Strong Squeeze Signals | ProjectSyndicateStrong Squeeze Signals catches the moment a genuine volatility coil releases — and instead of treating every flat patch as a setup, it waits for a real squeeze to fire, tags the direction from momentum, and ranks the release 0–10 with a star score. A market that has been compressing for a stretch of bars — its Bollinger Band wound tightly inside its Keltner Channel — has to actually expand back out, in the direction of momentum, before a signal arms. Every setup gets a structural stop beyond the coil that just broke and fixed R-based targets, and is tracked live on a full statistics dashboard so you can see how the logic behaves on the exact symbol and timeframe you trade.
🧠 Squeeze-Release Core — the core idea. The engine measures volatility compression directly from two bands. When a Bollinger Band contracts entirely inside a Keltner Channel, the market is coiling: range is shrinking and energy is building. A signal fires on the release — the bar where the band expands back outside the channel — and the direction is set by a linear-regression momentum oscillator that measures how far price sits from a composite centreline. Momentum above zero on the release fires a long; below zero fires a short. The longer and tighter the coil before it lets go, the more it counts. Signals are evaluated on the bar's close and are fixed once that bar closes — the release does not repaint.
📈 Coil Mapping & Tightness — while a squeeze is active, the engine continuously tracks how many bars it has been compressing, the high and low extent of the coil, and how tight it became — the Bollinger half-width as a fraction of the Keltner half-width. A long coil that wound down to a very tight ratio is a loaded spring; both the duration and the tightness feed directly into the strength score. A minimum-coil filter ignores fleeting micro-squeezes, and an optional Strict Fire setting demands a confirmed expansion on the release bar rather than just the end of the coil.
🎯 Structural Stop + R-Based Targets — the stop is placed just beyond the coil that just broke, with an ATR buffer: below the coil's low for a long, above the coil's high for a short — then capped and floored by ATR so it can never balloon into a wide stop or collapse into a meaningless one. TP1, TP2, and TP3 are set at clean R multiples and default to 0.5R / 0.75R / 1.25R — a tighter, hit-rate-leaning profile out of the box, and fully adjustable to whatever reward-to-risk you prefer. Every signal plots its complete Entry / SL / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 line set, labeled price levels, and filled TP / SL zone boxes, with a result label on exit.
🎚️ Coil-Conviction Controls — two inputs set how serious a squeeze must be before its release counts: Minimum Coil Bars To Arm how long the spring must compress and Minimum Strength the 0–10 gate. Tighten them for fewer, higher-quality fires; loosen them for more frequent signals. This is your main dial for conviction versus frequency.
🧭 HTF Trend Alignment Filter — an optional higher-timeframe EMA filter blocks counter-trend fires, keeping you on the dominant side of the market: longs only above it, shorts only below. The higher-timeframe value is read without lookahead. A signal cooldown spaces out entries so a single impulsive expansion doesn't stack multiple tickets.
⭐ 0–10 Setup-Quality Score — every release is scored and labeled with 1–5 stars and a tier FORMING → WEAK → MODERATE → STRONG → VERY STRONG → ELITE across nine squeeze-native factors: coil length stored energy, coil tightness how far the band compressed inside the channel, momentum magnitude at release, momentum acceleration in the fire direction, volume confirmation, expansion-candle body and range, band-width widening on the break, higher-timeframe alignment, and RSI agreement. Treat the score as a confluence / cleanliness read for ranking and thinning setups — it describes how textbook a squeeze release is, not a guaranteed outcome. A Minimum Strength / Only Strong gate lets you display and alert on stronger setups only, while the dashboard keeps tracking every tier in the background.
📊 Live Statistics Dashboard — a non-intrusive panel tracks, in real time on your chart: the current squeeze state coiling / fired / expanded / no squeeze, live coil-bar count, the momentum reading, current status and the active trade, the last signal with its star score, total signals, win rate, closed trades, profit factor, average R per trade, best-performing direction, long vs short win rate, current and max win/loss streaks, and a TP1 / TP2 / TP3 / SL hit breakdown. These are computed live from the signals on your current symbol and timeframe — so you can judge the settings yourself rather than trusting a number printed in a description.
🎨 Clean Themed Visuals — an institutional colour palette shades each zone by direction and score: bullish coils run a teal family that deepens as the score climbs, bearish coils a red-to-magenta-to-purple family, so quality reads at a glance. The compression zone is drawn over the bars where the coil formed and labeled with FIRE plus its star score; the TP and SL zones are harmonized to the same palette. Four lighting themes drive the lines, labels, and dashboard; an optional faint background tint marks active coils, and optional state dots can sit under the chart. A Max Zone Width control caps how far the SL / TP / Entry zones extend to the right, so long trades never stretch into oversized towers across the chart.
🔔 Detailed Alerts — fires on strong long / short squeeze releases, plus squeeze-on new coil forming, squeeze-released, partial-TP, TP3, and SL events, including direction and score, formatted for manual or automated use. The minimum-strength setting can restrict alerts to higher-conviction setups.
🔧 Fully Customizable — every component is exposed: Bollinger and Keltner lengths and multipliers, the true-range toggle, minimum coil bars and Strict Fire confirmation, the 0–10 strength gate and Only-Strong filter, ATR length, the structural-stop buffer with risk cap/floor, the three R targets, level-shelf length and Max Zone Width, the HTF alignment filter, the signal cooldown, plus the full institutional box palette, all four themes, and every label, dashboard, and zone-shading option.
🎯 Why this is different — most squeeze tools just print a histogram or drop a dot when the bands let go and leave everything after that to you. This one classifies the release direction from momentum, requires a real coil rather than a momentary flat spot measuring both how long and how tightly it compressed, demands momentum, acceleration, volume, and expansion confirmation, anchors the stop to the coil that actually broke, then layers an objective 0–10 ranking and a live, on-chart statistics panel on top — so you are tuning and judging the system on real, current data instead of a marketing figure.
🚀 Where to use it — markets that coil and expand: Forex, Gold XAUUSD, indices, and crypto, on intraday and swing timeframes M10/M15/M30/H1 and up. The ATR-based stop and R targets adapt to each asset's volatility automatically.
🎯 How to trade it
Apply it to a market that produces real volatility cycles and let the dashboard populate. Read the live win rate, profit factor, and average R for your symbol and timeframe before committing — if the logic doesn't suit that market, you'll see it.
Keep the HTF Trend Alignment filter on so you only take releases in the direction of the larger trend.
Wait for a STRONG LONG FIRE / STRONG SHORT FIRE label — it marks a confirmed coil release, with the star score and Entry, SL, and TP1/2/3 already plotted.
Manage the trade with the plotted levels: with the default sub-1R targets a common approach is to bank TP1 quickly, then trail or hold the remainder toward TP2/TP3; the structural SL defines your risk on the trade. If you prefer a higher reward-to-risk profile, widen the R targets in the inputs.
Use Minimum Coil Bars and Minimum Strength to set your style — stricter for fewer, cleaner releases; looser for more activity — and use the star score and Only-Strong gate to focus on the cleanest setups.
⚠️ Important — this is a decision-support tool, not a standalone buy/sell system, and it makes no performance guarantees. Default settings were chosen on historical data and behavior will vary by symbol, timeframe, and configuration; the dashboard's statistics are historical and descriptive, not a forecast. Note the default targets are sub-1R 0.5R / 0.75R / 1.25R: tight targets tend to raise the raw hit rate while lowering the reward-to-risk on each trade, so win rate read on its own is misleading — always weigh it together with average R and profit factor, and resize the targets to your own risk profile. Signals confirm on the closed bar, so always wait for the labeled release on a closed candle. Always combine it with your own analysis and risk management, and test it on your market before trading it live. Indicator

Aura Squeeze Projections [Pineify]Pineify - Aura Squeeze Projections
This indicator combines the volatility compression detection of the TTM Squeeze methodology with an innovative "aura glow" visualization, offering traders a clear and aesthetically distinct way to identify low-volatility consolidation phases and anticipate breakout directions. By merging Bollinger Bands, Keltner Channels, and linear regression momentum analysis, the Aura Squeeze Projections provides actionable squeeze signals with directional bias.
Key Features
Visual "aura glow" effect highlighting squeeze zones and momentum shifts
Squeeze detection combining Bollinger Bands and Keltner Channels
Linear regression-based momentum for directional bias
Dynamic candle coloring reflecting current market state
Squeeze start and release signal markers
How It Works
The core logic identifies volatility compression by comparing Bollinger Bands to Keltner Channels. When the Bollinger Bands contract inside the Keltner Channel boundaries (BB upper < KC upper AND BB lower > KC lower), the market enters a "squeeze" state — a period of low volatility that often precedes significant price movement.
Momentum direction is calculated using a linear regression slope of the difference between price and its moving average. A positive slope indicates bullish momentum; negative indicates bearish momentum. This determines the anticipated breakout direction when the squeeze releases.
How Multiple Indicators Work Together
Bollinger Bands measure statistical volatility through standard deviation, expanding during high volatility and contracting during consolidation. Keltner Channels use Average True Range (ATR) for a smoother volatility envelope. When BB fits entirely within KC, volatility has compressed below normal levels — the squeeze condition.
The linear regression momentum component adds directional intelligence. Rather than simply detecting compression, it forecasts the likely breakout direction by analyzing the trend slope of price deviation from its mean. This synergy transforms a binary squeeze signal into an actionable directional setup.
Unique Aspects
The "aura glow" visualization creates gradient fills between the trend midline and Keltner boundaries, providing an intuitive heat-map style view of market conditions. Colors transition dynamically: gray during squeeze (consolidation), green for bullish momentum, and red for bearish momentum. This makes market state immediately recognizable at a glance.
How to Use
Watch for the gray squeeze state indicating volatility compression
Note the circle marker appearing above bars when squeeze begins
Observe when the diamond marker appears below bars — squeeze release
The color at release (green/red) indicates anticipated breakout direction
Use candle coloring for confirmation of momentum alignment
Customization
Lookback Length : Adjusts sensitivity (shorter = more signals, longer = fewer but stronger)
BB/KC Multipliers : Fine-tune squeeze detection threshold
Use EMA : Toggle between EMA (smoother) or SMA for the midline basis
Aura Transparency : Control visual intensity of the glow effect
Conclusion
Aura Squeeze Projections offers a refined approach to squeeze-based trading by combining proven volatility compression detection with momentum-based directional analysis and distinctive visual presentation. The indicator helps traders identify consolidation periods and prepare for breakouts with directional confidence. Best used alongside price action analysis and support/resistance levels for confirmation.

TTM Squeeze Pro Enhanced v1.5.1 [pyrevo]# TTM Squeeze Pro Enhanced
**Version:** 1.5.1
**Author:** pyrevo
**License:** MPL 2.0
## Credits
This indicator is a collective work based on the contributions of the PulseWire community:
* **John Carter**: Creator of the original TTM Squeeze and TTM Squeeze Pro concepts.
* **Lazybear**: Original interpretation of the TTM Squeeze (Squeeze Momentum Indicator).
* **Makit0**: Evolution of Lazybear's script to factor in TTM Squeeze Pro upgrades (Squeeze PRO Arrows).
* **marsrides**: Some aesthetics solutions.
* **Beardy_Fred**: The base code from which this enhanced version was derived.
## Overview
**TTM Squeeze Pro Enhanced** is a professional-grade momentum and volatility indicator designed to identify explosive breakout opportunities. It is a refined version of the community's collective works, with amendments primarily to the Squeeze Conditions and visual aesthetics to provide a clearer, more actionable reading of market state.
### The Concept
For those unfamiliar with the TTM Squeeze, it is a visual way of seeing how Bollinger Bands (standard deviations from a simple moving average) relate to Keltner Channels (average true range bands) compared with the momentum of the price action.
The concept is that as Bollinger Bands compress within Keltner Channels, price volatility decreases, giving way for a potential explosive price movement up or down.
### TTM Squeeze vs. TTM Squeeze Pro
* **Original TTM Squeeze:** Uses a 1.5 ATR Keltner Channel.
* **TTM Squeeze Pro (Enhanced):** Uses 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 ATR Keltner Channels.
This helps differentiate between levels of squeeze (compression). The greater the compression (Bollinger Bands moving deeper into tighter Keltner Channels), the more potential for explosive moves.
## Indicator Analysis
### 1. Squeeze Detection (Dots)
The colored dots along the zero line represent the state of market volatility. This enhanced version uses a distinct color palette to indicate compression levels:
* **🔴 Red Dots (High Compression):** Extreme squeeze. One or both Bollinger Bands are inside the 1.0 ATR Keltner Channel.
* **🟠 Orange Dots (Medium Compression):** Significant squeeze. One or both BBs are inside the 1.5 ATR Keltner Channel.
* **⚪ Gray Dots (Low Compression):** Standard squeeze. One or both BBs are inside the 2.0 ATR Keltner Channel.
* **◽ Light Gray Dots (No Squeeze):** Volatility is normal or expanding. Squeeze has "fired".
### 2. Momentum (Histogram)
The histogram bars show price momentum relative to the squeeze:
* **Bright Green:** Positive, increasing momentum (Bullish).
* **Dark Green:** Positive, decreasing momentum (Bullish exhaustion).
* **Bright Red:** Negative, increasing momentum (Bearish).
* **Dark Red:** Negative, decreasing momentum (Bearish exhaustion).
### 3. Dual Momentum System
An optional secondary system to gauge trend strength:
* **Fast & Slow Momentum Lines:** Moving averages of the momentum to help identify crossovers.
* **Trend Crossovers:** Triangle markers indicate when fast momentum crosses slow momentum.
## Ideal Scenario
As the ticker enters the squeeze, **Gray dots** would warn of the beginning of a low compression squeeze. As the Bollinger bands continue to constrict, **Orange dots** would highlight a medium compression. As the price action and momentum continues to compress, a **Red dot** shows warning of high compression.
As price action leaves the squeeze, the coloring would reverse (Red → Orange → Gray → Light Gray). Any compression squeeze is considered "fired" at the first Light Gray dot that appears.
*Note: This is an ideal progression, however any type of squeeze sequence may appear at anytime.*
## Entry and Exit Guide
* **Entry:** John Carter recommends entering a position after at least 5 dots of compression (Gray/Orange/Red) or waiting for the first "No Squeeze" dot (Light Gray) to appear with confirming momentum.
* **Exit:** Exit on the second bar of decreasing momentum (Dark Green or Dark Red), or remain in the position after confirming a continuing trend through a separate indicator.
## Settings & Customization
* **Timeframe:** Built-in Multi-Timeframe (MTF) support allowing you to view higher-timeframe squeeze signals on lower-timeframe charts.
* **Appearance Modes:**
* **Default:** Standard enhanced palette.
* **Modern:** High-contrast palette (Teal/Red/Gold).
* **Classic MACD:** Traditional Blue/Orange line configuration.
* **Dashboard:** An on-chart table providing real-time data on squeeze status, momentum value, and trend strength.

Squeeze M + ADX + TTM (Trading Latino & John Carter) by [Rolgui]About this indicator:
This indicator aims to combine two good performing strategies, which can be used separately or together, mainly for investment positions, although it can also be used for intraday trading.
Strategy 1) Squeeze Oscillator and Average Directional Index:
This strategy is taught by Jaime Aibsai, which determines market entries based on reading the direction of the price movement (Directionality of the Oscillator) along with the strength of the Oscillator (Slope of the ADX).
Both tools are configured according to Jaime Abisai's strategy, by default (note that point 23 of the ADX is represented by point 0 on the panel, to make reading easier, its interpretation is not affected). Anyway you can adjust the input data according to your interest.
*You can see this setting in the first panel.
Strategy 2) Squeeze Momentum and Trade The Market Waves:
This strategy can be consulted either in John F. Carter's books or on his website.
This market reading is based on Price Volatility (Bollinger Bands and Keltner Channels interaction) and its Trend (Exponential Moving Averages), showing entries at times when price volatility is low and taking filtering active trend using T.T.M. Waves.
To configure the indicator in the same way that Carter does, it would be enough to turn off the ADX, turn on the Squeeze Momentum signals along with the T.T.M. Waves, and importantly, change the Linear Momentum value to 12 (this configuration can be found in his book).
*You can see this setting in the second panel.
Why this indicator?
I've added and removed the above flags as I needed to query them (which became tedious for me). The main objective of having merged them into one is to make their reading more agile and comfortable and thus improve the decision-making capacity of the trader who wishes to use them.
Credits and Acknowledgments:
I would like to give credits to other authors, for the sections of code that I have used to make this technical indicator. Thanks to @LazyBear, @matetaronna, @jombie and @joren for contributing to the community and keeping their code open. It is priceless!
Feel free to combine and practice your trading with both strategies, personally, they improved my profitability and this is why I recommend researching more about them. I've been using it for crypto investing, let me know if it's worth for you on stock market!
If you have any questions or suggestions you can leave it in the comments!

Multi-Timeframe TTM Squeeze Pro
IMPORTANT NOTE:
-> The timeframe for this indicator must be set at 1 minute;
-> If the chart timeframe is higher than 1 minute, the results shown in the table for timeframes lower than the chart will not be correct;
-> Tradingview's own documentation explains this as follows: " It is not recommended to request data of a timeframe lower that the current chart timeframe, for example 1 minute data from a 5 minutes chart. The main problem with such a case is that some part of a 1 minute data will be inevitably lost, as it’s impossible to display it on a 5 minutes chart and not to break the time axis. In such cases the behavior of security can be rather unexpected "; and
-> It is therefore recommended that this indicator is placed in a standalone 1min chart window, and the window resized to only show the table to avoid any issues.

TTM Squeeze Guide
For those unfamiliar with the TTM Squeeze, it is simply a visual way of seeing how Bollinger Bands (standard deviations from a simple moving average ) relate to Keltner Channels ( average true range bands) compared with the momentum of the price action. The concept is that as Bollinger Bands compress within Keltner Channels , price volatility decreases, giving way for a potential explosive price movement up or down.
Differences between the original TTM Squeeze and TTM Squeeze Pro:
-> Both use a 2 standard deviation Bollinger Band ;
-> The original squeeze only used a 1.5 ATR Keltner Channel; and
-> The pro version uses 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 ATR Keltner Channels .
The pro version therefore helps differentiate between levels of squeeze (compression) as the Bollinger Bands moves through the Keltner Channels i.e. the greater the compression, the more potential for explosive moves - less compression means more squeezing.
The Histogram shows price momentum whereas the colored dots (along the zeroline) show where the Bollinger Bands are in relation to the Keltner Channels:
-> Cyan Bars = positive, increasing momentum;
-> Blue Bars = positive, decreasing momentum (indication of a reversal in price direction);
-> Red Bars = negative, increasing momentum;
-> Yellow Bars = negative, decreasing momentum (indication of a reversal in price direction);
-> Orange Dots = High Compression / large squeeze (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is inside the 1st (1.0 ATR) Keltner Channel);
-> Red Dots = Medium Squeeze (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is inside the 2nd (1.5 ATR) Keltner Channel);
-> Black Dots = Low compression / wide squeeze (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is inside the 3rd (2.0 ATR) Keltner Channels );
-> Green Dots = No Squeeze / Squeeze Fired (One or both of the Bollinger Bands is outside of the 3rd (2.0 ATR) Keltner Channel).
Ideal Scenario:
As the ticker enters the squeeze, black dots would warn of the beginning of a low compression squeeze. As the Bollinger bands continue to constrict within the Keltner Channels , red dots would highlight a medium compression. As the price action and momentum continues to compress an orange dot shows warning of high compression. As price action leaves the squeeze, the coloring would reverse e.g. orange to red to black to green. Any compression squeeze is considered fired at the first green dot that appears.
Note: This is an ideal progression of the different types of squeezes, however any type of squeeze (and color sequence) may appear at anytime, therefore the focus is primarily on the green dots after any type of compression.
Entry and Exit Guide:
-> John Carter recommends entering a position after at least 5 black dots or wait for 1st green dot ; and
-> Exit on second blue or yellow bar or, alternatively, remain in the position after confirming a continuing trend through a separate indicator.

TMO with TTM SqueezeApplication of the TTM squeeze and the short-term momentum TTM Wave A in action. This is an example where the short-term wave will react faster than the TTM to give you a signal to start building your positions.
This indicator needs to be combined with "TTM Wave A" (add to existing pane).
The TTM Squeeze works like a better MACD. There is a zeroline and histogram bars above / below represent positive and negative momo. As the height of the bar decreases when above the zeroline, that is called decreasingly positive momo and as the height of the bar decreases when below the zeroline, that is called decreasingly negative momo. The dots on the TTM Squeeze: Red dots represent consolidation where Bollingers are inside the Keltner Channels and green dots represent a move out of consolidation or "squeeze fire". As price action comes out of consolidation there is a bigger move up/down depending on where momo is heading and where prices are (key support/resistance levels, fib areas). You want to use the TTM Squeeze and A wave TOGETHER - TTM Squeeze is your main momo and your A wave is a short-term momo wave that reacts faster and works as a leading gauge. You need to use them TOGETHER to gauge where price action may be heading. When the TTM Squeeze and A wave move lockstep together, let's say both are decreasingly positive, there is a good probability it continues to move in that direction to the next support levels. TWO bars on the TTM Squeeze of different heights is confirmation that in most cases means it will move in the direction of those bars. So if decreasingly positive, you'll see two darker bars. By the time you get your 2nd bar on the TTM Squeeze, it is often too late or you're losing profit. Way to counter that is after you get one darker bar in the opposite direction of current trend, use A wave to "predict" the next wave, the more A wave histogram bars going towards the other direction, the higher the certainty it will hit. Lastly, using these waves together works best when you look at it on MULTIPLE TIME FRAMES. (Credit for this details goes to Brady from Atlas). Indicator

Multi StrategyDuring the course of a trade, we can find ourselves changing strategies depending on the market. Instead of using many different templates, I have a simple indicator that clearly says "Buy", "Sell" or "Stay Out". The great thing about this approach, is we instantly observe the majority are in agreement and that decides which way to place our trade.
This indicator includes the following strategies:
- QQE
- Ichimoku using much faster settings.
- Parabolic SAR
- Supertrend
- TTM Oscillator
- The Squeeze strategy
- The Alligator Strategy
Using this indicator is simple, if the lines are mainly green then buy, if mainly red then sell OR don't trade. So...
Green Line - This strategy is in a buy position
Orange or Black Line - This strategy is undecided
Red Line - This strategy is in a sell position
There are also some green and red circles for reference that appear showing when that bar has broken through the Ichimoku cloud.
The trader's approach is simple, when all indicators are green or red, then take the trade. As soon as one indicator changes, then re-evaluate using your normal process, such as price action, to determine whether to close the trade or continue.
I can customise this further or add other strategies, please message me. Indicator
