Adaptive VWAP Engine
The heart of this indicator is its Adaptive VWAP Engine.
Instead of relying on only one fixed VWAP calculation, the user may choose different operating modes including:

Overview
This strategy is designed specifically for the 2-minute chart and is intended for short-term trading on Nasdaq and Gold.
The system combines:
• Confirmed Swing High and Swing Low levels
• Break of Structure confirmation
• The first Fair Value Gap formed after the breakout
• A 50% Fair Value Gap retracement entry
• EMA 200 trend confirmation
• Previous Day, Previous Week and Asian Session liquidity filters
• Fixed Take Profit and Stop Loss levels
• Entry alerts generated only after the position is actually filled
The strategy does not open a position immediately after a structure breakout. It waits for the first valid Fair Value Gap and places a limit order at the midpoint of that imbalance.
TIMEFRAME
The strategy is designed exclusively for the 2-minute timeframe.
If the script is added to a different timeframe, it will generate an error and will not operate.
SUPPORTED MARKETS
The strategy contains two predefined market configurations:
NASDAQ
• Take Profit: 50 points
• Stop Loss: 50 points
GOLD
• Take Profit: 10 points
• Stop Loss: 10 points
The strategy uses a fixed 1:1 reward-to-risk ratio.
MARKET STRUCTURE
The strategy detects confirmed Swing High and Swing Low levels using pivot calculations.
Default pivot settings:
• Two candles on the left side
• Two candles on the right side
A Swing High or Swing Low becomes valid only after the required number of candles on the right side has closed.
LONG BREAK OF STRUCTURE
A bullish Break of Structure occurs when:
1. A confirmed Swing High exists.
2. The current candle closes above the Swing High.
3. The previous candle closed at or below that Swing High.
4. The strategy is not already in a trade.
5. There is no active pending order.
6. Long positions are enabled.
7. The price is above the EMA 200.
SHORT BREAK OF STRUCTURE
A bearish Break of Structure occurs when:
1. A confirmed Swing Low exists.
2. The current candle closes below the Swing Low.
3. The previous candle closed at or above that Swing Low.
4. The strategy is not already in a trade.
5. There is no active pending order.
6. Short positions are enabled.
7. The price is below the EMA 200.
FAIR VALUE GAP
After a valid Break of Structure, the strategy searches for the first Fair Value Gap.
By default, the Fair Value Gap must appear within three candles after the breakout. This value can be changed in the strategy settings.
Bullish Fair Value Gap:
A bullish Fair Value Gap is detected when the current candle’s low is above the high from two candles earlier.
Bullish FVG condition:
Current Low > High two candles earlier
Bearish Fair Value Gap:
A bearish Fair Value Gap is detected when the current candle’s high is below the low from two candles earlier.
Bearish FVG condition:
Current High < Low two candles earlier
ENTRY PRICE
The entry is placed at the 50% midpoint of the first valid Fair Value Gap.
Bullish entry:
Entry = Bullish FVG midpoint
Bearish entry:
Entry = Bearish FVG midpoint
The strategy uses a limit order. Therefore, the position is opened only when the market retraces back to the calculated entry price.
EMA 200 TREND FILTER
The EMA 200 is used as the main trend filter.
Long positions are allowed only when:
• The breakout candle closes above the EMA 200.
• The Fair Value Gap is formed while the price remains above the EMA 200.
• The planned limit entry is above the EMA 200.
• The market does not lose the EMA 200 while the limit order is pending.
Short positions are allowed only when:
• The breakout candle closes below the EMA 200.
• The Fair Value Gap is formed while the price remains below the EMA 200.
• The planned limit entry is below the EMA 200.
• The market does not move back above the EMA 200 while the limit order is pending.
The purpose of this filter is to prevent positions from being opened against the dominant 2-minute trend.
LIQUIDITY FILTER
Before placing a limit order, the strategy checks whether an important liquidity level is located between the planned entry and the Take Profit.
The following levels are monitored:
• Previous Day High
• Previous Day Low
• Previous Week High
• Previous Week Low
• Asian Session High
• Asian Session Low
A long setup is rejected when one of the following levels is located between the entry and Take Profit:
• Previous Day High
• Previous Week High
• Asian Session High
A short setup is rejected when one of the following levels is located between the entry and Take Profit:
• Previous Day Low
• Previous Week Low
• Asian Session Low
The purpose of this filter is to avoid entering directly into a nearby liquidity level that could stop or reverse the price before the target is reached.
PENDING ORDER CANCELLATION
A pending limit order can be cancelled when:
• The order has not been filled within the selected number of candles.
• The EMA 200 trend condition is no longer valid.
• A new liquidity level blocks the path to the target.
• The price reaches the theoretical Take Profit before retracing to the entry.
• The planned entry moves to the wrong side of the EMA 200.
The default pending order lifetime is 30 candles.
POSITION MANAGEMENT
The strategy allows only one active position at a time.
Pyramiding is disabled.
After the entry is filled, the strategy automatically places:
• A fixed Take Profit order
• A fixed Stop Loss order
The Take Profit and Stop Loss are calculated from the actual average position entry price.
ENTRY ALERTS
Alerts are generated only after the position is actually opened.
The strategy does not send an entry alert when:

SIL Momentum & Participation EngineThe **SIL Momentum & Participation Engine** is an oscillator designed to answer three questions:
1. Is there directional force?
2. Is volume participating in the move?
3. Is the price movement efficient?
It does not generate entries, BUY/SELL signals, stop-losses, or targets.
### MOM — Momentum
The thick main line combines three speeds of the Elder Force Index:
- Fast EFI reacts quickly.
- Medium EFI stabilizes the reading.
- Slow EFI measures persistent force.
Interpretation:
- Above the neutral zone: bullish force.
- Below the neutral zone: bearish force.
- Inside the neutral zone: insufficient or undefined force.
- Rising: positive acceleration.
- Falling: negative acceleration.
Its color also reflects movement efficiency:
- Bright green/red: efficient directional movement.
- Faded green/red: direction exists, but efficiency is weak.
- Grey: neutral momentum.
### PART — Participation
The thinner line is derived from a transformed Accumulation/Distribution calculation.
It indicates whether volume participation supports the movement:
- Positive: bullish participation.
- Negative: bearish participation.
- Near zero: weak or balanced participation.
With confirmation coloring enabled:
- Cyan: participation confirms bullish momentum.
- Orange: participation confirms bearish momentum.
- Grey: Momentum and Participation disagree or are in transition.
### M-AVG — Momentum Average
The thin white line is a short moving average of Momentum.
It does not determine direction. It helps reveal acceleration and deceleration:
- MOM moving away from M-AVG: force is accelerating.
- MOM approaching M-AVG: force is weakening.
- MOM crossing M-AVG: relative velocity has changed, not necessarily the trend.
### KER — Efficiency
The Kaufman Efficiency Ratio measures how directly price is moving.
- High KER: clean and efficient movement.
- Medium KER: usable movement with some noise.
- Low KER: substantial internal movement with little net progress.
KER does not define direction. By default, it changes the color or transparency of the MOM line. Its separate diagnostic line is optional.
### `+σ` and `−σ` Bands
These are statistical bands calculated around Momentum:
- MOM inside the bands: normal recent behavior.
- MOM approaching a band: relatively strong momentum.
- MOM crossing a band: unusual expansion.
- Narrow bands: compression.
- Wide bands: increased momentum variability.
Crossing a band is not automatically a reversal signal. It may indicate strong continuation.
### Energy Field
The green or red shaded area between Momentum and its statistical average represents directional acceleration:
- Stronger shading: Momentum is gaining energy.
- Fading shading: Momentum is decelerating.
- Green: bullish energy.
- Red: bearish energy.

AUTOMATIC DAILY AND WEEKLY PROFILES
This indicator is built specifically for 1D and 1W charts . It detects the chart timeframe and switches profiles automatically.
On a 1D chart , it displays the important weekly and monthly levels, the daily moving averages, and the Daily Trend + Level Map.
When the chart is changed to 1W , the daily profile is removed and the indicator automatically switches to the yearly-open profile. No manual setting changes are required when moving between daily and weekly charts.
On other timeframes, a small notice appears instead of displaying the wrong profile.
DAILY CHART PROFILE
The daily chart includes Previous Month High and Low , Current Month High and Low , and Previous Week High and Low . It also plots the 20 EMA in white, 50 SMA in red, and 200 SMA in blue.
Previous week and previous month levels are confirmed after those periods close. Current month levels continue developing as the month trades.
The compact dashboard adds practical context without taking over the chart. It shows:
Trend , based on price location and the exact order of the 20 EMA, 50 SMA, and 200 SMA.
Momentum / Stretch , including the direction of the 20 EMA and 50 SMA and price's distance from the 20 EMA in ATR units.
ATR / Stop Distance , showing the current daily ATR plus 2x and 3x ATR reference distances. These are volatility measurements, not automatic stop recommendations.
Previous Week and Previous Month , showing whether price is above, below, or inside each completed range.
Nearest Above, Nearest Below, and Nearest Confluence , identifying the closest enabled levels and measuring their distance in daily ATR.
WEEKLY CHART PROFILE
On a weekly chart, the indicator automatically displays the current yearly open and the previous four yearly opens .
By default, all yearly opens extend into the current chart area and include the calendar year and exact price. An optional Year Segments mode is available for traders who prefer each open to remain within its original calendar year.
PURPOSE
The daily profile provides a clear view of trend structure, volatility, nearby support and resistance, and level confluence. The weekly profile provides a simple long-term map of yearly opening prices.

Gold Dual-Model Fair Value [Regime Adaptive]█ OVERVIEW
Gold Dual-Model Fair Value is a chart overlay that plots two competing fair value estimates for gold, one regressed on the 10 year real yield and one regressed on a global M2 money supply composite, then combines them into a single fair value line by continuously measuring which model currently fits better. The thesis: gold's dominant macro driver is not constant, so a useful fair value model must detect the driver in force rather than assume it.
█ HISTORY / BACKGROUND
The inverse relationship between gold and real interest rates is one of the most widely documented regularities in the asset's modern history and is treated in academic work such as Erb and Harvey's "The Golden Dilemma" (2013). That relationship visibly weakened after 2022, when gold rose while real yields climbed to multi year highs, a divergence commonly attributed to price insensitive official sector buying. Macro strategists, notably Jurrien Timmer, have illustrated this as a regime change in which a real yield model stops explaining gold and a global liquidity model takes over.
The weakness of that illustration is that the regime break is declared after the fact, by inspection. This script's contribution is to make the regime decision endogenous: both models are estimated continuously, and the model in force is chosen by trailing out of sample fit, with no hardcoded break date. The regime change around 2022, if present in the data, emerges from the computation rather than being asserted.
█ HOW IT WORKS
All computation runs on the chart timeframe. The script requests the following series with request.security at the chart resolution, with no lookahead: FRED:DFII10 (10 year TIPS real yield), five M2 series (ECONOMICS:USM2, CNM2, EUM2, JPM2, GBM2) and four conversion rates (FX_IDC:CNYUSD, EURUSD, JPYUSD, GBPUSD).
Step 1. Global M2 composite. Each enabled non US component is converted to US dollars and the enabled components are summed. Two aggregation modes exist. Spot FX converts at the current exchange rate, replicating the standard global liquidity composite. Constant FX converts every bar at the rate captured on the first bar at or after a user defined anchor date, which freezes the currency translation effect and isolates changes in underlying money stocks. The composite is na until every enabled component has data, so its membership never changes mid history and no artificial level jumps are introduced.
Step 2. Two rolling regressions. Over a rolling fit window the script estimates ordinary least squares coefficients from running moments (beta equals covariance over variance, alpha equals mean of y minus beta times mean of x):
• Model A regresses the natural log of the chart close on the level of the 10 year real yield.
• Model B regresses the natural log of the chart close on the natural log of the M2 composite.
Each model produces a log fair value each bar from its current alpha, beta and regressor value.
Step 3. Fit measurement. Each model's residual (log price minus log fair value) is squared and averaged over a shorter trailing evaluation window; the square root is that model's rolling RMSE.
Step 4. Regime and combination. Two output modes:
• Blend (default): the combined log fair value is a weighted average of the two model fair values with weights proportional to inverse RMSE, so the better fitting model dominates smoothly.
• Hard switch: the combined fair value is the fair value of the incumbent model, and the incumbent only changes when the challenger's RMSE beats it by a user set hysteresis margin, which prevents rapid flip flopping when the models fit similarly.
Independently of the mode, the hard switch state machine always runs and its current state is reported in the table and as the background tint, so blend users can still see the discrete regime call.
Step 5. Deviation statistics. The deviation is log price minus combined log fair value. Its rolling standard deviation over the evaluation window defines a z score, and bands are drawn at the fair value times e to the plus and minus (band multiple times sigma). The z score's percent rank over a user defined lookback gives a deviation percentile.
If one model's inputs are unavailable (for example the M2 composite before all enabled components exist), the combined fair value falls back to the available model alone.
█ HOW TO USE
Apply the indicator to a gold chart (spot, futures or a fund proxy) on the weekly timeframe. Weekly is the design resolution for a structural reason: the M2 inputs are monthly series, so on lower resolutions the liquidity regressor is a long staircase while the real yield updates daily, which biases the fit comparison toward the real yield model for reasons unrelated to explanatory power. The default windows (156 and 52 bars) are calibrated as roughly three years and one year of weekly bars. An on chart warning label appears on intraday charts.
Visual elements:
• Orange line: the combined fair value, the primary output.
• Blue thin line: Model A fair value (real yields). Red thin line: Model B fair value (global liquidity). Comparing their paths shows where each model succeeded or failed.
• Gray bands and fill: the plus and minus sigma envelope around the combined fair value. Price above the upper band is statistically rich against the currently fitting model mix, below the lower band statistically cheap, between the bands unremarkable.
• Background tint: blue when the hard switch regime is the real yield model, red when it is the liquidity model.
• Status table: hard switch regime, active mode, each model's RMSE, the real yield model's blend weight, the deviation z score (colored when beyond the band multiple), its percentile, and the M2 aggregation mode.
Interpretation cautions. The fair value is a rolling fit, so a deviation can close either by price moving toward the line or by the line re estimating toward price; a band touch is a valuation observation, not a mechanical entry signal. The regime readout tells you which catalyst matters: in the liquidity regime, a cheap reading resolves with money supply reacceleration rather than falling yields. Comparing Spot FX and Constant FX modes shows how much of the liquidity signal is currency translation rather than money creation; if a stretched reading shrinks materially under Constant FX, part of it was the US dollar itself.

Published global M2 composites plot the liquidity series itself, usually with a fixed time offset against an asset, and published regime indicators classify price behavior such as trending versus ranging. This script occupies a different intersection and does three things no script in either group does:
• It converts both macro drivers into explicit fair value estimates via rolling least squares regression rather than displaying the raw series, so the drivers and the asset live on the same axis and disagreement between them is measurable in price terms.
• It selects or weights the two models by trailing out of sample RMSE, so the widely discussed post 2022 handoff from real yields to liquidity is detected by the data instead of hardcoded, and any future handoff back requires no code change.
• Its liquidity composite offers a Constant FX aggregation mode alongside the standard Spot FX mode. Spot converted composites embed the US dollar's own fluctuations, which are correlated with gold, into the liquidity measure. The Constant FX mode removes that translation effect, giving users a built in test of how much of the liquidity signal is monetary and how much is currency denomination. To this author's knowledge no published composite exposes this distinction.
█ NOTES / LIMITATIONS
• The M2 inputs are monthly economic series requested at the chart resolution. They hold their value between releases, so the liquidity fair value moves in steps between prints, and releases arrive with publication lag.
• Economic series are subject to vendor revisions. A revised M2 or real yield history changes the regression inputs, so the historical fair value shown today can differ from what the script displayed in real time. This is a property of the data, not lookahead: the script uses no lookahead and requests no timeframe above the chart's.
• Model B is na until every enabled M2 component and its conversion rate have history, and each regression additionally needs the full fit window plus evaluation window of bars before its output and RMSE are defined. On deep weekly gold history the real yield model also cannot begin before the real yield series itself starts in 2003. Expect a substantial warm up period at the left edge of the chart, during which the script falls back to whichever single model is available, or plots nothing.
• The logic is designed for the weekly timeframe. On daily and lower resolutions the mixed update frequencies of the regressors distort the fit comparison, the default windows lose their intended calendar meaning, and an on chart label warns on intraday charts.
• The script uses the chart symbol's close as the dependent variable. Its economic reasoning applies to gold denominated symbols; applied to unrelated symbols it will still compute, but the output has no stated meaning.
