red colors for visual familiarity. A "Use Custom Cloud Colors" toggle in the settings switches to user-configurable bull/bear colors, useful for traders who want to align the cloud palette with their personal indicator stack or color preferences.
HOW TO USE
This indicator is a visualization tool, not a signal generator. It surfaces three categories of structural information: HA direction (smoothed trend context), streak length (momentum persistence), and body anomalies (impulsive moves).
🔹 Reading the Cloud
◇ Bull cloud (default teal) = current HA candle is bullish (haClose ≥ haOpen).
◇ Bear cloud (default red) = current HA candle is bearish (haClose < haOpen).
◇ A long sequence of same-color HA candles indicates strong directional pressure; mixed colors or doji-like HA candles indicate consolidation or pivot zones.
◇ Cloud density (opacity): denser fills mark bars with above-average body — pay attention to these zones, they often correspond to ignition or capitulation phases.
◇ Anomaly dots: when a dot appears below a bull bar or above a bear bar, the bar's body is 3× the recent average — exceptional impulse worth contextualizing against your other signals.
🔹 Reading the HUD
◇ Direction row: parse the current HA candle's directional state at a glance.
◇ Streak row: |streak| ≥ 7 → trend is mature, increasing probability of mean reversion or pullback. Streak just flipped sign → fresh direction.
◇ Avg Body row: current bar body > 3× this value → impulsive expansion or capitulation, worth investigating contextually.
🔹 Tactical Reading
◇ HA color flip + confirmation on the underlying candle: potential trend reversal or pullback entry.
◇ HA streak crosses the exhaustion threshold while price approaches a key level (from another indicator or manual S/R): increased probability of structural reaction.
◇ Body anomaly during otherwise quiet conditions: impulsive move (often news-driven or stop-cascade) — trade with reduced size or wait for retest.
◇ Cluster of dense-opacity bars: regime change or ongoing impulsive move — momentum is structurally elevated.
🔹 Multi-Indicator Workflow
The HA Cloud Overlay is designed to layer cleanly with other indicators. It does not add lines or boxes that compete visually with structural indicators (VWAP, Volume Profile, S/R). The cloud sits behind the candles, the markers are minimal dots, and the HUD sits in a corner — total chart footprint is minimal.
INPUTS EXPLAINED
🔹 System Language
Display language for the HUD and alert messages. Options: English (default), Português, Español, Русский, 中文.
🔹 Show Cloud Envelope
Master toggle for the HA top-bottom envelope and fill.
🔹 Cloud Fill Transparency
Base alpha of the cloud fill (60 = denser, 95 = barely visible). Floor of 60 keeps candle wicks readable. Default 80. When Body Intensity Modulation is ON, this value is the baseline; bars with above-average body intensity become progressively more opaque from this baseline.
🔹 Show HA Midline (dots)
Optional thin dotted line at (haOpen + haClose) / 2.
🔹 Use Custom Cloud Colors

IMPORTANT NOTES
The Heikin Ashi Cloud Overlay works on any timeframe and any instrument. The HA computation is timeframe-agnostic — it transforms whatever OHLC data the chart provides.
Alerts fire once per confirmed bar. Historical bars never repaint after they close. The live bar updates intra-bar as expected for a real-time indicator, but alerts will only fire after the bar closes. Body anomaly visual markers can update intra-bar (preview behavior) and settle on close.
The body anomaly threshold (3× rolling average) and streak warning threshold (default 7) are derived from empirical observation across common timeframes and instruments. Both are user-configurable and should be tuned to the trader's instrument and timeframe — high-volatility crypto on 1m may warrant a higher anomaly multiplier than large-cap equities on Daily.
The 20-bar body rolling average uses `ta.sma` of the percentage-based body size. The first 20 bars after script start will show partial values; once enough history is available, the value stabilizes.
The body intensity modulation tier floors (50, 30, 20) are calibrated to preserve candle wick readability even on extreme anomaly bars — the floor 20 ensures the cloud never becomes fully opaque.

UNIQUENESS
The Heikin Ashi Cloud Overlay differs from the standard PulseWire Heikin Ashi chart type and from other HA-based indicators in four structural ways.
First, it preserves both views simultaneously rather than replacing one with the other. Standard HA chart mode hides the real candles entirely; this overlay keeps the underlying candles visible at all times, giving traders smoothed trend context (the cloud) and precise entry-bar timing (the underlying candles) in the same visual without context-switching cost.
Second, the cloud fill opacity is dynamically modulated by body intensity relative to a 20-bar rolling average. Standard HA cloud indicators render fills with a single static transparency; this script renders impulsive bars (≥1×, ≥2×, ≥3× average body) with progressively more opaque fills, transforming the cloud from a static visualization into a momentum-aware density map. Capitulation, ignition, and impulsive expansion phases become visually identifiable peripheral signals.
Third, it adds an explicit state machine layer over the raw HA visualization. Direction tracking, consecutive streak counting, 20-bar rolling body-size anomaly detection, and on-chart visual anomaly markers convert the visual cloud into a numerical readout reported live on a corner HUD. This converts subjective visual estimation (is this a long streak? is this body unusually large?) into deterministic measurements with configurable thresholds and a persistent visual record on the chart history.
Fourth, it exposes three independently-toggleable alerts (direction change, streak exhaustion, body anomaly) gated by bar confirmation, making the indicator usable as a confirmation filter or trigger source in automated workflows. Most HA-based indicators are visualization-only or expose a single direction-flip alert; the multi-condition alert set here is designed for traders building structured rules around HA state rather than just observing it.
The combination of dual-view preservation, body-intensity opacity modulation, state machine readout, visual anomaly markers, and multilingual UI produces a single overlay that combines the readability of Heikin Ashi smoothing with the precision of real candles, the rigor of a deterministic state readout, and the visual intuition of a density-aware momentum map.
