Normalized FX Majors Matrix FDP (8 Currencies)### Overview
The **Normalized FX Majors Matrix** is a premium Currency Strength Index designed to measure the absolute performance of the 8 major global currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD).
Instead of looking at isolated currency pairs, this indicator processes a flawless mathematically symmetrical matrix of all 28 underlying cross-rates, extracting the true geometric equally-weighted strength of each individual currency.
### How It Works
1. **Mathematical Symmetry:** The indicator requests 28 major cross-rates to build an unbiased basket. Each currency is measured accurately against 7 other counterparties.
2. **Log Returns & Smoothing:** It calculates the logarithmic returns of each pair to handle volatility scaling properly, with an optional EMA smoothing parameter to filter out short-term market noise.
3. **Base 100 Rebase:** All 8 lines are re-anchored to a value of 100 at the beginning of the user-defined lookback window (`Normalization Window`). This allows for an instant visual comparison of cumulative returns.
4. **Dynamic Leaderboard:** A real-time dashboard ranks the currencies from strongest to weakest, color-coded dynamically to match the plot lines.
### How to Trade with It
- **Trend Following (Strong vs. Weak):** Look at the ranking table. Pair the strongest currency at the top with the weakest currency at the bottom (e.g., if USD is top and JPY is bottom, look for Long opportunities on USDJPY).
- **Crossover Signals:** When a currency line crosses above another, it indicates a shifting global capital flow.
- **Breakout Confirmation:** Use this matrix to confirm if a chart breakout is supported by true individual currency strength or if it is just a false move driven by the counter-currency. Indicator

Currency Strength MeterCurrency Strength Meter — 8 Majors
Track real-time relative strength across the 8 major currencies in a single panel: USD, EUR, JPY, GBP, AUD, CHF, CAD and NZD. Each currency is benchmarked against the average performance of the group, so you can instantly see which currencies are bid and which are offered — without flipping between a dozen FX charts.
What it shows
Each line represents a currency's strength relative to the basket average, expressed in basis points (bps) of percentage move since the anchor reset. A currency above the zero line is outperforming the average, below zero it's underperforming. The relative ranking matters more than the absolute values — if USD is at +40 bps and JPY is at -60 bps, you're looking at a 100 bps gap of relative momentum that typically shows up in USD/JPY price action.
The math: the script pulls EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, USDCAD, computes each currency's percentage move since the anchor (inverted for the quote currencies), then subtracts the basket mean so all 8 strengths sum to zero. This removes the USD bias inherent to most "strength meters" that just measure pairs against the dollar.
Why it matters
Currency strength meters cut through the noise of individual pair charts. When you see the same pattern repeated across multiple pairs (EUR weak vs USD, EUR weak vs JPY, EUR weak vs GBP), it's no longer about one pair — it's about EUR itself. This indicator surfaces that signal in one glance.
Particularly useful for:
Pair selection — long the strongest, short the weakest for maximum dispersion
Avoiding chop — when two currencies are clustered near zero, their cross is likely to range
Spotting regime shifts when a currency suddenly breaks away from the pack
Confirming or fading reactions to central bank decisions, CPI, NFP across the FX complex
Filtering out fake breakouts on individual pairs that aren't backed by broader strength
Viewport-following labels (the killer feature)
Unlike most strength meters where labels stick to the latest bar, the labels here follow the right edge of your visible viewport . Scroll back in history and the labels update to show the strength values at that point in time — not at the current bar. This lets you study historical setups with the same readability as the live state, no zooming and hovering required.
Labels are automatically positioned to avoid overlap when multiple currencies are clustered, with configurable spacing (auto or manual).
Anchor modes
Daily : reset at the start of each trading day (default — best for intraday)
Weekly : reset at the start of each week (best for swing trading)
Session (Lookback) : rolling N-bar window for continuous measurement (best for context-free relative strength)
Settings
Reset anchor : Daily, Weekly, or rolling Session lookback
EMA smoothing : optional smoothing to filter intrabar noise (1 = raw, no smoothing)
Line width : 1 to 4
Currency toggles : show or hide each of the 8 currencies independently
Custom colors : each currency line can be recolored
Label gap : auto (scales with range) or manual (fixed bps gap)
Zero line : visual reference for relative strength sign
Recommended setup
Apply on any forex pair, on a 15m to 1h timeframe for intraday work, or 4h to daily for swing analysis. The indicator uses the chart's symbol only as a time base — the strength calculation is independent of which pair you're viewing.
Best paired with the underlying price action: when a currency breaks out on the strength meter, look at its strongest/weakest counterpart to find the best pair to trade the move.
Notes
Strength is measured against the 7 majors using direct or inverted USD crosses. JPY, CHF and CAD are inverted (since they're quote currencies vs USD in their major pair), so a rising USDJPY shows as JPY weakness, not strength. The mean-subtraction step normalizes the basket so all 8 values sum to zero, giving you true relative momentum rather than dollar-skewed readings.

Period Range AnalyzerThis indicator analyzes a specific periodic range, which can start from a fixed date or a defined lookback period. It draws percentage levels and colored zones between the highest and lowest price. It also displays a detailed information table, which shows the price's position within the range in "Trend" mode, and the relative strength of currency pairs in "Forex" mode. The current price position is also indicated by a label with a percentage value and the name of the corresponding zone.
User Guide
Calculation Method
This setting determines how the indicator defines the range used for the calculation.
Lookback Period: In this mode, the indicator uses the last N candles (the number can be specified in the "Lookback Period (bars)" field). The range (the highest and lowest price) is "floating," meaning it is recalculated with each new candle based on the last N candles.
Date Based: In this mode, the calculation starts from a fixed date and time you select. The indicator finds the opening price of the start date and continuously tracks the highest and lowest price from that point on. This mode is ideal for measuring performance from a specific event (e.g., start of a week/month/year, news).
Data Handling Note: If you select a date in "Date Based" mode for which no data is available on the current timeframe (e.g., switching to a very low timeframe), the indicator will automatically use the earliest available candle as the starting point. All calculations (Open, Max, Min, Range, Percentage, Change, Trend) are based on this actual start date.
Start Date & Time
This setting is only active in "Date Based" mode.
Here you can specify the fixed starting point for the calculation.
The specified time is in the Exchange timezone.
Important limitation: Due to PulseWire platform limits, visual elements (levels, zones) are only drawn for a maximum of 250 candles back. If the set date is older than this, the calculation still applies to the entire period (from the set date), but the drawing only covers the last 250 candles. The table always displays accurate data for the entire period.
When switching to a higher timeframe, the range may restart from a slightly later bar due to PulseWire's bar alignment. For best accuracy, set your timeframe first, then select the start date.
Table Mode
This setting controls what data the information table displays.
Trend: This is the default mode, which works on any symbol (stock, index, crypto, etc.). It displays information related to the trend and the range.
Forex: This is a special mode used to measure the strength of currency and crypto pairs. It only works on symbols with exactly 6 characters (e.g., "EURUSD", "BTCUSD"). It treats the first 3 characters as the base currency (e.g., EUR) and the last 3 as the quote currency (e.g., USD). If the symbol does not have 6 characters, the table will automatically display in "Trend" mode.
Trend
This trend determination operates based on the formation order of the high and low within the analyzed range:
Its switch is located in the “Table Additional Rows” menu.
Bullish: Indicated if the low was formed before the high (on different candles). Or if they formed on the same candle, it was a bullish candle.
Bearish: Indicated if the high was formed before the low (on different candles). Or if they formed on the same candle, it was a bearish candle.
Neutral: Indicated if the high and low formed on the same candle, and it was a "doji" candle (close = open).
Upper & Lower Threshold
These settings (Upper Threshold (%) and Lower Threshold (%) in the "Label Coloring" section) primarily determine the state (Bullish/Bearish/Neutral) of the top row of the table.
The logic is not based on the percentage change of the price movement, but on the current price's position within the range, where the bottom of the range is 0% and the top is 100%.
Upper Threshold (%): The percentage level (e.g., 60.0) above which the indicator considers the price position "Bullish" (or "Strong").
Lower Threshold (%): The percentage level (e.g., 40.0) below which the indicator considers the price position "Bearish" (or "Weak").
If the price is between the two (e.g., between 40% and 60%), the signal is Neutral.
Secondary function: These thresholds also control the color of the label next to the price, provided the "Dynamic Label Coloring" option is enabled.
Indicator

Range Percentage Analyzer This indicator is a tool for analyzing the market range and trend. It calculates the extent of price movement between a specified starting point and the current price, displaying it as a percentage.
The calculation can be based on a fixed lookback period (e.g., the last 30 candles) or from a fixed start date. It also provides a clear table that shows the general trend in "Trend" mode, and the relative strength of the base and quote currencies of forex pairs (e.g., EURUSD) in "Forex" mode.
User Guide
Calculation Method
This setting determines how the indicator defines the starting point for the calculation.
Lookback Period: In this mode, the indicator uses the last N candles (the number can be specified in the "Lookback Period (bars)" field, maximum 250).
The starting point is "floating," meaning it shifts with each new candle. For example, with a setting of 30, the 30th candle from the current one will always be the starting point.
Date Based: In this mode, the calculation starts from a fixed date and time you select.
This mode is ideal for measuring performance from a specific event (e.g., news, start of a week/month).
Note: If you select a date in "Date Based" mode for which no data is available on the current timeframe (e.g., switching to a very low timeframe), the indicator will automatically use the earliest available candle as the starting point.
Start Date & Time
This setting is only active in "Date Based" mode.
Here you can specify the fixed starting point for the calculation.
The specified time is in the Exchange timezone.
Important limitation: Due to PulseWire platform limits, visual elements (box, line) are only drawn for a maximum of 250 candles back.
If the set date is older than this, the calculation still applies to the entire period (from the set date), but the drawing only covers the last 250 candles.
When switching to a higher timeframe, the range may restart from a slightly later bar due to PulseWire's bar alignment. For best accuracy, set your timeframe first, then select the start date.

If the symbol does not have 6 characters, the table will automatically display in "Trend" mode.
Extremes Trend Row
If this is enabled, the table displays an additional row that determines the trend based on the formation order of the high and low within the analyzed range.
The logic is as follows:
Bullish: Indicated if the low was formed before the high.
(Or if they formed on the same candle, which was a bullish candle).
Bearish: Indicated if the high was formed before the low.
(Or if they formed on the same candle, which was a bearish candle).
Neutral: Indicated if the high and low formed on the same candle, and it was a "doji" candle (close = open).
Upper & Lower Threshold
These settings control the logic for the "Change Trend" and "Forex Display" rows at the top of the table.
They determine when the total percentage change for the entire period is considered "Bullish/Strong", "Bearish/Weak", or "Neutral".
Upper Threshold (%): The percentage value (default 0.1%) above which the indicator considers the change "Bullish/Strong".
Lower Threshold (%): The percentage value (default -0.1%) below which the indicator considers the change "Bearish/Weak".
If the change is between the two, the signal is Neutral.

Standardized Cumulative Deltas [LuxAlgo]The Standardized Cumulative Deltas tool allows traders to compare the cumulative standardized open-close difference for up to 10 different tickers, allowing them to visualize the general sentiment for all selected tickers.
These results allow the construction of two areas showing the average or extreme bullish and bearish cumulative change for all enabled tickers, providing a summarized view of the overall ticker group sentiment.
🔶 USAGE
This tool is meant to give a full picture of the individuals and/or overall selected tickers, and unlike classical indicators, the displayed series of values is not meant to be directly interpreted over time.
Given the selected lookback period, a majority of observations being above 0 indicate an overall bullish market for the asset.
By default, the auto lookback period feature is enabled, allowing the tool to use all the visible bars for its calculations. Traders can also set the lookback period manually. The above chart uses a fixed lookback period of 500.
Up to 10 tickers can be used. While major cryptocurrencies are set by default, the users can set a specific basket of assets, such as US equities, forex pairs, commodities, etc.
🔹 Densities
The provided areas, here called densities, can be used to get an overall sentiment of the selected tickers. The upper density (bullish) processes positive deltas, while the lower one (bearish) processes negative ones.
Interpretation is subject to the selected "Density Mode".
Average: Densities track the average bullish/bearish cumulative deltas for the selected tickers. For example, a more prominent bullish density would indicate that, on average, cumulative deltas were positive across the tickers.
Envelope: Densities track the extreme values made by bullish/bearish cumulative deltas for the selected tickers. Here, a more prominent density would indicate more volatile bullish/bearish movements, depending on the density.
🔹 Dashboard
The tool features a dashboard with active tickers and their respective colors for traders' convenience.
🔶 DETAILS
🔹 Densities
Densities are obtained by applying a forward-backward exponential moving average on the average, or the highest/lowest cumulative series, depending on the selected Density Mode.
The resulting densities are smoothed by the "Smoothing" parameter located in the Settings panel, with higher values returning smoother envelopes with less variability.
Do note that the smoothing method used here is subject to repainting.
🔶 SETTINGS
Lookback: Select the lookback period and enable/disable the Auto Lookback feature
Tickers: Enable/disable and select up to 10 tickers and their colors

Currency Strength v3.0Currency Strength v3.0
Summary
The Currency Strength indicator is a powerful tool designed to gauge the relative strength of major and emerging market currencies. By plotting the True Strength Index (TSI) of various currency indices, it provides a clear visual representation of which currencies are gaining momentum and which are losing it. This indicator automatically detects the currency pair on your chart and highlights the corresponding strength lines, simplifying analysis and helping you quickly identify potential trading opportunities based on currency dynamics.
Key Features
Comprehensive Currency Analysis: Tracks the strength of 19 currencies, including major pairs and several emerging market currencies.
Automatic Pair Detection: Intelligently identifies the base and quote currency of the active chart, automatically highlighting the relevant strength lines.
Dynamic Coloring: The base currency is consistently colored blue, and the quote currency is colored gold, making it easy to distinguish between the two at a glance.
Non-Repainting TSI Calculation: Uses the True Strength Index (TSI) for smooth and reliable momentum readings that do not repaint.
Customizable Settings: Allows for adjustment of the fast and slow periods for the TSI calculation to fit your specific trading style.
Clean Interface: Features a minimalist legend table that only displays the currencies relevant to your current chart, keeping your workspace uncluttered.
How It Works
The indicator pulls data from major currency indices (like DXY for the US Dollar and EXY for the Euro). For currencies that don't have a dedicated index, it uses their USD pair (e.g., USDCNY) and inverts the calculation to derive the currency's strength relative to the dollar. It then applies the True Strength Index (TSI) to this data. The TSI is a momentum oscillator that is less volatile than other oscillators, providing a more reliable measure of strength. The resulting values are plotted on the chart, allowing you to see how different currencies are performing against each other in real-time.
How to Use
Trend Confirmation: When the base currency's line is rising and above the zero line, and the quote currency's line is falling, it can confirm a bullish trend for the pair. The opposite would suggest a bearish trend.
Identifying Divergences: Look for divergences between the currency strength lines and the price action of the pair. For example, if the price is making higher highs but the base currency's strength is making lower highs, it could signal a potential reversal.
Crossovers: A crossover of the base and quote currency lines can signal a shift in momentum. A bullish signal occurs when the base currency line crosses above the quote currency line. A bearish signal occurs when it crosses below.
Overbought/Oversold Levels: The horizontal dashed lines at 0.5 and -0.5 can be used as general guides for overbought and oversold conditions, respectively. Strength moving beyond these levels may indicate an unsustainable move that is due for a correction.
Settings
Fast Period: The short-term period for the TSI calculation. Default is 7.
Slow Period: The long-term period for the TSI calculation. Default is 15.
Index Source: The price source used for the calculations (e.g., Close, Open). Default is Close.
Base Currency Color: The color for the base currency line. Default is Royal Blue.
Quote Currency Color: The color for the quote currency line. Default is Goldenrod.

Sector relative strength and correlation by KaschkoThis script provides a quick overview of the relative strength and correlation of the symbols in a sector by showing a line chart of the close prices on a percent scale with all symbols starting at zero at the left side of the chart. It allows a great deal of flexibility in the configuration of the sectors and symbols in it. The standard preset sectors cover the most important futures markets and their symbols.
However, up to ten sectors with up to ten symbols each can be freely configured. Each sector is defined by a single line that has the following format:
Sector name:Symbol suffix:List of comma separated symbols
For example, the first predefined sector is defined as follows.
Energies:1!:CL,HO,NG,RB
1. The name of the sector is "Energies"
2. The suffix is "1!", i.e., to each symbol in the list "1!" is appended to get the continous future for the given symbol root. When using stock, forex or other symbols, simply leave the suffix empty.
3. The list of comma separated symbols is "CL,HO,NG,RB", i.e. crude oil, heating oil, natural gas and gasoline. As the suffix is "1!", the actual symbols whose prices are shown are "CL1!","HO1!","NG1!" and "RB1!"
You can choose to use settlement-as-close and back-adjusted contracts. The sector can also be determined automatically ("Auto-select"). In this case, it is determined to which sector the symbol currently displayed in the main chart belongs and the script displays it in the context of the other symbols in the sector.
By selecting a suitable chart time frame and time range, you can quickly determine which symbols in the sector are stronger or weaker and which are more or less strongly correlated.
The following symbols are best suited for a quick trial, as the sectors are preset for these:
CL1!,ES1!,6A1!,6B1!,6c1!,6E1!,6J1!,6M1!,6N1!,6S1!,GC1!,GF1!,HE1!,HG1!,HO1!,LBR1!,LE1!,NG1!,NQ1!,PA1!,PL1!,RB1!,SI1!,YM1!,ZB1!,ZC1!,ZF1!,ZL1!,ZM1!,ZN1!,ZO1!,ZR1!,ZS1!,ZT1!,ZW1!,CC1!,CT1!,DX1!,KC1!,OJ1!,SB1!,RTY1!
You can also use the script to compare any symbols (e.g. different shares) with each other. Preferably use the "Custom" sector for this. Indicator

Indicator

Currency Pair Index IndicatorHere's how it works step by step:
The indicator takes an input parameter called "length," which determines the number of bars to consider for the calculation. A higher length value will result in a smoother indicator, while a lower length value will make it more sensitive to recent price changes.
It then calculates the bullish sentiment by summing the volume multiplied by the price change (close - open) for each bar where the close price is greater than the open price. If the close price is not greater than the open price, the value for that bar is set to zero. The sum of these values is divided by the total volume for the selected bars.
Similarly, the bearish sentiment is calculated by summing the volume multiplied by the price change (open - close) for each bar where the close price is less than the open price. If the close price is not less than the open price, the value for that bar is set to zero. The sum of these values is divided by the total volume for the selected bars.
The bullish and bearish values are then plotted on the chart as separate line graphs. The bullish sentiment is represented by a green line, while the bearish sentiment is represented by a red line.
The difference between the bullish and bearish values is also plotted as a blue line. This line represents the overall sentiment of the currency pair index.
Additionally, arrow symbols are plotted below the price bars to indicate bullish or bearish signals. A green arrow is displayed when the bullish sentiment is higher than the bearish sentiment, indicating a bullish signal. A red arrow is displayed when the bearish sentiment is higher than the bullish sentiment, indicating a bearish signal.
By observing the indicator's line graphs and arrow symbols, traders can get an idea of the overall sentiment of the currency pair and identify potential bullish or bearish trading opportunities. Indicator

Indicator

Currency Strength [LuxAlgo]The Currency Strength indicator displays the historical relative strength of 5 user selected currencies over a user selected period of time. Users can also display relative strength of currencies as a scatter plot, further informing on the evolution of currency strength.
🔶 SETTINGS
Display: Determines the type of data displayed by the indicator. By default, the trailing relative strength of currencies is displayed, with the other option displaying the scatter plot.
Timeframe: Timeframe period used to calculate currency relative strength.
🔹 Meter
Show Strength Meter: Displays the currency strength meter on the indicator panel.
Strength Meter Resolution: Resolution of the currency strength meter, higher resolutions allow to observe smaller difference in strength.
Location: Location of the currency strength meter on the indicator pane.
Size: Size of the currency strength meter.
🔹 Relative Strength Scatter Graph
Scatter Graph Resolution: Horizontal and vertical width of the scatter plot (in bars). Higher values allow a more precise position on the X axis.
🔶 USAGE
Measuring the relative strength of a currency allows users to assess the relative performance of a currency against a basket of other currencies.
The term "strength" can convey various interpretations depending on the indicator. Here "strength" is interpreted as an indicator of performance, with stronger currencies having greater performances over the selected period (positive changes of higher magnitude).
The Currency Strength indicator allows users to analyze the relative strength of currencies over a user selected period - the returned results will reset periodically and will accumulate afterward.
The above chart shows the hourly relative strength of various currencies on the 1min TF.
🔹 Scatter Graph
The scatter graph displays the relative strength of a currency over its value during the previous period. This not only allows users to see if a currency is strong... but also if it's getting stronger compared to the previous period.
In order to quickly interpret results, the graph is divided into four areas. A currency (displayed as a point) being in a specific area returns the following information:
Strong(Green): Currency has a positive relative strength (bullish) and is greater than its value over the previous period.
Improving (Yellow): Currency has a negative relative strength (bearish) and is greater than its value over the previous period.
Weakening (Aqua): Currency has a positive relative strength (bullish) and is lower than its value over the previous period.
Weak (Red): Currency has a negative relative strength (bearish) and is lower than its value over the previous period.
🔶 DETAILS
There is a wide variety of methods for the calculation of a currency's relative strength. The primary focus of the indicator is on the meter as well as the relative strength scatter graph. The currency strength calculation can be considered more basic.
Given two currencies, B (base) and Q (quote), the proposed indicator calculation process is as follows:
Exchange rate BQ(t) over time t is obtained, a rising value of BQ(t) means that a unit of B is now worth a higher amount of Q , highlighting strength of B over Q on that precise variation.
The individual relative strength over time IRS(t) is obtained as the percentage relatively close to the open difference of BQ(t) , that is:
IRS(t) = / open(t) * 100
Normalizing the close to open difference allows for the various currencies' relative strengths to approximately share the same scale.
The above operation is performed n times over a space of n currencies O( n ) . The obtained individual relative strengths for one specific currency are then added together, forming the final composite relative strength ( CRS ) of that currency:
CRS (t) = IRS (t) + IRS (t) + ... + IRS (t)
The cumulative sum of CRS(t) over the user selected period is then obtained. Indicator

Indicator

Forex Strength IndicatorThis indicator will display the strength of 8 currencies, EUR, AUD, NZD, JPY, USD, GBP, CHF, and CAD. Each line will represent each currency. Alongside that, Fibonacci levels will be plotted based on a standard deviation from linear regression, with customizable lengths.
For more steady Fibonacci levels, use higher lengths for both Standard Deviations and Linear Regression. All currency lines come from moving averages with options like EMA, SMA, WMA, RMA, HMA, SWMA, and Linear Regression.
When lines of the active pair are far from each other, it means higher divergence in those currency strengths among the other pairs. The closer the lines are, the lower the divergence.
You can use the Fibonacci levels as points for the reversal or end of the current trend. When the lines cross can be used as a parameter for a more accurate signal of the next movement.
All 28 pairs are loaded from the same time frame and will use the same moving average for all of them
Alerts from the line crossing are available. Indicator

Strategy

Equity Bond Currency DashboardDepicts demand-flow between Equities, Bonds and Currencies of 6 countries. Useful in tracking the flow of smart money and checking the dynamics of inter-connected markets.
Principle:
DXY lies at the heart of the diagram with usd-currency pairs of 5 countries connected to it. When demand for a currency increases it strengthens against Dollar. This is depicted by a line from DXY to the currency indicating demand flow from Dollar to the currency (DXY is only an indicative symbol for Dollar, the currency may not be part of the dollar index). Similarly when Dollar strengthens against the currency, demand flow is depicted by a line from the currency to DXY. Currency blocks are connected to Equity and Bond Yields of the respective countries. Equities and Bonds, when bought, takes the demand from the respective currencies and vice versa.
Overall, the demand flows in the direction of arrows. The flow is incomplete without commodities, import/export, interest/inflation rates of countries, however, the diagram most of the times explains why an asset class is performing the way it is.
Left side bar of each block is very similar to OHLC candles except for the following -
Instead of wicks, top and bottom of the bar represents high and low for the selected time-frame
Open and close are normalised for high and low
Bar border is red if close < prev.close, green if close >= prev.close
Other notes:
The diagram requires at least 200 bars in the chart to render. Please select the symbol and time-frame that contain at least 200 bars.
The diagram requires a live market to render the flow. To check flows on historical bars, set the option from settings.
Desired indices could be selected for countries of choice. Default settings point to futures wherever possible to have the markets live simultaneously across the countries.
