ES Breakout Toolkit Momentum Close Filter Free=== PART OF THE ES BREAKOUT TOOLKIT ===
This is one of several free, standalone indicators that make up the ES Breakout Toolkit series. Each indicator isolates a single component used in the full ES London Breakout Pro strategy. They are designed to be useful on their own and educational for traders who want to understand candle close dynamics and momentum quality.
=== WHAT THIS INDICATOR DOES ===
The Momentum Close Filter analyzes where price closes within each candle's range and classifies candles by momentum strength. A candle that closes near its high has strong bullish momentum. A candle that closes near its low has strong bearish momentum. A candle that closes in the middle is indecisive.
This concept — called close position analysis — is a powerful filter that many traders overlook. The indicator tracks close position in real time, identifies extreme momentum readings using a statistical threshold (1.5 standard deviations above/below average), and detects momentum streaks where multiple consecutive candles show strong directional commitment.
=== HOW TO USE IT ===
Apply this to an ES futures chart on a 5-minute timeframe. The indicator will color bars by their momentum classification and mark extreme momentum candles with diamond signals. Streak flags appear when three or more consecutive candles show strong momentum in the same direction.
The dashboard shows the current candle's close position percentage, body ratio, momentum classification, streak count, and the rolling average close position over your lookback period. The running stats at the bottom show how many strong bullish vs bearish candles have occurred, giving you a sense of the session's directional bias.
An optional histogram mode plots the close position as columns in a separate pane with your threshold lines and the rolling average overlaid. This is useful for studying close position distribution over time.
=== KEY FEATURES ===
- Real-time close position analysis for every candle
- Configurable bullish and bearish momentum thresholds
- Extreme momentum detection using standard deviation bands
- Momentum streak tracking with visual flags at 3+ consecutive candles
- Optional bar coloring by momentum classification
- Optional histogram pane with threshold and average lines
- Optional London session filter
- Dashboard with close position, body ratio, momentum state, and streak info
- Running session stats for strong bull vs bear candle counts
- Alerts for strong and extreme momentum candles in both directions
=== WHY CLOSE POSITION MATTERS ===
Two candles can have identical body sizes but very different close positions. A candle with a long upper wick closing in the middle of its range tells a different story than a candle closing at its high with no upper wick. Close position captures this nuance. When combined with a body ratio filter, it becomes a reliable measure of whether a candle represents genuine directional commitment or just noise.
=== ABOUT THE ES BREAKOUT TOOLKIT ===
This indicator is part of a free series that breaks down the building blocks of a London session ES futures breakout strategy. Other free indicators in the series cover session highlighting, consolidation range detection, ADX regime filtering, and breakout candle scanning. Each is published separately on my profile.
The full ES London Breakout Pro indicator combines all of these components into a unified strategy with additional proprietary features including advanced risk management, trade qualification, and data tracking. Bullish-Bearish Candle PowerBullish Bearish Candle Power
What Does This Code Do For You?
Saves you from the hassle of constantly scanning for candlestick patterns on the screen.
Measures whether price action is supported by volume.
Provides an emotion-free, mathematical momentum report.
Part 1: Measuring the Candle Anatomy
The code breaks down every new candlestick into precise components:
Candle Range: The difference between the highest and lowest price.
Body Size: The net difference between the open and close price.
Wicks (Upper and Lower): Shows how much the price was rejected at the top and bottom.
Part 2: Pattern Recognition Engine
This is the smartest part of the code. It automatically scans for popular technical analysis candlestick patterns. If a candle meets the rules, it awards Bonus Points to that direction's strength.
Bullish (Uptrend) Patterns and Criteria:
Hammer: Long lower wick, short upper wick (Buyers bought the dip). +25 points.
Bullish Engulfing: The green candle's body is larger than the previous red candle's body. +30 points.
Bullish Marubozu: A solid green candle with almost no wicks. +35 points.
Morning Star, Tweezer Bottom, Harami: Other classic reversal patterns.
Bearish (Downtrend) Patterns and Criteria:
Shooting Star: Long upper wick, short lower wick (Sellers hit from the top). +25 points.
Bearish Engulfing: The red body engulfs the previous green body. +30 points.
Bearish Marubozu: A solid, full red candle. +35 points.
Evening Star, Tweezer Top, Hanging Man: Classic bearish reversal patterns.
Part 3: Volume Confirmation
Low-volume rallies are usually traps. To solve this, the code divides the current candle's volume by the volume average of the last 20 candles (SMA). If the volume is above the average, the power is multiplied; if it is below, it reduces the score.
Part 4: Final Strength Calculation
The code aggregates all this data (Position in the candle + Volume + Bonus Points) and creates two pools: Raw Bullish Power and Raw Bearish Power. It then converts them into percentages:
Bullish Percentage = (Bullish Score / Total Score) * 100
For example, at the end of the calculation, the system tells you: "There is 80% Buying and 20% Selling pressure on this candle."
Part 5: Visualization, Tables, and Alerts
It displays the results on your screen for easy reading:
Sub-chart Lines: Draws dynamic Green and Red lines to show instantly who is in control.
Top-Right Table: Shows the real-time percentage status of the candle and the detected pattern name (e.g., Hammer).
Background Colors and Alerts: If either side exceeds a threshold you set in the settings (for example 75%), it paints the background of the screen and sends an automatic alert to your phone or computer.
GOOD LUCK!

Fair Value Range Breakout [by Oberlunar]Fair Value Range Breakout by Oberlunar is a community tool built around higher-timeframe structure and HTF imbalance zones. It reconstructs and draws up to three recent candles from a user-selected HTF and optionally displays their High, Low, Open, and Close levels with configurable styles and colours, keeping HTF candles and FVG ranges readable while working on lower timeframes.
On each confirmed HTF candle close, the script scans the last three closed HTF candles to detect bullish and bearish Fair Value Gaps using either wicks or candle bodies as the reference. You can filter gaps by a minimum size in ticks, keep only the most recent zones, and extend zones to the right for ongoing interaction tracking.
Set the HTF timeframe according to your horizon, such as Daily for swing context or H4-H2 for intraday structure, then enable the HTF candle overlay and choose which OHLC levels to show for each candle. In the HTF FVG settings, pick Wicks for zones that reflect extremes or Bodies for tighter zones, and increase the minimum gap in ticks if you want fewer, cleaner zones. If you use signals, choose “Close inside” for stricter interaction requirements or “Wick touch” for earlier detection, and apply a small exit buffer in ticks when noise is high. A practical workflow is using HTF=2H on a 5m or 15m chart, monitoring price interaction with an HTF FVG zone, and treating the plotted signal as confirmation of a zone exit rather than a standalone entry system.
Attribution and derivative work notice is explicit and intentional.
The HTF candle architecture component is a derivative work based on HTF Candle Architecture by BigBeluga, and the HTF FVG engine is a derivative work based on “Fair Value Gap MTF” by Oberlunar.

Filter Bar1. Indicator Name
Filter Bar
2. One-line Introduction
A trend-aware bar coloring system that visualizes market direction and strength through adaptive transparency based on regression scoring.
3. General Overview
Filter Bar+ is a minimalist but powerful trend visualization tool that colors chart bars according to market direction and momentum strength.
It analyzes the linear regression trend alignment over a specified lookback period and uses a pairwise comparison algorithm to determine whether the market is in a bullish, bearish, or neutral state.
The result is a "trend score" that gets normalized to reflect trend intensity (0~1).
Bar colors are then dynamically updated using the specified bullish or bearish base colors, where higher intensity results in more opaque (darker) bars, and weaker trends lead to lighter, faded tones.
If no strong trend is detected, bars are shown in gray, signaling indecision or neutrality.
The strength of this indicator lies in its simplicity—it doesn’t draw lines, waves, or shapes, but overlays insight directly onto the chart through smart color cues.
It’s particularly effective as a background filter for price action traders, scalpers, and anyone who prefers clean charts but still wants embedded directional context.
4. Key Advantages
🎨 Adaptive Bar Coloring
Bar color opacity increases with trend strength, offering instant visual confirmation without clutter.
📊 Quantified Trend Direction
Uses a regression-based scoring system to reliably detect uptrends, downtrends, or sideways markets.
⚖️ Customizable Sensitivity
Parameters like lookback period and tolerance percentage give users full control over signal responsiveness.
🧼 Clean Chart Presentation
No lines, shapes, or overlays—just color-coded bars that blend into your existing chart setup.
🚀 Lightweight & Fast
Minimal computational load ensures it works smoothly even on lower-end devices or multiple chart setups.
🔒 Secure Internal Logic
Algorithm is neatly encapsulated and optimized, with no critical logic exposed.
📘 Indicator User Guide
📌 Basic Concept
Filter Bar+ evaluates trend direction and strength using a pairwise comparison of linear regression values.
The result determines whether the market is bullish, bearish, or neutral, and adjusts bar colors accordingly.
It visually amplifies the current market state without drawing any indicators on the chart.
⚙️ Settings Explained
Lookback Period: Number of bars used to compare regression values
Range Tolerance (%): Minimum score required to label a trend as bullish or bearish
Regression Source: Data input used for regression (default: close)
Linear Regression Length: Period for generating the base regression line
Bull/Bear Base Colors: Choose colors to represent bullish or bearish bars
📈 Buy Timing Example
Bars are green (or user-set bullish color) and becoming more vivid
Indicates a strengthening bullish trend; helpful when used alongside breakout confirmation or support zones
📉 Sell Timing Example
Bars turn red (or your custom bearish color) with increasing opacity
Signals growing bearish pressure; acts as confirmation during short setups or breakdowns
🧪 Recommended Use Cases
Combine with volume, RSI, or price action setups for direction filtering
Ideal for clean chart strategies where visual simplicity is preferred
Use as a confirmation layer to reduce noise in sideways markets
🔒 Precautions
This is a visual filter, not a signal generator—use alongside other strategies for entries/exits
In choppy markets, bars may flicker between colors—adjust sensitivity as needed
Works best when you already have a directional thesis and want to validate it visually
Always test settings for your asset/timeframe before applying in live trades Indicator

Strong Body Close Candle (90%)This indicator highlights Strong Body Close Candles, which are single bars where the real body makes up the vast majority of the total range and the close is positioned very close to the candle’s extreme. By default, the script looks for candles where the body is at least 90% of the full high-low range, and the close falls within the top 10% (for bullish) or bottom 10% (for bearish). These settings ensure that only very strong, conviction-driven candles are marked. The script plots labels above or below qualifying bars, colors the candle accordingly, and provides alert conditions so you can be notified in real time when such a candle forms.
Both percentages are fully adjustable so you can fine-tune the strictness of the definition. For example, if you change the body threshold to 85% and the close-to-extreme threshold to 15%, the script will highlight candles where the body makes up at least 85% of the total range and the close is within 15% of the high or low. This adjustment allows for a slightly looser definition, catching more frequent signals while still maintaining strength criteria. Built-in alerts let you choose between bullish and bearish signals separately (or both), ensuring you won’t miss setups even when you’re away from the chart.
This tool is flexible across timeframes and instruments. On lower timeframes, signals may appear more frequently, highlighting intraday momentum bursts, while on higher timeframes such as daily or weekly charts, these signals often represent periods of strong directional conviction. Traders can combine this indicator with additional filters such as trend direction, volume confirmation, VWAP, or moving averages to improve reliability and fit it into their broader strategy. Because the body and close thresholds are user-defined, you have control over whether the indicator is tuned to rare but powerful candles (stricter settings) or more frequent signals (looser settings).
The indicator is designed to be non-repainting since it only evaluates candles after they close. It can be used purely visually with chart labels and bar coloring or as part of an automated workflow with PulseWire alerts. Alerts are triggered on bar close whenever a bullish or bearish strong body close candle is detected, allowing you to integrate them into your trading process via pop-ups, emails, mobile notifications, or webhooks. Whether you’re looking for sharp reversals, momentum continuation signals, or simply want to filter out weaker candles, this tool provides a clear and adjustable framework for identifying high-conviction bars. Intrabar Volume Delta — RealTime + History (Stocks/Crypto/Forex)Intrabar Volume Delta Grid — RealTime + History (Stocks/Crypto/Forex)
# Short Description
Shows intrabar Up/Down volume, Delta (absolute/relative) and UpShare% in a compact grid for both real-time and historical bars. Includes an MTF (M1…D1) dashboard, contextual coloring, density controls, and alerts on Δ and UpShare%. Smart historical splitting (“History Mode”) for Crypto/Futures/FX.
---
# What it does (Quick)
* **UpVol / DownVol / Δ / UpShare%** — visualizes order-flow inside each candle.
* **Real-time** — accumulates intrabar volume live by tick-direction.
* **History Mode** — splits Up/Down on closed bars via simple or range-aware logic.
* **MTF Dashboard** — one table view across M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1 (Vol, Up/Down, Δ%, Share, Trend).
* **Contextual opacity** — stronger signals appear bolder.
* **Label density** — draw every N-th bar and limit to last X bars for performance.
* **Alerts** — thresholds for |Δ|, Δ%, and UpShare%.
---
# How it works (Real-Time vs History)
* **Real-time (open bar):** volume increments into **UpVolRT** or **DownVolRT** depending on last price move (↑ goes to Up, ↓ to Down). This approximates live order-flow even when full tick history isn’t available.
* **History (closed bars):**
* **None** — no split (Up/Down = 0/0). Safest for equities/indices with unreliable tick history.
* **Approx (Close vs Open)** — all volume goes to candle direction (green → Up 100%, red → Down 100%). Fast but yields many 0/100% bars.
* **Price Action Based** — splits by Close position within High-Low range; strength = |Close−mid|/(High−Low). Above mid → more Up; below mid → more Down. Falls back to direction if High==Low.
* **Auto** — **Stocks/Index → None**, **Crypto/Futures/FX → Approx**. If you see too many 0/100 bars, switch to **Price Action Based**.
---
# Rows & Meaning
* **Volume** — total bar volume (no split).
* **UpVol / DownVol** — directional intrabar volume.
* **Delta (Δ)** — UpVol − DownVol.
* **Absolute**: raw units
* **Relative (Δ%)**: Δ / (Up+Down) × 100
* **Both**: shows both formats

# How to use (Quick Start)
1. Add the indicator to your chart (overlay=false → separate pane).
2. **History Mode**:
* Crypto/Futures/FX → keep **Auto** or switch to **Price Action Based** for richer history.
* Stocks/Index → prefer **None** or **Price Action Based** for safer splits.
3. **Label Density**: start with **Limit to last X bars = 30–150** and **Show every N-th bar = 2–4**.
4. **Contextual Coloring**: keep on to emphasize strong Δ% / Share moves.
5. **Dashboard**: enable and pick only the TFs you actually use.
6. **Alerts**: set thresholds (ideas below).
---
# Alerts (in PulseWire)
Add alert → pick this indicator → choose any of:
* **Delta exceeds threshold** (|Δ| > X)
* **UpShare above threshold** (UpShare% > X)
* **UpShare below threshold** (UpShare% < X)
* **Relative Delta above +X%**
* **Relative Delta below −X%**
**Starter thresholds (tune per symbol & TF):**
* **Crypto M1/M5**: Δ% > +25…35 (bullish), Δ% < −25…−35 (bearish)
* **FX (tick volume)**: UpShare > 60–65% or < 40–35%
* **Stocks (liquid)**: set **Absolute Δ** by typical volume scale (e.g., 50k / 100k / 500k)
---
# Notes by Market Type
* **Crypto/Futures**: 24/7 and high liquidity — **Price Action Based** often gives nicer history splits than Approx.
* **Forex (FX)**: PulseWire volume is typically **tick volume** (not true exchange volume). Treat Δ/Share as tick-based flow, still very useful intraday.
* **Stocks/Index**: historical tick detail can be limited. **None** or **Price Action Based** is a safer default. If you see too many 0/100% shares, switch away from Approx.
---
# “All Timeframes” accuracy
* Works on **any TF** (M1 → D1/W1).
* **Real-time accuracy** is strong for the open bar (live accumulation).
* **Historical accuracy** depends on your **History Mode** (None = safest, Approx = fastest/simplest, Price Action Based = more nuanced).
* The MTF dashboard uses `request.security` and therefore follows the same logic per TF.
---
# Trade Ideas (Use-Cases)
* **Scalping (M1–M5)**: a spike in Δ% + UpShare>65% + rising total Vol → momentum entries.
* **Intraday (M5–M30–H1)**: when multiple TFs show aligned Δ%/Share (e.g., M5 & M15 bullish), join the trend.
* **Swing (H4–D1)**: persistent Δ% > 0 and UpShare > 55–60% → structural accumulation bias.
---
# Advantages
* **True-feeling live flow** on the open bar.
* **Adaptable history** (three modes) to match data quality.
* **Clean visual layout** with guides, compact numbers, contextual opacity.
* **MTF snapshot** for quick bias read.
* **Performance controls** (last X bars, every N-th bar).
---
# Limitations & Care
* **FX uses tick volume** — interpret Δ/Share accordingly.
* **History Mode is an approximation** — confirm with trend/structure/liquidity context.
* **Illiquid symbols** can produce noisy or contradictory signals.
* **Too many labels** can slow charts → raise N, lower X, or disable guides.
---
# Best Practices (Checklist)
* Crypto/Futures: prefer **Price Action Based** for history.
* Stocks: **None** or **Price Action Based**; be cautious with **Approx**.
* FX: pair Δ% & UpShare% with session context (London/NY) and volatility.
* If labels overlap: tweak **Row Spacing** and **Text Size**.
* In the dashboard, keep only the TFs you actually act on.
* Alerts: start around **Δ% 25–35** for “punchy” moves, then refine per asset.
---
# FAQ
**1) Why do some closed bars show 0%/100% UpShare?**
You’re on **Approx** history mode. Switch to **Price Action Based** for smoother splits.
**2) Δ% looks strong but price doesn’t move — why?**
Δ% is an **order-flow** measure. Price also depends on liquidity pockets, sessions, news, higher-timeframe structure. Use confirmations.
**3) Performance slowdown — what to do?**
Lower **Limit to last X bars** (e.g., 30–100), increase **Show every N-th bar** (2–6), or disable **Draw Guide Lines**.
**4) Dashboard values don’t “match” the grid exactly?**
Dashboard is multi-TF via `request.security` and follows the history logic per TF. Differences are normal.

Wick Size in USD with 10-Bar AverageWick Size in USD with 10-Bar Average
Version: 1.0
Author: QCodeTrader
🔍 Overview
This indicator converts the price wicks of your candlestick chart into USD values based on ticks, providing both raw and smoothed data via a 10-bar simple moving average. It helps traders visualize the monetary impact of price extremes, making it easier to assess volatility, potential risk, and plan appropriate stop loss levels.
⚙️ Key Features
Tick-Based Calculation:
Converts wick sizes into ticks (using a fixed tick size of 0.01, typical for stocks) and then into USD using a customizable tick value.
10-Bar Moving Average:
Smooths out the wick values over the last 10 bars, giving you a clearer view of average wick behavior.
Bullish/Bearish Visual Cues:
The chart background automatically highlights bullish candles in green and bearish candles in red for quick visual assessment.
Stop Loss Optimization:
The indicator highlights long wick sizes, which can help you set more accurate stop loss levels. Even when the price moves in your favor, long wicks may indicate potential reversals—allowing you to account for this risk when planning your stop losses.
User-Friendly Customization:
Easily adjust the USD value per tick through the settings to tailor the indicator to your specific instrument.
📊 How It Works
Wick Calculation:
The indicator calculates the upper and lower wicks by measuring the distance between the candle’s high/low and its body (open/close).
Conversion to Ticks & USD:
These wick sizes are first converted from price points to ticks (dividing by a fixed tick size of 0.01) and then multiplied by the user-defined tick value to convert the measurement into USD.
Smoothing Data:
A 10-bar simple moving average is computed for both the upper and lower wick values, providing smoothed data that helps identify trends and deviations.
Visual Representation:
Columns display the raw wick sizes in USD.
Lines indicate the 10-bar moving averages.
Background Color shifts between green (bullish) and red (bearish) based on candle type.
⚡ How to Use
Add the Indicator:
Apply it to your chart to begin visualizing wick sizes in monetary terms.
Customize Settings:
Adjust the Tick Value in USD in the settings to match your instrument’s tick value.
(Note: The tick size is fixed at 0.01, which is standard for many stocks.)
Optimize Your Stop Loss:
Analyze the raw and averaged wick values to understand volatility. Long wicks—even when the price moves in your favor—may indicate potential reversals. This insight can help you set more accurate stop loss levels to protect your gains.
Analyze:
Use the indicator’s data to gauge market volatility and assess the significance of price movements, aiding in more informed trading decisions.
This indicator is perfect for traders looking to understand the impact of extreme price movements in monetary terms, optimize stop loss levels, and effectively manage risk across stocks and other instruments with similar tick structures. Indicator

Indicator

TechniTrend: CandleMetrics🟦 Overview
The TechniTrend: CandleMetrics Indicator is a powerful tool designed to give traders an in-depth analysis of candlestick structures. This indicator allows users to identify potential reversal points, trend continuations, and other crucial market behaviors by examining key ratios between candle components—such as body, shadow, and overall range—alongside volume conditions. The advanced filtering options offer flexibility for both novice and experienced traders, enabling tailored setups to suit different trading strategies.
🟦 Key Features
🔸Customizable Ratios: Set thresholds for Body-to-Range, Shadow-to-Range, Upper Shadow-to-Range, and Lower Shadow-to-Range ratios.
🔸Volume-Based Filters: Integrate volume conditions to strengthen the reliability of signals.
🔸Flexible Conditions: Choose whether filters should work independently or in combination, allowing for precise pattern identification.
🔸Visual Markers: Mark potential signals with a distinct background color and symbols on the chart.
🔸Alerts: Receive notifications for each selected condition, ensuring you never miss an opportunity.
🟦 How It Works
The CandleMetrics Indicator operates by analyzing the relationship between different components of each candlestick, combined with volume data to determine the strength of signals. Here’s a detailed breakdown of each feature:
🔸 Body to Range Ratio:
This filter compares the size of the candle's body to its total range (from high to low).
Example Setting: If you’re interested in spotting candles with small bodies relative to their total range, you might set the Body-to-Range Ratio to “Less than 0.3.”
🔸 Shadow to Range Ratio:
This examines the combined size of both shadows (upper and lower) relative to the entire candle range.
Example Setting: Use a Shadow-to-Range Ratio set to “More than 0.8” to find candles with significant wick lengths, suggesting market indecision.
🔸 Upper Shadow to Range Ratio:
This filter assesses the proportion of the upper shadow (wick) in relation to the candle’s full range.
Example Setting: “Less than 0.05” can help identify situations where the upper shadow is minimal, indicating strong downward pressure.
🔸 Lower Shadow to Range Ratio:
It measures the lower shadow compared to the entire candle range.
Example Setting: “More than 0.7” is useful for detecting potential rejection patterns at lower prices, hinting at a possible bullish reversal.
🔸 Volume Filter:
Integrates volume data to verify the reliability of each candle pattern.
Example Setting: Apply a Volume Filter Length of 100 with an SMA type to smooth volume data over a longer period, filtering out short-term noise and focusing on significant volume shifts.
🟦 Combining Filters
The indicator offers an option to Combine Filters. When this setting is enabled, all selected conditions must be met simultaneously for a candle to be marked. If disabled, each condition functions independently, allowing more flexibility in detecting diverse patterns.
🟦 Examples & Use Cases
🔸Example 1: Spotting Reversal Opportunities
I used the following configuration to find potential bullish reversals:
Upper Shadow to Range Ratio: “Less than 0.05” – Looking for candles with almost no upper shadow.
Lower Shadow to Range Ratio: “More than 0.7” – Highlighting candles with a significant lower shadow.
Volume Filter Length: 100 with SMA.
This setup effectively highlights candles where price rejection is happening at lower levels, suggesting a potential trend reversal to the upside.
🔸Example 2: Detecting Market Uncertainty
If you want to focus on candles showing market hesitation, try:
Shadow to Range Ratio: “More than 0.85” – Emphasizing long-wick candles that could indicate indecision.
Disable Combine Filters to allow flexibility, marking any candle meeting the above criteria.
🟦 Detailed Explanation of Each Option
Here’s a clear and concise breakdown of each option for a better understanding:
1. Body to Range Ratio
Purpose: This ratio shows how significant the candle's body is compared to its overall range. A smaller body-to-range ratio can indicate a potential reversal if the market appears indecisive.
How to Use: Increase the ratio to filter for stronger trend candles; decrease it to identify reversal or indecision candles.
2. Shadow to Range Ratio
Purpose: This filter captures the size of both shadows relative to the candle's total range. A larger ratio often points to market hesitation, while a smaller ratio suggests a decisive move.
How to Use: Adjust this filter to focus on candles with long wicks (indecision) or short wicks (decisiveness).
3. Upper Shadow to Range Ratio
Purpose: Helps to identify candles with strong downward moves by focusing on the upper wick length. A small upper shadow can imply sellers' dominance.
How to Use: Lower the ratio to detect candles with minimal upward rejection.
4. Lower Shadow to Range Ratio
Purpose: Targets candles with strong buying pressure by analyzing the lower shadow. A larger lower shadow may indicate a bullish reversal.
How to Use: Increase the ratio to spot rejection candles with significant lower shadows.
5. Volume Filter
Purpose: Adds a volume component to verify the validity of each candlestick pattern. Higher-than-average volume often signifies the strength of a move.
How to Use: Adjust the filter length and type to smooth out volume fluctuations based on your trading timeframe.
🟦 Indicator Alerts
Each filter has its own alert configuration, enabling traders to stay updated on market conditions that meet their selected criteria. You can customize alerts to trigger whenever a condition is met, helping to manage trades even when away from the screen. Indicator

Discovery IndexThe Discovery Index is an original technical indicator which attempts to display directional market pressure and momentum based on accumulated candle-over-candle measurements.
Discovery , in this context, is the act of finding (discovering) New Highs and Lows.
> What is 'Discovery'
Not to be confused with "Price Discovery", the term for setting the spot price of an asset.
The term 'Discovery' in Discovery Index is used based on the literal definition of 'Discovery', such as, the action of finding what was previously unknown.
Given this definition,
Discovery is the difference between highs or lows only when the current high is higher than the previous high or the current low is lower than the previous low.
Below is a visual example of exactly where Discovery is seen from each candle.
Since discovery is only based on points of the candle, and not specifically the direction of the candle; it is possible for discovery to occur in both directions from the same candle.
It is also possible for no discovery to occur from a candle.
> Calculation
The Discovery Index is the Net Total of discovery data over a specified length of bars.
Discovery Index = Sum of Upwards Discovery + Sum of Downwards Discovery
Note: Upwards Discovery is always Positive, and Downwards Discovery is always Negative. By adding both together, their Net Total is produced. This value is the "Discovery Index".
Wick Calculation Example
> Volume Discovery
Using Volume for the Discovery Index Calculation allows for a different dimension to be added to the data for new analysis opportunities.
While volume data is only a single value, by accumulating this data over time, we are able to fabricate a candle body from the data by accounting for the direction of the chart candles.
This allows for the Calculation of the Discovery Index based on volume data.

The display uses a "Candlestick histogram" display. The bodies and wicks from the display represent the discovery data from the respective points in each candle. (Wick Discovery & Candle Body Discovery).
This style of histogram allows for the display of both data sources, preserving the accuracy and distinction between each type, while also providing a clean display.
> Considerations
Discovery index is not an Oscillator, since there are no upper or lower boundaries to its rotations.
There are not (at this time) any "Over-bought" or "Over-sold" Areas, this is partially due to the previous consideration since any levels for these could potentially change from chart to chart. Additionally, it would generally be better to read the data based on the context of the current market.
Non-directional movements effect the Discovery Index as well. Since Discovery does not occur from every bar, the Index reflects hesitations as well as movements in market direction.
With the option to input a symbol, the Discovery Index Indicator is not constrained to one chart ticker for its calculation and could help to see shifts between different symbols, making it easier to compare different assets.
With the separation of wicks and candle body data, a stronger move may be observed by its full-bodied movements, while a potentially more speculative move may be seen from large wick movements. Since wicks are often interpreted as either, Rejection for reversal OR as Testing for continuation, the interpretation for Wick Discovery generally varies based on context.
Discovery Index ⇾ Divergences! Due to its calculation, price (and/or volume) data is displayed in such a way that makes it useful as a tool for identifying divergence opportunities.
Remember, this indicator is lookback based. An immediate significant change from the data source (if not offset by a similar opposite change) will be represented for multiple bars after its occurrence. Due to this, data is likely to be skewed or biased from these occurrences for a period of time after.
Throughout development, "Discovery" has been shortened to just "Disco", therefore, this indicator is also an attempt to bring Disco Back.

[KVA]Body Percentage Counter This indicator presents a comprehensive view of the historical candle data within user-defined body percentage ranges. Each column represents a specific body size percentage threshold, starting from as low as 0.01% and extending up to 20%.
The rows categorize candles by their closing and opening price differences, effectively sorting them into green (bullish) and red (bearish) candles based on whether they closed higher or lower than their opening prices.
First Row of the table is the bu
For developers, this table can be immensely useful in determining stop-loss ranges. By analyzing the frequency of candles that fall within certain body percentage ranges, developers can better understand where to set stop-loss orders. For instance, if a developer notices a high frequency of candles with body sizes within a specific percentage range, they may choose to set their stop-loss orders outside of this range to avoid being stopped out by normal market fluctuations.
Moreover, the indicator can be used to:
Volatility Assessment : The indicator can be used to gauge market volatility. Smaller bodies may indicate consolidation periods, while larger bodies might suggest more volatile market conditions.
Optimize Trading Strategies : Adjust entry and exit points based on the prevalence of certain candle sizes.
Risk Management : Determine the commonality of price movements within a certain range to better manage risks.
Backtesting : Use historical data to backtest how different stop-loss ranges would have performed in the past.
Comparative Analysis : Traders can compare the frequency of different body sizes over a selected period, providing insights into how the market is evolving.
Educational Use : For new traders, the indicator can serve as an educational tool to understand the implications of candlestick sizes and their relationship with market dynamics
The data provided in this output can guide developers to make more informed decisions about where to place stop-loss orders, potentially increasing the effectiveness of their trading algorithms or manual trading strategies.
The output of the " Body Percentage Counter" indicator is organized into a table format, which can be broken down as follows:
Header (First Row) : This row lists the body percentage thresholds used to categorize the candles. It starts from 0.01% and increases incrementally to 20%. These thresholds are likely set by the user and represent the range of candle body sizes as a percentage of the total candle size.
Green Candle Count (Second Row) : This row displays the count of green candles—candles where the close price is higher than the open price—that fall within each body percentage threshold. For example, under the column "0.01", the number 25 indicates there are 25 green candles whose body size is 0.01% of the total candle size.
Red Candle Count (Third Row) : This row shows the count of red candles—candles where the close price is lower than the open price—for each body percentage threshold. The numbers in this row reflect the number of red candles that match the body percentage criteria in the corresponding column.
Total Candle Count (Fourth Row) : This row sums the counts of both green and red candles for each body percentage threshold, providing a total count of candles that have a body size within the specific range. For instance, if under "0.01" the green count is 25 and the red count is 26, then the total would be 51.
This organized data representation allows users to quickly assess the distribution of candle body sizes over a historical period, which is especially useful for determining the frequency of price movements that are significant enough to consider for stop-loss settings or other trade management decisions.
