A trend-following cloud built from two exponential moving averages — one applied to daily highs, the other to daily lows. Instead of a single EMA line, you get a zone that shows where the average high and average low of recent sessions sit, which makes it easier to judge whether price is extended, pulling back into value, or losing the trend entirely.
How it works
The indicator pulls the daily high and daily low of the instrument and calculates a separate EMA on each:
Upper cloud boundary = EMA of daily highs
Lower cloud boundary = EMA of daily lows
Center line = standard EMA of close, plotted for reference
Because the source values are fetched from the daily timeframe, the cloud stays anchored to daily structure regardless of the chart timeframe you're viewing. The same zone appears on a 5-minute chart as on a daily chart.
How to use it
Price holding above the cloud in an uptrend, with pullbacks that stall at the upper boundary or dip into the zone, is the typical continuation behaviour.
The cloud acts as a dynamic support/resistance band rather than a single line, which reduces the noise of price briefly piercing a lone EMA.
The lower boundary (EMA of daily lows) is a natural reference for trailing stops in long positions; the upper boundary serves the same role for shorts.
Price closing through and holding on the far side of the cloud signals a possible trend change.

Notes
On intraday timeframes, the current day's high and low are still forming, so the most recent cloud values update as the session develops and settle once the daily bar closes. Historical values are fixed. This is expected behaviour for any indicator sourced from a higher timeframe.

What it does
This indicator plots three things in one pane:
CCI (Commodity Channel Index), colored by trend state and filtered through a selectable signal moving average
RSI (Relative Strength Index), colored by 50-midline bias
A Bollinger Band envelope around the CCI line for spotting volatility expansion/contraction
On top of that, it independently scans both CCI and RSI for regular bullish/bearish divergence against price, and flags the bars where both oscillators agree — a higher-confidence signal than either alone.
How the signal engine works
CCI = (source − SMA(source)) / (0.015 × mean deviation), using HLC3 by default
Signal MA: the CCI line is compared against a moving average of itself to determine trend bias (CCI ≥ MA = bullish tint, CCI < MA = bearish tint). Choose from six MA types: SMA, EMA, ALMA, DEMA, QEMA, DWMA
DEMA/QEMA/DWMA are custom-built (not native to Pine) — DEMA is a double-smoothed EMA, QEMA is a quadruple-nested EMA, DWMA is a double-smoothed WMA. Higher smoothing = fewer whipsaws, more lag
RSI runs on its own independent length setting (separate from the CCI length), so you can tune sensitivity for each oscillator without them fighting each other
Divergence detection uses pivot highs/lows on both CCI and RSI, checked against price action within a configurable bar-distance window (so old, stale pivots don't get matched against fresh ones)
CCI Bollinger Bands: a standard basis ± multiplier × standard deviation envelope calculated on either the raw CCI value or the Signal MA (your choice), letting you see when CCI is stretching outside its normal range
How to read the chart

Try DEMA/QEMA/DWMA as the Signal MA type if you find the default ALMA too reactive or too laggy for your timeframe — each trades off responsiveness against whipsaw filtering differently
Works on any timeframe and instrument; divergence-based tools generally perform best combined with a higher-timeframe trend filter or support/resistance context rather than in isolation
Notes
This is a visual/analytical tool, not a standalone buy/sell signal generator — treat divergence as one input among several in your decision process, not a mechanical trigger
Divergence signals are confirmed only after the right-side pivot lookback bars have closed, so labels appear with a small lag by design (this avoids repainting on the pivot itself)

A multi-cloud EMA overlay that renders several timeframes of EMA9 trend on one chart, without switching timeframe.
THE IDEA
On a fixed chart, an EMA of a given length reads as the EMA9 of a higher timeframe — a fixed degree ladder. Anchored on the 5-minute:
EMA9 → M5 EMA9
EMA14 → M10 EMA9
EMA21 → M15 EMA9
34/50 → hourly (H1) EMA9
So the M5 chart carries the M5, M10, M15 and hourly EMA9 trends simultaneously. Each cloud shades the space between two adjacent rungs; price position and agreement across timeframes read at a glance.
WHY THE 5-MINUTE
On down days the 15-minute is the dominant trailing timeframe: reversions into the M15 EMA9 — the 21-EMA here — get sold. Anchoring execution on the 5-minute lets you trade hourly swings with fine entries while the higher-timeframe structure stays on the one chart.
The significance of the 5-minute as the anchor for hourly swings only becomes clear once trend structure is understood.

The fast anchor on the working clouds sits at 8 rather than 9 to sharpen the EMA9 curl and read the turn a fraction sooner. What matters is price accepting or rejecting the cloud, not the exact line — the clouds represent the EMA9 across timeframes regardless. Each toggles independently.
Remember that trend structure leads, the EMA clouds are just moving average offering a solid momentum gauge.
READING IT
All clouds stacked in order and up-configured = every mapped timeframe's EMA9 aligned.
Price accepting a cloud confirms that timeframe's EMA9 trend; rejecting it flags the turn.
Below the 21 (M15 EMA9) on a down day = the crowd's trailing line lost; reversions sell.

While moving-average clouds are a familiar concept, this implementation is designed to provide a more complete and flexible workspace in a single indicator. Its distinguishing feature is the combination of five separately configurable clouds, multiple moving-average types, optional direction-colored MA lines, customizable visuals, and deliberate cloud layering.
HOW IT WORKS
Each cloud consists of a short moving average and a long moving average calculated from the same selected price source.
• When the short MA is greater than or equal to the long MA, the cloud uses its configured bullish color.
• When the short MA is below the long MA, the cloud uses its configured bearish color.
The optional MA lines have their own directional coloring. Each line uses its bullish color while rising and its bearish color while falling. This means the line colors represent the slope of each individual average, while the cloud color represents the relationship between the short and long averages.
MOVING-AVERAGE OPTIONS
Each cloud can independently use one of five calculation methods:
• EMA — Exponential Moving Average
• SMA — Simple Moving Average
• HMA — Hull Moving Average
• WMA — Weighted Moving Average
• RMA — Running Moving Average
This makes it possible to build an all-EMA ribbon, use a different MA type for each cloud, or create a custom combination for a particular market or trading style.
DEFAULT CLOUDS
The default configuration uses the closing price as the source and EMA calculations with the following short/long lengths:
• Cloud 1: 5 / 13
• Cloud 2: 9 / 13
• Cloud 3: 21 / 50
• Cloud 4: 100 / 200
• Cloud 5: 400 / 800
These defaults provide several views of market structure, ranging from short-term momentum to much longer-term trend context. They are starting points only and can be changed to suit the instrument and timeframe being analyzed.
CUSTOMIZATION
Every cloud includes independent controls for:
• Visibility
• Short and long MA lengths
• Price source
• Moving-average type
• Plot offset
• MA-line visibility
• Rising and falling colors for each MA line
• Bullish and bearish cloud colors
• Color transparency
The MA lines can be hidden for a cleaner cloud-only chart or displayed when the exact averages and their individual directions are useful.
PURPOSEFUL CLOUD LAYERING
The clouds use a deliberate drawing order. Cloud 5 is drawn first at the bottom of the visual stack, followed by Clouds 4 through 1. Cloud 1 is therefore the top layer.
When using the clouds from faster to slower, place the shortest-term pair in Cloud 1 and continue toward the longest-term pair in Cloud 5. This keeps faster clouds visible above slower clouds and produces more intuitive blending when transparent colors overlap.
A different ordering can be used intentionally, but reversing this structure may allow a longer-term cloud to cover shorter-term information.
WAYS TO USE IT
The indicator can help visualize:
• Short-, medium-, and long-term trend structure
• Bullish or bearish alignment across several MA pairs
• Changes in momentum as individual averages turn
• Moving-average crossovers and cloud transitions
• Compression, expansion, and overlap between trend horizons
• Areas where different trend horizons agree or conflict
For example, several bullish clouds stacked above their respective longer averages can indicate broad trend alignment. Mixed cloud states can highlight a transition or disagreement between short- and long-term structure.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Moving averages are lagging calculations derived from historical price data. They do not predict future price movement, and cloud transitions can produce false or rapidly changing indications in sideways or volatile markets.
The current, unfinished chart bar can change as new price data arrives. Plot offsets move the display forward by the selected number of bars for visual purposes; they do not provide future information or change the underlying calculations.

How VWAP Is Calculated
VWAP weights price by the volume traded at that price, rather than treating all price ticks equally — so it reflects where the real trading activity concentrated, not just a simple average.
This script computes it manually (not via a black-box built-in), which allows for flexible anchoring:
Session — resets daily (best for lower timeframes, intraday charts)

Standard deviation bands are plotted at three levels (1, 2, and 3 std dev by default), giving visual reference points for "normal," "stretched," and "extreme" price deviation from the volume-weighted average.
Strategy Modes
Trend Following
Looks for price to break through VWAP (or an outer band) in a direction confirmed by VWAP's own slope — the idea being that VWAP acting as support/resistance and trending in your trade's direction adds conviction to the move.
Three selectable entry triggers: VWAP Cross, Band 1 Break, Band 2 Break
VWAP slope filter (with adjustable lookback and minimum slope %) to avoid trading flat/directionless VWAP
Take-profit targets at the opposite band or at VWAP itself
Best suited for: momentum-driven, higher-volatility names where trends persist once established.
Mean Reversion
Looks for price to overextend beyond a chosen band, then trades the snap-back toward VWAP. Includes an ADX filter to specifically avoid taking reversion trades during strongly trending conditions (where "buying the dip" or "fading the rip" is historically much riskier).
Three selectable entry triggers: Outside Band, Band Cross, Band Reclaim (wick-and-recover confirmation — the most conservative/false-signal-resistant option)
ADX filter caps entries below a configurable trend-strength threshold
Maximum VWAP deviation cap (in ATR units) to avoid catching a falling knife on extreme extensions
Best suited for: range-bound, lower-volatility names where price oscillates predictably around a stable average.
Filter System (False-Signal Reduction)
Every entry — in either mode — passes through a shared base filter layer before mode-specific logic is applied:
Volume Filter: Requires volume above a multiple of its recent average, filtering out low-conviction moves
Volatility (ATR) Filter: Requires a minimum ATR (as % of price) to avoid dead, directionless conditions
Band Width Filter: Avoids trading when bands are unusually tight (a sign of indecision and high whipsaw risk)
VWAP Slope Filter (Trend mode): Confirms VWAP itself is moving meaningfully in the trade direction, not just flat
ADX Filter (Mean Reversion mode): Blocks entries when the broader trend is too strong to safely fade
Each filter can be toggled independently, so you can isolate which conditions matter most for the instrument and timeframe you're trading.
Optional Confluence Layer
A secondary indicator can be layered on top of either mode:
RSI — for trend mode, confirms momentum direction; for mean reversion, confirms oversold/overbought exhaustion via a crossover trigger
EMA Regime (200-period default) — acts as a higher-level trend filter, only allowing longs above the EMA and shorts below it
Risk Management
Risk-based position sizing — position size is calculated from your risk % input divided by stop distance, not a fixed share count
Maximum position size cap (% of equity) — acts as a hard ceiling so tight-stop trades can't produce oversized positions
Two stop-loss methods — ATR-multiple based, or band-based (using the outer bands as structural stop references)
Two take-profit methods — opposite band target, or VWAP itself
Optional fixed take-profit lock — freezes the target price at entry rather than letting it drift with VWAP
Optional break-even stop — moves the stop to entry once a configurable ATR-multiple of profit is reached

VWAP line color-shifts between two colors depending on whether price is above or below it
Three-tier shaded band system for at-a-glance visual reference of price deviation
Entry markers (triangle up/down) plotted directly on signal bars

Important Notes Before Use
Match your anchor period to your timeframe. Session anchoring is built for intraday charts; on higher timeframes (2H+), Week or Month anchoring will produce more reliable slope readings, since Session resets can occur every few bars and distort trend measurement.
Backtest results include commission assumptions but not slippage — adjust the commission/slippage settings in the strategy properties to reflect your actual broker before drawing conclusions from performance metrics.

Multi-Timeframe Moving AveragesMulti-Timeframe Moving Averages (MTF MAs) is an all-in-one moving-average overlay with 16 independently configurable slots: eight calculated on the chart timeframe and eight calculated on user-selected timeframes. It combines local and higher-timeframe structure without requiring multiple indicators or repeated chart changes. Every line can be shown or hidden and assigned its own length, calculation type, and color.
The higher-timeframe averages are calculated inside their requested timeframe. For example, a 20-period one-hour EMA on a five-minute chart is calculated from 20 one-hour observations, not from 20 five-minute observations or by scaling an existing chart-timeframe EMA. This preserves the mathematical meaning of the selected length and timeframe.
Its distinctive feature is the MTF display. Completed intervals show finalized MA levels, while the developing interval is rendered as one horizontal line that grows across the interval and adjusts to the current MTF value. This keeps the active higher-timeframe level clear instead of leaving behind a noisy trail of provisional updates.
MOVING-AVERAGE TYPES
Every chart and MTF slot supports nine calculation types:
- SMA uses equal weighting; EMA and RMA use recursive weighting that emphasizes recent observations.
- WMA applies linear weighting, while HMA combines weighted averages for greater responsiveness.
- VWMA weights price by volume, and LSMA returns the endpoint of a least-squares regression line.
- DEMA and TEMA combine multiple EMA stages to reduce conventional EMA lag.
Each method processes the selected source over the selected length. The methods differ in weighting, smoothness, responsiveness, and potential overshoot; none is inherently best for every instrument or market condition.
HOW THE MTF DISPLAY WORKS
Suppose a one-hour EMA is displayed on a five-minute chart. The value changes while the hour is still forming. Connecting every five-minute snapshot can produce a noisy path that obscures the level currently in effect.
MTF MA uses a two-layer rendering method:
- Completed intervals display the finalized higher-timeframe MA value across the chart bars belonging to that interval.
- The developing interval uses the current, unconfirmed MTF value to draw one horizontal segment from the beginning of the interval to the latest bar.
As new chart bars arrive, the live segment extends horizontally and relocates vertically. Its previous provisional positions are not left behind as a separate path. When the higher-timeframe bar completes, its final level joins the historical display and a new live segment begins.
Optional labels identify each active MTF line by timeframe, length, type, and current value. Labels are placed four chart bars to the right for readability only; this horizontal placement does not represent future data.
WHY TWO MTF CALCULATIONS ARE USED
The script requests each MTF average twice. In simplified Pine Script, the calculation is:

Placing `ma_type()` inside `request.security()` is important: PulseWire evaluates the selected MA from bars in the requested timeframe. The script is not calculating an MA from lower-timeframe bars and then relabeling or rescaling it.
The historical request supplies the finalized value used to draw each completed interval. The realtime request supplies the developing value of the active interval. The script counts how many chart bars have elapsed inside that interval and recreates one horizontal line at the latest realtime value:

Both endpoints use the same price, so the live MTF display remains horizontal. Its left endpoint stays at the beginning of the higher-timeframe interval, its right endpoint advances with the chart, and the entire segment moves to the latest developing value. This historical/realtime separation provides a visually clean completed record without sacrificing a responsive current level. The same pattern is applied independently to all eight MTF slots.
HOW TO USE IT
Use Chart Timeframe MAs for averages calculated directly from the current chart bars and MTF MAs for averages calculated from another timeframe. Each slot may be enabled independently. Set its length, type, and color; MTF slots also have individual timeframes and labels. Source is shared by the chart MAs, while MTF Source is shared by the MTF group. Show MTF Historical Lines and Show MTF Labels are master display switches.
The intended use is to select MTF periods equal to or higher than the chart timeframe. This makes it possible, for example, to monitor a one-hour, four-hour, and daily moving-average structure while executing from a lower-timeframe chart.
LIMITATIONS AND REPAINTING
Moving averages are descriptive transformations of past and developing price or volume data. They are not support or resistance guarantees, forecasts, trade signals, or evidence that price must react when a line is reached.
The active horizontal MTF segment is calculated from an unconfirmed higher-timeframe bar. It intentionally moves as that bar develops, and its final value may differ from levels displayed earlier in the interval. The indicator does not preserve that sequence of provisional live values.
Historical MTF segments are retrospective by design. To display a completed higher-timeframe level across its full interval, the script uses lookahead when mapping the finalized value onto the interval's lower-timeframe bars. The historical segment therefore shows where the final level belongs visually, not the sequence of values that was available while that interval developed. Historical price contacts, crosses, or apparent reactions must not be treated as time-causal signals or used for backtesting.
Selecting an MTF period below the chart timeframe returns only limited intrabar information and is not the intended use of this indicator. Results also depend on the chart's source data, session, and candle type. Standard candles are recommended when comparing moving-average values with actual traded prices.
