Brent Crude Oil Forward CurveBrent Crude Oil Forward Curve
The Brent Crude Oil Forward Curve is a market-structure visualization tool designed to display the relationship between consecutive Brent crude oil futures contracts across a 12-month horizon.
The indicator builds a forward curve from twelve consecutive Brent futures contracts and presents their prices both graphically and in a structured data table. This allows users to observe the shape, slope and evolution of the Brent term structure directly alongside the underlying market.
CURVE STRUCTURE
The indicator automatically identifies the prevailing structure of the displayed curve:
BACKWARDATION — when deferred futures contracts trade below the front contract.
CONTANGO — when deferred futures contracts trade above the front contract.
The curve is displayed dynamically, allowing changes in the term structure to be identified visually rather than by examining individual futures contracts separately.
12-CONTRACT FORWARD CURVE
Twelve consecutive Brent futures contracts are displayed. Each point on the curve includes the contract month, price and spread relative to the front contract.
The accompanying table provides:
• Contract symbol
• Contract month
• Futures price
• Spread versus the front contract
The summary row shows the current curve structure, the front-to-last contract range and the total spread across the displayed 12-month curve.
AUTO ROLL
The indicator includes a calendar-based auto-roll mechanism that automatically advances the displayed 12-contract sequence as the calendar progresses. By default, the sequence begins two calendar months ahead of the current month. The contract sequence is generated dynamically, eliminating the need to manually replace each futures symbol every month. A Manual Front Month Offset is also available for users who wish to inspect an adjacent contract sequence or manually shift the starting point of the curve.
PRICE TIMEFRAME
By default, contract prices follow the chart timeframe. Users may select a different Price Timeframe when they want the forward curve calculations to reference another timeframe independently of the underlying chart.
DISPLAY CONTROLS
The Inputs menu provides independent controls for displaying or hiding the data table, individual contract labels and branding panel. Point spacing, horizontal positioning and label distance can also be adjusted to accommodate different screen sizes and chart layouts.
DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY
This script combines automated Brent contract sequencing, calendar-based contract management, 12-contract term-structure construction, spread calculations relative to the front contract, dynamic curve visualization and synchronized tabular presentation within a single analytical framework.
Rather than analyzing individual futures contracts separately, the script transforms the prices of twelve consecutive Brent futures contracts into a synchronized representation of the term structure. The graphical curve, contract labels, spreads, market-structure classification and contract table are updated together as the futures sequence evolves. The implementation and presentation logic were developed specifically for this script.
INTERPRETATION
The indicator is intended to help users study the term structure of Brent crude oil futures. Changes in the shape and slope of the forward curve can provide useful information about how the futures market is pricing near-term versus deferred delivery.
Forward-curve structure should not be interpreted in isolation as a directional trading signal. It is one component of broader crude-oil market analysis and should be evaluated together with price action, fundamentals, positioning, inventories and other relevant market information. Indicator

Seasonality: Energy [invincible3]Seasonality: Energy Commodities
This indicator displays compact seasonal mini-charts for major energy markets directly on the price chart. It is designed to provide a quick visual reference for historical seasonal tendencies without disturbing the main candle scaling or chart zoom.
The dashboard includes four energy seasonality panels:
Gasoline | from 1985 to 2020
Crude Oil | from 1984 to 2020
Heating Oil | from 1980 to 2020
Natural Gas | from 1991 to 2020
Each panel contains two seasonal curves:
Blue Line — All Years Average
Shows the average historical seasonal path using all available years from the start year through 2020.
Yellow Line — Weighted Average
Shows a weighted seasonal curve that gives more importance to recent historical behavior while still preserving the broader long-term seasonal structure.
The indicator uses a fixed 365-day seasonal structure, allowing traders to observe how each energy market has historically behaved throughout the calendar year. The mini-charts are drawn as independent widgets using price-space positioning, so they do not interfere with the main price chart, candle scaling, or zoom behavior.
Key Features
Four energy commodity seasonality panels
Historical data from each market’s start year to 2020
All Years and Weighted Average seasonal curves
Compact dashboard-style layout
Auto dark/light theme support
Adjustable widget width, spacing, height, and position
Designed to avoid chart-scaling distortion
Useful for seasonal bias, timing context, and macro/commodity market analysis
How to Use
Use the blue and yellow curves as a seasonal reference, not as standalone buy or sell signals. When both curves point in the same direction during a specific part of the year, that period may represent a historically stronger seasonal tendency. The signal is more useful when combined with trend, support/resistance, volume, fundamentals, and broader market context.
Important Note
This indicator is based on historical seasonal data only. Seasonality does not guarantee future price movement. Market structure, supply-demand conditions, geopolitical events, interest rates, weather, and macroeconomic factors can override historical seasonal tendencies. Indicator

Aquila Reale Correlations v1.1🦅 AQUILA REALE CORRELATIONS v1.1
Inter-market correlation dashboard for any two assets, with multi-timeframe analysis, spread monitoring, and regime detection.
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
📊 WHAT THIS INDICATOR DOES
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
Calculates the Pearson correlation coefficient between two user-defined assets across 4 timeframes simultaneously (15M, 1H, 4H, Daily) and presents the result in a single-glance dashboard.
Default configuration: XAUUSD vs WTI (FP Markets), but fully configurable for any pair — Gold/DXY, BTC/SPX, EUR/USD vs DXY, equities vs bonds, etc.
The dashboard provides:
- Multi-timeframe correlation matrix with regime classification (STRONG DIRECT / WEAK DIRECT / NEUTRAL / WEAK INVERSE / STRONG INVERSE) on 15M, 1H, 4H, and Daily
- Aggregate count to identify if the correlation regime is consistent across timeframes or in transition
- Spread analysis (ratio Asset1 / Asset2) with deviation from medium-term (EMA50) and long-term (EMA200) averages, plus configurable historical thresholds
- Regime verdict: DIRECT / INVERSE / NEUTRAL / AMBIGUOUS, declared only when ≥3 of 4 timeframes are aligned
- Pre-configured alerts for regime shifts, spread extremes, and 4H correlation crossings
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
🎯 USE CASES
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
1. Detect regime shifts: Know when historically uncorrelated assets are temporarily moving in lockstep, or vice versa.
2. Validate macro thesis: Confirm your inter-market reading with a numeric measure across multiple timeframes.
3. Identify spread extremes: Spot when asset relationships are stretched (e.g. Gold/Oil ratio above 40 historically signals macroeconomic stress).
4. Filter trade signals: Use the regime verdict as a context filter for other strategies and indicators.
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
⚙️ SETTINGS
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
- Symbols: Asset 1 and Asset 2 (any PulseWire symbol)
- Correlation period: Default 50 candles (lower = reactive but noisy; higher = stable but lagging)
- Strong/Neutral thresholds: Configurable correlation cutoffs (defaults 0.5 / 0.2)
- Spread EMAs: Fast and slow EMAs applied to the asset ratio
- Historical spread thresholds: Customizable per asset pair
- Layout: 3 sections individually toggleable, 9 position options on the chart
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
📌 IMPORTANT NOTES ON INTERPRETATION
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════
- Correlation is a STATISTICAL measure, not a directional trading signal. A strong inverse correlation does not mean "go long one and short the other" — it means the two assets are moving in opposite directions over the lookback window.
- Strong correlations across multiple timeframes suggest a stable regime; mixed readings across timeframes indicate transition or noise.
- For Gold/WTI specifically: the historical baseline correlation is weakly DIRECT (approximately +0.3 to +0.5). Strong INVERSE readings typically reflect temporary supply-side shocks affecting only one asset (e.g. geopolitical events impacting oil supply) and tend to revert over time.
- Correlation is a LAGGING indicator. A change in market regime is reflected in the rolling coefficient only after several candles. Use it for context, not for timing entries.
- The "AMBIGUOUS" verdict is informative: it tells you the correlation structure is not stable, and inter-market signals should be treated with extra caution.
