Indicator

DTC Lot Size CalculatorYou set an Entry Price and Stop Price (click-to-place on the chart, or type them in). The script works backward from your risk percentage to tell you exactly how large a position you can take — lot size for forex/CFDs, or whole contracts for futures — so that a stop-out costs exactly what you intended to risk, not more.
It plots Entry, Stop, and R-multiple target lines (1R, 2R, 3R...) directly on the chart, and a compact table shows the full breakdown: risk amount, position size, commission, spread cost, required margin, and the resulting reward:risk ratio.
How the sizing works
Position size is solved from your planned Entry/Stop distance, not a live-recalculated one, so the lot size stays stable and doesn't silently drift every time price ticks. An optional "Reset entry to live price" toggle lets Entry track the current close while Stop stays fixed, so you can watch how a live-tracking price affects real risk without re-plotting manually every time.
True Risk (not just the target risk %) accounts for commission and spread cost, so the number you see is what you'd actually lose, not an idealized figure.
Futures contracts (ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, YM, MYM, RTY, M2K, CL, MCL, NG, GC, MGC, SI, HG, ZB, ZN, ZF, 6E, 6J, 6B, 6A, ZC, ZS, ZW, and CME BTC/ETH) use their real exchange tick size and tick value, and size in whole contracts only, no fractional micros. Spot metals (XAUUSD, XAGUSD, XPTUSD, XPDUSD) use standard 100oz/5000oz/50oz lot conventions matching their COMEX futures equivalents, since these are commonly mispriced by generic calculators.
Built-in safety checks
Risk % turns red with a caution mark above a threshold you set (default 3%). Stop distance turns red with a caution mark if it's unusually wide for a forex pair (default 15 pips). Margin % estimates how much of your account the position would tie up at your configured leverage, and warns if it exceeds 100%, catching cases where a risk-correct position size is still too large for the account to actually hold. A second, independently configurable account/risk table can be shown side by side for comparing two account sizes or risk profiles at once.
Why this is a distinct build, not a re-skin
The original by cryptonnnite was a single-instrument forex lot size calculator. This version adds: multi-asset contract specs (futures + metals), the planned-vs-live entry distinction and its safety fallback, commission+spread-inclusive true risk, the margin/leverage check, configurable warning thresholds, a second comparison account, and the auto dark/light theme system, all new logic layered on top of the original risk-sizing concept.

Lot Size Calculator KOANLot Size Calculator KOAN

Lot Size Calculator KOAN
Lot size calculator for trading index CFDs, designed primarily for the NAS100/US100. It displays a fixed panel on the chart showing the exact lot size you should trade to risk only the percentage or dollar amount you define.
Which instruments does it work on?
It works on USD-denominated index CFDs, as long as you correctly set the "Point value per lot" according to your broker's specifications:
NAS100/US100 (Nasdaq 100)
US30 (Dow Jones)
SPX500/US500 (S&P 500)
US2000 (Russell 2000)
It is not designed for traditional forex pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD…), since forex calculations are done in pips and the pip value depends on the pair; there are dedicated forex calculators for that.
How does it work?
The indicator calculates: Lot Size = Risk in $ / (Stop Loss in points × Point value). For example, with a $2000 balance, 1% risk ($20), a 50-point stop loss and a point value of $1 per lot, the result is a lot size of 0.4. This way, if price hits your stop loss, you lose exactly what you decided to risk — no more, no less.
Settings:
Balance (USD): your total account capital. This is the base used to calculate your risk.
Risk mode: choose how you want to define your risk per trade: as a percentage of your balance ("Porcentaje (%)") or as a fixed dollar amount ("Dinero ($)"). The panel always displays both values — the one you enter and the one calculated automatically.
Risk (%): percentage of your balance risked per trade. Only used when the mode is set to percentage. Default: 1%.
Risk ($): fixed dollar amount risked per trade. Only used when the mode is set to money.
Stop Loss (points): your stop loss distance in index points. Adjust it on every trade according to your analysis.
Point value per lot (USD): how much 1 point of movement is worth with 1 lot at your broker. On most NAS100 CFDs it's $1, but it varies by index and broker. Always check your broker's contract specifications (see notes below).
Panel position: where the panel is anchored on screen (6 options: top/bottom, left/center/right). The panel is fixed — it doesn't move when you scroll or zoom the chart.
Panel color: background color of the panel.
Text color: color of the panel text.
Size: text and panel size (Small, Medium, Large, XL).
Show on panel: checkboxes to choose which data is displayed: Symbol, Balance, Risk (%), Stop Loss, Point value, Risk in $ and Lot Size. Untick what you don't want to see and the panel compacts automatically.
Important notes about "Point value"
Not all indices are worth $1 per point. The value depends on your broker's contract size. As a reference: on NAS100 it's usually $1 per point per lot, but some brokers use contracts of $10 or even $20 per point, and on indices like US30 or SPX500 the contract size can also vary from broker to broker.
How to find the value at your broker: check the instrument's "contract specifications" on your platform (look for "contract size"). A practical alternative: open a minimum-size trade on a demo account and watch how many dollars your P/L changes when price moves 1 point; that's the value you should enter (scaled to 1 lot).
The definition of a "point" can also vary between brokers. When in doubt, always use the demo account method described above.
Enter the correct value in the "Point value per lot (USD)" field before trusting the result. If the value is wrong, the calculated lot size will be wrong too.
The symbol shown on the panel is automatically detected from the active chart.
This indicator is a risk management tool; it does not generate buy or sell signals.
Always verify the calculations with your broker before trading real money. Indicator

0.75% Rule - Trade ProjectionA position-sizing and reward-projection overlay for discretionary traders.
You place an entry and a stop on the chart, and the script returns the
position size that risks a fixed fraction of your account, then projects
your reward targets as R-multiples. Direction (long or short) is inferred
from where you click. The focus is getting currency-correct sizing right
with as little input as possible, and catching the sizing mistakes that
quietly distort risk.
📊 What it does
- Sizes the trade so the entry-to-stop distance equals a fixed percentage
of account equity. Default is 0.75%, a conservative fixed-fractional
risk rule, but the percentage is adjustable.
- Reports the result in the correct unit for the instrument: lots and
units for forex, or contracts/shares sized off point value elsewhere.
- Projects a configurable number of reward targets spaced in R-multiples
(1R, 2R, 3R ...), each labeled with its R-multiple and the reward amount
in your account currency.
- Draws the risk zone (entry to stop) and reward zones, plus an info panel
summarizing account, risk, direction, stop distance, size and R:R.
⚙️ How it works
- Risk amount = account size x risk %. Position size = risk amount /
(stop distance x point value x conversion rate). For forex this is
converted into standard lots.
- Direction is read from the two clicks: a stop below entry is a long,
a stop above entry is a short.
- Instrument detection is automatic (forex, JPY pairs, metals, index,
crypto) via symbol info, with a manual override if you need it.
- Account-to-quote currency conversion is explicit and manual. The
account-currency dropdown is a display label only; the single field
that adjusts lot size is the conversion rate. The panel flags the two
mistakes that actually distort risk: leaving the rate at 1.0 on a
mismatched pair, and applying a non-1.0 rate when the currencies match.
- An optional ATR-based stop can override the clicked stop (length and
multiplier adjustable). Direction still comes from your clicks.
- Repaint-free by construction: no higher-timeframe requests, entry and
stop are static prices, and all drawing is deterministic.
📋 How to use it
1. Add the script. It prompts you to click an entry price, then a stop.
2. Set account size and risk % in settings (default 0.75%).
3. If your account currency differs from the pair's quote currency, enter
the conversion rate (account currency per one unit of quote currency).
The panel warns you when a rate is needed.
4. Read position size, R:R and target levels from the panel and on-chart
labels.
5. For a new setup, open the indicator menu, choose Reset points, then
re-click entry and stop. The Re-arm toggle pauses the current
projection so a stale setup cannot mislead you.
## Notes
- This is a planning and risk-discipline tool, not a signal generator and
not financial advice. It does not place trades.
- For non-forex instruments, sanity-check the point value against your
broker's contract specs before trusting the size.
- Inputs are absolute prices, so after switching symbols you may need to
re-click entry and stop. The script detects an off-scale setup and
prompts you. Indicator

The Ultimate Lot Size Calculator Backstory
I created this Pine Script tool to calculate lot sizes with precision. While there are many lot size calculators available on PulseWire, I found that most had significant flaws. I started teaching myself Pine Script over three and a half years ago with the sole purpose of building this tool. My first version was messy and lacked accuracy, so I never published it. I wanted it to be better than any other available tool, but my limited knowledge back then held me back.
Recently, I received a request to create a similar tool, as the current options still fail to deliver the precision and reliability traders need. This inspired me to revisit my original idea. With improved skills and a better understanding of Pine Script, I redesigned the tool from scratch, making it as precise, reliable, and efficient as possible.
This tool features built-in error detection to minimize mistakes and ensure accuracy in lot size calculations. I've spent more time on this project than on any other, focusing on delivering a solution that stands out on PulseWire. While I plan to add more features based on user feedback, the current version is already a powerful, dependable, and easy-to-use tool for traders who value precision and efficiency in their lot size calculations.
How to use the tool ?
At first it might seem complicated, but it is quite easy to use the tool. There are two modes: auto and manual. By default, the tool is set on manual mode. When you apply the tool on the chart, it will ask you to choose the entry price, then the stop-loss price, and at last the take-profit price. Select all of them one by one. These values can be changed later.
Settings
There are various setting given for making the tool as flexible as possible. Here is the explanation for some of most important settings. Play with them and make yourself comfortable.
General settings
Auto mode : Use this mode if you want the the risk reward to be fixed and stop loss to be based on ATR. However the stop loss can be changed to be based on user input.
Manual mode : Use this mode if you want full control over entry, stop loss and take profit.
Contract Size : The tool works perfectly for all forex pairs including gold and silver but as the contract size is different for different assets it is difficult to add every single asset into the script manually so i have provided this option. In case you want to calculate lot size for a asset other then forex, gold or silver make sure to change this. Contract size = Quantity of the asset in 1 standerd lot.
Account settings
Automatic mode settings and ATR stop settings
Manual mode settings
Table and risk-reward box settings are pretty much self-explanatory i guess.
Error handling
A lot size calculator is a complex program. There are numerous points where it may fail and produce incorrect results. To make it robust and accurate, these issues must be addressed and managed properly, which practically all existing lot size calculator scripts fail to do.
Golden tip
When the symbol is changed it will display a symbol change warning as the entry, stop loss and take profit price won't change.
There are 2 ways to get fix this. Either manually enter all three values which i hate the most or remove the script from the chart and re-apply the script on chart again.
So to re-apply the indicator in most easy way follow the following instructions:
Note : If you encounter any other error then read the instruction to fix it and if it is an unknow error pleas report it to me in comments or DM. Indicator
