Description:
Financial Freedom Institutional Money Flow is an advanced technical oscillator designed to track smart money movements and capital flows in financial markets. Instead of relying solely on standard price action, it integrates multiple quantitative calculations to measure institutional power:
Money Flow Index (MFI): Utilizes typical price (hlc3) and volume over a specified period (len) to evaluate buying and selling pressure.
Net Volume Flow & Normalization: Calculates volume-weighted price changes (close - open * volume) and normalizes the data to a clean 0-100 scale, preventing scaling issues across different stocks.
Unified Institutional Index: Combines MFI and normalized volume flow to generate a single smoothed power index.
Visual Zones & Dynamic Coloring:
Highlights Heavy Institutional Accumulation below the 30 threshold (Green zone).
Highlights Heavy Selling / Take Profit zones above the 70 threshold (Red zone).
Automatically shifts line colors based on momentum strength (Green for bullish flow, Red for bearish pressure, Orange for neutral consolidation).
