The default High/Low (0.11847 / 0.08376) was set against POL's recent observed range; update both whenever the regime changes.
Capital Deployment: The default Total Investment of 10,000 USDT is a virtual reference used for the avg-entry and open-PnL computation. The real sizing happens on the bot side — match the indicator's per-slot allocation to your bot's grid configuration to keep the avg-entry display honest.
Cross Detection Granularity: Crossings are detected on bar close, comparing the current close to the previous close. A bar that spikes through a level and returns within the same bar may be missed by design — this prevents over-signaling on intra-bar wicks.
Live vs Historical State: The virtual slot ledger is rebuilt from chart history each time the indicator is recompiled. If the indicator is added mid-deployment or the live bot diverges from the signal stream (manual interventions, partial fills), the indicator state may not match the live bot. Toggle the indicator off and on to reset.
No Stop Loss: There is no exit signal on adverse moves below the lowest grid level. Risk is structurally capped on the bot side by the bounded Total Investment configured at the bot. If a hard stop is required, layer it on the bot side.
Backtesting Note: This is an indicator, not a strategy. There is no built-in P&L tester. If the indicator is added mid-deployment or the live bot diverges from the signal stream (manual interventions, partial fills), the indicator state may not match the live bot. This indicator applies W.D. Gann's Time = Price principle using Pythagorean geometry to project natural time cycles and price grid levels directly on the chart.
Gann believed that financial markets move in geometric harmony — that price and time are not independent variables, but two sides of the same equation. When they balance, the market reaches a natural turning point.
This script operationalises that idea using the Pythagorean theorem — the ancient mathematical relationship where in a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse equals the sum of squares of the other two sides (a² + b² = c²). In market terms:
Side A (time) — the number of bars in the anchor swing
Side B (price) — the range of the anchor swing (High − Low)
Side C (hypotenuse) — the natural cycle projection derived from both
By selecting a Pythagorean Triple (sets of whole numbers satisfying a² + b² = c², such as 3-4-5, 5-12-13, 8-15-17), the script scales the time-price relationship into a precise geometric ratio. This ratio then defines the grid cell size, the cycle length, and the angle of the diagonal — all derived from a single anchor swing.
The result is a self-organising grid that maps where price should find support or resistance, and when time cycles are due to complete — giving the trader a structured, geometry-based framework rather than arbitrary indicator levels.
When time and price arrive at the same Pythagorean node simultaneously — the market is squaring — and that is where the highest-probability signals are generated.
Core Concepts
Time = Price Squaring
Price range and time duration are treated as the two legs of a right triangle. When they balance — the market is at a Square — reversals or accelerations are most likely.
Pythagorean Nodes
From the anchor swing (High → Low or Low → High), the script calculates:
Sq — Square of the swing (time leg = price leg). Highest grade signal
Hyp — Hypotenuse projection. Major cycle marker
½Hyp — Half Hypotenuse. Minor cycle node
½Sq — Early warning zone
These project forward as repeating time cycles across the chart.
Harmonic Grid
Price is divided into cells derived from the Pythagorean triple ratio (B/A × Range). The grid repeats both in time (columns) and price (rows), creating a natural map of support, resistance, and time confluence.

▌WHY IT'S USEFUL
Round numbers matter.
They often act as visual anchors for price reading, execution planning, reaction zones, and overall chart structure. But the native price scale does not always make these levels obvious enough, especially when you zoom in, zoom out, switch timeframes, or work on instruments with very different price behaviors.
This indicator builds a dedicated round-number scale directly on the chart and automatically adapts its density to the visible range, so the display stays readable instead of becoming overcrowded or too sparse.
It is designed to help you read price structure faster, keep important psychological levels visible, and maintain a cleaner visual framework across multiple chart conditions.
▌QUICK START
1. Add the indicator to your chart.
2. If the scale seems hidden, right-click the indicator name.
3. Go to Visual order → Bring to front.
4. Choose whether the scale is displayed on the left or right side.
5. Adjust the Size and Offset settings if you want a wider, tighter, or shifted display.
6. Optionally enable short numbers, labels, ruled lines, or a different visual theme.
▌MAIN SETTINGS
• Scale
Choose the side of the chart, the visual theme, the wall size, and the horizontal offset.
• Labels
Show or hide labels, increase or reduce their size, and switch to short number formatting such as 1K / 1M / 1B.
• Lines
Show or hide grid lines, adjust line thickness, and enable ruled lines for a lighter alternating visual structure.
• Themes
The indicator includes multiple visual styles and automatically adapts to the chart background for better contrast.
▌HOW IT WORKS
The script detects the currently visible chart window and computes an adaptive round-number grid based on the instrument, the timeframe, and the visible price range.
It then:
- builds a dedicated side scale,
- selects visible round-number levels,
- highlights the strongest levels,
- draws matching horizontal guide lines on the chart,
- and filters label density automatically to keep the display readable.
On lower timeframes, it can also display finer subdivisions of the round-number structure when relevant.
▌WARNINGS & LIMITS
If the scale is not visible, this is usually only a display-order issue:
Visual order → Bring to front.
The indicator automatically adjusts round-number density to the visible chart range, but no fully dynamic layout can be perfect in every possible situation.
In particular, adaptation may be less precise when combining:
- very high timeframes,
- very large historical ranges,
- strong volatility,
- or logarithmic scaling.
If needed, try one of the following:
- switch back to a linear scale,
- zoom slightly in or out,
- use a lower timeframe,
- adjust the Scale size parameter.
