Weekend High/Low MagnetWeekend High/Low Magnet identifies qualifying weekend extremes on standard time-based charts for 24/7 markets. HOW LEVELS QUALIFY A weekend high is shown only when it is also the highest high recorded since Tuesday 00:00 UTC, including Tuesday. A weekend low is shown only when it is also the lowest low recorded since Tuesday 00:00 UTC. Highs and lows qualify independently. Equal ties qualify, with the first weekend occurrence retaining ownership of the level. WEEKEND WINDOW The weekend window begins Saturday 00:00 UTC and ends immediately before the FX market opens at Sunday 17:00 America/New_York. This boundary automatically adjusts for US daylight-saving time: • 21:00 UTC during daylight-saving time • 22:00 UTC during standard time The FX-open candle is excluded from the weekend calculation, but it can immediately sweep a newly confirmed level. LIVE AND CONFIRMED LEVELS Qualifying levels appear during the weekend as “WH live” and “WL live”. Live levels are provisional and move only when a new strict weekend extreme forms. At the FX open, valid levels are confirmed as “WH” or “WL”. Confirmed levels extend to the right until price first touches or breaches them, then stop on the candle that took the level. DISPLAY • Purple one-pixel dotted lines • Exact candle anchoring • Up to 249 completed weekends retained • No user settings—the calculation and styling are standardized TIMEFRAMES The indicator supports standard time-based charts, including intraday, 6-hour and daily charts. Charts above one hour use ordered internal one-hour data while anchoring each level to the corresponding visible chart candle. IMPORTANT Live weekend levels intentionally repaint until the FX open. Missing historical or intrabar data causes the affected week to be skipped rather than estimated. The word “Magnet” describes a level traders may monitor. It does not guarantee that price will return to or react from the level. This indicator is intended for visual market-structure analysis. It does not place trades or provide financial advice.

This is incorrect. Stock Market: Opens Monday morning. CME Bitcoin: Opens Sunday Evening (US Time). If you are in Europe, this means the market actually opens at Midnight (00:00) Monday. If you are waiting for the "Monday Morning Open," you are late. The Solution: True Gap Detection This indicator highlights the exact downtime of the CME Bitcoin Futures market to help you identify true liquidity gaps. Why this script is different: Most gap scripts break when you change your chart's time zone (e.g., switching from UTC to New York). This script is Universal. Hardcoded Exchange Time: It calculates logic based on "America/Chicago" (CME HQ) time, regardless of your local chart settings. Manual Offset Fix: Some data feeds have a +/- 1 or 2-hour sync difference depending on the broker. This script includes a "Hour Shift" setting to manually align the box perfectly to your specific candles. How to use: Add to your chart. Look for the Dark Green highlighted zone. Weekend Analysis There are always discussions about how the weekend affects Crypto-Coins. It seems that on Monday, the price usually returns to Friday's level. To make a qualified statement, I wrote this script that tests exactly that and provides an evaluation. It displays a candle for Saturday and Sunday. Either green or red, but also blue if there was hardly any movement. This threshold is set at 2%, but can be changed in the settings. If the relative distance from Saturday's open to Friday's close is less than this value, it counts as the same. The timeframe should be between day and hour so that Tradingview goes back far enough in the past. The output (here for BTC) Total: 477 Lower: 20% Equal: 55% Higher: 25% is displayed in the chart, but also output via the log function.

Bitcoin - CME Futures Friday Close This indicator displays the weekly Friday closing price according to the CME trading hours (Friday 4pm CT). A horizontal line is displayed until the CME opens again on Sunday 5pm CT. This indicator is based on the thesis, that during the weekend the Bitcoin price tends to mean reverse to the CME closing price of the prior Friday. The level can also act as support/resistance. This indicator gives a visualization of this key level for the relevant time window. Furthermore the indicator helps to easily identify, if there is an up or down gap in the CME Bitcoin contract.
