This indicator plots the Central Pivot Range (CPR) along with standard floor-trader pivot levels across four timeframes — daily, weekly, monthly and yearly — on a single chart. It also plots the previous period's high and low for each timeframe, and can optionally project the next period's CPR forward.
**What the Central Pivot Range is**
The CPR is a three-line zone derived from the previous period's high, low and close:
- Pivot (PP) = (High + Low + Close) / 3
- Bottom Central (BC) = (High + Low) / 2
- Top Central (TC) = Pivot − BC + Pivot
The width of the band between TC and BC reflects how balanced the previous period was. A narrow CPR indicates the prior period closed near the middle of a tight range; a wide CPR indicates a broader distribution. Traders commonly use the relationship between successive CPR bands, and price's position relative to them, as context for the session.
**Support and resistance levels**
Standard pivot-derived levels R1–R4 and S1–S4 are calculated for each timeframe using the conventional floor-trader formulas. These are geometric projections from the previous period's range, not predictions.
**Timeframe visibility**
Each set of levels only renders on chart timeframes below its own period, so the chart does not fill with irrelevant lines:
- Daily levels — intraday charts only
- Weekly levels — intraday and daily
- Monthly levels — intraday, daily and weekly
- Yearly levels — intraday through monthly
**Settings**
Every timeframe group has independent toggles for its pivot, its support/resistance set, its CPR band, and its previous-period high and low. Daily, weekly and monthly pivots plus support/resistance are enabled by default; yearly levels and all CPR bands beyond the daily one are off by default to keep the initial chart readable. A single line-width input controls all plots.
**Next CPR projection (off by default)**
The "Show Next CPR" option projects the upcoming period's CPR and pivot levels forward on the chart by a configurable bar offset. Choose the projection period — daily, weekly, monthly or yearly — with the resolution input.
**Important — this section repaints by design.** It reads the current, still-incomplete period's high, low and close in order to compute where the next period's levels would fall. Those values change as the current period develops, so the projected lines move until the period closes. This is inherent to what a forward projection is; it is not a bug, but it does mean these particular lines must not be used for signal generation, backtesting, or alerts. All other levels in the script are calculated from completed prior periods and do not repaint.
**Notes on use**
These are reference levels, not entry signals. The script produces no buy or sell markers and makes no directional claims. How useful any given level is depends entirely on the instrument, the timeframe, and the volatility regime — verify the behaviour on your own instrument before relying on it.

Pivot Matrix + Zones [AFD]Overview
Pivot Matrix + Zones brings up to three independently configured pivot systems into one coordinated overlay. It combines exact pivot ladders, standard Central Pivot Range (CPR), ATR- or tick-scaled reaction zones, formula-aware cross-pack confluence, retained untested levels, a compact context dashboard, and seven bar-close alert conditions.
Each pack can use a different formula and anchor, allowing combinations such as Daily Traditional, Daily Camarilla, and Weekly Fibonacci to be compared without merging their identities.
The script is designed for descriptive market context. It does not produce trade recommendations, forecasts, performance statistics, or automated orders.
What makes it different
The script's original contribution is its identity-aware coordination of the three packs rather than a simple stack of pivot lines. Each pack has its own formula, anchor, tier ceiling, formula-pivot and CPR visibility, labels, R/S color, and line style. One shared lifecycle model freezes reaction width at origin, carries formula and anchor provenance into retained levels and alerts, and keeps dashboard and drawing state aligned.
Confluence requires overlapping reaction zones from at least two distinct enabled packs. Multiple levels or historical origins from only one pack do not create confluence, and duplicate canonical levels do not inflate the displayed pack count. Exact formula-and-anchor duplicates are marked inactive instead of drawing the same configuration twice.
The implementation and lifecycle logic are original. The named pivot methods use standard published calculations identified below; no third-party indicator source code is reused.
Pivot formulas and anchors
The three packs can use Traditional, Floor Pivots, Fibonacci, Woodie, Classic, DM, Camarilla, Frank Dilernia, Shadow Trader, or ACD Method calculations. Traditional, Fibonacci, Woodie, Classic, DM, and Camarilla use the formulas documented for PulseWire Pivot Points Standard. Floor Pivots uses the standard prior-period high, low, and close ladder through R3/S3; those levels match Traditional through the third tier, while Traditional retains its additional R4/R5 extensions.
Available anchors are Auto, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly. Auto uses Daily pivots on chart resolutions through 15 minutes, Weekly pivots above 15 minutes and below one day, and Monthly pivots on daily-or-higher charts.
Each formula stops at its documented native tier. The Through Rn/Sn controls do not create unsupported extension levels. Camarilla calculations use the standard R/S equations and display H/L aliases alongside those names.
Data and session handling
Use daily-based values to request anchor data from the selected symbol context. Exchange default, RTH, and ETH choices are available. For futures, ETH uses the exchange-default electronic context, while RTH uses the named subsession entered in the settings. The default futures RTH name is us_regular, but valid names are symbol-specific.
On intraday charts, turning daily-based values off builds anchor values from the chart feed. This may reflect a visible session more closely, but Quarterly or Yearly anchors can have insufficient intraday history. On daily-or-higher charts, the script continues to use daily-based anchor data.
Most formulas use completed prior-anchor values. Woodie also uses the fixed open of the active anchor. The optional developing next CPR uses the active anchor's changing high, low, and close; it is visually separated and never enters confluence, retained history, or alerts.
CPR and reaction zones
CPR always uses the standard floor-pivot calculation from the completed period's high, low, and close. Its chart labels identify the center as PP, the lower Bottom Central boundary as Lower (BC), and the upper Top Central boundary as Upper (TC). This CPR pivot remains separate from a formula pivot when methods such as Woodie or DM produce a different value.
Reaction zones are symmetric bands around exact pivot prices. Their half-width can use confirmed Daily ATR, completed anchor ATR, or a fixed number of minimum ticks. The width is frozen when an anchor's geometry is created, so an existing zone does not drift as ATR changes inside that anchor. The exact pivot remains the center line; the surrounding fill is a configurable context band.
How to read the chart
Exact center lines are the calculated PP, resistance, support, or CPR levels. Soft surrounding fills show the configured interaction distance; they are not additional pivot levels or predictive outputs.
By default, formula PP lines and matching fills are yellow, Pack A R/S lines and fills are blue, and CPR boundaries and the central range are purple. Active labels identify Formula + Level, while CPR labels distinguish PP, Lower (BC), and Upper (TC). Price text is optional and hidden by default.
Confluence and retained levels
When eligible reaction zones from at least two distinct packs overlap, the script merges the overlap transitively into a confluence band. Each label names the unique contributing formulas and then shows the number of distinct packs represented, such as Traditional + Fibonacci x2. Enable confluence is the master control and is on by default. Turning it off removes confluence zones and labels and suppresses Confluence Touch events while the pivot packs, dashboard, retained-level lifecycle, and other alerts continue. When enabled, confluence color, text color, and projection change the display only, not the overlap or alert identity.
At an anchor rollover, eligible pivot zones that were not touched during their active period can be retained as Untested. A later confirmed wick overlap changes the record to TESTED, freezes and fades its drawing for 20 chart bars, and removes it afterward. Retained drawings are off by default, but lifecycle tracking, dashboard counts, confluence eligibility, and fill alerts continue while the drawings are hidden.
Dashboard
The compact dashboard shows only enabled packs with their selected pivot formula and any non-active status. It then classifies the two-period CPR relationship, reports whether the active-anchor open is above, below, or inside CPR, and shows the nearest retained untested level with the live count across all packs. CPR context follows the first enabled pack in A/B/C order.
Display controls
Active geometry can end at a finite current-bar offset, at the anchor end, or extend right. Confluence has its own finite current-bar, finite label-offset, and extend-right choices. Show confluence only hides non-confluence drawings while confluence is enabled; turning the master control off restores the normal layers. Calculations, the dashboard, lifecycle processing, and all enabled alerts continue.
Formula PP, CPR, labels, displayed prices, label size, line width, reaction shading, tier depth, and retained-level styling can be adjusted independently. Formula PP lines and fills default to yellow, Pack A R/S lines and fills default to blue, and CPR boundaries and the central range default to purple. The Inputs tab follows a numbered workflow and dims controls that do not apply without disabling calculations that still use their state. Prices are hidden by default, and chart labels identify formula and level without A/B/C prefixes; dashboard and alert provenance retain pack identity. Duplicate formula-and-anchor pack configurations are rejected rather than drawn twice.
Suggested setup workflow
Configure Pack A as the primary context, then enable Pack B or C when a second formula, anchor, or both are needed for comparison. Choose the highest native R/S tier, session basis, reaction-width method, and projection for the chart being reviewed. Use the dashboard and labels for identity, Show confluence only to isolate cross-pack overlaps, and retained-level drawings when the untested lifecycle should remain visible.
Create alerts only after the symbol, timeframe, sessions, pack settings, and reaction-width inputs are finalized, because those chart settings define the levels and events being monitored.
Alerts
Seven fixed conditions are available: Active Level Touch, Cross Up, Cross Down, CPR Enter, CPR Exit, Untested Level Filled, and Confluence Touch. Events confirm at chart-bar close. Optional dynamic messages aggregate supported events from the same confirmed bar and include available pack, formula, anchor, level, origin, and price context. PulseWire running alerts retain the script inputs saved when they were created, so delete and recreate an alert after changing Enable confluence or another input.
Limitations
Pivot values and rollover timing depend on the selected symbol, data feed, anchor, session context, and available history. Daily and intraday feeds can differ because of extended hours, futures settlements, and feed construction. An invalid futures subsession name can fall back to the exchange default, so confirm the requested name in Inputs and compare the resulting pivots with the intended session.
Reaction zones and confluence visualize proximity; they do not predict a response. Untested means the configured zone was not touched during its tracked active period; it does not imply that price must revisit or react to it.
Use a standard time-based chart when evaluating touches, crosses, and alerts because those events use the chart's OHLC bars. Alerts still depend on PulseWire alert creation, chart settings, feed updates, and bar-close processing.
The script keeps bounded histories of up to 30 live untested levels and 20 fading tested markers, with older retained records removed as those limits are reached. Confluence display is capped at 20 zones.

Options Decision Dashboard CPR, Expected Move & Day TypeOverview
An index option buyer loses to theta unless the day actually moves. So the first question isn't "which way?" — it's "will this session trend at all, and is implied volatility cheap enough to pay for the ride?"
This dashboard answers that in one panel, before the session gets going:
DAY TYPE — from the Central Pivot Range. Narrow CPR historically precedes trending days; wide CPR precedes rangebound ones.
DIRECTION — from where price sits against the CPR, plus the two-day pivot-range relationship.
THE PRICE OF THE BET — from the volatility index: the expected move it's charging you for.
TIME — days to expiry, and the theta context.
It then states a plain-language verdict — BUY CE / BUY PE / SELL PREMIUM / STAY OUT — with the CPR and floor-pivot levels drawn on price, targets and invalidation marked.
What makes it different
Every CPR script asserts that a narrow CPR means a trending day. None of them check.
This one forward-tests its own core claim. Each session's CPR type is logged at the open, and at the close the day is scored as trending or not (by directional efficiency: how much of the day's range price actually closed away from its open). The panel then reports the trend-day hit rate for narrow-CPR sessions against the unconditional base rate, with a Wilson 95% lower bound.
If narrow CPR carries no edge on your instrument, the dashboard says so — and you should discount its day-type logic accordingly. It is built to be able to tell you it doesn't work.
Why the four layers are ONE tool
An option-buying decision needs all four at once:
Day type without volatility pricing tells you to buy an option that may be too expensive.
Volatility pricing without day type tells you it's cheap without telling you whether it will move.
Either without the levels gives you no entry, target or invalidation.
All three without the calibration is just another confident indicator.
Remove one and the decision isn't decidable.
How it works
CPR — Pivot = (H+L+C)/3 · BC = (H+L)/2 · TC = 2·Pivot − BC, from the prior session. Width is normalised as a % of the pivot and rank-scored against its own recent history, so "narrow" means narrow for this instrument — not a hard-coded point value. (10 points is narrow on NIFTY and wide on a mid-cap.)
Two-day relationship — higher / lower / overlapping / inside / outside value: the classic Pivot-Boss classifications, used as the directional prior.
Expected move — EM = Spot × (IV/100) × √t, shown for the day and to expiry, and drawn as a band. If the session stays inside that band, an option buyer typically loses to theta — which is exactly the trap this tool exists to flag.
Verdict — combines day type, direction, IV percentile and days-to-expiry into one call. Expensive IV can veto a buy; expiry-day theta can veto it too.
How to use it
Read it top-down at the open. Day type tells you whether to buy options at all. Direction tells you which side. Expected move tells you whether the premium is worth it. The verdict is the summary; the levels are your entry, target and invalidation.
Then — before you trust any of it — read the calibration row. If narrow CPR has no proven edge on this symbol, the day-type logic isn't carrying its weight here.
This is decision support. It does not place trades and it is not advice.
Data & scope
Built for NSE:NIFTY / BANKNIFTY index futures on intraday timeframes (5m or 15m is the CPR norm). Needs a volatility index for the expected-move layer (NSE:INDIAVIX by default); without one, that layer switches off cleanly and the rest still works.
Strike step, expiry weekday and volatility symbol are all inputs — so it runs on any index-options market. Set the expiry weekday to match your contract: the exchange has changed the index expiry day before, and this script does not assume, it asks.
On a daily+ chart the panel tells you to switch to intraday rather than showing a confident verdict built on a meaningless CPR.
Non-repainting
Prior-session values are requested as on the daily series, so they're settled before the session opens and never move. The calibration harness logs at the session open and resolves at the session close, on confirmed bars only — a session is graded on the first bar of the next session, from completed data. Intraday readings (price vs level, day-so-far range) update as the session forms; that's a live read, not a repaint.

Honest limits
The CPR day-type claim is folklore until measured — which is exactly why this script measures it. Calibration figures are in-sample, with no costs, and a proven in-sample edge is not a guarantee out-of-sample. The expected move is a one-standard-deviation estimate under a lognormal assumption; real index returns have fat tails and gaps. The verdict describes conditions — it is not a recommendation — and it says nothing about strike selection, position sizing or risk.

What is CPR (Central Pivot Range)?
The Central Pivot Range (CPR) is calculated from the previous period’s High (H), Low (L), and Close (C). It forms three levels:
• Pivot (P) = (H + L + C) / 3
• Top Central (TC) = ( P - BC) + P
• Bottom Central (BC) = ( H + L)/2
Together, these levels form a central zone representing the market’s “value area.” Price trading above the CPR typically indicates bullish sentiment, while trading below the CPR reflects bearish bias. A narrow CPR often precedes strong trending moves, whereas a wider CPR signals potential consolidation.
How Pivot Levels are Calculated
Beyond CPR, the indicator supports multiple pivot calculation models, including Traditional, Classic, Fibonacci, and Camarilla

CPR (Central Pivot Range)Central Pivot Range is a trend and volatility forecasting tool. It is calculated from previous session's (day, week, or month) high, low, close values. It works on the idea that every trading session must be the result of its previous trading session.
Pivot, top pivot and bottom pivot values form the CPR. If the CPR for each trading session is getting higher (and also the price is trading above it) then it denotes bullish bias and vice versa for bearish. And the width of the CPR (i.e., distance between top and bottom pivot) denotes the volatility of the session.
If the CPR width is narrow, we can expect a trending or volatile trading session. If it's wide, then we can expect a range bound or sideways trading session.
Support and Resistance levels can be used as a profit booking zone or to add/reduce position sizing.

Future Pivots CPR - All Timeframes
Simple idea that allows you to display tomorrow CPR/ Standard Floor Trader Pivots based on the high, low and close of today session. Likewise, it works for higher timeframes taking into account the high, low, close of the period (e.g. weekly, monthly, year).
Just be aware that -regardless of the timeframe- if the period is still in development, the indicator will constantly/ live update the values until the period is closed!! This indicator is meant to be used when preparing for the next trading period. If you want to use it live, I'd suggest using the function of this indicator which allows to display only current/closed pivots-
Similar to other script I published, this indicator lower timeframes (Daily and Weekly) will work with lower timeframe bars, this is the Minutes and Hour bars. Conversely, higher timeframe CPR/Pivots will work better with timeframes/charts from Daily and above.

All-in-one CPR indicator Introduction and Acknowledgement:
The script is basically a mashup script and provides a combined functionality of various indicators. I'll explain the usefulness and the optimal usage of the script after giving the credits where it is due. A CPR indicator for visually identifying the trend along with the strength of the trend is NOT available in the public library of PulseWire. Hence, the need of this indicator.
The credit of creating the original indicators remain unknown to me but I would like to acknowledge the authors whose formulae and codes I have used for creating this mashup indicator.

The prime focus of the script is identifying and simplifying the 2 main aspects of a trend:
1. Direction / Underlying trend
2. Strength of the trend
Flaws in traditional CPR:
Some may see this as a flaw, some may not. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. In general, the traditional CPR indicator is used to plot just support and resistance levels, and the trend identification is purely discretionary. In addition to this, there is no way to assess the strength of the move without using a dedicated volumed based indicator. This causes amateur traders to take counter trades to the market direction.
What is the need of this hybrid indicator?
A CPR indicator that also aids in visually identifying the trend and the strength of the trend with respect to the price action in NOT available in the public library of PulseWire. The traditional CPR can be used to assess the rough direction of the market but if it combined with the Hull ribbon, the probability of identifying the trend increases manifold. Hence, I decided to create this mashup indicator.
In addition to the basic CPR pivots, the script provides the functionality of the following indicators:
1. HMA based trend ribbons with auto buy/sell signals
2. Volatility based bands - Bollinger bands, Keltner channel, Donchian channel, envelope.
3. Coloured volume candles to determine the strength of the trend
4. CPR with daily, weekly, and monthly levels
5. Previous day high/low
6. Tomorrow CPR
7. 3 Simple moving averages
8. Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)
Correct usage of the indicator:
The optimal usage of the indicators consists of mainly 2 parts:
1. Identification of the trend using the combination of CPR and Hull ribbon
2. Determining the strength of the trend
How to identify the trend?
In general, when the price is above CPR it is considered a bullish trend. Also, when the price is above the Hull ribbon, it is considered bullish. Reverse is true for a bearish trend. Combining the traditional CPR logic with the Hull trend ribbon, we can conclude that:
1. Bullish trend = Price above CPR and above the Hull ribbon
2. Bearish trend = Price below CPR and below the Hull ribbon
If the Hull ribbon is showing a zig-zag move, the trend will be sideways. Also, the time frame of the Hull ribbon can be defined as per the need of the user.

How to determine the strength of the trend?
1. Strong trend = The dark coloured candles represent volume more than 150% of the look back period. For instance
2. Moderate trend = The bright coloured candles represent volume between 50-150%.
3. Neutral trend = The Grey coloured candles represent a weak trend where the volume is less than 50%.
