RSI Hunter — Multi-Symbol Watchlist
Scans up to 36 user-defined symbols for overbought and oversold RSI conditions and displays the results in a single sorted watchlist.

The indicator calculates the RSI for each symbol and filters against configurable overbought and oversold thresholds. Only symbols breaching these levels are shown. Results are split into two sections, each sorted from most to least extreme, with a trigger count in the header.

Update — Divergence Detection & Alert SystemThis update adds automatic detection of regular RSI divergences alongside a configurable alert system with built-in noise filtering.
Divergence Detection
The scanner now identifies bullish and bearish divergences between price and RSI for every monitored symbol. When a divergence is found, the affected row in the watchlist is highlighted with a yellow background and a dot marker next to the symbol name. Divergence pivots are evaluated across the entire RSI range, while the watchlist itself continues to display only symbols whose current RSI is in the overbought or oversold zone. Pivot sensitivity, search range, and maximum age are user-configurable.
Alerts
Three independent alert types are now available:
- OB/OS Alert — triggers when a symbol enters the overbought or oversold zone
- Divergence Alert — triggers when a divergence is detected
- Combined Alert — triggers only when both conditions occur simultaneously
Noise Filtering
To prevent repeated alerts when RSI oscillates near a threshold, two filters work together: a hysteresis buffer requires the symbol to leave the zone by a configurable number of RSI points before it can re-trigger, and a cooldown enforces a minimum bar count between consecutive alerts for the same symbol.
Alert messages include the list of affected symbols and their current RSI values.

Only triggering symbols are listed — the message contains exclusively coins currently inside your defined OB/OS zones (or with active divergence). No noise from unrelated symbols.
Dynamic timeframe label — auto-converts internal codes to readable format (240 → 4h, 60 → 1h, D → 1D, …).
Important: PulseWire alerts snapshot your settings at the moment of creation. If you change the Overbought/Oversold thresholds (e.g. 75/25 → 80/20), delete and recreate the alert so the new values take effect.

WHAT IT DOES
The indicator reads RSI for up to 36 symbols on one fixed scan timeframe
and reports only those outside the configured thresholds. Everything in
range is omitted, so the table shows what is currently extreme rather
than a full grid you have to read through.
Results are split into overbought and oversold, each sorted from most to
least extreme, with the count in the section header. The scan timeframe
is independent of the chart you are viewing.
RSI AND THE THRESHOLDS
RSI is the standard Wilder calculation over the configured length,
default 14. Defaults here are 75 and 25 rather than the usual 70 and 30,
because on perpetual crypto pairs the milder levels are reached often
enough to be uninformative.
An extreme RSI is not a reversal. It states that recent closes have been
one-directional relative to their own range, nothing more. In a trend a
symbol can stay above 75 for weeks. The table answers "what is stretched
right now", not "what is about to turn".
DIVERGENCE
Optional. A divergence is flagged when the newest RSI pivot moved
opposite to price: a lower price low against a higher RSI low, or a
higher price high against a lower RSI high.
A pivot needs the configured number of bars on each side to dominate, so
it is only confirmed that many bars after it printed. The maximum age is
now counted from confirmation rather than from the pivot bar. Previously
it was counted from the pivot bar, which meant the lookback was already
subtracted from the age budget the moment a pivot appeared: with the
default lookback of 5 and maximum age of 5, a divergence was visible for
exactly one bar, and any maximum age below the lookback made divergences
impossible to display at all. That was a defect, not a design choice.
The comparison mode is now switchable. Strict, the new default, compares
the newest pivot with the one immediately before it, which is what
divergence normally means and what you will find when you check the
chart yourself. Wide compares it with every pivot still inside the search
range, which produces considerably more candidates for the simple reason
that a wide enough window almost always contains one that qualifies. The
previous version used the wide mode exclusively and did not say so.
ALERT BUFFERING
Three separate alerts: entering an extreme zone, divergence detected, and
both at once. Each carries the symbol list in the message body.
Two mechanisms prevent alert spam. Hysteresis requires a symbol to leave
its zone by a margin in RSI points before it can trigger again, so a
value oscillating around the threshold does not fire repeatedly. A
cooldown enforces a minimum number of bars between two alerts for the
same symbol.
The cadence is worth understanding. The table reads the scan timeframe
and updates with it, but alerts are evaluated when a chart bar closes.
On a chart coarser than the scan timeframe, the scanner sees changes the
alerts never report. On a much finer chart, the same state is
re-evaluated many times. Neither is wrong, both surprise people, so the
table header now shows both timeframes and marks the coarser-chart case.
HOW TO USE IT
Set the scan timeframe to the one you actually trade and leave it there.
Set the chart to the same timeframe or finer if you intend to use the
alerts.
The table is a shortlist, not a set of entries. A symbol appearing at RSI
81 tells you where to look next, and the chart tells you whether there is
anything worth acting on. Used the other way round it will hand you
counter-trend entries in strong trends, which is the standard way of
losing money with an oscillator.
The combined alert is the selective one. An extreme reading with a
confirmed divergence is a narrower condition than either alone, and if
you only want to be interrupted occasionally, that is the one to enable.
Organise the 36 slots by theme rather than alphabetically, since the
block tags B1 to B6 appear next to each symbol and let you see at a
glance whether a whole sector is stretched or just one name. Leave a
slot blank to skip it.
The exchange prefix and quote suffix are now inputs. The defaults produce
Binance perpetuals; change the suffix to USDT for spot, or the prefix to
another venue. Enable the failed symbols section while setting this up,
since a wrong combination fails silently otherwise.
LIMITS
Divergence appears with a structural delay equal to the pivot lookback,
because a pivot cannot be confirmed before the bars after it exist. This
cannot be removed without looking ahead.
Divergence is a description of a relationship between two pivots, not a
forecast. Many divergences resolve by the indicator catching up to price
rather than price turning. The indicator produces no direction, no entry
and no target.
Alerts depend on the chart bar closing, so a chart left on a coarse
timeframe will report less than the table shows.
CHANGES IN THIS UPDATE
- Divergence age is counted from confirmation, not from the pivot bar.
- Strict divergence comparison added and set as the default.
- Table row capacity raised; the failed symbol list can no longer overrun it.
- Header shows scan timeframe and chart timeframe.
- Exchange prefix and quote suffix are configurable.
