Indicator

Market Balance Shift (MBS)Here's a **professional PulseWire description** for your original indicator.
# Market Balance Shift (MBS)
**Market Balance Shift (MBS)** is an original trend-following indicator designed to identify moments when market momentum shifts from balance into expansion. Instead of relying on traditional oscillators such as RSI or MACD, MBS evaluates the relationship between **candle efficiency, price expansion, and trend direction** to highlight high-conviction trading opportunities.
The indicator measures how effectively price moves within each candle and compares the current trading range with recent market activity. When efficient price movement aligns with an established trend and expanding volatility, MBS generates Buy or Sell signals, helping traders focus on stronger directional moves while filtering out lower-quality setups.

Description & user manual
Important notice — read first.
Why is this indicator different?
Most indicators in this collection focus on reading the market — structure, momentum, sessions, entries.
That was the moment I thought of an indicator, one that protects you and gives you the opportunity to train your discipline.
It was also supposed to be a free indicator; too many people trading aimlessly and soullessly due to the many losses or are victims of so-called gurus.
As said, most risk managers looking at many things, but not at the most important one, the Trader himself.
Risk management engine does none of that. It does not look at price at all.
It looks only at you, at every input you do, and as soon as you make a mistake or reach your limit, it holds up a mirror to you.
Where other indicators help you find trades, Risk management engine exists to make sure the trades you find do not destroy the account you are trading with. It is the only tool in this collection that is entirely about the trader rather than the market. That makes it, in many ways, the most important one.
You can be right about the market and still blow your account. Risk management engine is the system that prevents that — but only if you use it honestly.
* Note: Risk management engine does not generate trading signals.
- It does not tell you when to buy or sell.
- It does not predict market direction.
- It does not replace your trading strategy or technical analysis.
-What it does
You simply trade using your own strategy/technical analysis, and you use the Risk Management Engine for account management.
The indicator shows you potential entry, stop-loss, and 3 targets.
If your own strategy says entry, the Risk Management Engine shows you the number of max contracts, and especially your stop-loss and potential targets, based on your entered account details.
-What it does more: it holds up a mirror.
Every number on the dashboard is a reflection of your own decisions — your stop placement, your risk tier, your trade results, your discipline. The system tracks what you tell it. It enforces nothing automatically. It stops nothing by force.
This means one thing matters above all else: your honesty with yourself.
It is easy to disable the lockout when the chart goes red. It is easy to skip logging a trade you are not proud of. It is easy to set your tier to full when you should be at half. It is easy to pretend a violation did not happen.
The moment you start deceiving the system, you are not deceiving the indicator. You are deceiving yourself. And the market will make sure you pay for that eventually.
Risk management engine is a tool for traders who are ready to be accountable — not for traders looking for a way around their own rules.
Use it in honestly.
Use it with discipline.
1. Overview
Risk management engine is a real-time risk compliance and position sizing dashboard for traders of all styles and instruments — from futures scalpers on funded accounts to retail forex traders managing their own capital.
The core philosophy is straightforward: before you enter a trade, you should know exactly how much you are risking, how many contracts you are allowed to trade, where your stop is, and where your targets are. After you close a trade, you log the result. The system tracks your session progress, warns you when you are approaching limits, and locks the chart when you have reached them.
Everything is manual. Everything is intentional. Manual logging forces conscious decisions. Conscious decisions build the habit of accountability that separates disciplined traders from impulsive ones.
2. Who this is for
- Prop firm traders tracking daily drawdown limits
- Funded account traders using tiered risk rules
- Retail traders who want a personal risk framework
- Scalpers who need position size calculated instantly
- Any trader who wants structure-based stops
- Anyone who needs visual accountability on their chart
- Traders recovering from a drawdown period
- Traders building consistency through disciplined journaling
This indicator is for traders who understand that risk management is not a constraint on profitability — it is the foundation of it.
3. Core concepts
3.1 The tiered risk system
Risk management engine uses a three-tier risk framework that reflects your performance state during a session. You set your tier manually based on your results. The system then calculates your allowed position size for that tier.
Full — 100% of calculated risk per trade.
Use at the start of a clean session. No deficit carried over. No losses taken yet today.
Half — 50% of calculated risk per trade.
Use after your first losing trade. You are still in the session but at reduced size. Protect the drawdown.
Quarter — 25% of calculated risk per trade.
Use after a second loss or after a rule violation. Minimum exposure. Your only goal is to stop the bleeding and potentially work back toward promotion.
The tier does not change automatically. You change it. That is by design. The moment of demotion is a conscious act of discipline — not something that happens to you, but something you choose to do because you respect the rules.
3.2 Position sizing
Before every trade, risk engine calculates exactly how many contracts you are allowed to trade based on:
- Your daily loss limit
- Your max risk percentage per trade
- Your current risk tier
- Your stop distance in ticks
- Your tick value
The formula is:
Risk amount = daily loss limit × max risk % × tier multiplier
Contracts = floor(risk amount / (stop distance in ticks × tick value))
Example (mnq):
Daily loss limit: $500
Max risk %: 2%
Tier: full (1.0×)
Stop distance: 20 ticks
Tick value: $0.50
Risk amount = $500 × 2% × 1.0 = $10.00
Contracts = floor($10.00 / (20 × $0.50)) = floor($10.00 / $10.00) = 1
You are allowed 1 mnq contract on this setup.
3.3 Structure-based stops
Instead of placing stops at arbitrary price levels based on fear or round numbers, Risk management engine calculates stops from recent pivot structure:
- Long setup: stop below the most recent pivot low plus buffer
- Short setup: stop above the most recent pivot high plus buffer
The buffer is measured in ticks and gives your trade breathing room beyond the exact pivot level. Stops that respect market structure are more meaningful than stops placed at random.
You can also disable the auto-pivot stop and enter a manual stop price if you prefer to set your own level.
3.4 Risk/reward visualization
Once your stop is set, three take profit levels are drawn on the chart automatically based on your risk distance:
- Tp1 = entry + (stop distance × rr1 ratio)
- Tp2 = entry + (stop distance × rr2 ratio)
- Tp3 = entry + (stop distance × rr3 ratio)
Default ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 — all adjustable.
A red risk zone box fills the area between entry and stop. A green reward zone box fills the area between entry and tp1. This gives you an immediate visual read on the asymmetry of your planned trade before you enter.
If the red box looks bigger than the green box — reconsider!
3.5 The carryover system
When you are demoted from one tier to a lower tier, you carry a deficit from that session into the next. You must earn back half of what you lost before you are eligible to promote back to a higher tier.
Example:
You lost 12 points at full tier.
You are demoted to half.
Your carryover deficit = 12 points.
Your promotion threshold = 12 / 2 = 6 points.
At half tier in the next session, you log your results.
The dashboard shows: 3.5 / 6.0
You still need 2.5 more points to promote back to full.
Quarter risk violation special case:
If you had a rule violation at quarter tier, an additional deficit is added on top of the standard carryover. You must dig out of a deeper hole — because violations carry consequences, not just losses.
3.6 Session lockout
The session ends and the chart is covered with a status overlay when any of the following occur:
- Daily target reached — green overlay, walk away with the win
- Maximum trades reached — red overlay, session over
- Maximum losses reached — red overlay, session over
- Rule violation logged — red overlay, immediate lockout
The lockout can be disabled in settings. There is a tooltip that reads: "Disable at your own peril."
That is not a joke. The lockout exists for a reason. Traders who disable it and continue trading after a lockout trigger are making a choice that the system cannot protect them from. Only their own discipline can.
4. Understanding result units
Risk management engine supports four result units to match how you measure your own performance:
Points — price distance between entry and exit. Common for futures traders.
Ticks — smallest price increment. One point equals the number of ticks per point for your instrument.
Dollar — direct monetary result. Works for any instrument.
Percent — result as a percentage of your account or reference value.
Choose the unit that matches how you think about your trades. Consistency matters more than which unit you pick. Do not switch mid-session.
For mnq, points is the most natural unit. For crypto or equity traders, dollar is usually clearer.

7. How to use
7.1 Before the session
1. Set your daily loss limit and daily target
2. Set your tick value and ticks per point for your instrument
3. Set your risk/reward ratios
4. Set your starting tier (usually full if no carryover)
5. Update carryover deficit if you are carrying one from a previous session
6. Clear all trade log slots from yesterday
7.2 Before each trade
1. Check the dashboard — confirm your tier and allowed contracts
2. Identify your stop level — either auto-pivot or manual
3. Read the rr visualization on the chart — entry, stop, tp levels
4. Confirm the asymmetry looks acceptable before entering
7.3 After each trade
1. Open indicator settings
2. Go to the trade log section
3. Find the next empty trade slot
4. Select the tier you actually used
5. Enter the result in your chosen unit — positive for a win, negative for a loss
6. Close settings — dashboard updates instantly
Do this every time. No exceptions. Not logging a trade because you do not like the result is the first step toward self-deception.
7.4 Mid-session adjustments
After a loss — manually change your tier to half.
After a second loss — change to quarter.
After a violation — log it as violation, accept the lockout.
The system recalculates allowed contracts and shows your new promotion threshold automatically.
7.5 Session end
When the session ends:
- Target hit: walk away. Do not give it back.
- Locked out by losses: walk away. Come back tomorrow.
- Violation: accept the consequence. Log it honestly.
Manual reset for next session:
1. Clear all trade log slots back to none / 0
2. Update carryover deficit if you are carrying one
3. Set your new starting tier
4. Adjust daily loss limit if needed for the new day
8. Tips & best practices
8.1 The most important rule
Log every trade. Immediately after it closes. Not later. Not after "one more trade." Right now.
The discipline of immediate logging is itself a trading skill. It keeps you present, accountable, and aware of exactly where you stand at all times.
8.2 Respect the tier system
The tier system only works if you apply it consistently.
If you take a loss and stay at full because "it was a good setup" or "the market was unusual today" — you are not using the system. You are using the system when it is convenient and ignoring it when it is not.
Apply the demotion every time, without exception. The whole point of the tier system is that it removes the emotional decision from the equation. Commit to the rules before the session starts, not in the middle of a losing run.
8.3 Do not move your sto
The contracts allowed calculation is based on your stop distance. If you move your stop wider to give the trade more room, your actual risk per trade increases beyond what the system calculated. You are now taking more risk than the dashboard shows.
If you want a wider stop — recalculate. Accept fewer contracts. Do not silently increase your exposure.
8.4 The lockout is there for a reason
When the chart goes red and the lockout appears, there is a setting that lets you disable it. Do not use it.
The lockout exists because the rules exist. If you have reached your maximum losses or maximum trades, continuing to trade means operating outside your rules — which means operating in a state where previous decisions have already shown your judgment is impaired for the day.
Come back tomorrow. The market will still be there.
8.5 Target hit means stop
When the dashboard shows target hit and the chart goes green — that is the signal to stop. Not to "go for one more." Not to "see if the trend continues."
Most traders who blow accounts do not do it on bad days. They do it on good days when they got overconfident after hitting their target and kept trading. Walk away with the win. That is a skill.
8.6 Setting realistic targets and limits
Your daily loss limit should be a number that, if lost, does not materially damage your account or your psychology.
Your daily target should be a number that is achievable on a normal day — not your best day ever. Consistent achievement of a realistic target builds an account faster than occasional achievement of an aggressive target.
A useful starting framework:
- Daily loss limit: 2–5% of account
- Max risk per trade: 1–2% of daily loss limit
- Daily target: 2–3× your average risk per trade
- Max trades: 3–5
- Max losses: 2–3
Adjust based on your instrument, style, and account size.
8.7 Instrument tick value setup
The single most common setup error is entering the wrong tick value. If your contracts allowed number seems too high or too low, check your tick value and ticks per point first.
- Mnq: tick value = $0.50, ticks per point = 4
- Es: tick value = $12.50, ticks per point = 4
- Crypto in dollar mode: set tick value to match your contract specification or use dollar result unit
9. What this indicator does not do
- Does not generate buy or sell signals
- Does not predict market direction
- Does not connect to your broker
- Does not automatically stop you from trading
- Does not track open positions in real time
- Does not replace your trading strategy
- Does not guarantee profitability
- Does not prevent violations — you must log them yourself
This is an accountability tool. The accountability only works if you bring the honesty. The indicator brings the structure. You bring the discipline.

Apex Edge - VantageApex Edge – Vantage
Quarter-Wick Reversal System | Price Action Based | Non-Repainting | Visual Confirmation Tool
Overview:
Apex Edge – Vantage is a precision price action indicator built to assist traders in identifying high-probability reversal entries — not based on indicators, but on how candles behave at their extremes.
This tool implements a clean, repeatable framework that reflects how I personally trade:
Spot a candle that closes with strong directional intent,
Then wait for a controlled pullback into the outer quarter,
And strike — only if price respects that line.
There’s no magic here — just raw, tactical logic visualized clearly on your chart. It's not designed to predict the market — it's built to respond when price offers you Vantage.
Core Logic:
Dot Detection – Final Quarter Close Candles
A green dot prints below a bullish candle if it closes within the top 25% of its wick-to-wick range.
A red dot prints above a bearish candle if it closes within the bottom 25% of its range.
These dots signify candles that made a strong, deliberate move in one direction — where price was pushed to an extreme and held that extreme into the close. These candles often signal institutional intent or momentum imbalance.
Entry Confirmation – Controlled Wick Rebalance
On the very next candle only, price must wick into the prior dot candle's outer quarter — but must not pass beyond it.
For buy entries, the wick must enter the bottom 25% of the previous green dot candle, but not dip below it.
For sell entries, the wick must reach into the top 25% of the red dot candle, but not exceed it.
This wick into the quarter is seen as a controlled rebalancing — a tactical reaction back into the origin zone before potential continuation.
Arrow Printing – Visual Entry Signal
Once the entry criteria are confirmed, an arrow is printed after the candle closes.
This arrow continues to print on each new candle as long as price does not violate the original entry zone — giving visual confirmation that the trade thesis is still valid.
If price breaks above/below the quarter range, the arrow disappears.
This ongoing confirmation is useful for staying in trades, managing risk, or spotting failed setups early.
Automatic Stop Loss Level
A horizontal Stop Loss line is drawn from the extreme wick of the original dot candle.
For buy entries, SL is placed below the green dot candle's low.
For sell entries, SL is placed above the red dot candle's high.
This provides immediate risk context — perfect for traders using limit orders or looking to scale in.
Coding Logic:
This script uses plotshape() and plot() functions for all visual elements.
Dot candles are identified using quarter-range logic via:
pinescript
Copy
Edit
close >= high - (high - low) * 0.25 // for bullish
close <= low + (high - low) * 0.25 // for bearish
Entry validation logic triggers only on the next candle, using:
pinescript
Copy
Edit
low >= quarterLine and low <= high // for buy entries
high <= quarterLine and high >= low // for sell entries
Arrows and SL lines are plotted only on closed candles, ensuring non-repainting behavior.
alertcondition() is used for real-time alerts on valid buy/sell triggers.
How I Personally Use It:
I wait for a dot to print — this shows directional conviction.
On the next candle, I watch for a tap into the outer quarter.
If the wick meets the criteria and the candle closes, I’ll execute manually at the close of that candle.
As long as the arrow remains on the chart, I know the setup hasn’t been invalidated.
I combine this with market structure, session timing, and liquidity context to build confluence around each trade.
Alerts Included:
Buy Entry Alert: When a green arrow prints (entry confirmed)
Sell Entry Alert: When a red arrow prints (entry confirmed)
These fire once per confirmed signal, allowing you to react in real-time or automate if desired.
Who This Is For:
Manual traders who want clean price-based entries
Anyone who uses market structure, SMC, or liquidity concepts
Traders looking to replace indicators with pure candle logic
Discretionary or semi-systematic traders who want visual tools to guide their decisions
Final Word
Apex Edge – Vantage doesn’t predict price — it shows you where price is offering you control.
This is a surgical tool designed to help you act only when the market gives you a measurable edge — and to stay in the trade as long as that edge holds.
If you're ready to stop chasing trades and start striking from a position of Vantage, then this tool belongs on your chart. Indicator

Ivan Gomes StrategyIG Signals+ - Ivan Gomes Strategy
This script is designed for scalping and binary options trading, generating buy and sell signals at the beginning of each candle. Although it is mainly optimized for short-term operations, it can also be used for medium and long-term strategies with appropriate adjustments.
How It Works
• The indicator provides buy or sell signals at the start of the candle, based on a statistical probability of candle patterns, depending on the timeframe.
• It is essential to enter the trade immediately after the signal appears and exit at the end of the same candle.
• If the first operation results in a loss (Loss), the script will send another trade signal at the start of the next candle. However, if the first trade results in a win (Gain), no new signal will be generated.
• The signals follow cycles of 3 candles, regardless of the timeframe. However, if a Doji candle appears, the cycle is interrupted, and no signals will be generated until the next valid cycle starts.
• The strategy consists of up to two trades per cycle: if the first trade is not successful, the second trade serves as an additional attempt to recover.
Key Points to Consider
1. Avoid trading in sideways markets – If price levels do not fluctuate significantly, the accuracy of the signals may decrease.
2. Trade in the direction of the trend – Using Ichimoku clouds or other trend indicators can help confirm trend direction and improve signal reliability. If the market is in an uptrend (bullish trend) and the indicator generates a sell signal, the most prudent decision would be to wait for a buy signal that aligns with the main trend. The same applies to downtrends, where buy signals may be riskier.
These decisions should be based on chart reading and supported by other technical analysis tools, such as support and resistance levels, which indicate zones where price might face obstacles or reverse direction. Additionally, Fibonacci retracement levels can help identify possible pullback points within a trend. Moving averages are also useful for visualizing the general market direction and confirming whether an indicator signal aligns with the overall price structure. Combining these tools can increase trade accuracy and prevent unnecessary trades against the main trend, reducing risks.
3. Works based on probability statistics – The algorithm analyzes candle formations and their statistical probabilities depending on the timeframe to optimize trade entries.
4. Best suited for scalping and binary options – This strategy performs best in 1-minute and 5-minute timeframes, allowing for multiple trades throughout the day.
Technical Details
• The script detects the candle cycle and assigns an index to each candle to identify patterns and possible reversals.
• It recognizes reference candles, stores their colors, and compares them with subsequent candles to determine if a signal should be triggered.
• Doji candle rules are implemented to avoid false signals in indecisive market conditions. When a Doji appears, the script does not generate signals for that cycle.
• The indicator displays visual alerts and notifications, ensuring fast execution of trades.

The most unique concept of this script is the background calculator (divergent). This is different from other scripts on the platform because of the close tie in with the relative strength index as well as the on balance volume. The divergent lets you know of overbought and oversold conditions.
Another unique take, is the use of the Keltner Channels, which provides insight on volatility.

I am NOT a professional coder. I'm not even a good coder at that. I've only started Pine Script coding since September 2019. I am teaching myself.
This script is far from finished. I need to tweak a number of things about this script. Namely:
Add a validity window to the 'trigger bar' condition. Ie, I want to shut down the condition when the price closes above EMA21
Change the order entry so they are stop orders, using the stop entry price derived from the signals
Make changes to lot sizing
Add a trailing stop condition

Cowabunga System from babypips.comPlease do read the information below as well, especially if you are new to Forex.
The Cowabunga System is a type of Mechanical Trading System that filters trades based on the trend of the 4 hour chart with EMAs and some other familiar indicators (RSI, Stochastics and MACD) while entering trades base on 15 minute chart.
I have coded (quite amateurishly) the basic system onto a 15 minute chart (the 4 hour settings are coded as well). The author says the system is to be traded off the 15 minute chart with the 4 hour chart only as a reference for trend direction.
4 Hour Chart Settings
5 EMA
10 EMA
Stochastics (10,3,3)
RSI (9)
Then we move onto the 15 minute chart, where he gives us the trade entry rules.
15 Minute Chart Settings
5 EMA
10 EMA
Stochastics (10,3,3)
RSI (9)
MACD (12,26,9)
Entry Rules - long entry rules used, obviously reverse these for shorting.
1. EMA must cross above the 10 EMA.
2. RSI must be greater than 50 and not overbought.
3. Stochastic must be headed up and not be in overbought territory.
4. MACD histogram must go from negative to positive OR be negative and start to increase in value.
What I did.
1. Set the RSI and Stochastic levels to avoid entries when they indicate overbought conditions for long and oversold conditions for short (80 and 20 levels).
2. Users can input specific times they want to backtest.
3. User's can configure profit targets, trailing stops and stops. Default is set it to was 100 pips profit target with a 40 pip trailing stop. (Note, when you are changing these values, please note that each pip is worth 10, so 100 pips is entered as 1000.)
The Cowabunga System from babypips.com is another popular and active system. The author, Pip Surfer, continues to post wins and losses with this system. It shows there is a lot of honesty and integrity with this system if the author keeps up to date even 10 years later and is not afraid of sharing the times the system causes losses.
As an example of this, here is post he shared just last week . It's almost like a journal, he gives specific times and reasons why he entered, lets the readers know when he was stopped out, etc. I think that what he does is equally important as his system.

3 Duck's Trading System from Babypips.comThe 3 Duck's Trading System from Babypips.com
The 3 Duck's Trading System is the most popular and active trading system thread on the the babypips.com forum. It is a system that is mainly for beginners because it teaches you discipline, learning to cope with price moving against your position and learning to stay in a trade and keep profits running. For the thread and more info on the 3 Duck's Trading System click here
How does it work?
The system is a very simple enter/exit based on the 60 SMA of 3 different time frames: 4 hour, 1 hour and 5 minute.
The Rules, er, the Ducks! The Ducks must all be in a row for a trade to take place!
Duck 1 - To go long, price must be above the 60 SMA on the 4 hour chart.
Duck 2 - To go long, price must be above the 60 SMA on the 1 hour chart.
Duck 3 - To go long, price must cross above the 60 SMA on the 5 minute chart and the 60 SMA of the 5 minute chart must be below that of the 4 hour and 1 hour chart. (obviously the reverse for shorting)
YOU MUST USE THIS SYSTEM ONLY ON THE 5 MINUTE CHART.
I say this because I have already charted all of the Ducks into the 5 minute chart so you don't have to flip back and forth.
I have also added some inputs for profit targets, stop targets, trailing stops and times to trade for backtesting.
If you have any questions or comments, please let me know! If you see I messed up on something, please let me know!
Also a VERY special thanks to the babypips.com user Captain_Currency . He wrote this strategy 10 years ago (2007 was 10 years ago?!) and he is still active on the thread and posting results and offering help! Strategy

Pullback Trading Tool R5-65 by JustUncleLBy request this is an updated version of the "PullBack Trading Tool": removes experimental "OCC" channel, added option to display ribbons or just single moving average lines, added alert arrows for "PB" exits, added alertcondition for TV alarm subsystem, added some extract options for Pivot points and general cleanup of code.
Description:
This project incorporates the majority of the indicators needed to analyse and trade Trends for Pullbacks, swings and reversals.
Incorporated within this tool are the following indicators:
1. Major industry (Banks) recognised important EMAs in an EMA Ribbon:
Lime = EMA5 (Optional Display)
DodgerBlue = EMA12 (Optional Display)
Red = EMA36 (Optional display)
Green = EMA89
Blue = EMA200
Black = EMA633
2. The 5 EMA (default) High/Low/Close Price Action Channel (PAC), the PAC channel display is disabled by default.
3. Optionally display Fractals and optional Fractal levels
4. Optional HH, LH, LL, HL finder.
5. Optional Buy/Sell "PB" exit Alerts with Optional 200EMA filter.
6. Coloured coded Bar high lighting based on the PAC:
blue = bar closed above PAC
red = bar closed below PAC
gray = bar closed inside PAC
7. Alert condition sent to PulseWire's Alarm subsystem for PB exits.
8. Pivot points with optional labels.
9. EMA5-12 Ribbon is displayed by default.
10.EMA12-36 Ribbon is displayed by default
Set up and hints:
I am unable to provide a full description here, as Pullback Trading incorporates a full trading Methodology, there are a number of articles and books written on the subject.
Set the chart to Heikin Ashi Candles (optional).
I also add a "Sweetspot Gold R3" indicator to the chart as well to help with support and resistance finding and shows where the important "00" lines are.
First on a weekly basis say Sunday night or Monday morning, analyse the Daily and Weekly charts to establish overall trends, and support/resistant levels. Draw significant mini trend lines (2/3 TL), vertical trend lines (VTL) and S/R levels. Can use the Pivots points to guide VTL drawing and Fractals to help guide 2/3 TL drawing.
Once the trend direction and any potential major reversals highlighted, drop down to lower timeframe chart and draw appropriate mini Trend line (2/3 TL) matching the established momentum direction. Take note of potential pull backs from and of the EMAs, in particular the EMA5-12 ribbon, EMA12-36 Ribbon and the 200EMA. Can use the Pivots and/or Fractals points to guide your 2/3 TL drawing.
Set a PulseWire alarm on the "PBTOOL alert", with the default settings this normally occurs before or during the Break of the manually drawn TL lines.
Once alerted check to see if the TL is broken and is returning to trend away from the EMA lines, this is indicated by bar colour change to trend directional colour.
You can trade that alert or drop down to even lower time frames and perform the same TL analysis there to find trades at the lower TF. Trading at lower TF you will allow tighter Stop loss settings.
Other than the "SweetSpot Gold R3" indicator, you should not need any other indicator to successfully trade trends for Pullbacks and reversals. If you really want another indicator I suggest a momentum one for example: AO ( Awesome Oscillator ), MACD or Squeeze Momentum.
